Sea of Love
The lake had been peaceful, silent, as silent as they had been, Mugen holding Fuu to his warm body the day she had told him she was pregnant with their child. Only his voice had broken the silence that surrounded them and the lake,
"Fuu, what do you think about the ocean?"
"...You know I don't like it. Whenever I see it, it reminds me of all those times you or Jin were hurt, or nearly died."
"So…you wouldn't want to live near it, would you?"
"You and your oceans again…"-chuckle-"I don't know Mugen. It would depend."
"Well, someday I'm gonna take you there. I'm gonna take you to an ocean where it'll never hurt you or me, and will always protect us. You'll see, I will, someday."
