Please note that the prologue of this story is inspired by smilingsamurai's "The New Teacher". You don't have to read that story before reading mine but I do recommend reading it because he is a much better writer than me.

Anyway I have been wanting to see this kind of story for a while but I could never find one like it so just like I did with My other story I just decided to go "Fuck it I'll do it myself."

Updates for this may be slow due to me also having to write FGO: Hero of the Future but I will primarily focus on writing this one while I wait for reviews for every new chapter in FGO: Hero of the Future.

The title isn't final and I am open to suggestions on a new title.

Prologue

The Underworld…

Throughout history the underworld has been called many things. Hell, the Demon World, The Dark realm. Despite all it was called, For the man named Dante, it was just a bunch of dime a dozen worlds filled with all sorts of nightmarish monsters and beasts that would kill you in all kinds of ways. Dante didn't care, he could beat them all and give them an ass whooping that would make their ancestors cringe. Coming down to this place again was just another Tuesday as far as he was concerned.

Breaking through the red clouds of the underworld, he barreled towards the ground in his Sin Devil Trigger with his twin brother Vergil behind him. He landed on the ground as he exited his Sin Devil Trigger followed by Vergil landing in front of him before exiting his transformation before standing up. Walking up next to Vergil he looked at the large tree standing before the two.

"Wow, this thing got real big. You trying to compensate for something?" Dante asked while turning his head towards his brother, causing Vergil to look at him with his signature stoic expression.

"Yes. You're incompetence." He said as he turned to continue walking towards the tree as Dante started following him.

"So we just have to cut this thing down?" Dante asked while catching up to Vergil.

"That's Right," Vergil replied with a tiny hint of teasing drawl. "I'm more than capable of handling this on my own."

"You're gonna need some help…" replied Dante with a playful smirk. "And someone to keep an eye on you."

At one point in time the mere suggestion that the Darkslayer needed any form of assistance would have invoked his anger. But many things have happened since the last time they met. For the first time in his life, Vergil allowed a tiny smile to grace his face, even if it was only for half a second.

"By the way, how'd it feel catching up with your kid?" Dante playfully asked.

"There's no need for us to catch up." He bluntly answered, returning to his usual stoic expression.

"Well with an attitude like that you're never gonna meet your grandkids." Dante playfully responded, prompting Vergil to unsheathe his sword Yamato and holding the blade in front of Dante who lifted his hands up.

"That's enough. I don't wanna hear it." He said as he put his sword back in it's sheath. "Now, don't get in my way."

"Took the words right out of my mouth." Dante responded as he walked up next to Vergil and summoned his Massive sword before resting it on his shoulder.

Together the two sons of Sparta approached the massive tree in front of them. The trunk seemingly stretches up into the sky itself and is far larger than any mountain. The tree's roots were visible for several hundred miles. The trunk went on to extend all the way across dimensions and into the human world. This demonic tree that blooms once every few thousand years was known as the Qliphoth.

The Qliphoth was using its many roots to absorb an enormous amount of demonic energy. These same roots had managed to spread all the way to the human world. On the other side of the portal, the roots had drained the entirety of RedGrave city's population dry of their blood in order to feed its power. This power was now rising to cataclysmic levels, causing its very presence to tear through the fabric of space and time that separated the Underworld from the Human World. To destroy something of that scale would require an enormous amount of power. Power that the Sons of Sparta had.

"Well, time cut down this overgrown weed. You ready?" Dante asked his brother.

"I think my answer goes without question." Vergil replied.

"Good to know we're on the same page." Dante responded as he lifted his sword off his shoulder.

Simultaneously, the twin brothers transformed, unleashing an explosion of red and blue auras as they entered their Sin Devil Trigger forms. Despite each of the brothers obtaining this power through different means, both Devils of Sin pulsed and crackled with energy from their God-like power. The sheer scale of their power was causing the dimension of the Underworld to tremble. To the denizens of the Underworld they experienced true terror once again. Mundas had been the one who brought them to their knees long ago with his brute force. And after him was the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda who had proved himself even stronger. Now, not one but two devils had appeared who not only matched his power but surpassed it. In the Demon World, might reigns supreme, and in the face of such power, none dared to stand before them.

With an absolute primal roar of energy, the two godlike beings readied their weapons. Vergil unsheathed Yamato from his forearm, while Dante raised the blade that shared his name. In perfect sync the two brothers unleashed their attacks on the tree. Vergil's slash appeared to rend the fabric of reality itself as an expanding blue line went clean through the trunk. The trunk then began to slide off as it was no longer connected to the roots that kept it connected to the ground. The tree then grew countless tentacles to hold itself together in a desperate attempt to save itself. Then Dante's attack connected to the tree as a river of red blades of energy stretched across the great distance between him and the tree. The swords seemed to cover the entire surface of the Qliphoth as Dante Curled his four wings inward and unleashed thousands of condensed spheres of energy that raced towards the tree. As they touched the tree they detonated with a blast that put any human invention to shame and completely obliterated the demonic tree, reducing it to atoms.

With the task finally done the twin brothers reverted back to their human forms and gracefully landed on the ground. Dante then faced his brother and lifted one finger up while smirking.

"Score for Dante. I'm up one."

Vergil just rolled his eyes at his younger twin's claim.

"Where'd you learn to count. We're even." Vergil replied as he returned his sword to it's sheath.

"Y'know, I think this is never gonna end." Dante just sighed and waved his hand. Vergil made a slight smirk at Dante's remark.

"Maybe, but we've got plenty of time—"

Vergil was then interrupted as the ground began shaking. All around them, the very world seemed to be falling apart like shards of glass leaving a swirling mass of everything and nothing laid bare before them.

"What the hell's going on?!" Dante shouted while baring his teeth.

"Destroying the tree must've released too much power! It's causing the wall between dimensions to be torn apart!"

Vergil, due to his experience with using the Yamato, could recognize what was happening.

"Didn't you say that cutting down the roots would close the opening?!"

"It did! The portal is already closing! The tree must be releasing its power in a vain attempt to keep the portal open! The portal should be closed for good in mere moments." Vergil explained.

"Guess we better get back!"

Dante turned to face his brother with suspicion that he would repeat the choice he made at the Temen-in-gru all those years ago.

"Hey, You ain't planning on staying, are you?" Dante asked while glaring at him.

Vergil responded with an uncharacteristic smirk as he exhaled.

"I think I've had quite enough of the scenery here. I don't think I would enjoy staying here for the rest of my life." Vergil answered, causing Dante to smile.

"Now that's what I'm talking about, Let's go!"

The two then sprinted across the cracking ground at supersonic speeds towards the portal that existed where the tree once was, the portal that was growing smaller as they approached.

"Can't you just use the Yamato to make another one of those?" Dante asked.

"Unlikely. The dimension is already too unstable. If we rip it apart we could run the risk of being lost in limbo for eternity!"

Dante swore as the two of them sped up.

Upon the realization that they wouldn't make it at their current pace, both brothers decided to use all of their capabilities.

Virgil's silhouette flashed blue as he teleported a short distance via his Trick technique.

Dante, on the other hand, jumped and switched to Trickster style as a floating red magic circle shimmered in the air behind him. Quickly placing his feet on the circle he was then hurled forward.

And with that, both brothers had reached the gap right in time.

But as they entered the gap, the portal closed and left them on a floating rock in a place that was unfamiliar to them. Surrounding the rock they were on was a vast expanse of yellow, green, and purple swirls that almost looked like paint on some kind of thin fabric.

"What happened, didn't we make it to the portal on time?" Dante asked.

"It would seem that while we made it to the side of the portal in the Underworld before it closed, the side in the Human world had closed before we could make it, leaving us here." Vergil explained.

"Dammit! We were so close!" Dante yelled as he kicked a nearby rock.

"Calm down Dante."

"And why should I calm down, we didn't make it in time and now were stuck, lost in limbo for all eternity!" Dante angrily told his brother.

"While I may not know where we are, I can tell that wherever we ended up is certainly not limbo. We most likely ended up in some form of dimensional gap."

"Then do explain, dear brother, why this place isn't limbo." Dante said sarcastically.

"Well for one, the space in limbo probably doesn't look like that," Vergil said as he lifted his sheath and pointed the hilt of his sword at the vast expanse before pointing the hilt off to the right. "And secondly, limbo probably doesn't have that."

Dante turned to see what Vergil was pointing at and saw an enormous red dragon flying towards them. A god-forsaken dragon. It had a horn on its nose and four wings.

"Woah, in all my years of hunting demons, I never thought I would see a dragon." Dante said as he whistled.

"In any case, we aren't in any condition to fight it."

Dante could tell that Vergil wasn't lying. It held immense power. He knew that he and Vergil could take it with their Sin Devil Triggers but they didn't have the energy to enter that form in their current state.

As the dragon stopped in front of the two he stared at them with fierce golden orbs that possessed thin reptilian slits. As it stared at the two brothers a single question entered their mind.

Is this where we die?

Dante decided that if he were to die he might as well do it in a manner that would make his pride swell even after death.

"It's Godzilla!" He screamed in an exaggerated manner whilst pointing at the huge dragon, causing Vergil to roll his eyes. "Seriously, you seem almost perfect for the role. Just take away those four wings of yours as well as that weird looking horn on your snout, and color those red scales grey and you're all set!"

Vergil just looked at him with a blank, deadpan expression. "Really Dante? We're standing in front of the largest creature both of us have seen in our entire lives and your first thought is to make a remark about its appearance?"

Apparently, the Dragon didn't like the remark Dante gave. It reached out two fingers and posed for a flick. There was no point in dodging something that would be going beyond the speed they were capable of at that moment.

"Well, this is gonna hurt…" Dante said one last thing.

"I can't believe this is how we might die." Vergil told Dante just before the dragon's two fingered flick made contact with their bodies and caused them to fly off into a distant, unstable rift in space that opened up behind them just before they blacked out.

Today was definitely a Tuesday.

Dante opened his eyes and found that he ended up in some kind of forest. Lifting himself up he looked around to find that he wasn't in a forest, no, he was in a park. Dante finally stood up and saw that it was night time and Vergil was nowhere to be found. Shrugging his shoulders, Dante got out from behind the bushes and began walking looking for the nearest map. As he was walking he was thinking to himself.

'Guess I'm not dead, but where exactly did that dragon send me?'

As he was walking he noticed that the park was unnaturally silent. The park seemed to be almost unnaturally empty. Shrugging his shoulders, he guessed that it could be due to it being night time.

Up ahead he spotted a map of the park by a fountain and walked up to it. Upon looking at the map he figured out where the dragon sent him. But in doing so he had a new question to worry about.

"Dammit, that dragon sent me to Japan. How am I gonna pay for a flight back home? Well at least Nero forced me to learn Japanese a few years back, thank God—Ouch!" Dante suddenly felt a huge pain in his head, causing him to reel back. "Damn dragon must've hit me harder than I thought."

Reading the map he learned that he was in a town called Kuoh and found where the park's exit was. Upon picking up what he wanted to know he turned to leave.

*30 minutes later*

As Dante walked into town he had two priorities. Priority one: Find the nearest place that sells pizza. Priority two: Find a place with a computer. Priority three: figure out a way to get a place to stay.

As he turns a corner onto another street he notices that he is being followed. Not wanting to waste the opportunity to get some money, he pretends not to notice and continues walking. He spotted the entrance to an alley up ahead and entered it.

Turning around he sees six teenagers starting to surround him.

"Looks like you took a wrong turn old man." One of them said out loud. "Listen here, take out all your valuables nice and slow and you'll walk out here with only one broken bone. ain't that right boys?"

"Yeah!" They all responded.

Dante just chuckled at their threat before responding in his usual demeanor. "Well looks like you caught me, whatever shall I do?" He said in a dramatic and mocking tone.

"You trying to mock us? Listen here old man, we ain't got time for this shit, just do as we say before you get your teeth kicked in." The thug warned.

"What? Me? Mocking you? No, no no. Pfft yeah." Dante responded, continuing to mock them.

"You got some death wish pal? We have you outnumbered six to one." The thug got angrier from this silver haired man mocking him.

"I like those odds, sounds like a party." Dante playfully responded while grinning.

"Get that son of a bitch!" He shouted. One of the thugs tried to sucker punch Dante but he grabbed the attacker and tossed him into another one, causing both of them to crash into a wall.

"That all you guys got?" Dante asked. Another tried to rush him from behind but Dante just sidestepped him and caused the guy to run straight into another one. "Surely you guys can do better than that?" Dante continued mocking them.

"Quit looking down on us you bastard!" The leader yelled as the others got up and started to rush him.

"So you guys want me to take you seriously, well if you insist." Dante shrugged his shoulders before catching a sucker punch from a thug behind him before grabbing his arm and swinging him around before tossing them into the other five thugs, knocking them over.

"Steeerike!" Dante declared before jumping over them and landing behind them. "As fun as this is, I got places to be." Dante then karate chopped all six of their heads, knocking them out.

'Seeing as I don't have any money, might as well take theirs.' He said as he looted their wallets before leaving the alley.

After another five minutes of walking Dante spots what looks like a small restaurant up ahead. Getting excited he sped up to the entrance of the place and opened the door. It was a small place that resembled a diner but it did look nice. He walked up to the bar counter top and took a seat. After about twenty seconds of waiting a waitress walked up to the counter. She had medium length black hair tied into a ponytail with brown eyes. She had a medium sized chest with a decently round ass and a relatively slim build.

"How can I help you sir?"

"I'd like to order something to eat." Dante replied.

"Sure, just one second." She said before bending down under the counter and taking out a menu and placing it on the counter. "Here you go."

"Thaank you." He said as he opened the menu looking for something to eat. After a few seconds of searching he found what he was looking for, the sacred food. Licking his lips he set down the menu and turned to the waitress.

"I'll take the basil and spicy salami pizza, no onions please." He told the waitress, who took out a small notepad and wrote his order down.

"What drink would you like to have with that?" She asked him.

"I'll have a glass of beer, thank you very much." Dante answered.

"Sure thing." She said before going into the kitchen.

After she left Dante heard a bell ring behind him as someone entered the diner. Dante turned and saw a man walk up to the counter and sit in the chair next to him. The man looked to be in his twenties and had an average build. He had black hair with golden bangs and a black goatee. He was wearing an untucked, white long-sleeved button down shirt with a black blazer and dark grey khakis.

The man rang the bell on the counter before turning to Dante.

"Haven't seen you around town before." He told the demon hunter.

"Well I just arrived so you can say I'm new here." Dante told him just as the waitress came out with Dante's drink.

"Your drink sir." She handed Dante his drink before turning to the other man. "Let me guess, the usual?" The man looked at the drink and turned to the waitress.

"Actually I was thinking about spicing things up a bit. I'll have two glasses of beer with my usual." He told her.

"Coming up." She said as she turned to go into the kitchen when Dante spoke up.

"Can you get me another two glasses of beer please?" Dante asked her. Rolling her eyes she turned around to him.

"Sir, you just got-" her response was cut short at the sight of the glass she just gave Dante completely empty. "Nevermind, I'll get you another two glasses." She said as she went back into the kitchen.

Dante turned to the man next to him and saw him on the verge of tears trying not to laugh at witnessing Dante down an entire glass of beer in less than two seconds just so he can order an additional two in order to one-up him.

"What can I say? I sensed a challenge and responded in kind." Dante shrugged with a smirk on his face. Causing the man to start laughing.

"If I had a nickel for every time I'd seen someone down a whole glass of beer so they can order more in an attempt to one-up me, I would have two nickels. Ain't a lot but I didn't think it would happen twice." The man praised Dante. "Name's Azazel."

"Call me Dante."

The waitress walked out with their drinks and placed them on the counter in front of them.

"Here are your drinks sir and here are your's perverted bastard." She said to the man named Azazel who dramatically grabbed his chest like he had been stabbed.

"I'm hurt that you think so lowly of me Akia-chan, I'm not just some perverted bastard." He lifted his hand off his chest and snapped his finger and pointed at her with his palm facing the ceiling. "I'm the super perverted harem bastard!" He announced with a wink and a slight laughter. Dante couldn't help but snort in amusement. As the waitress, now named Akia rolled her eyes and groaned at his antics before leaving into the kitchen.

After five minutes Akia came back out of the kitchen with their meals to find the two laughing their ass off about something.

"So let me get this straight, you rode a flaming motorcycle and rained marmalade on people." Azazel asked him while laughing his ass off.

"Yes sir, and it was truly a sight to behold, sadly the motorcycle became unusable after that." Dante shrugged.

"Must have been a nice view from up there." Azazel said.

"You bet. Pro-tip, if you wear sunglasses you can stare at tits longer before getting caught." Dante told him.

"I can't believe I never thought of that. Breasts truly are like the sun." Azazel smirked while stroking his chin.

Akia couldn't help but be scared at what she was seeing.

'Oh god, they're multiplying.' She thought as she set their meals down on the counter before leaving into the kitchen.

"Finally, time to feast on the sacred dish." Dante said as he grabbed a slice of the pizza and ate it. Azazel couldn't help but laugh at Dante calling pizza the 'Sacred Dish'.

After eating Akia came back out with the bills for the two of them. After dropping them in front of the two she glared at them with disgust.

"Here's your bill's perverts."

"Why am I cursed to have terrible luck with women?" Dante sighed as he looked at his bill and gave the waitress 6,400 yen for his meal.

"Don't lose hope my friend, there's plenty of fish in the sea." Azazel patted Dante's shoulder.

"Well, adios Azazel." Dante saluted as he walked out.

"See ya around." Azazel waved.

After leaving the diner, Dante started walking down to the library that Azazel told him about. So he can use one of the computer's there in order to figure out a way to get back home.

As he was walking he spotted what looked like a pay phone up ahead. Shrugging his shoulders, Dante decided he might as well call Nero and tell him that He somehow managed to make it back, he doesn't know where Vergil is but he can guess that he might have ended up somewhere else.

Dante walked into the phone booth and inserted some yen before dialing Nero's number.

"The number you are calling is not registered." The automated voice said.

"That's odd. Maybe I put in the wrong number.' Dante thought before trying Devil May Cry's number and got nothing. He tried several other numbers. Lady's, Trish's, and Morrison's. But every call either didn't connect from the lack of a number existing or connected to a complete stranger who happened to have the same number.

'Okay this is pretty weird. Do the phone lines not connect to anyone outside of Japan?' Dante thought. Putting the phone back, he left the phone booth and continued to make his way to the library.

'I could try to actually use that email that Nero was always on my case about to try and get to them that way.' Dante thought.

After an hour Dante had managed to get to the library and was now in front of the computer trying to get in contact with Morrison and Nero but every email address he entered came up empty as if they didn't exist.

'Ok now this is just getting weird? First their phone numbers and now their emails?' Dante rubbed his eyes in confusion. He then decided to try and search up Devil May Cry and it came up with nothing. He searched up Redgrave City, Fortunna, Malet Island. And got absolutely nothing. Getting concerned, he started looking up things like the Temen-ni-gru incident, the Qliphoth tree incident that just happened very recently and should be big news, and the Order of the sword. All of these things turned up with nothing. Starting to get worried, he decides to search up the legend of his father, The Dark Knight Sparda. He was shocked to no end to find absolutely no information on it.

"No way, Am I seriously in a different dimension?" Dante mumbled to himself. He thought back to where they ended up after entering the portal in the underworld. Vergil said that the side that was in the human world had closed before they could make it through all the way.

'Did we end up in some kind of gap between worlds?' Dante thought, rubbing his chin. 'That would explain how I ended up here after that dragon flicked me and Vergil. Wait, Vergil! Did he end up in a different world than me or is he somewhere else in this one?'

With so many questions Dante decided to shut down the computer and leave the library to find some place to stay for the night so he can get some sleep in order to relax his brain.

Upon exiting the store Dante suddenly felt a strange energy. It felt like the demonic energy he was familiar with, but still somewhat different. He quickly walked to a nearby alley and summoned Cavaliere before riding it out of the alley and driving to the source of the strange energy.

After five minutes Dante arrived at the source of the weird energy he felt. He was at some kind of abandoned warehouse. He unsummoned Cavaliere and entered the building.

Upon entering he was immediately hit with a horrible odor that made him cringe and start waving his hand.

"Whew, smells like hot garbage." Dante remarked. It was nearly pitch black inside the building with only traces of light coming through the few windows that there were. It would have been impossible for a normal person to see very well in a place as dark as this. But Dante was far from normal, for him he could see everything as clear as day. Including the demon looking thing that was silently crawling on the right side of the ceiling.

It looked like a spider, only the end of its legs looked like they were as sharp as knives and it had the upper body of a woman sticking out of its back. The woman didn't exactly look human either. For one she had a pair of bat-like wings sticking out of her back, her skin was a dark purple, she also had four red spider-like eyes, oh and six spider-like fangs sticking out of her mouth with two pairs pointing down and one pair pointing up. She had messy dark green hair and what looked like spikes sticking out of her shoulders with sharp claws tipping her fingers. Her hands had what looked like marble sized holes in her palms that seemed to go to her wrist.

She looked like she thought Dante couldn't see her and shot a thick string of webbing from her palms at him to try and ensnare him. But much to her surprise Dante just jumps to the right and expertly dodges it. She was stunned and quickly shot several more strings of webbing as Dante front-flips over the first one, kicks himself off a wall to avoid the second one, lands with a hand-stand before doing a half cart wheel to the left and avoiding a third string. He flash-equips Dr. Faust and stylishly moonwalks backwards avoiding a fourth string before doing a stylish slide to the right and avoiding a fifth string before hopping back and doing a slide to the left before doing a twirling backflip, dodging a sixth and seventh string. Landing he reached over and grabbed the top of his hat with his left hand as he lifted his right arm up and swung it down, stopping with his fingers pointed forward and his legs crossed with his right foot flat on the ground and his left foot on its toes with it's bottom facing right.

"Jackpot!" Dante announced, leaving the demonic spider woman stunned. She could swear she saw two streams of sparks shoot out of the ground behind him for a second. She shakes her head before regaling her composure.

"Don't y'know it's rude to cover a guy you just met with your white stuff?" Dante smirked as he returned to his regular posture.

"Silence you disgusting worm! I'll kill you slowly and painfully before I devour you!" She shouted in rage.

Dante was surprised that it/she could talk. Most demons he fought were dumber than dirt and the demons that could talk were usually much stronger. But the spider woman in front of him was nowhere near as strong as those.

'Different world, different rules probably.' Dante thought, shrugging his shoulders before he continued mocking her.

"With that attitude it's no wonder you're single." Dante remarked, infuriating the spider demon.

"You should pray to whatever god you worship, your life is about to end right here!" The spider demon said as it leaped off the ceiling towards him at high speeds. Dante smirked and simply used trickster style and teleported behind her at the last second.

"Who could've guessed that your ugly mug would look even worse up close." Dante continued mocking. The demon turned around in surprise

"WHAT DID YOU SAY! I'LL WRAP YOU UP AND FEAST ON YOUR FLESH!" She yelled as she became furious at the person behind her. And lunged at him and tried to slash him in half with her claws. Keyword being "tried" because Dante yet again teleported out of the way at the last second.

"Sorry but I'm not really a burrito guy."

"STOP MOVING AND LET ME KILL YOU!" She shouted in anger at her inability to hit this man as she slashed at him again as he casually dodged it.

"Here let me think about that…nah."

"ARRGGH!" The spider demon was clearly losing it as they began rapidly slashing at him as he kept barely dodging. Getting upset she shot webbing at him which managed to hit his arm and pinned him to a column before she shot more webbing at him and covered his upper body.

"I have you pinned now you pathetic worm! Before I kill you I'm going to have some fun by taking out my frustration on you." She said as she smiled excitedly.

"Kinky, didn't know you were into that kind of stuff." Dante responded as he continued smiling.

"Joke all you want, your fate is sealed now that you have fallen right into my web."

"See, you're already capable of making a joke, even if it was terrible and unoriginal. You're making amazing progress on that attitude of your's." Dante didn't even seem fazed by the situation he was in.

"SHUT UP!" She yelled as she tried to slash at his chest as Dante grabbed Ivory and pushed its barrel through the webbing and fired a well placed shot from his hip that tore her wrist off.

"AARRGGH!" She screamed in pain as she held her wrist.

"Sheesh. Should've brought a rolled up newspaper. If I had, we could've ended this date much sooner." Dantes sighed as he put Ivory back in it's holster. "Oh well, guess this'll do." Dante summoned his Devil Sword Dante which immediately cut the webbing open and freed his right arm. Noticing this, the spider demon quickly charged at him to kill him but a red and orange flash appeared around Dante as he switched to swordmaster style and performed a Round Trips, launching four conjured glowing orange, translucent swords that sliced through her arm and three of her legs. Unable to stop moving, she went right into the tip of Dante's blade and was impaled many times as Dante performed Million Stabs before he switched to trickster style and appeared behind her with his left arm still covered in webbing.

Dante then switched back to Sword Master style before switching out his sword for Balrog. He whipped into a spin and delivered a whirlwind of two hard kicks to her face from the side before hopping and leaning sideways as he swung his foot over her head and slammed it down onto the top of her head. As he landed he performed a Break Spiral as he started breakdancing around her on the ground and landing multiple kicks on her as Balrog started to catch fire. The fire quickly burned away the webbing on him before Dante switched Balrog to Blow mode and quickly focused his power into his fist and unleashed a Real Impact by delivering a powerful gut punch followed by a knee strike and then a powerful uppercut that ripped her chest from her stomach. While in the air he performed a Cruiser Drive, delivering a brute falling punch to her chest that hit the ground with a powerful, earthshaking, shockwave, killing her.

Dante stood up and recalled Balrog as he backed away from the body. As Dante was looking at the body he was confused, the Demons he killed usually disappeared after they died but for some reason this one wasn't.

"Ah man, does this mean I have to incinerate it?" Dante asked out loud to the person who has been watching him the entire time.

"That won't be necessary my friend. That was quite the show you put on." The man emerged from behind a pillar while clapping.

Dante quickly turned to the man and was surprised to see the guy he met earlier. Azazel was standing next to a pillar by the entrance with a smile on his face.

"Well I do aim to please but let's just get to the point, what do you want?" Dante asked as his eyes narrowed slightly.

"Well for starters, could you move over a bit?" Azazel asked, gesturing to the pillar on the other side of the warehouse. Dante slides off to the right as Azazel sprouts twelve dark grey bird wings from his back and conjures multiple spears of light, before launching them at the parts of the spider chick's body and disintegrating them.

"Nice trick, you do parties?" Dante quipped at the man.

"Only the best kind. I have standards you know. Drinks, food, music, and lots of women." He responded with a smile on his face before switching to a more serious face. "So tell me where are you actually from?"

At this point, Dante has been through so much crazy shit that he had run out of fucks to give, and considering the person in front of him was definitely not human, there was no point in lying to them.

"The answer to that question would be very hard to believe." Dante told him.

"As hard to believe as the supernatural being real?" Azazel responded while raising an eyebrow.

"You got me there. Well Dorothy, I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore." Dante gave his answer.

Azazel looked confused at Dante's answer for a moment before he remembered that weird feeling he felt two hours ago and realized the reference Dante just made.

"So you're from another world?" He raised his eyebrow at the Demon hunter who was smiling and seemed relaxed.

"You betcha pal. It's gonna suck finding a way to get a place to stay, I don't even have an ID or money."

"How about I offer you a proposition? I'll get you a place to stay and set you up with an ID if you help me with a few jobs from time to time and tell me about your world." Azazel proposed with what looked like starry eyes.

"I'll accept on one condition. I have a policy against killing humans so none of that." Dante told him with a serious expression.

"Sure thing, I wasn't planning on asking you to do anything of the sort anyway." Azazel walked up to Dante and reached out his hand for a hand shake.

"Looks like this party's getting Crazy." Dante announced as he shook Azazel's hand.

At that moment ripples would be sent throughout the supernatural world that would lead to unforeseen consequences.

AN: So that's the first chapter, I wanted a story with DMC 5 Dante in Highschool DXD. All of the DMC/DXD crossovers were either AU stories or Dante was returned to his teens or something. There will be slight deviation from canon as the story progresses but the story will follow the same general path.

I did take inspiration from smilingsamurai's 'The New Teacher' for the opening because it is a premise that makes sense and doesn't mess with the original story of DMC 5. I tried my best to avoid it being a direct copy but I'm not the best at writing openings for stories so I mostly used it as a "safety wall" like how you would stick close to the wall when you're roller skating for the first time at a roller skating rink.

I want to find a way for Dante to be put into Kuoh academy as a PE teacher but I'm struggling to think of a way to put him there while still making sense.

I also want to point out that Dante won't be joining Rias' peerage. His relationship with Issei would be similar to Issei's relationship with Azazel in the actual story but with a few differences. He will also have a dynamic with Koneko in the future due to their similar circumstances surrounding their siblings.

He might get a sorta harem but I really don't like it when writers decide to have a harem shoehorned in for the sake of having a harem. I like things to make sense, dammit.

I also want to say that Vergil is in this story and will make an appearance, but I'm not going to explain when ;).
