After reading some of your reviews I have now ultimately decided against Dante having a Harem. Meaning Dante won't be stealing any of Issei's women.

Just so that I'm clear, Dante and Vergil aren't nerfed in the slightest. I absolutely despise when characters are nerfed without a good and logical reason other than for the sake of story. The part of the prologue in the Dimensional Gap happened immediately after they used up a lot of their power so they were in a weakened state at the time.

Cross177: I won't explicitly reveal what Vergil is doing and who he is with but just know he isn't with the fallen angels. For your other question, I decided to make the headache spell have the same effectiveness regardless of how powerful the target is purely for comedic effect. As for light spears and holy weapons, while the holy properties certainly affect them, Dante and Vergil's immense power makes it so that the effect is so small, it's negligible to the point where a holy sword won't feel much different from a regular one and light spears would basically be equivalent in effectiveness as Vergil's Mirage Blades. And as for Holy Spells, only high level spells would only be able to hurt them slightly and only when in their human forms, in their standard Devil Triggers they would only feel slightly weakened, and in their Sin Devil Triggers the effect would be practically nonexistent.

And since this story starts directly after the events of DMC 5, he wouldn't know about Savior. Therefore it is not me who you are correcting but Vergil. Ha ha ha ha.

Harissontuck: The reason Dante didn't ask to order a pizza with every topping except olives was because he ordered from a menu and didn't bother to ask if he could.

Mission 1

Dante's apartment…

It had been ten months since Dante ended up in this world and he was already on the verge of being in debt. That Azazel guy hasn't been getting him any jobs lately and he's had to resort to ordering slightly less pizza than usual. He probably shouldn't be complaining since if not for Azazel, he wouldn't have any form of legal identification or a place to live, plus he wouldn't really have money.

He learned from Azazel that the general populace were oblivious to the supernatural. Apparently the demons that he had been hunting were called 'Stray Devils' which was weird, makes them sound like Devils are some kind of pets. So far he hasn't had to deal with any demon attacks lately, which was a big plus in his book.

However, the lack of demon attacks was starting to get boring fast.

Only hunting demons once or twice a month was starting to get to him. He needed some action and those stray devils just weren't cutting it. Mocking them and dodging their attacks is only fun when his opponents are actually able to put up a fight.

He supposed he shouldn't really complain. He could have ended up somewhere a hell of a lot worse or be stuck in the Underworld for the rest of his life. At least this world was civilized and had pizza and strawberry sundaes. Thank God for that.

Dante twitched in pain from another short headache.

Speaking of thanking a deity who shall not be named, he had started getting migraines left and right whenever he said something that has to do with either insulting or praising the big man in the sky. It was strange since it hadn't happened to him before. Maybe God decided he was tired of Dante's shit and just decided to administer some form of divine punishment or something.

Dante snorted at the thought. God acknowledged him for something, he should feel honored.

Dante decided to spite the big man by stealing some holy water from a church one time and used it to rinse his hands. He could feel that at the very least it was affecting him but it didn't really do anything besides making his hands feel slightly itchy for an hour. He even tried wearing 20 cross necklaces at once but the reaction from them was almost nonexistent.

Dante's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by his phone ringing. He got up and walked over to the counter carefully to avoid accidentally knocking over the pizza box shrine. Reaching the kitchen counter, he picked up his phone and looked at it with an irritated expression before answering it.

"About time you called me. I've been waiting for the past three hours." Dante said over the phone.

Well, it's nice to hear from you too. Azazel said over the phone.

"Cut the BS! It's 1 AM and you haven't been getting me any jobs lately and I'm starting to fall into debt, so you better have a job for me."

Fine, I'll just cut to the chase. I haven't heard back from a few of my subordinates in Kuoh so I need you to keep a lookout for them.

"So how am I supposed to do that?"

I'm glad you asked, I applied you for a position at Kuoh Academy as a teacher.

"This feels like it's going to be such a pain. Looking after a bunch of kids isn't my Idea of a good time."

Relax, I applied you as a PE teacher, so you shouldn't get bored too easy.

"I guess it won't be a total waste of time. PE always was my favorite class in school. But why do you want me at that school anyway? I'm sure there are other cover jobs I could have." Dante asked.

you'll find out eventually. I should probably let you know that your first day is tomorrow so you better be ready.

"Hey wait—" The phone was cut off and Dante sighed as he put it back on the receiver. "That bastard. At least I'll have an additional source of money."

Dante then turned around and decided to get ready for the upcoming day.

Kuoh Academy…

"Hahh it's finally over." Rias sighed in relief that history class was over.

"Didn't you used to say that you enjoy learning, Buchou?" Akeno smiled. "Especially the subjects taught only in the human world." She whispered.

"It's not the subject, Akeno It's the teacher." Rias sighed.

Akeno started giggling before their home room teacher entered the class.

"Alright listen up!" The female teacher smacked the attendance board on the desk to get everyone's attention. The class immediately started to enter their 'obedience' mode.

"Originally, I was the one teaching you all in Physical Education class, but the headmaster has recently decided to assign a new teacher for that."

The students started cheering.

"Quiet down!" The Teacher shouted as she smacked a few students with her clipboard.

Rias and Akeno couldn't help but agree with the rest of the class. Their Homeroom teacher is extremely strict and it was getting troublesome.

"Who do you think our new teacher is going to be?" Rias asked her friend.

"I don't know, but I hope they aren't as troublesome." Akeno answered.

"Agreed."

Knock! Knock!

"Redgrave-san, please enter and introduce yourself." The teacher said

The door slides open revealing a rugged man with long silver hair wearing a long red coat and a navy blue shirt.

Most of the female students looked worried that their new teacher might be another pervert, while some of them stared at him curiously.

"Buchou, do you feel that?" Akeno whispered, referring to the energy coming from the new teacher.

Rias nodded slightly. It felt familiar but she couldn't quite wrap her head around it.

"Names Redgrave Dante, I'll be your new PE teacher from now on." Dante introduced himself.

Most of the students were a bit taken aback from how casual he was.

"Everyone has eight minutes to get their uniform on and meet me at the field. Can't make it in time, sucks to be you because you're gonna have to run 25 laps around the school."

Everyone who wasn't athletic immediately started panicking when Redgrave-Sensei pulled out a stopwatch and started making his way to the door.

"You kids better hurry because the timer starts now." He smirked as he started the timer and ran off to the field.

All the students started panicking and rushed to get to the locker rooms.

*6 minutes later.*

Did Dante expect everyone to make it on time? No. Was he going to enjoy having to teach them? Definitely not. Was he going to do it anyway and get these kids into shape? Maybe. If they survive that is.

Dante was walking out of the storage room with a huge stack of cones that covered his face. He then reached the center of the track and set the cones down next to a pile of clipboards that each had a blank sheet of paper and pencils before looking up and seeing two students.

"Well you're pretty quick, didn't expect anyone to get here that fast."

Rias and Akeno nodded silently before sitting down. They both were panting lightly.

Dante then picked up his clipboard and started checking the names on his list.

"Let's see here…you two are Rias Gregory and Akeno Himejima, that right?" Dante asked them.

"Yes, sensei." Rias answered.

Dante nodded. "Good. Since you two got here early, you get to set up the cones around the track for me. Just put them in these spots." He handed them a clipboard that showed the track with certain spots of it circled.

"Sensei, what are those for?" Rias pointed at the stack of clipboards.

"This is what we're going to be doing today."

Aken smiled seductively. "Ara~ we rushed all the way here and now your subjecting use to hard labor sensei~"

Dante turned towards Akeno. "Nice try, but I can tell you're not tired with that look, so better get going or you're going to be with the people who got here late."

"Yes Sensei." The two answered before going out to set up the cones.

"Sensei!"

"We're here!"

A group of students ran as fast as they could towards Dante.

"Looks like you just barely made it." Dante told them before dragging his foot across the ground and creating a line. "Everyone line up here."

The students were panting hard, but complied with the teachers demands. Rias and Akeno finished setting up the cones and joined them shortly afterwards.

After another three minutes all of the remaining students had arrived and were waiting in line for further instructions.

"Looks like these seven ladies were the only ones to make it in time. The rest of you know what that means." Dante said while evilly smiling.

"Dammit!"

"I'm so tired, Shit…"

"Nooo!"

"Alright quiet down." Dante said, using a cone as a loudspeaker. "Now I did say that being late meant doing twenty laps around the school."

The students started to become scared of what was ahead.

"However, I was actually using an advanced technique called lying." Dante told them, causing everyone who was late to sigh in relief.

"But that doesn't mean everyone is getting off Scot free. Everyone who got here on time will go next to each pair of cones on the track. You will take one of the two cones next to you and run one lap with it, then you're gonna put it down and go to the next pair of cones and run a lap with one of those. You will repeat this until you have run one lap with all 14 cones…four times." Dante revealed.

Their relief was quickly turned to fear as they were now scared of what lay ahead.

"Well you better get to stretching and get on with the exercise." Dante said as the seven students who weren't late ran like hell. Dante then turned to the remaining students with an evil smile that sent chills down their spines.

"As for those of you who got here late, you will all grab one of these clipboards, a pencil, and a stopwatch each and spread out." The students complied and waited for their instructions.

"Sensei, why do we need these clipboards and pencils?" One of the students asked.

"Well, I'm glad you asked," Dante answered with an evil smile. "What you're going to be doing will be something I like to call Five, Ten, Fifteen, Twenty. This exercise consists of five pushups, ten squats, and 15 jumping jacks. You will do these three things 20 times and time yourself. The clipboard and pencil is so you can keep track of how many sets you've done. Once you're done you'll give me your times." Dante finished.

Everyone's faces paled when they realised that what they were doing would be arguably much harder than the rest of the students and probably were going to die from exhaustion.

"Oh don't worry, everyone here has 45 minutes, If you don't finish in time then you'll be doing it tomorrow." Dante happily told them.

"Alright! Times up kiddos! Gather 'round!" Dante ordered.

Most of the students were either limping, panting, collapsing, or all of the above. But they had all made it to Dante.

Dante nodded happily. "Good! I hope all of you are feeling the burn. Now tell me how was Physical Education?"

There was a series of incomprehensible groans from most of the students alongside several comments along the lines of "It was hell.", "I feel like shit", or "I'm dying".

"I hope you're all proud of yourselves. Because regardless of how well everyone did, you did your best." Dante told them.

Everyone smiled faintly through their exhaustion.

"Make sure you take a hot bath and sleep early. Should help to lessen the pain everyone's gonna experience tomorrow from today's workout." Dante said.

Most of the students started to admire him. He does care about them.

"Redgrave-sensei…"

"Sensei's so cool!"

Dante clapped to snap them out of their thoughts. "See you next week. Class dismissed." Dante said as he walked off.

Most of the students groaned in pain as they moved to go change. Some students didn't even bother changing and just went home."

"Buchou…" Akeno lightly groaned.

"Yeah? Akeno?" Rias asked.

"What do you think…?"

"I can tell he is strong, I'll tell Koneko to keep an eye on him." Rias answered exhaustingly. "By the way, I feel like we're forgetting something." Rias stared at the sky.

Akeno thought about it for a moment. "Now that you mention it… I think we forgot something…"

Rias frowned before her eyes widened in realization. "Oh shoot, we were going to take Issei with us On that 'order of suppression' from the arch-duke Tonight."

"Then we better get going." Akeno said as she got up and made her way to the locker room to change as Rias got up and followed her.

*3 hours later*

Dante was currently at his new favorite pizza diner and had just finished his meal of three whole pizzas with every available topping except olives. He was currently indulging himself in a strawberry sundae as he was thinking back on the class he taught, more specifically two of the students; Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima. He could feel some kind of demonic energy coming from them as well as several other students in the school, but by the way they were acting they didn't have any malicious intent.

'I guess this is why that bastard put me there. I should probably investigate them further, maybe ask about them on Monday.' He thought before finishing his Strawberry Sundae and leaving.

As Dante was leaving the pizza restaurant he felt another demonic energy signature. He had been hearing about reports of people disappearing around some abandoned mansion at the edge of town. Normally he wouldn't bother with rumors, but the frequency of the disappearances combined with the location of the demonic energy he felt told him that there was a "stray devil" there.

'Let's hope this one will be somewhat interesting.' Dante thought as he walked into an alleyway and summoned Cavilire before riding off to the location.

Mansion…

Issei Hyoudou currently found himself being led by Akeno, Koneko, Kiba, and Rias. The full moon was out tonight and the moonlight shined down upon the group and cast an every glow on the abandoned mansion they stood in front of. Rias had led them here after receiving an 'order of suppression' from some Arch-Duke guy.

The mansion in front of them looked like it used to be a grand home filled with all kinds of fancy decorations that were perfect for most homes owned by rich, stuck up assholes. Right now however, It looked like some kind of haunted mansion that had been abandoned for several decades. The walls were cracked and stained. Moss and vines had grown everywhere on the building. The windows were broken yet the inside was too dark for even his new vision to make out anything. The place was truly a wreck if the giant hole in the side was anything to go by.

"Listen up Issei," Rias said, getting Issei's attention. "This will be important for you to remember, as it's something that we will likely be called on to do again in the future."

"Stray Devils are underling Devils much like yourself, except they betrayed their masters and went rogue. Most of them that strike out on their own end up acting like rabid dogs and eating humans. And much like rabid dogs they need to be put down."

'That Fallen Angel Donaseek mistook me for a Stay Devil.' Issei thought.

"Normally one of the laws of our kind is that if a stray devil is found in our territory, then they are to be destroyed with extreme prejudice." Rias paused for a moment. "However, recently someone has been hunting stray devils in our territory. I would like to find out who it is as well as their affiliation." Rias told the group.

"Do you think we'll find them here?" Kiba asked

"I'm unsure but I sure hope so."

"…Smell of blood." Koneko covers her nose with her uniform after she says that.

'Smell of blood? I can't smell anything. Does Koneko have a good sense of smell?' Issei thought to himself.

Everyone was suddenly stricken by a massive amount of killing intent. What was unusual was that the killing intent wasn't directed at the ORC.

"Issei, this will be a good opportunity to watch what a Devils' battle is like. Today, just concentrate and look how we fight—"

CRASH!

Rias was cut off by a loud crash from the inside of the mansion.

"I guess we will find out who they are after all." Akeno smiled.

The group ran into the house and Issei was not ready for the smell as his face became green and he looked like he was about to vomit.

CRASH!

"STOP RUNNING AND DIE YOU BASTARD!"

A scream echoed through the mansion that was followed by more crashes.

They ran into the room and were greeted by the sight of a monster.

It was a grotesque being with an unnatural form having a woman's upper body and a lower body that was an amalgamation of a lion and some kind of arachnid. It had four large legs with pawed feet that kept it standing and balanced. There was a tail sticking out of her ass that looked like a snake.

Overall, her upper half didn't look that bad, if you ignored the elongated ears, black eyes with red pupils, dagger like teeth, and that she was shooting acid out of her boobs.

But what truly got their attention was the man fighting the stray, or rather, toying with it.

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!"

The Stray devil chucked a large rock at the man just before he bent his knees and snapped his finger, releasing an orange-red energy that shattered the rock.

"Royal Guard baby!" The man said with a smile on his face as another orange and red flash surrounded him before he pulled out a cowboy hat and put it on, causing a red scarf to appear around his neck.

"Can't touch this." He said as he sidestepped an acid spray from her boobs before seemingly teleporting in the air behind her. He then was surrounded by another orange and red flash before summoning a fucking motorcycle that he used to smack her as its wheels grinded against the side of her head. He then made the motorcycle disappear and replaced it with a metal bow staff that had flames on the end of it and slammed it into the ground. He then spun around on it as fire shot from his feet and kicked her in the face just as she turned around before lifting the staff over his back as fire shot out of the back of it and launched it into her chest, sending her reeling back.

The man then twirled back as he made the staff disappear and resummoned the motorcycle and drove straight into her while doing a micro wheelie. He then made the bike disappear again before he back flipped and summoned two massive chainsaw swords that cut into the ground as he approached her and crossed them over each other as he slammed them into the stray devil. The weapons grinded against her before shooting her through a wall and leaving her upper body all bloody. He made the weapons disappear before he turned around and noticed his audience.

"Well this is awkward. How was the show?" The man smirked as he made his hat disappear.

"Holy shit! That was fucking badass!" Issei shouted with a smile on his face and stars in his eyes while everyone else was speechless.

"R-Redgrave Sensei!?" Rias yelled in surprise at seeing her new teacher clowning on a stray devil.

'Wait a minute, Redgrave-Sensei?' Issei thought before his eyes widened in realization. "Wait, You're the new PE teacher from Hell that Buchou told us about you bastard!" Issei shouted in an angry tone.

Dante grabbed his chest in an exaggerated pose. "Rias, Akeno. How could you say such horrible things about your new teacher. I'm gonna have to make you do the five, ten, fifteen, twenties, three times in a row on Monday."

"Please not that sensei! I'm sorry for calling you that!" Rias frantically said, causing everyone to sweat drop.

Dante looked like he was about to say something when the stray devil jumped out of the hole in the wall behind him and impaled him through the heart with a metal coat rack.

"Sensei!" Akeno and Rias yelled in shock.

"HAHAHA I'm going to enjoy eating him up. Compared to the rest of you devils, his scent is by far the most delectable." She said with an evil smile on her face.

"Stray Devil Vizor, leaving your master's side and rampaging as you please definitely deserves nothing more than death. In the name of Duke Gremory, I will gladly eliminate you!" Rias shouted as she built up energy.

"Y'know I'd appreciate you complimenting my smell better if I wasn't a Ka-Bob." Dante commented. Everyone looked shocked to see that he was fine and was acting super casual as if nothing was wrong. "By the way, Rias, Akeno. Didn't I tell everyone to sleep early and take a hot bath at the end of PE?" Dante asked the two who looked at him with a confused expression.

"DON'T IGNORE ME!" Viser angrily shouted at the demon hunter who turned his head to her with an irritated expression.

"Yeah yeah, just give me a minute." Dante turned his head back to Rias and Akeno. "Even with this thing smelling like hot garbage, I can still tell you didn't do what I told you to do."

Viser was pissed that he just insulted her and decided to lift Dante with the coat rack with the intent to slam him into the ground. But he switched to trickster style and flash equipped Balrog, before teleporting above the Stray Devil and doing a powerful axe kick. He then switched to his sword and held it behind him in a reverse grip as dark red energy started to coat the blade. Dante then swung the blade up and released a slash of energy straight at the stray devil before performing another two swings that sliced her apart.

"Y'know I told her to give me a minute." Dante sighed before turning to the group. "So you guys are devils?" Dante asked as everyone saw the hole in his chest healed as if he wasn't even injured.

"Y-yes." Rias answered as she regained her composure and entered a more serious expression. "You must be the one who has been hunting stray devils in our territory. So tell me, who are you and what faction are you affiliated with?"

"I'm the ultimate badass demon hunter, Dante Redgrave. As for what faction I'm affiliated with, the answer is myself." Dante answered with pride.

Rias was a little taken aback by his answer. 'Demon hunter? What species is he? He certainly can't be human.'

Dante had decided to start leaving when Koneko jumped in front of him to stop him.

"Rias wasn't finished asking questions." She practically ordered him with her deadpan expression.

"Sorry kiddo but I've got places to be." Dante told her as he tried walking around her only for her to cut him off and causing Dante to sigh. "Look kid, I'm not going to give you any more details, just know I'm not your enemy." Dante then used trickster style to teleport behind her and started walking off before catching a kick from Koneko and throwing her across the room and continued making his way to the exit. where he summoned Cavilire and rode off.

"Koneko are you okay?" Kiba asked as he ran up to her.

"I'm fine. He's much stronger than he looks."

"What do you think?" Akeno asked Rias.

"I think we should try and keep an eye on him for now." Rias sighed "A shame we didn't get to show Issei what a Devils' battle is like."

"At least I got to see what a badass' battle is like!" Issei said happily.

"Well in any case, It's over everyone," Rias smiled, "Let's go back and have some tea."

Everyone started to leave the mansion. There wasn't any reason to stay in the dump of a mansion. And no one wanted to continue smelling all the blood that Viser left in the house.

"Koneko, can you come here for a moment?" Rias said to her Rook.

"Sure thing, what do you need?" She asked.

"Can you keep an eye on Redgrave-Sensei for me?" Rias asked.

"Sure, it won't be too hard to follow his strange smell." She stated as she ran off to follow his trail.

"Issei once we get back I will explain how the evil piece system fully works once we get back." Rias told the newest servant.

"Ok" he answered

As the group began walking away, a mysterious figure emerged from behind the mansion.

"So this is where you've been Dante. It would seem that white cat has taken an interest in you. I look forward to our next meeting." The figure said before turning away from the mansion while unsheathing a Katana and performing two slashes in the air that opened up into a portal before sheathing his sword. "Until then Dante, I have someone I need to train." He entered the portal before it closed behind him.

In the distance Dante stops for a moment and looks back after feeling something.

"Vergil?" He mumbled to himself before shaking his head. "Could've sworn I felt my dumbass brother for a moment." He sighed before getting back on Cavilire, "probably nothing, he would've shown his face by now." He said to himself before riding off.

Unbeknownst to him Koneko had listened to what he said. 'He has a brother? Could he be like me?' She thought before continuing to follow him.

AN: And so Dante has been officially introduced and has already made an impression on the main characters, especially with Issei and Koneko.

I decided to have the first encounter with Dante after he was turned into a Devil and met Asia for two reasons. First, it was so that the general series of events that happened in canon, still happen and second, I wanted Rias and the gang to walk in on Dante demolishing a stray devil.

I got the idea for the 5, 10, 15, 20 exercise, from when I took Tae Kwon Do and had to do special classes known as blackbelt camp for the ten weeks leading up to blackbelt testing. One of those weeks we had to do that exercise and we had to do it again during blackbelt testing.
