Chapter 55: Vicious Battles
Western Upper Yard;
Yasui winced as he dodged a high kick from Saishi, his left arm throbbing wickedly. Buelle had told Yasui about the consequences of using a Reject Dial but he had grossly underestimated it.
"You went and wasted your trump card you idiot!" Saishi roared as he lunged and swung his arms down.
Yasui ducked beneath the swing and struck Saishi in the chest with a heavy blow. He skipped back and stared at Saishi.
Saishi grinned and pointed his finger at Yasui, "Reject Dials are rare and should never be used at the start of a battle. Ka ka ka ka!"
Yasui sighed, the man was right. He turned his feet into wheels and zoomed at Saishi. They exchanged blows and Saishi smacked Yasui in the head with a heavy punch that sent him reeling back.
Saishi aimed an Ax Dial and blasted a 'X' shaped wind blade at Yasui. As he reeled back, Yasui leapt in the air and spun around, dodging the blade of wind.
The two exchanged heavy blows and Yasui sent a savage kick flying up into Saishi's chin! Saishi lifted off the ground and Yasui kicked him in the chest and stomach with a barrage of powerful blows.
Saishi spun through the air and crashed into the ground as Yasui panted. Saishi stood up slowly and smiled as he patted dirt off his shoulders.
"Ka ka ka! It's time to crush you." Saishi dashed forward.
Yasui sped forward and clashed with Saishi, the two of them exchanging a flurry of savage attacks. They leapt around quickly as they fought and moved closer to the border of the Namekian town.
Southern Upper Yard;
Bulma sent a gust of wind that redirected the blast from Fowler's Flame Dial as they dashed around the clearing. Fowler skipped forward and sent a high kick that Bulma dodged. She twirled her baton and shot a flurry of clouds from either end.
Soldiers and warriors fought all around as Bulma shot clouds around and dodged the Captain's attacks. She hurled Thunderballs into the air and they attached to the surrounding clouds, morphing them into storm clouds.
"Thunderstorm!" Bulma waved her baton and the storm clouds shot bolts of lightning down at the surrounding soldiers. She smiled and dashed at Fowler as he grabbed his belt for a Dial.
Bulma skipped forward and sent a blast of wind that Fowler absorbed into an Impact Dial. Fowler struck Bulma in the chin with a solid punch and sent her reeling back. She steadied herself and lobbed a Thunderball that Fowler dodged as he leapt around.
Fowler propelled himself forward with his boots and slammed his Impact Dial at Bulma. She blocked the blow with her recently modified Climate Baton and absorbed the impact into one end!
"What?!" Fowler exclaimed and Bulma twirled her baton and blasted him back with a powerful force of wind.
"I fully understand how my Climate Baton functions now." Bulma said as she stared down Fowler. "I disassembled it and discovered that it's powered by Dial Technology. I was easily able to add more to it."
Nail came staggering toward Bulma and stood beside her as Fowler cracked his neck. "Are you alright?" Nail asked her.
Bulma nodded and said, "I can take this guy down. Help the other warriors, Nail."
Nail smiled and said, "I'll see you when we've won." He dashed away and leapt into the surrounding battle.
"You're a cocky little bitch." Fowler spat in Bulma's direction.
"I'm literally the best." Bulma said and grinned.
Fowler dashed forward and Bulma blasted him back with a gust of wind. The Captain stumbled back and blasted a Thunder Dial at Bulma, she deflected the bolt with her baton and skipped forward.
Bulma dodged Fowler's swift punches and kicks as they leapt around and she threw Thunderballs all around. Fowler dodged the Thunderballs as they flew out and floated slowly into the air.
Captain Fowler aimed his Thunder Dial and the moment he blasted the bolt of lightning from it, the twenty Thunderballs in the air were attracted to the Dial and slammed into him!
Fowler was electrocuted wickedly and he screamed as Bulma aimed her baton and hurled a final Thunderball that exploded into a giant static sphere, "Overload!"
Nefeltari Bulma Vs. Captain Fowler.
Winner: Bulma!
Bulma panted heavily as Fowler slumped to the ground and laid motionless. Explosions and screams echoed all around as the warriors and soldiers clashed savagely. She looked around and charged back into the battle.
Saishi slammed his fist into Yasui's head and kicked him in the side. Yasui leapt back to dodge another strike and he slammed a kick into Saishi's right knee. They exchanged another mad flurry of blows as they moved around the border of the town and Yasui struck Saishi in the stomach with a savage kick.
"Ka!" Saishi slammed both of his fists down on top of Yasui's head and kneed him in the chin! Yasui stumbled back and gasped as he stumbled back several steps. "Ka ka ka ka, die!" He aimed an Ax Dial and blasted a wind blade at Yasui.
Yasui dodged to his left and was slashed across his right side as he zoomed forward. He ducked beneath a punch and spun around rapidly, slamming a savage kick into Saishi's chest.
"That's never going to work!" Saishi shouted and struck Yasui in the cheek with a heavy punch.
Yasui skipped back and wiped blood from his mouth. He panted and cracked his neck as he desperately thought of a plan. He grinned and chuckled as an idea came to him.
"Did I hit your head too hard? Ka ka ka ka!" Saishi guffawed.
"I haven't done this in a long time…" Yasui smiled and morphed his entire body into a large wheel!
"What the?!"
Yasui zoomed forward and Saishi dodged to his right as he blasted an Ax Dial at him. Yasui sped around the wind blade and skipped up at Saishi's head, the large man ducked and barely evaded the strike.
Saishi blasted another wind blade that Yasui sped around as he zoomed faster and faster. Yasui rapidly moved around and turned swiftly, launching himself forward and slamming into Siashi's chest, "Wheel-Wheel Hammer!"
"Gagh!" Saishi's lungs burst and he coughed up blood as he was sent flying back. He crashed into a tree and skipped across the ground nine times before coming to a stop and lying motionless.
Yasui Vs. Saishi.
Winner: Yasui!
Yasui reverted back to normal and stumbled around as an intense wave of dizziness crashed over him. He steadied himself and took several deep breaths as he looked around. He could see warriors and soldiers clashing all around but he couldn't spot Renji or his opponent.
"Where should I go..?"
Northern Upper Yard;
Mugen and Kita clashed blades swiftly as they dashed around the jungle. Kita elongated his black iron blade and cleaved several trees in two as he swung it. Mugen skipped over the attack and dropped down with a mighty downward slash.
They clashed again and Kita's weapon reformed into an ax as he retracted it. Mugen ducked beneath a wide swing and he spun around on the ground in breakdancing fashion as he slashed the Priest's right leg.
Kita spun and slammed his right foot into Mugen's side, knocking him off balance. As Kita swung his ax downward, Mugen held his sword above his head and blocked the strike!
A layer of ice formed around Fantoma as a cold mist spewed from the blade, "Chill of the Grave!" Mugen swung his sword and hurled a wave of ice that Kita barely dodged.
Kita skipped to his right as the wave of ice engulfed surrounding trees and Mugen Shaved after him. They clashed blades again and Kita felt the unnatural cold that was released from Mugen's sword as they battled.
They skipped away from each other and Kita's weapon reformed into a sword. Mugen grinned and spun his sword around in his hand, "This is good practice for me."
Kita scoffed and said, "You wield a strange weapon but that isn't enough to kill me."
Mugen breathed deeply and swung his sword as he hurled a giant wave of ice at Kita. The ice wave shattered suddenly and the growing black iron blade zipped at Mugen and slashed his left shoulder.
Mugen gritted his teeth and leapt to his right as chunks of ice fell all around him. He ducked down as Kita swung his elongated blade around and cleaved dozens of trees with his swing.
Mugen dashed forward and lunged at Kita as he retracted his blade and they clashed savagely as the trees began falling one by one. Mugen leapt up and twisted himself around as he slashed into Kita's left shoulder, "Iron Reaper Soul Stealer!"
Kita laughed as Mugen landed on his feet and the two turned to stare each other down. The Priest cracked his neck and grinned, "You've got a lot of tricks up your sleeve, eh? So do I."
Mugen raised an eyebrow and watched as Kita sent a flying slash speeding at him. As Mugen deflected the attack, Kita skipped forward and the two of them clashed blades again. Kita kneed Mugen in the gut and slashed him across the chest as he stumbled back.
Kita pulled a second hilt from a pouch on his belt and a blade of gold clouds formed from a strange black Dial attached to it. He spun his black and gold blades around and grinned as Mugen cracked his neck.
"Two swords, huh?" Mugen spun his sword in his hand and hurled a Getsuga Tensho that Kita deflected with his black iron blade.
Kita skipped forward, swinging his golden blade and a sharp arc of electricity flew at Mugen, slicing his side and electrocuting him on impact!
Northeast Upper Yard;
Shuhei slammed a kick into Azuma's chest and they exchanged a mad flurry of blows. Azuma swung his scepter and blasted a bolt of lightning that Shuhei avoided swiftly. They leapt around as explosions sounded off from the west.
Azuma aimed his scepter and fired a massive blast of lightning that shot through Shuhei's Afterimage! Shuhei appeared suddenly behind the Priest and slammed a savage kick into the back of his head!
With a slow and silent cadence of steps, Shuhei moved slowly in a circle around Azuma as a trail of Afterimages walked behind and in front of him. Azuma looked around at the ring of Afterimages and aimed his scepter around.
Shuhei Shaved suddenly and Azuma sensed the attack with Mantra and quickly evaded it. Azuma lunged forward and jabbed Shuhei with his scepter and zapped him wickedly. Shuhei gritted his teeth as he was shocked and Azuma struck him in the chin with a heavy blow.
"You shitty brat! You think you're so sneaky." Azuma laughed and cracked his neck, "I've just gotta remain calm and my Mantra will help me avoid your attacks."
"Mantra?" Shuhei raised an eyebrow as he steadied himself.
Azuma skipped forward and collided with Shuhei as they exchanged wicked blows. Shuhei jabbed Azuma in the side with two Finger Pistols and the Priest kicked him back. They lunged at each other and Azuma struck Shuhei in the side of the head with his scepter.
As he stumbled to his right, Shuhei ducked beneath a bolt of lightning and he sent a Tempest Kick flying at Azuma. The Priest deflected the attack with his scepter and skipped forward. They exchanged blows again and Shuhei struck a savage kick into Azuma's gut.
"Ha!" Shuhei lunged forward as a black sheen covered his hand and he thrust a series of Finger Pistols that riddled Azuma's chest and gut!
Blood spurted and sprayed from Azuma as Shuhei pierced him with two dozen jabs and the Priest staggered back. Shuhei stared in disbelief at his hand as the sheen faded away and blood dripped from his fingertips.
"...You shitty… brat!" Azuma coughed blood and aimed his scepter at Shuhei.
Shuhei Shaved forward and clawed Azuma's heart from his chest! The Priest staggered around and hit the ground as his still beating heart thumped in Shuhei's hand.

Winner: Shuhei!
Shuhei dropped the heart on Azuma's back and walked slowly away from his corpse. He wiped the blood from his hand onto his pants and ran west through the jungle.
Northwest Upper Yard;
Renji ducked under a blast of fire and swung his staff down at Minami. She skipped to her left to dodge and fired an Ax Dial at Renji. He spun between the wind blades and smacked Minami in the top of the head with his Power Pole.
They exchanged a rapid flurry of blows and Minami blasted Renji in the stomach with an Impact Dial. He was blasted back and coughed up blood as Minami aimed her Thunder Dial and blasted a beam of lightning at him.
Renji Shaved around and shot Flying Finger Pistols that Minami evaded by propelling herself up into the air. She aimed a Jet Dial and a Flame Dial and blasted them together as a moch Burn Bazooka.
The beam of fire struck the ground and exploded wickedly as Renji leapt around and hurled chains that wrapped around Minami's left ankle. He yanked her down and struck her in the side with a swift kick that sent her crashing into the ground.
Minami rolled over and shot Renji with a beam of lightning that electrocuted him wickedly. Renji gritted his teeth as his muscles locked up and Minami stabbed him in the chest with a dagger.
"Gah!" Renji grabbed her by the throat and slammed her back down on the ground. He Shaved away from Minami and grabbed his chest as blood ran between his fingers.
Minami slowly got up and glared at Renji, "Just die already!"
"You have to kill me first." Renji grinned.
Minami dashed forward and Renji hurled chains that she quickly evaded. She aimed Dials at Renji and he Shaved behind her suddenly. He manipulated his chains to swing around and wrap themselves around her legs as he lunged forward and blasted Minami in the back with the Six King Pistol!
The savage blast of force crushed Minami's internal organs and she vomited blood as he slumped down to the ground.
Kurta Renji Vs. Minami of the Four Priests.
Winner: Renji!
Renji bent down and took all of Minami's Dials from her belts and stuffed them into his bag. He sensed around and felt voices disappearing all around Upper Yard as the war raged on. After a few moments, Renji located the others and took off running in an easterly direction.
Central Upper Yard;
Cloud balls erupted all around and projectiles were sent raining down on the ruined city. Zika skipped forward and slammed a heavy kick into Nishi's stomach and knocked him back.
"Oh ho ho ho ho!" Nishi waved his arms and sent a flurry of cloud balls flying at Zika and Hama.
They dashed forward and leapt between the balls as they lunged at Nishi. The Priest propelled himself upward with his boots as the balls collided with each other and exploded violently. Flames and projectiles blasted into Zika and Hama and sent them flying forward.
Nishi zoomed down through the air and slammed into Zika's back as he laid prone! Zika gasped upon impact and Hama slammed into Nishi with a Single Fang Strike.
"Oh ho ho ho!" Nishi bounced around and dodged Hama as he lunged forward. The Priest spun around and kicked Hama in the side and sent him skipping across the ground.
Zika leapt up and sent a barrage of furious punches as he struck Nishi with his Wolf Fang Fist. Nishi was knocked back hard and Zika skipped after him. They exchanged blows and Zika struck Nishi in the forehead with a heavy blow.
Nishi bounced back and waved his arms as more cloud balls appeared around him. Calgara appeared and blasted the clouds upward with a blast from a Jet Dial. Zika and Hama dashed forward as the clouds were blown up into the air and slammed into Nishi with their Fang over Fang!

Winner: Zika and Hama!
Nishi crashed into a ruined structure and laid still as he hit the ground. Zika panted and Hama barked as their fight came to an end. The Shandian Warriors had pushed the soldiers back and defeated a good chunk of their numbers at the ruined city.
Powerful wind currents began to shake the trees around the ruined city and Calgara gritted his teeth. Hama began barking as God Gin flew through the air and came to a stop above the large pyramid.
"Who the hell is that?" Zika asked as he kept his eyes on the flying man.
"That's Gin, the False God!" Calgara shouted.
