A Sweet Conclusion
Humming softly to himself as he made his way back to where Nana-chan and her amusing friend waited for him, Hisashi raised an eyebrow as he sensed the approach of Toshi-kun to their little group. Toshi-kun had been in training for quite some time – truly, the boy reminded him of Yuuichiro in more than a few ways – and it seemed as though he'd been patrolling the surrounding city while he, Nana-chan, and her amusing friend had been breaking the back of the Yakuza that had previously been haunting Japan as a whole.
It was all rather adorable, truly.
Making his way over to Nana-chan, who was speaking to one of the officers that she'd made most frequent contact within the force, Hisashi took out one of the chocolate donuts that he had purchased for himself after that troublesome battle had finally concluded. Leaning slightly against Nana-chan's right shoulder, Hisashi smiled as he began eating.
"Hisashi," Nana-chan admonished, actually moving to take his bag of donuts. "No desserts before dinner," she continued, looking as though she was trying rather hard not to smile.
"Nana-chan," he said, leaning his head against hers; even though he had been effectively forbidden from kissing her, after the current latest carrier of the Quirk that he and Shiro had created together, there were still ways that he could try to persuade her to soften.
"No, Hisashi," Nana-chan responded, though she was clearly having some added difficulty holding back her laughter. "We can go have lunch after we meet up with Toshinori, but I don't want to be dealing with you when you're on a sugar high," Nana-chan said, turning back to him with a fondly exasperated look on her face.
Sighing, Hisashi made a quick grab for his bag of donuts as soon as Nana-chan had relaxed her hold. However, it seemed as though Nana-chan had been prepared for just such a thing, considering the way she leaped to the other side of the street the pair of them had been walking alongside, and then set off again. Laughing under his breath, as Nana-chan levitated up to the rooftops and he followed her in the chase, Hisashi called up a small shield over his head.
He'd always disliked the feel of wind getting in his eyes, ever since he'd dedicated himself to training the various flying Quirks that he'd acquired during the course of his life.
Leveling out near the rooflines of the buildings that Nana-chan had fled to in an effort to keep him from taking the donuts he'd bought for himself back, Hisashi laughed to himself as he spotted her.

Spotting Hisashi climbing up into the air to meet her, Nana rolled her eyes. If there was one thing that would draw Hisashi's attention – other than threatening the people he cared about, which had almost ended fatally on more than a few occasions – it was trying to take the sweets he always seemed to want to be eating. Still, if the pair of them were going to be able to set any kind of good example for Kotaro and Toshinori, she was going to have to have to knock some kind of healthy eating habits into the man's head.
Sometimes, she wondered how many of En-sensei's predecessors had tried just this kind of thing, but then none of them seemed to be trying to raise something like a family with him.
Keeping an eye out for Hisashi, since he was just the kind of person who'd try to sneak up on her while she was looking around for where the man might have been, Nana caught sight of a fast-moving form out of the corner of her right eye. Smiling wider as she flew over to the figure and found that it was Toshinori, she tossed the bag to him with a wink.
"Dad's been trying to cheat before dinner, huh?" Toshinori asked, grinning as he took the bag and dashed off across the rooftops before Hisashi could spot him.
Chuckling, Nana shook her head as Hisashi caught sight of her, giving chase the way he always did. Laughing as she pulled away from him, Nana flew away quickly. Hisashi would be expecting her to try to keep away from him, and sometimes it was best to just go along with what the man expected. Especially when you wanted him not to notice something else you were doing.
Dodging around Hisashi as her old friend teleported in front of her, Nana laughed as she found herself confronted by Hisashi again.
"Now Nana-chan, you aren't trying to keep my donuts for yourself, are you?" Hisashi asked, a chiding tone to his voice, even as he kept grinning at her in that way he always did.
"You know we have to set a good example for Kotaro," she said, grinning back at the man who had been such a good, if troublesome, friend to her and all of those who had carried One For All in their turn.
"Ah, so you sent them off with Toshi-chan, then," Hisashi said, wide, amused grin stretching his face again. "That makes things simpler."
"Hisashi!" she called, as her old friend darted off, his path clearly aimed to intercept Toshinori wherever he was headed.
Grinning, Nana shook her head and followed quickly in his wake.

The sight of Shigaraki-san, flying towards him, silhouetted by the sun just as it began to sink westward at the end of the day, prompted Toshinori to laugh as he dodged out of the way of the man's sudden grab. "Sorry, Dad," he called, laughing as he dodged out of the way again. "Mom says you shouldn't have dessert before you've had some actual food!"
He'd managed to find a sandwich shop before Shigaraki-san had caught up to him, so as he dodged another lunge, Toshinori tossed the bag at him and landed neatly back on his feet.
Shigaraki-san naturally caught the bag without any trouble, looking inside and then turning back to him with that wide, cheerfully mischievous smile that Toshinori had seen so many times on the older man's face on so many previous occasions.
"You can eat those, then I think Mom would be okay with you getting your donuts back," he said, grinning as Shigaraki-san tucked the bag with his two chicken sandwiches into the crook of his left arm, then eeping as he found Shigaraki-san right up in his face.
"You are a terribly cheeky young man, Toshinori."
"Oi! Oi! Dad!" he exclaimed, as Shigaraki-san pulled his right cheek.
Rubbing his abused cheek as Shigaraki-san turned and vanished into the distance, cheerful laughter trailing behind him, Toshinori shook his head. He was starting to think that Kotaro had had the right idea, staying back home so he could do his homework in peace. Still, he wasn't the one in training with Nana-sensei, and Toshinori was still determined to be the kind of Hero that Nana-sensei had always been to him.
He'd need more than homework and class time, for that.
That was why he was working with Nana-sensei, and why he'd offered to come with her on patrol today. Nana-sensei had been receiving more than a few offers of a teaching position at U.A., and once they'd realized how close he was to her, they'd even gone so far as to offer him a scholarship to the Hero Academy. He had the feeling that Nana-sensei was going to accept soon, and as the pair of them met up again, Toshinori smiled.
He was probably going to end up accepting soon, himself.
