The traveler receives a call from a samurai.

Yes, hello? Byleth Eisner speaking.
Oh, hello, Seteth! What tasks do you have for me today?

Huh? Recycling the same joke? I would never! That's just lazy writing.
Heh heh!
But anyways, hello Kazuha! I'm assuming this is Kazuha, right?
Not to be confused with Kazuya, who came to Smash Bros around the same time.
Okay, I'll stop, haha! But for reals, you're Kazuha, yeah?

Oh, cool! Yeah, Beidou told me all about you! Can you really shoot flowers out of your mouth?! If so, can you teach me? That's so cool.
Well, I mean, metaphorically speaking, I wouldn't mind improving my poetry. Who knows, maybe it might get the attention of the ladies, eh?

You can't see me, but I'm raising my eyebrows and winking to the camera.

But imagine if you could shoot flowers from your mouth, literally. That would be like… breathing fire, except the fire is flowers instead!
I can think of a few people who would be amused by that.

So, what tips do you have for someone who wants to improve at poetry?
Like… could you possibly give me a little demonstration?

No? Aw, man!
I mean, honestly, that's understandable. I mean, comedy can be difficult to come up with on the spot, so I can believe poetry would have a similar difficulty behind it.
So, what do you typically do?

Speak from the heart?
Hmm… let's see...

"Speak from the heart, eh?
It doesn't seem too hard, yeah?
Haikus are quite fun."

How was that?
Heh heh. You know, you're right. Poetry is honestly pretty difficult to make up on the spot.
What do you like to do to seek inspiration?
I mean, say, for a completely hypothetical example, I was trying to woo a lady. If I wanted to come up with a really sweet haiku for her, what would you suggest I do?
I mean, I want to compose a work of art for her, but I also would kinda feel bad if the poem was obviously about her and describing her and everything. I like a little mystery, you know?

Woah, really? This ain't your first rodeo?
Ooh, Kazuha! You're quite the charmer, eh? Haha!
Sounds like you got a special someone too, then, hmm?

I'm not going to pry, I promise. But I graduated from the MiHoYo's School of Wingmanning, in case you ever need to call in some backup.
But since you've had some experience with your mystery girl, what kinds of tips do you have?

I mean, I can give you the general idea of the person I want to write to.
Let's see…
She's very peaceful.
Think… think of a fluffy cloud. With a gentle breeze carrying it across the sky…
And then the breeze brings it to rest in the mountaintops by a patch of Qingxin flowers….
She has a very calming gentle aura about her.

Hmm…
You're saying I should use the cloud metaphor?
Okay, let's see how this goes…
For line one, how about we go with…

"Clouds glide above the sky-"

Wait, that's six syllables, not five…
Haikus are hard, man!

"Clouds glide…"
Uh…
Mountain...

Wait, hold up.
What if I changed it slightly and made it the second line?

"Clouds glide above mountaintops."

That's seven syllables right there. I just need to come up with something for the first line…
And I'll save the Qingxin flowers for the last line.
Maybe the first line can set the scene by describing the air? Or the breeze?

"Cool breeze fills the air.
Clouds glide above mountaintops.
Rest among Qingxin."

I'm having trouble deciding the wording of the last line.
Either I keep "rest among Qingxin" as a sort of invitation to relaxation…
Or I could say "Qingxin sway in wind…"

Mm…
Yeah, you're right, I like the original wording better.

I think she's going to like it.
At least, I sure hope so!
Maybe I'll send her a little card with the haiku written on it?

Either way, thank you so much for your help, Kazuha.
I really do appreciate it.
And hey, my offer still stands; if you ever need a wingman, I got you, bro!
You'll give me a hint?
Heh heh! Aight, so she enjoys the sea?
I'm sure you've been able to come up with many a haiku for her.

Well, I won't take up much more of your time.
I really appreciate the spontaneous lesson, and I'll let you get back to your duties now.
It was really nice to speak with you, Kazuha! I look forward to meeting you again!
