Chapter 57: Captain's Duty
"Hm..? Are you the real leader?" God Gin called down as he hovered in the air.
"I am Senju D. Asuka, Captain of the Misfits! You've messed up my crew it seems and it's the Captain's Duty to protect their friends!" Asuka grinned as he walked slowly toward Gin.
Gin aimed his right hand at Asuka and sent a blast of wind speeding down at him. Asuka Shaved away from the blast and sprang into the air as he unleashed a flurry of heavy punches that God Gin quickly blocked.
With a wave of his hand, Gin sent Asuka flying back and the Flying Nimbus caught him. Asuka smiled and zoomed at Gin, they clashed in the air and exchanged savage blows as they flew around.
Asuka slammed a solid punch into Gin's chest and kicked him in the side as they collided. Gin aimed a blast of wind at the nimbus but Asuka flew up to avoid the attack. Asuka stood on the nimbus and was unable to use his Devil Fruit due to being in the air.
He directed the nimbus after Gin and they zoomed around the sky. Asuka leapt from the nimbus and Gin blasted him back with a gust of wind. Asuka landed on the nimbus and continued after Gin as he flew around over the ruined city.
Gin spun around in the air and hit both Asuka and the Flying Nimbus with a powerful blast of wind. Asuka was sent flying back as the nimbus blew apart and Gin zoomed through the air after him. Asuka flipped through the air and Gin struck him in the chest with a Tornado Fist!
Gin laughed as Asuka crashed into the ground and laid still for a moment. He leapt up to his feet and hurled a Chop-Chop Rocket that Gin deflected with a gust of wind. Asuka controlled his arm and flung it back at Gin, striking him in the chin and sending him flipping through the air.
Asuka yanked his arm back to himself and charged across the ground after God Gin. He sprang into the air and exchanged a wicked flurry of blows with Gin. As they clashed, Gin kicked Asuka in the gut and sent him flying with a blast of wind.
Calgara and Puck dragged Zika and Hama to the other side of the pyramid where Barnum stood beside the unconscious God Farin. They looked around at Asuka and Gin as they battled and at the others who began to stir.
Renji, Shuhei and Mugen slowly got up and made their way toward the pyramid. Shuhei walked over to Yasui as Mugen dashed in the opposite direction. Renji and Shuhei brought Yasui over to Puck and Calgara, laying him next to Zika.
A few moments later, Mugen met up with the group of them with Bulma in his arms. He laid her on the ground and cracked his neck.
"They're all still breathing." Puck said slowly.
"Calgara, Puck. Take care of these guys. We need to be there for Asuka if he needs any backup." Mugen said firmly.
Puck and Calgara nodded and Shuhei grabbed the Reject Dial from Yasui. Shuhei, Renji and Mugen dashed away from the pyramid and followed after Gin and Asuka as their fight led them out of the ruined city.
God Gin blasted through trees with a powerful gale of wind as Asuka Shaved around the jungle. Asuka felt two simultaneous pops in his head as waves of calm and strength rushed throughout him.
Asuka jumped up and leapt between trees as he rushed at Gin. Gin waved his left arm and struck Asuka back with a blast of wind, slamming him into a tree. When Asuka landed on the ground, he detached his feet from his legs and flew through the air.
The two of them slammed into each other and exchanged a flurry of savage blows. Gin blasted Asuka back and he hurled a Chop-Chop Rocket that struck Gin in the chest.
Asuka yanked his arm back and hovered in the air. He grinned and said, "I can feel your moves before you make them."
"You can fly? And you've awakened Mantra?!" God Gin glared at Asuka as the two of them hovered in the air.
"Mantra? Is that what you call Haki?"
God Gin blasted a powerful gale of wind that Asuka evaded by flying higher up into the air. He hurled two Chop-Chop Rockets that sped after Gin as he flew around. Asuka controlled his arms as Gin sped at him.
Asuka ducked under a kick from Gin and was sent flying downward with a blast of wind. Gin flew up and blasted Asuka's arms away as they neared him. God Gin flew down at Asuka as he reattached his arms and flew upward.
They collided in the air and Gin slammed a Tornado Fist into Asuka's head! Asuka crashed into the ground and Gin slammed a blast of wind down on him.
"Hm?" God Gin looked over his shoulder as he sensed two voices following after him and Asuka.
Asuka flew up into the air and hurled a Chop-Chop Rocket that struck Gin in the chin. He yanked his arm back as he sped at Gin and they exchanged another flurry of blows. Asuka barraged powerful punches into Gin's chest and was sent flying back by a gust of wind.
Gin sped after Asuka and lunged forward with a Tornado Fist. Asuka spun around in the air and avoided the attack as he slammed a Chop-Chop Rocket into Gin's left side! Gin swirled around rapidly and conjured a tornado in the air as Asuka yanked his arm back.
The twister caught hold of Asuka and sent him smashing through a tree and into the ground. Asuka leapt up and reattached his legs to his feet and cracked his neck. God Gin waved his arms and hurled the twister down at Asuka as it expanded greatly.
Asuka leapt back as the twister erupted and the shockwave of wind sent him flying through the jungle..! Gin flew around and sent blasts of wind down at the two he had sensed earlier.
Mugen and Shuhei erupted from behind trees and Shaved around as the wind blasts ravaged the ground. Gin sent a flurry of wind blades that Mugen deflected with his sword as Shuhei leapt into the air.
Shuhei and Gin exchanged a quick flurry of blows and Shuhei lunged forward with the Reject Dial. Gin slammed a powerful blast of wind into Shuhei's chest and sent him flipping through the air.
Mugen hurled a Getsuga Tensho that Gin evaded as he sped after Shuhei. Gin struck Shuhei in the side with a savage kick and sent him crashing into the ground. The Reject Dial flipped through the air and Gin caught it as he hovered in the air.
God Gin sensed Mugen as he sprang into the air and swung his blade upward. Gin spun around and created a spinning ball of wind that deflected Mugen's sword and sent him flying through the air.
Mugen landed feet first on a tree and leapt back at Gin as he sent a wave of flames from his blade. Gin collided a wave of wind with the flames and dispersed them as Mugen flew forward and swung his blade horizontally at Gin's head!
Gin backflipped in the air to dodge the attack and slammed a swift kick into the side of Mugen's head. Mugen flipped through the air and crashed into a tree before dropping to the ground below.
Asuka dashed through the jungle and leapt between trees as he sprung up into the air at God Gin. Gin caught Asuka's fist as he lunged forward and he slammed the Reject Dial into his chest, "Reject!"
The impact blasted Asuka savagely and sent him flying through the jungle for the last time… Gin shook his right arm and dropped the Reject Dial as the kick from the Dial tingled up to his shoulder. He grinned and flew west toward the Namekian town.
God Farin sat up slowly as Puck and Calgara tended to everyone's wounds. He looked around slowly and Barnum neighed happily.
"God Farin!" Puck exclaimed.
Farin raised his hand, "I'm fine, calm yourself."
"Are you going back into battle?" Calgara asked.
God Farin shook his head and chuckled, "The kids have got this one."
God Gin sped through the air and sensed an incoming attack too late as Renji slammed his Power Pole into Gin's side! Gin flipped through the air and hovered in place as he looked around and spotted Renji down on the ground.
Renji grinned as his staff returned to normal and he twirled it around, "How sloppy, you didn't sense me at all!"
Gin furrowed his brow and sent a massive blast of wind down at Renji as he suddenly propelled himself forward and dodged the attack. "I borrowed these boots from your thugs!" Renji propelled himself around and hurled pointed chains at Gin.
God Gin spun rapidly and deflected the chains with a spherical twister as Renji sped at him. Renji flipped around and sent two Tempest Kicks flying at Gin as he spun around and flew higher up into the air.
Renji flew up after him and swung his staff as he hurled more chains. Gin deflected the chains with a wind blast and evaded the staff. They collided in the air and exchanged a flurry of blows as they sped around.
"Asuka, get up. You have to get up!" The woman's voice rang throughout his mind.
Asuka opened his eyes and sat up quickly as intense pain throbbed through his chest. He winced as he sprang up to his feet and popped his back. The Flying Nimbus came speeding through the sky and descended down to the jungle floor.
Asuka grinned and hopped onto the nimbus, "Let's go!"
The nimbus sped west through the jungle and ascended above the treetops as it went. Asuka closed his eyes and felt Mugen, Shuhei and Renji beaten down in the jungle below… He could feel God Gin speeding west toward an immeasurable presence.
He sped closer and closer toward the tall bronze tower around the Namekian town and spotted Gin hovering beside the tower.
"Namekian Lord, give me the Dragon Balls!" God Gin shouted at the tower.
"You can't use the Dragon Balls for another six months!" Asuka shouted at Gin as he flew closer on the Flying Nimbus.
"You?!" Gin glared at Asuka and sent a blast of wind at him.
Asuka evaded the blast and Shaved off of the nimbus, he appeared beside Gin and slammed a furious punch into his sternum! Gin slammed into the side of the tower and he blasted Asuka upward with a gale of wind.
The Flying Nimbus caught Asuka and carried him to the roof of the tower as God Gin flew after him. Asuka leapt down to the roof and detached his feet from his legs. He flew up as Gin sped down at him and they clashed in the air!
Gin swung a Tornado Fist downward and Asuka caught his fist as he slammed his own punch into Gin's face. They exchanged a savage flurry of punches as they flew around and Gin slammed a gale of wind into Asuka's stomach.
Asuka clenched his jaw and sped at Gin as he felt his rage and overall joy for battle ignite in his right fist! The bandages around his right arm burned away as the flames swirled around his forearm, he lunged forward and slammed his Rocket Fist into Gin's chest!
Gin was sent flying back and he skipped across the roof several times before he recovered and flew up into the air. "What are you..?" Gin muttered as he stared down at Asuka and gripped his scorched chest.
Asuka's arm didn't hurt as the flames swirled around it and he grinned as he flew up at Gin. Gin flew downward as he spun his arms around and conjured Twin Tornado Fists! Asuka hurled his left hand forward and grabbed Gin's right fist as he sent his right knee up into Gin's left fist.
Gin was stopped in his tracks as Asuka's pieces halted his attacks and Asuka flew upward and launched his right arm at Gin, "Chop-Chop Rocket Fist!" Asuka's burning fist slammed into God Gin's forehead and sent him flying high into the sky..!
Gin spun and flipped wildly as he flew up and up and began plummeting down toward the tower. Asuka reassembled himself on the roof and grinned as he watched Gin fall downward. Asuka sprang upwards and slammed a flaming right hook into Gin's head as he plummeted and sent him crashing into the roof, denting the shiny bronze tower.
Asuka landed beside the motionless Gin and grinned as he waved his arm and the flames were extinguished. He looked at his arm and noticed it was undamaged and fully healed…
"Well done!" Dende exclaimed as he and Kami approached Asuka.
"Hm..? Aliens?!" Asuka gaped at Kami and Dende.
Kami chuckled and asked, "Who are you, boy?"
"I'm Senju D. Asuka!" Asuka shouted and a wave of fatigue knocked him on his ass. He laid on his back and fell asleep instantly.
Kami smiled at Asuka and said, "Dende, patch up him and his friends."
"Of course!" Dende shouted as he rushed to Asuka and held his hands over him. A shiny white light emanated from his hands as he began to heal Asuka!
Kami walked over to Gin and used Seastone handcuffs to subdue him, "The battle is over..!"
