Where to begin… where to begin.
Heh heh.
I just wanted to thank you all so much for your support!
I never thought the series would come this far!
Y'see, it all started with a tweet…
Back on my birthday, April 15th, I was sitting in Wangshu Inn and enjoying a peach tea while I scrolled through Twitter.
And I noticed a tweet which read, "your last saved anime character is calling you. Do you pick up?"
I thought to myself, "what a coincidence! I just got off the phone with Ganyu a few minutes ago!"
So, naturally, I decided to share the conversation on Twitter-with Ganyu's permission, of course.
It was heartwarming for me, and I wanted to share the happiness with everyone else.
Unfortunately, Twitter's character limit prevented me from posting the entire conversation. So, I decided to utilize to write up and post the conversation.
Initially, it was just a oneshot. But I had a few other lighthearted conversations I wanted to share as well.
And before I knew it, one simple oneshot turned into a phone call series!
I read through each and every comment on the series and absolutely loved what everyone had to say! The most heartwarming thing for me was waking up in the morning, checking my email, and seeing that someone had posted such a wholesome review on my story.
In fact, I even decided to post the story on Archive of Our Own two weeks after the first chapter was posted to .
And now look how far we've come!
On Genshin Impact's 1st Anniversary, the 25th chapter of A Phone Call with an Adeptus has been released!
To me, that's just crazy and I have nothing but love for all y'all!
But my dear friends, the journey does not end here!
I have not forgotten that today happens to be the birthday of our beloved Kamisato Ayaka!
And so, here is my present to you all:
In honor of Genshin Impact's 1st Anniversary and in honor of the 25th chapter of A Phone Call with an Adeptus…
I will be releasing two more chapters after this one!
Today!
Chapter 27 will be Thoma's canon phone call!
And Chapter 28 will be dedicated to the 28th of September. As in, it will be a non-canonical Happy Birthday chapter for Kamisato Ayaka!
Don't worry, my dear friends, I have a canon call for Miss Kamisato coming soon, so stay tuned!
Once again, thank you all so much for your support and for staying with me thus far.
