Chapter Four

Evening...

The Craftsman…

Larry was in the garage with Charlie while Alan was cooking while Don was talking to the agents assigned to protect him and the Eppes family. Alan wasn't happy about the situation, though he knew better than to argue with his eldest when it came to everyone's safety and talked Larry into staying in the guest bedroom until this whole thing was over, as Larry was staying in a small apartment and he was mostly staying over with Megan from time to time and was thinking of making cohabitation with her permanent when this was over.

He was pulled out of his thoughts when Charlie was slightly shaking him, clearly needing to tell him that Don wanted to talk with them.

"What do you wish to speak to us about, Don?" Larry asked, as he and the Eppes family, along with Megan and Colby, gathered in the living room.

"I just wanted to go over safety precautions with you and make sure we get all our bases covered so that we don't forget about any possible security issues." Don said, getting to the point, as he and Robin planned on staying at the house to make things easier and so that Robin could be more relaxed until the situation was over until they have the baby next month and they can focus on the kid.

After going over the details, the agents will go with Charlie and Larry to CalSci and that they would have to reduce their schedule to make things easier. While both of the professors weren't happy with that, they understood the need and decided to talk with the dean and figure out who can take over their classes and when they would be able to resume their normal class times.

Charlie was especially worried about Amita's and their daughter's, five-month-old Maggie, safety and hoped that the precautions would be enough to keep them, Alan, Don's family, and find Leonard and put an end to whatever is going on.

After the talk, Alan went back to the kitchen to continue with the night's meal and was finding it surprisingly easy to do, though given the Russian mob case and the ones that followed, he was finding it easier to deal with this type of situation.

While Amita went to put Maggie to sleep, Don went to have a talk with Robin to discuss what they would do for the time being while Charlie and Larry went back to the garage to go over equations and to arrange a meeting with the dean to discuss their options.

As everyone in the house was going on their business, trying to figure out what do about the situation, two figures were in a truck were watching the activity, waiting to see when would be the best opportunity to get Professor Fleinhardt and take him in for a "lesson" for what he had done all those years ago.

"Fleinhardt is with some friends." One of the figures said on his phone with their boss

"Wait until he is at CalSci, then we make our move." The man on the other line ordered

"Understood." The first man said, as he knew that they just had to be patient.

"We will wait at CalSci tomorrow and then we will make our move." He said to the other man in the car with him.

"Got it." The second man said as he turned on the car and drove away, knowing no matter where they grab Fleindhart, it was not going to be easy.
