Larry and Megan came into the room and they both smiled at the sight of Don having a chat with Robin while he was getting ready to leave.
"Hey, guys how is it going?" Don asked, smiling when he saw his two friends coming into the room
"Doing better than yesterday." Larry said with a sad smile
"Good, I wanted to talk to you about that." Don nodded to his family and friend and they left, knowing that the talk was to be private.
"I know the past couple days have been difficult for you due to the… situation with Philbrick, but I heard that he was going to testify against the businessman in the casino, so you won't have to worry about him ever again when this is over." Don assured his friend
"Thank you, Don, I just wish this did not happen again, as I would have thought even Philbrick would have been smart enough to stay away from those people." Larry said sadly, as he thought of the man's situation
"I know but sometimes, there is nothing you can do for people like Philbrick." Don said as Charlie was coming into the room
"And besides," Charlie started to say, "Whatever happens with Philbrick, you will always have us to come to, no matter what."
"Thank you, Charles, your words always mean so much to me." Larry said with a smile.
"So, with Megan taking charge with the case, want to catch the game when we get back to the Craftsman?" Don asked
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Larry said with a smile, with Charlie concurring.
