Chapter 11: Battle At Lion City
Date: August 28th, 2022
Yappa Yappa replies to Pmurt Nedib with a wide grin: "Yes and I cannot wait to see Swiftdrawer again! I'm going to kill him!" "Our 69th attack on other worlds will succeed! If we have to, I even sent treasure like gold coins with my favorite commander and stockholder to get those gullible ravens to do some of our dirty work! We will be unbeatable once we take all those orbs of chi for ourselves!" "I just want my revenge! Your plans have failed 68 times so far, I won't let them fail a 69th time not when those disgusting furries are obsessed with that number!" "Good! Now you better come back here with Swiftdrawer's corpse and lots of chi orbs! You must go now, most of our troops would be defeated by those Chima tribes if the tribes powered up with the chi. I have also sent a diplomat to find and ally with the spider, bat, and scorpion tribes. The scorpion king must still want to squish the others, right?" A few minutes later, directly after the success of The Illumination that caused the Hunger to have their icy hearts thawed out before they could freeze all of Chima including the floating Mount Cavora. Cragger, the prince of the Crocodile tribe with one eye completely gone, the other probably yellow, light green and yellow skin, red scales that are like his hair, sharp teeth, and a decently buff build says after Laval the Lion prince wondered what was next: "How do we get down from here?" The sound of aircraft unknown to them blares in the distance followed by explosions and some of the aircraft coming for the 8 united leaders of Chima and their new pals. Eris, a white eagle with medium length wings, yellow beak and eyes, and a golden outfit featuring a helm with a blue orb toward the center exclaims: "Nevermind that! Who are they and why are they headed straight for us?" The others look too. Laval has a red mane, blue cape, gold and blue royal outfit, yellow eyes, and pretty standard lion fur colors. He reacts: "Aaaa! What do we do? What do we do? Eris, do you have anything?" "Well, we could call for help."
*Main POV, Miitopia BRAINS base* This wakes me up and I state: "Shit! I don't have time to chill around. *puts on armor and other gear over pajamas* Damn it! So soon after Agram's 4th defeat?" Blaze bolts into my room: "Good morning Blaze! I know what you're here for. I'm in charge of mission pairings for this new week and that whole new emergency alarm just went off." "Yeah! No time to stand around! Come with me! We'll talk on the way to you know where! I already got breakfast there for you!" "Holy crap Blaze, you're serious today! Anyway, I just want to relax. Agh! So many situations lately! Agram and Chur attacking parts of the Moonlands, me and others getting sent to Rune-Midgarts for some reason, scissors and hands causing death and destruction around and on Planet Druidia, and now this? Give me a break!" "You're not the only one who's overwhelmed! We're all exhausted, each of us here has been through situation after situation! I just want some candy! And we have a full day ahead of us again!" We make it to we know where and Dominic is waiting: "Oh hey Adam! Was just keeping the seat warm for you. If you need help with pairing all the team ups involving us, let us know. We will standby to support you because the pressure you're in makes me want a nap." "Thanks both of you! *starts eating the breakfast and begins typing, researching, and communicating* These muffins are fresh, soft, delicious, and easy to eat! I guess emergencies bring out stuff like this sometimes. *drinks the juice*" After a few minutes, I have figured out who to send from our branch to the different missions: "Done! Now all I need to do is send out a team up request to very specific individuals to help me help Chima. I would have picked some of our members to go to Chima but all of you are better suited for other missions. Of course, we also need to await for approval from the others before we can all go our ways on the many missions we have to help take care of. For example, can you look at where I placed you both?"
Dominic looks at the mission to resolve a time incident in Kohnanix with Blaze. They nod and approve of my choosing them: "Okay, now that that's settled, you probably should go there now. I will try to call for more help if it is needed this time with the Chima mission. I almost died in the Moonlands after all." They agree and say goodbye before teleporting off. I send team up requests specifically to Tron who still often goes by Vetrix as a nickname, Ginga, Ryokan/Revolver, Incinerate, Shoto Todoroki, Pharaoh Atemu, and Crow. Then, I summon Regnes: "Hey Regnes, I know there's a crisis that you're supposed to help take care of but can you help me for a minute?" "Of course, what is it?" "Could you find Edyn in the Moonlands and tell her that I'd like her to help us with the emergency Chima mission?" "I will. And will be back once I have an answer for you with or without Edyn." "Thank you so much, this means a lot." As he does that favor for me, I check to see if I have any responses yet. All of them have accepted the mission even though the mission details are mostly info about Chima because we have no idea what's going on there right now. To my surprise, all of them accepted the request and so, I created a group chat for all of us. In it, I type that we should meet in Chima's Fangs. No one objects after I sent over a digital image of a map of Chima. That will come in handy. Anyway, I quickly stop by Melvin's place for some bananas. He isn't home because he accepted my invite to join BRAINS a month back on the condition he goes only on the not dangerous missions. I snag some bananas from his stash before gathering some other stuff up and remembering something: "They have speedors in Chima. Those are much like Duel Runners. I should get my new new runner. Yusei built it for me from scratch a while back in his workshop. I need to stop going through Duel Runners faster than I go through swords."
After a few more minutes, I am ready to go and even drag my Duel Runner into the meeting room where all the mission communications are done. Waiting for me is Regnes with Edyn: "So it looks like you're willing and able to help, Edyn? Fantastic!" She nods: "Tony and Strag promised to find the numbers without me today, It'll be okay, even Orwin is helping. Is our branch of BRAINS ready yet?" "No. Far too many situations to deal with lately. We don't need complicated paperwork to form a branch because we aren't a country or government but there's been so much happening that we just haven't found the time to complete its formation for you." "Oh, sorry for pushing it." "Don't worry about it. Now then, grab onto my arm when I ask you to, I will take the transportation of you to Chima from here. Thank you again, Regnes. Go forth my comrade and defeat the so-called Neo Rare Hunters causing pain and misery at Duel Academia!" He nods before teleporting off once I deactivated my duel disk. I turn to Edyn: "This is the part where you grab my arm. *puts mask and cloak on* Time to touch my runner too. We're probably going to need it to earn the trust of the young leaders of Chima." Not even 10 seconds later, we are in the Fangs with the others. Introductions are made quickly and Revolver says: "I really don't like the Ignis being back or you supporting it, Swiftdrawer but whoever is attacking this world may come for Link VRAINS and I cannot allow that as a member of the Knights Of Hanoi." "In any case, I appreciate you accepting my team up request. Same with all of you. Want to know why I picked all of you? It's simple. Edyn, you're a spell caster and have a loyal team of dream creatures who have your back. Tron, you love cartoons and have a crazy fighting spirit with a terrifying collection of duel monsters to back you up. That and you are a scientist."
I take a breath before continuing: "Ginga, you have a strong bond with Samurai Pegasus and together, you two are very powerful against enemies. I saw your fight against the gang Shark used to be in. Those jerks didn't stand a chance against you or Pegasus. Yuma told me to tell you to thank you for your help dealing with that while Heartland City was attacked by leftover remnants of Barian forces and Haruto was kidnapped. He didn't get the chance to in person as his family wanted him to be home in time for dinner." "Well, I'm glad I could help! A true blader fights with all their heart and is in tune with their bey completely." "We have no time for that whole speech sadly. Anyway, Incinerate can relate to the wolf tribe and has a serious amount of strength behind his teeth and claws. That and he might be able to scare off some of the enemies and destroy their stuff. Revolver, I picked you because I needed someone who links into Link VRAINS regularly and can hack things in case we have to fight the United Mining Company. Todoroki, your quirk is half fire and half ice. If my hunch about what era of Chima's history we are in is correct, we should be in the aftermath of the Hunter's attempt to freeze all of Chima and the ascending of the ancient Phoenix tribe to the Sun." Todoroki looks confused: "What I'm getting at is that the tribes of Chima would be relieved to have fire and ice on their side because of what impact it has had. Without the Phoenix's fire chi, the tribes will not stand as easily against whoever is attacking them. Atemu, the reason I selected you is bare bones simple. You're a pharaoh and a master at games. You have serious strategical skills and will be able to help with the whole gaining Chima's trust thing since you're a pharaoh. Crow, you're a turbo duelist and thus can drive through even an area as rough as this with your runner easily. That and your Blackwings can provide vital air support in battle."
I breath again: "And that's everyone, we should begin intel gathering right away. I will check the Gorilla forest and the surrounding area. Let's all split up and meet back here unless we find a battle going on. In that case, let's contact each other about stuff like that and jump right in. Unless y'all want to try something else. I don't care." Literally no one has anything to add, we all just split up. I go full throttle on my runner: "Let's go, Limited Overdone Ovenzilla Speed!" I reach the Gorilla Forest in an instant and slow down to less than 0.05% of that speed. It's peaceful here, no problems at all whatsoever. Heck, there's no one here. Strange, the gorillas must all be fighting or getting their monthly chi or something. If an enemy got their hands on all that chi, we'd have some serious problems to deal with. That's when I hear an emergency roar: "That must be from the lion, Laval. And let's see.. The roar spread out through the land via soundwaves traveling through air molecules. I will try and pinpoint its origin through that. The gorillas live in giant fruits they eat to make into their homes and I saw them sway due to the roar. In fact, that roar was so powerful that for the briefest moment, I actually felt it. While I'm here, I might as well stash away some chi. Not for myself but to help the tribes. The enemy hasn't fully planned this all out. Otherwise, they would have easily stolen all the chi from here by now. But before I move anywhere, I will figure that location out." After I think about it, I figure out it came in the direction of the Lion City after consulting my digital copy of a map of Chima. Then, I ran over to the house with all the chi and put in as much of it into my ender chest(which is still in my backpack) as possible: "Come on! I have to get all of these to the frontlines of the battle. The tribes of Chima must not lose." After that, I got back in my runner with all that chi and sped to the Lion City after Ginga informed us all that they're attacking the Lion City. The scene is something out of a nightmare.
The tribes are being pummeled while the still damaged city gets heavy firepower and a bunch of UMC troops paratroop into the battle zone. I was right though, I see the Hunters fighting alongside the other tribes but they are all exhausted from the fighting they had with each other. It's gruesome, the attacks are relentless and force the tribes to use what chi they had left from what they brought. What a mess. The walls of the city are crumbling more and more. The others on our team show up and the pharaoh says: "We must split up again! We will protect this land no matter the cost. Come forth my most loyal friend, Mahado the Dark Magician!" He uses his ancient duel disk instead of his modern one to summon Mahado. Mahado is clad in his famous purple robes with a hat shaped hood plus his brown hair and blue eyes and blue and green staff: "My Pharaoh, what is it you wish of me to do?" "Help those in grave danger! I need you to help us defeat the enemy!" It goes on after that but I don't hear because I went off elsewhere. Plus, while staying on my runner, I fought off UMC troops. My 3rd or 4th Duel Runner has a red and black color scheme with a roof that resembles a helmet, seemingly ordinary wheels, advanced engine, and a padded seat near space for the duel disk interface and stuff. Kind of simple but the same can be said for Yusei's own runner. My training with the Fab Fairies and the runner's auto pilot are really coming in handy. Ha, I feel like my Midgardian counterpart Lord Knight Swiftdrawer. They often fight while riding their Peco Peco. In the distance, I see Tron summon Number 69: Heraldry Chest and smirk: "The enemies over there are in serious trouble now! Anyway, you assholes aren't going to win this battle so easily! The chi of Chima is not yours to take! Before this land becomes unstable, I will release all the chi I gathered." One of the UMC troops yells: "Hey Yappa Yappa! It's Swiftdrawer! Aren't you going to kill him?"
For some reason, my Link VRAINS skill Artist's Eye activates, causing my left eye to turn pink: "I don't have time for that jerk right now! Why is my skill activating here? Wait, there's something on top of Mount Cavora. No, there are individuals up there and they are being attacked by fighter jets with your company's logo painted big and boldly on each of them! I will ground those aircraft once I find a safe way up there. Goodbye!" I look for anything I can use to send my runner going up. Nearby, there happens to be some debris that look like an unstable ramp. I move my runner as far away from it as possible and beeline for it at increasing acceleration. But as I begin to do that, I activate my duel disk and use Rush Duel mode: "Let's go! I summon these 3 monsters and then use them to synchro summon! Come on out, my synchro comrade! Now, let's go further! I summon these in order to do that again. Synchro summon! *draws more cards* Time to do it once more. I have everything I need for this. Delta Accel Synchro!" That final synchro summon gets me to the velocity I need to fly onto the top of Mount Cavora. Enemies and allies above and below must be shocked at this development. My Artist's Eye remains in effect a little longer. Time seems to slow down due to time dialation and other factors. I get to see multiple individuals holding their breaths. Few have tried something this daring to get to Mount Cavora. Unfortunately, I had little choice but to do this. If I had used Limited Overdone Ovenzilla Speed, I would have died a slow and painful death. That speed would have sent me flying right over the mountain. In fact, I'd be sent into space and run out of air eventually. And if I teleported up to it, I would probably be repelled by the energy field and crashed and died. Or my runner would destabilize the top of it, leading to free fall based death. There's just too much up there right now.
That all would be way worse than the depictions of things I recently heard during iFC 2022's Mass Debation panel which went completely out of control in a way that would make this documentation of my adventure have to be marked 18+ if I described it here. Anyway, I manage to make it in the end and breath a sigh of relief: "Let me help you all out with those fighter jets. *swaps sword out for bow* I'm finally ready to use the skills of my new secondary class per say, archer. The biggest problem when it comes to warriors like myself is we are close range fighters by trade. Swords and spears require close range fighting to be effective. That's why I had some friends teach me how to use a bow and arrow to compensate." I see Laval and sure enough, he shows signs of having worn his voice, I knew it. Cragger demands of me: "Just who are you anyway? Why are you helping us? How did you get up here with that?" By this point, I had called back the monster I summoned using Delta Accel Synchro: "You can call me Swiftdrawer. I assure you that you can trust me. These friends of ours who are raining down on your parade work with 2 of my mortal enemies who want me destroyed completely. I'm here to stop them from destroying your home and taking your chi. I know all about The Great Story and The Story Before The Great Story. This transportation vehicle is able to speed up to basically go crazily ludacriously fast. I found some debris that looked like a ramp and so, I used it." Eris is in awe: "You must know all about launch angles!" "Yes, I do. I took an entire class on stuff like this. Anyway, this is no time for chit chat. Most of you can't fight these jets from up here. Once we wreck them, I'm going to get all of you down from here so you can fight right alongside your tribes. Consider me an ally who is reaching out and trying to be friends eventually. More importantly, I can't expect any of you to trust me right away so I will just have to earn it!" Besides Laval, Eris, and Cragger, there's some others.
Worriz is a white and gray wolf with yellow eyes, a scar, black nose, and red armor with a skull on it. Gorzan is a gorilla with blue and black fur, yellow flower mark in fur, yellow? eyes, and outfit that matches his appearance. The only commonalities in appearance for all of them are a chest harness for inserting chi and something that symbolizes their leadership or trust from others. Anyway, there's some more than them. Razar is a black raven with red around his yellow? eyes, and an outfit that is barely noticed due to its similarities with his colors. Bladvic is a brown bear with a golden helmet, brown eyes, black nose, and white muzzle. Rogan is a grey rhino with a big horn, grey eyes, and blue clothing. L'ella is a yellow eyed lion with sand yellow and white fur, black nose, and a fancy warrior style gold and red outfit. Finally, there's Tormak, an orange and white tiger with black stripes, orange-yellow eyes, and red and gold armor. I aim at one of the aircraft from my duel runner with both my bow and a quiver of arrows now out: "I prefer fighting at close range and with a sword but sometimes, you have to adapt even your choice of weapons in a fight. These arrows explode upon contact with a surface. A close friend of mine made them for me. Now watch this. As an artist, I have an advantage when it comes to focusing on something specific. My attention to detail will serve me well here. Aim, set, fire!" I waited for the right moment to take down one of the aircraft. Lining everything up, I bet this all on the teachings of the Fab Fairies. Bullseye. Kaboom. The fighter jet sustains heavy structural damage and crashes to the ground below. They're all stunned at seeing that. Razar speaks to me: "Hello my friend, would you be interested in trading that bow and those arrows for something worthy of a warrior?"
"I know how you ravens work. Not happening. The bow is a gift from my trainers in the art of archery and the arrows like I said were made by a close friend. If you try to steal them or my sweet ride, I can easily make things much more frightening for you. Don't try me. Anyway, I hope to aid all of you as best as I can in saving Chima. Y'all just fought before this so you're all pretty beat. Same could be said for me but it's more so that my body is very sore. That tends to happen when you have to deal with a jerk who uses people and possesses strong bodies before having to fight giant hands and then get stuck in a whole other world with a bunch of hot heads and others." Laval replies: "What?" "You probably don't want to know. Anyway, like I said before, we have to stop talking and trash those fighter jets. I'll explain who I am once we are back down there and preferably not fighting for our lives. It'd be nice if Revolver summoned Borreload Dragon already. And if the pharaoh summoned the Egyptian Gods, this battle would be over in seconds. Enough of that, you'll learn all that in time. Now please excuse me as I focus on knocking these assholes out of the sky. You're all welcome to help. The pilots of these things could be easily messed with to make them crash." I pinpoint the perfect opportunity to take down another fighter jet. It takes just 2 minutes to finish doing that. They were definitely not expecting this from me. I smirk: "That's that done. Please don't ask questions, just form a circle with your arms. Two of you must touch me so I can teleport us all of us down there. Don't worry, it's safe." And skip to 15 seconds after that, we're on the ground and we're fighting. I couldn't give the 10 any time to say anything else to me sadly. But still, I swap out my bow for my sword and bodies easily fall before me as I use my blade against their weapons. These UMC troops were not trained or equipped well enough for me. It's like they were just throwing in bodies to outnumber us but it's not working.
That's when I hear a very close sound. Without even turning around, I say: "That isn't good enough to hurt me anymore, Yappa Yappa. I know you're there. That sound is familiar and I can smell your armpits from a mile away. When was the last time you had a shower?" He appears right in front of me with a scowl on his face: "YOU! I'm going to kill you! How did that not hurt you? I'm far more superior to you than ever!" "You actively seek me out specifically even though I'd have been killed by you if I hadn't had teammates to back me up in our last 2 fights. It's strange. You should be targeting those who helped me too. Oh yeah that's right, none of them are here are they? Will you ever realize that intentionally seeking out others to kill in cold blood with pleasure doesn't get you true happiness or power?" "I can't stand all your smart talk! You're a freak! And freaks need to be eliminated for good as soon as possible!" "Freak huh? You aren't even coming at me yet. You're waiting for the right moment. Call me a freak all you want, it won't hurt me. The society I live in has twisted my sanity and patience up many times. I seek the destruction of its status quo. And yet, I want to save lives, protect others, and rescue those in trouble. Your mental health is in poor standing and I know your backstory. Just stop inflicting suffering, it won't do you any good and won't fix your stability." "You say that and yet you harbor so much hatred just like me! Embrace your cruelty or die here forever! Actually, I want to kill you even if you join my side! I hate you! *fails to stab me in the back* Deep down, you're a villain! Stop refusing to acknowledge that!" I grip tighter onto my sword:
"Sometimes, I don't know what I am in that regard. I can't help but find myself partially agreeing with Hero Killer Stain. Maybe I'm a hero, an anti-hero, or a villain. Does it really matter what label I fit in? No because actions and convictions speak louder volumes than that. People who want me silenced and dead in my world for being queer, leftist, and a furry would call me a villain. I personally will almost always fight against the villains even though I want to get to the root of the foundations of villains and heroes and bring it down. Hatred is born from bias, greed, fear, and/or a lack of understanding. I wish it were impossible for it to exist sometimes." "I hate you even more! Just shut up and die!" Our fight officially begins. At first, we yell and grunt as we clash with our weapons but when we get evenly matched, Yappa Yappa wraps around me with his extendable and changeable arms. He changes his arms to steel, locking me in place as he slowly cuts off my air supply. He thinks he's won but that's not quite the full story. The plot of my life in this body will not be ending here. I have too much to do still, my existence as a mortal is far from complete. I tilt my head towards him and start screaming as loud and high pitched as I can. Yappa Yappa's ears bleed a little bit, forcing my enemy to have to cover them, freeing me in the process. I keep screaming until I can't hold it anymore. Just a few seconds left till I have to let it go. That's enough time to deal a critical blow on him. I kick his nether region, making him flinch in pain. After that, I go for his right arm with a Darkeye Slash. The intent was to cut off his arm so he couldn't use it against me anymore but even though steel is no match for my sword combined with my skills, not even a dent is made. When I release my attack and fail, he laughs: "See, you're a villain! You just tried to make me bleed! That means you're trying to kill me!"
I then did something he never could have expected, I took my mask off to reveal my face: "..You?! You've been Swiftdrawer the entire time?" I don't answer immediately. Instead, I use the opening to punch his stomach with my left hand before adding in a strike from my sword with my right. I do no damage but say: "That's right, asshole. I'm one of the ones partially responsible for the downfalls of Gorganan, the Shadow, and the SDL. Your defenses have increased greatly since we last fought. Well, so have mine. So what if I'm trying to win? In a fight of kill or be killed, you're supposed to try to survive. That's how it works. I don't like inflicting harm on others that much but my hand has been forced thousands of times to at this point and that's just how it is. Your boss Pmurt Nedib is next. Don't fuck with me. Because if you manage to force my hand to fight you and take you seriously, you have made a huge mistake that's going to cost you. When I get serious, no one can deter me." I take my cloak off and pocket it. He widens his eyes, too shocked to continue a 2nd round of clashing with weapons: "But this is impossible! I'm going to kill you and lick everything I take from you that ends up on my weapon or body! You have just made me want to kill you even more! I will pleasure in your screams of pain before bashing your head in with your own decapitated arms! Die! Obligatory Obedience!" "Even if you do kill me, I will still come back to beat you eventually, Yappa Yappa! I know more than I let on and there's only one individual who really knows! Super Spin Slash!"
*Flashback to several days ago* I appear in my Swiftdrawer outfit in front of Blaze's room. They wake up and open the door to find me: "It's time, Blaze. After over 2 years, it's time to talk. I went back in time yesterday to talk to you that day 2 years ago. We have a lot to discuss. Let's just say that I know what kind of things we're going to be dealing with in the future." I spent over an hour telling Blaze everything. A villain called The Plot. A war that will ravage multiple universes. The endless cycle. How the redundant apocalypses will conclude. "I am the writer, Blaze. Not everything is known to me but we will one day find records of everything that has ever and will happen until the final battle will come to decide whether or not the cycle continues. By next fall, Pmurt Nedib will be dead. His story is slowly coming to a close even though it feels like it's still pre rising action with our conflict with him, Yappa Yappa, and the UMC. Don't tell anyone, we cannot give ourselves a serious advantage with all of this information because I have a feeling that doing so would backfire and lead to us losing before the final battle could even begin. I even know that I'm going to get stuck in Rune-Midgarts and have to deal with Bakugo. But by that time, I will have happened to completely forget that I already know." "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul." "Good. It will be a few years before we can. At the end of the battle with Pmurt Nedib, I will begin to have powers again. Damn it, the final battle is going to get me killed but the next cycle will finish it all much faster than expected. However, I am limited in what I know. Whatever my imagination thinks of to be honest. I have no idea how we're going to defeat Agram in the Moonlands because in my world, I haven't come up with how I'm going to write that solution yet. It's complicated but basically, everything I supposedly come up with is co linked with something that has, is, or will happen outside of my universe." *Flashback end*
Our attacks cancel out and we resort to clashing once again with our weapons until I say after hearing enough of Yappa Yappa's trash talking: "Stop being so high and mighty, okay? Neither of us are invincible. Take this! Extremely Risky Spin Slash!" I send him crashing into a UMC tank with my quickly executed attack. He gets back up and shows just how much stronger he is than me by knocking my sword out of my hand and stabbing that same hand. Then in no time, he stops going easy and captures me again: "I've been warming up to really season your death! I can't wait to kill you right in front of your friends! It's going to be the best thing I've ever done!" "Damn it! I knew you were so strong and shouldn't have forgotten that you have this much strength! You were counting on that this entire time, weren't you? It has been a while since we've faced off after all! And now, you have multiplied your power! Shit, I was aware I couldn't beat you on my own but I wanted to try so the others could take care of the swarm of troops Pmurt Nedib has sent in! You let me catch you off guard so you could do it later and start killing me!" "I'm so disgusted you managed to figure it out! HOW DO YOU DO THAT? Anyway, your stubbornness makes me so jealous! I'll play with your corpse like a ragdoll after I gouge your eyeballs out and cut your throat!" I can't fight back, he literally lifted me off the ground effortlessly. Todoroki shouts: "Hey, you let them go right now or else!" Yappa Yappa smiles maniacally: "Or else what?" The young hero starts running and shouts: "FLASH FIRE FREEZE!" A barrage of fire and ice hits Yappa Yappa and sends him flying. Hell, his body even starts burning. "Todoroki? I thought you were fighting those troops." "Don't worry, I took care of a large number of them. They didn't stand a chance. I will become a hero just like All Might. That's why I accepted the mission, the more I prove myself, the better."
"That and by now, the League Of Villains have joined up with the Meta Liberation Army to form the Paranormal Liberation Front. Your world's history was changed and now you must get even stronger to face that threat. Also, Yappa Yappa is far from done." "Did he just put himself out? Is he even stronger than Overhaul? Midoriya told us all about Overhaul and his frightening quirk. My attack barely fazed him." He gets back to us by using his arms to propel himself forward: "I'm going to kill you two for that. You almost managed to hurt me." I turn to Todoroki: "Can you give me a diversion? I need to do something fast. After that, we'll fight Yappa Yappa together." "But your hand! It's bleeding!" "I don't care right now! I brought a first aid kit just in case something like this happened! We should have brought a mage to this world with us.." "Okay, I trust you. But make it quick, I don't think I can hold him off for very long." He lowers his body temperature to an extreme and I run away as he manages to successfully freeze Yappa Yappa in place for a bit. I picked up my sword with my left hand and put it into the holder that was added onto my leggings a bit back. Then, I dig out the first aid kit and wrap a gauze bandage around my right arm after removing my right glove carefully. With that done, I put the glove back on and start making it rain chi: "Attention tribes of Chima! It's raining chi! You're welcome!" I hurry back to Todoroki who is struggling to keep Yappa Yappa back. I'm glad I didn't bring that paintbrush sheath today. At this point, I'm just going to ditch it. I don't like it anymore. More importantly, I help Todoroki give Yappa Yappa a run for his money until he easily knocks us back.
Before he could hurt us further, Laval jumps in while plugging in an orb of chi into his chest, granting him increased speed and strength. The lion takes his sword from his backside and strikes Yappa Yappa with it, catching him off guard: "Take this! I won't let you hurt my friends!" Todoroki is surprised while I replace a forming expression of shock with one of a smirk because I recalled how Laval is to others: "We barely know each other, we aren't friends just yet. I know that's how you are but please wait until we establish a bond before saying that again." Yappa Yappa grunts: "I hate all of you so much! It sickens me to see friends defend and help each other without a second thought and be willing to throw their lives away for the wrong cause!" He's easily able to take the 3 of us at once, Laval's power up is far from enough. Same with Todoroki's quirk and my special attacks. I activate my duel disk: "I activate the Action Field Crossover!" "Generating Action Field, Crossover. Action cards dispersed." My duel runner may be unattended but nobody can use or steal it and it helps speed up the action field generation process. I send out an Extremely Risky Spin Slash, making an opening for myself in the process. With that opening opened, I jump up onto the shapes that Crossover generated to find all the action cards. Upon my success, I stand in front of Laval and Todoroki: "Hang back for a second. Thanks for not losing while I was looking for those cards. But seriously, I'm so glad my 2nd absence didn't hurt either of you that much. Take a rest for I'm about to make Yappa Yappa waste a little bit of his energy." He tried attacking me as he was envious.
I pulled that strategy together so quickly. I dodged and when that stopped working, I used up all the action cards I gathered together. Once that stopped working, I gave him a surprise punch, paving the way for Todoroki and Laval being able to attack him from behind. They do no damage: "Is that your best? I will kill both of you along with Adam! My nemesis will die with you both! I promise you! Life Steal!" No, not that move! I push Laval and Todoroki away from Yappa Yappa, causing me to take the full brunt of the attack. I breathe heavily as much of my energy is drained before slicing away at the tubes that are taking it away from me: "You won't win so easily, Yappa Yappa! If we have to finish you off for good, then I guess that's what we'll do!" He laughs again: "I've still been holding back, I didn't want to kill you all effortlessly. But now, I will really show you the widening difference in my strength versus all of yours!" Todoroki asks as the fighting suddenly stops: "What do you mean by that?" *intense dramatic theme music plays from somewhere* Our foe grins: "Not only do I not have to have a number card with me to stabilize my sanity anymore but I can now evolve!" I sweat heavily and pant just as heavily. The sky above us turns dark. The ground below shakes a little bit. Yappa Yappa with a wide malicious grin on his face explodes right in front of us. What is happening? What did he do? A dark blue energy seeps out of the remains of his body. Then, a floating mouth appears to devour Yappa Yappa's exploded remains, ash included. Before the explosion, I saw Yappa Yappa throw his weapon a little bit away from our position.
That pitchfork weapon of his has flesh grossly ooze out of it and combine with the mouth and energy. Then, it gets struck by lightning before the dark clouds converge and join in on the mix. Nearby, a lone golden chi orb is stationary and unguarded for sone reason. But then, the energy comes to carry it to the center of whatever is happening. Within seconds of that succeeding, a much deeper version of Yappa Yappa's laugh rings out. Suddenly, a large eye emerges from the mix and it looks sadistic. The mouth grows in size by a lot. After that, Yappa Yappa is reborn in a huge body that's like his old one but many times bigger and much more muscular. But before he says or does anything with the new body, the new body suddenly turns into dust. Yappa Yappa is reborn again in a body the same size as his original that rises out of the dust which is swirling with lots of energy. Soon, all the dust forms into his new form: "This is the end of Chima! I don't need all of this power to kill all 3 of you. So, I will share it with my subordinates within the UMC! Together, we'll butcher all of you, leaving no survivors! I'm so jealous and disgusted that you have such strong friendships and are able to feel so much joy even when I'm out to kill you with my own hands! It took me weeks to get even close to attaining this form and now that I have it, I'm not going back to where I was before!" "Damn it! I must do this now before I collapse from exhaustion! Continuous Extremely Risky Spin Slash: 3!" I send out 3 of my attacks at once, draining the rest of my energy in the process.
I give a weak thumbs up to Laval and Todoroki before trembling to my feet. "It matters not what you do! I can easily destroy this just by looking!" My 3 attacks are dispersed by Yappa Yappa just staring and grinning maniacally at them. What has he done? At this rate, we'll have to go completely overkill to defeat him! In fact, we might have to retreat to somewhere else. Shit, nobody's left in BRAINS to help us right now. Then, a hyper sprinkle falls out of my pocket and lands on my armor. A short surge of temporary energy that won't last longer than a few seconds due to my condition flows through me. I use it to sprint away and then furiously type into my phone to the main BRAINS chat: "HELP US PLEASE" before putting it away again and watching Yappa Yappa clobber Laval and Todoroki. They won't stand a chance against him for much longer. This is a crisis and really really bad. But then, Pharaoh Atemu has had enough: "Gods of Egypt, hear my cry! Come to our aid in this time of need! Osiris! Obelisk! Ra!" The sky turns dark again and that's followed by intense weather like lightning and heavy wind. Yappa Yappa puts on a look that is pure joy, enraged jealousy, and extreme disgust all at once. The sky seemingly opens up to reveal the 3 literal gods. Osiris is a gigantic mostly red dragon with 2 mouths, yellow eyes, and a blue stone-like thing on his forehead. Obelisk is hundreds of feet tall with blue skin, big muscles, red eyes, a blue or yellow stone-like thing on his forehead too, and a face that looks like something that'd be on a stone statue for a tomb. Finally, there's Ra. Ra is a huge yellow dragon with red eyes, and a blue stone-like thing on his forehead as well. His sharp white teeth really stick out in this situation.
"Tribes of Chima, I need you to get away from the enemy as soon as possible! I am Pharaoh Atemu, son of Aknamkanon. I was chosen by the Gods of Egypt to summon them. The gods will defeat the whole army. Watch as the wrath of the gods descends upon all of them!" Atemu decided to wear his main clothing from his days as pharaoh for this battle. His hair has blonde bangs, one of which sticks right up to match the height of the highest point in his otherwise star-shaped and 5 pointed magenta/red and black hair. He also has crimson eyes, dark skin, multiple golden accessories, a blue cape, white sandal like shoes, and shirt and pants in the color scheme of white, gold, and blue. Yappa Yappa stops smiling upon realizing the full power of those 3 gods. The Tribes of Chima start running away while the army runs in pursuit of them. But I won't let those jerks move another inch. My duel disk is still activated. Adrenaline finally kicks in, giving me the strength I need to pull off what I'm about to do. With quick and successive card movements with my hands, I summon Regnes: "Appear now Number 916! My comrade! Regnes! Now then Regnes, it's time for you to evolve. Chaos Xyz Evolution! No chant needed, just cower in fear, enemies of ours! Regnes, please stop those UMC troops with your frightening moves! Then you can go back to wherever you were before! This won't take long! You need to hold them in place until the gods are finished attacking them. You will be unharmed of course. That is if you're willing to help of course." Regnes nods: "I will assist. Be quick, Gods of Egypt! We're in a tight spot back where I was before this." The gods seem to understand Regnes perfectly just in time for Regnes to get the troops to freeze in place out of fear. The number doesn't even need to attack.
He just stares with a grin on his face. That allows the gods to strike down the UMC army with just enough mercy to not kill any of them. Even though they're all infused with some of Yappa Yappa's new power, they are no match for them. With that done, the army is battered and they begin to retreat: "Wait, hold on! Noooo! You disgusting failures! I would be so jealous of your guts to face Adam without getting angry if you hadn't frozen in place upon seeing that number! I'm going to cut all of you down once I win here myself! Not even all of Chima with some help could beat me now! I have more important matters than my losers. Come at me, Chima! Show me how pathetic you are compared to me, a superior mortal with the power of something far above even a god! Actually, stay away unless you want me to be so disgusted that I destroy Mount Cavora by glaring at it!" What is this power? Where the hell did Yappa Yappa manage to obtain all of this? Shit, I can't do anything anymore. My duel disk deactivated by itself, sending Regnes back in the process. Ra, Obelisk, and Osiris unleash their full power on Yappa Yappa. You'd think the whole area would be a crater by now but Yappa Yappa just itched in response to the full on assault by the gods who are unsummoned because Atemu runs out of energy too. Todoroki utters: "What kind of power is this? He's more powerful than Overhaul, All For One, Stain, and Tomura Shigaraki combined.. How can we defeat something like all of this?" I sweat: "I have no idea. All I know is that Yappa Yappa is going to be killed in the near future.. Yappa Yappa, before you kill us and take all of Chima's chi for yourself, can you at least tell us what you did to obtain all of this?"
He laughs another time: "Why not? All of you look like you've lost all of your hope. I'm disgusted that I will never get to enjoy seeing this forever! First, I killed someone called Dark Adam. Short black hair, red eyes, black outfit not unlike Seto Kaiba's, tall and skinny. My master said that I could never have part of the Shadow's power but by killing him, I got it! But wait, there's more! I took advantage of my alliance with the League Of Villains. The procedure was agonizing. But, I'm no longer even by blood a resident of my home planet! Instead, I'm a Nomu!" "Dark Adam? But in my world, he's an old villain OC of mine! Also, noooo! That means you can handle multiple quirks at once!" "That's right! I even killed Izuku Midoriya in one timeline when he was participating in UA's entrance courses after willing him to give up One For All to me! Then, I also gained the quirks of regeneration, permeation, and blood curdling by killing 3 others and giving them over to All For One's doctor assistant! If you think that's all, think again! Look at my eyes!" "But I already saw them! What have you done?" "Look again!" I look again and gasp in horror: "But those eyes are the rinnegan. Someone with the rinnegan can do terrifyingly powerful things like trap even Kurama, the Nine Tailed Fox whenever he possessed Naruto and made him super angry."
"That's right! Dark Adam should have stayed in his own universe. He happened to be near the UMC's headquarters when I took him by surprise and stabbed him right through the heart! Madara Uchiha was on his deathbed when I took his rinnegan away from him before his successor could get them. And there's more than even that! With my new abilities, I easily took control of the Elements Of Harmony from Equestria during Discord's mischief and stole Grogar's bell and used it to steal magic from all sorts of life forms! I have taken the abilities of Demon Lord Morroc, Great Sage Varmundt, all Miitopian Great Sages, all Miitopian mages, all of Equestria, and more!" "Basically, your power would rival Gorganan's and the SDL's! Just spill the beans on everything else you took already!" "I stole your powers from the gate you opened for one! Then of course, I ate Gofast whole and then went after BIM's sacred apple, killed Boogaloo, and ate the whole apple. I also took the powers and abilities of every legendary duelist, every one of your counterparts, all ninja from that world of Naruto's, all I could from Ninjago, Herobrine, Entity 303, Goku, Vegeta, Cell, Frieza, Jiren, Hit, Zeno, Beerus, Topo, Shenron, Agram, Don Thousand, Zorc, Count Venamous, Bakugo, you Todoroki, Dark Helmet, Yogurt, Lone Starr, and much much more! Consuming Paradox after he killed Pegasus early on allowed me to be able to time travel too!" All of us are pale at all of that. I deadpan: "Oh no. We are all fucked unless some incredibly unlikely miracle thing happen. Someone please hand me an HP banana from my bag while Yappa Yappa shows us a little bit of mercy to revel in the looks on our faces. There's only a couple things I can do that might do something. Yappa Yappa could softly blow on something and this whole universe would be destroyed in the aftermath. I sure hope I can get Ovenzilla to help us."
Gorzan hears the word banana and helps me: "Dude, I don't see any bananas in your backpack." I'm so glad Yappa Yappa is obsessed with laughing and grinning right now, he looks like he's still got a while to go before he's satisfied enough to kill all of us in the blink of an eye. "Gorzan, see that thing that has purple energy coming out of it in there? Open it and try not to take or eat more than one of the bananas. We need to save as many as possible because there's a slim chance we might be able to make it out of this alive." "You got it, dude." He opens it and gives me an HP banana. I thank him for not going bananas over bananas and devour it. My wounds are healed and my exhaustion fades away along with the soreness in my body: "Nothing conventional is going to work. We have to do some unthinkable things to have a chance against Yappa Yappa. Good thing I brought some weird thingys Dominic asked me to try when nothing else works. That's the name of the close friend I mentioned earlier by the way. Let me see here. *pulls out one of the weird thingys* Is this a miniature version of the popcorn monster that I let myself be eaten by in order to investigate them? The one that ate my home galaxy for breakfast and almost digested it? It is. Yappa Yappa, you're in trouble!" While we all fumble around for a plan to take down Yappa Yappa and not die in the process, I decide to release the little popcorn monster and see what happens. Yappa Yappa stops laughing: "Now it's time for all of you to die one by one! You're dying first, Adam! Remember this move? Galaxy Nova!" Damn, that's one of Samurai Pegasus' attacks!
But just when I was about to die in a flash, the little popcorn monster eats the attack and starts eating Yappa Yappa: "Hey, stop trying to eat me! I'm disgusted by whoever found or made this creature and jealous that it's not in the hands of my master! Yuck! A popcorn monster? I hate popcorn, it's why the number of movie theaters has gone down in some universes recently!" I face palm at how well that worked plus his reaction. Like seriously, it's ridiculous that this actually worked, unbelievable. In no time, the monster finishes eating Yappa Yappa but it's clear that that won't last long. Laval notices the popcorn monster begin to rapidly expand: "Run everyone! To the Falling Jungle!" I retrieve my duel runner and pick up Atemu to take with me on it. He's so exhausted. As we drive away from the popcorn monster which is now the size of a 2 story building, I realize something. We have Tron here and he can summon his numbers again thanks to Astral. It isn't just Number 69: Heraldry Crest that he has. He also has Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage. I get in touch with him through the duel gazer/augmented reality network: "Tron, I have an idea that might stop Yappa Yappa temporarily. He'll escape the popcorn monster in a second so please listen. If you summon Genome-Heritage, you could use his abilities to steal Yappa Yappa's abilities and you know what else." "That's an excellent plan! Sounds fun! I will do it now!" In the distance, I see Tron overlay 2 level 4 Heraldic Beast monsters in order to Xyz summon Genome-Heritage. This fight isn't as impossible as we first thought. As long as we can stay alive, we have multiple methods at our disposal that could bring down Yappa Yappa despite his insane power level. How many universes has he visited anyway? From another direction, I see the popcorn monster get vaporized by a very small Kamehameha wave.
Yappa Yappa is coming. I get right next to Tron with my runner to watch the magic unfold. Just when our enemy was going to kill us, Tron giggles: "Not so fast! I activate Genome-Heritage's effect! By using one overlay unit, he steals all of your abilities. And then I use another one so he can steal your name!" He wasn't expecting that nor was he expecting me to draw my sword and yell: "Continuous Extremely Risky Spin Slash: 5!" He isn't taking this battle seriously. He's barely using any of his full power. Otherwise, he'd have seen it a mile away thanks to the rinnegan. With him caught off guard, Number 8 uses his thingys to suck away at Yappa Yappa's powers. The most shocking part is that it's.. working! The color is being drained from Yappa Yappa, he's going all greyscale now. Reiji and Leo Akaba's recent upgrades to the Arc dueling system are really doing wonders here. Yappa Yappa freaks out: "Noooo! My powers! They're all gone! How dare you!" Tron giggles again: "Now show yourself again, Number 8: Yappa Yappa!" Genome-Heritage's appearance has shifted to match Yappa Yappa except the number 8 symbol is on the right side of the face and surrounded by a part of his original form, the white mask like thing: "Tron! Those abilities won't last forever! We need to use this as an opening to take down Yappa Yappa! Please leave that to me! Unfortunately, he's still a strong fighter and you couldn't negate that. Get out of here to delay the returning of the powers to Yappa Yappa or should we say, Unknown?" He agrees with all that and moves away quickly. I get off my runner after restoring Atemu's energy with an HP banana. The enemy is full of rage and hatred: "I'm going to make you pay dearly for all of that! Your clever plans make me so jealous and disgusted! Just die, Adam! DIE!"
We exchange blows and keep on clashing. Without any of his powers, Yappa Yappa is equal to me in strength and is unable to use a strong defense to prevent himself from getting hurt. Meanwhile, my armor is strong enough to cause him to think twice before hitting it or me. I wear him out as much as I can until his powers return at which point I will send the duel runner to maximum speed in order to get away before he could process my getting away. That's when as Yappa Yappa gains back his powers(and name and color) and I almost die, Bray appears and blasts him: "Sorry Im late. The situation I was dealing with was complicated. Also, I brought a friend. Ender, take all of us and Adam's runner to safety." Ender nods and does so. Now we're with the others as Yappa Yappa charges at us like a runaway mine train. I hug Bray and cry in her robes, finally releasing all that pent up fear, anger, and sadness I've been ignoring to try to solve the problem of Yappa Yappa being almost completely invincible and nearly infinitely strong: "Thank you so much for the save.. On the outside, I was calm, focused, and prepared.. But in the end, I'm also afraid of his insane power.. You saved me at the last moment of a critical juncture.." She hugs me back: "Don't worry, everyone is on the way now. And I really do mean everyone, even your counterpart Lord Knight Swiftdrawer and a small clone of Ovenzilla. When Dominic noticed a massive energy influx and you sent that message, he knew what to do. Now stop crying for now, we don't need you dehydrated for taking on Yappa Yappa together, do we? I shall do everything I can to stop him."
I nod and calm down, wipe my tears, and turn around with a very serious look on my face towards Yappa Yappa: "Comfort and relative relaxation is now temporarily suspended. Furthermore, I reactivate my duel disk so I can activate 2 copies of Xyz Overlay Boost. Genome-Heritage can do his thing again and slow you down more until the others make it here." Yappa Yappa yells out loud after Tron has that done: "Not again! Not again! I'm going to kill you both first for this! Just you wait! But I am curious as to who you're going to have try to help you! I'm sure it will go poorly!" *Meanwhile at Pmurt Nedib's office* "Yappa Yappa has become THAT powerful? Why didn't he tell me he gained that much power? Ugh, I can't do anything about that while he fights and besides, my shareholders want a meeting with me about something. If Yappa Yappa fails with all this power, I'm going to have to begin my secret plan, Operation Yappa Yappa Destruction."
Outro: Wow! This chapter is one hell of a chapter! I wasn't planning on having Yappa Yappa become so powerful no words can truly describe it but honestly, this kind of thing is needed to heat up the plot a little bit. I hope you enjoyed reading and don't worry, the next 2 chapters won't just be everyone trying to defeat Yappa Yappa. No, no, I have yet to reveal anyone from Chima who's been possessed by any number of number cards yet you know. I also hope you liked that little confession Swiftdrawer made to Blaze.
