Chapter 17: The B Masters
Date: November 11th, 2022
The lead up to this chapter. Pmurt Nedib helped Dragold and Gillusion not only return to Earth but in their plans to rule as well. Later, Swiftdrawer used their decoy deck foolishly in a speed action duel against Yappa Yappa and lost, sending them and Herbsalvin falling, leading to injury and unconsciousness. Yappa Yappa was going to kill them but B-shots, users of B Daman forced him to retreat. Upon waking up in Kamon's bedroom, Swiftdrawer talked and started to explain quite a bit and learned about what the others did for them. A B Daman was found by them so they were assumed to be the owner of said B Daman. They weren't and were confused but held onto them just because. They began to tell about themselves when they found out Ryoma under possession was beginning Gillusion's vile plans so everyone eventually split up. Swiftdrawer went with Yukihide, Subaru, Dravise, Eagle, and Herbsalvin who along with them were now fine thanks to HP bananas. They soon decimated dragon bit machines in East City before having to go to confront a possessed Kamon and Ryoma inside an arena at the center of town. Swiftdrawer and most everyone else lost to Kamon but as Kakeru fought him, Swiftdrawer scared some jerks and rescued Blaze who was captured. After Kamon was freed of possession, Ryoma went berserk and grossly transformed into Triple Gillusion hydra. Ryoma's soul is transferred into a human sized "human type" B Daman and the fight truly began. Biara summoned her ace monster and Swiftdrawer had now summoned monsters of 6 summoning methods. They soon snuck around some UMC troops who were helping Gillusion. This allowed them to discreetly attack Gillusion before breaking most of their body after being caught to deal some damage. They ran away, defeated some troops, and that's where we are now.
Gillusion laughs: "All you mortals think you stand a chance against me. You won't be able to keep running from your room forever! If this is how you want to defy me then I will just have to evolve Puppet Ryoma to the next level. *does so* And there you have it. Ryoma doesn't need Emblem Charges to continue on anymore with special moves! Every time I make him fire, he will do special moves. You're all finished!" I keep running while taking down more troops until the damage I have been dealt by myself and some enemies takes its toll. I stumble to the ground and collapse as running made my injuries spread to my legs. Damn it. I just rolled my ankle too. There's no way I can stand back up now! This is bad, really bad. Kakeru notices my predicament: "Adam! Are you okay?" "I hate sugar coating things. I prefer to tell things in a straight forward way. Let me be honest. I'm heavily injured and I can't get back up. But don't worry, I'm not bleeding and my internal organs are fine. I'm not dying. I'm heavily injured but my armor will protect me." "Oh no! Take my hand! Let me help you back up!" "There is no time for that. Listen, even if you helped me back up, I'd have to walk with only one foot. My rightmost ankle needs rest, ice, compression, and elevation. If my left arm weren't broken and my right arm weren't literally burning from muscle fatigue, I'd be able to eat my way out of this problem. We should have brought a healer on this mission. I even planned on coming to this world already. Kakeru, leave me here. You and Dracyan need to do what I can't. Destroy Gillusion and kill him. I have heavily injured his legs. That's why he's staying in one place and holding back a little bit. Quickly, your special move before he heals."
"Kakeru, Adam is right." "But I don't wanna leave hi-" "For future reference, it's them not him. Anyway, I'd just slow you down and you have little training in fighting so you and Dracyan must be allowed to keep firing marbles. You're the East Area B Master, show Gillusion why no one has contested your position. As for me, I'm going to do what I can while stuck down on the ground. Get this fight over with already. Dragold needs to be defeated too." "Right! But as soon as we're done here, we're going to get you to a hospital!" "That's fine! But that's if I can't get more help to come of the healing kind!" Ignoring the pain, I smile as Kakeru runs off, more passionate than before. With that taken care of, I get out Chaos Wolg: "I may not be able to fight with my sword anymore but we can still fight together. How about we do just that?" "Sure, you look okay enough to still use me! But are you certain that we'll be able to hit Gillusion from down here?" "Your concern is logical but there's no need for it. With the right acceleration and angle, nothing can stop us. The ideal aim is set. Our target is in frame. Let's create a well designed strike. Emblem Charge!" "Devastating Crushing Bite!" "With a single shot, an immense amount of passion and force will be exerted. Bring on the chaos upon those who dare inflict pain onto others for selfish reasons, Chaos Wolg!"
We aim at Ryoma who is still a B Daman by force: "What kind of chaos are you trying to stir up by doing that? I don't like where you're going with this." "I'm trying to stop a barrage of intense blasts that are scratching my armor! Additionally, I'm also trying to break Gillusion's hold on Ryoma. If they kill Gillusion, Ryoma should be back to his old self soon." Basara shows up: "What kind of reckless move is that? Drazeros, let's do better than this kid. Emblem Charge." "Twin Dragon Judgement!" "Drain away the light, Stream Drazeros!" My and Chaos' attack breaks through multiple big enemy marbles and slams into Ryoma's core, making him inoperable as a B Daman. Twin Dragon Judgement destroys him. Enemies and underestimating others, what a classic but reasonable trope. Basara is surprised: "You managed to do all that? How come I have never heard of a punk like you?" "I'm not from around here. Come to me after Dragold is beaten too and I'll explain." "You look like you'd do well in a Road Fight. Just don't risk yourself so much. I can tell you're hurt you know." "Never thought this was how I'd meet you, Basara and Drazeros. This is Chaos Wolg and I'm Adam." "Pfft. I'm leaving. Gillusion must be stopped and I have little brats to take care of." He walks off and then Gillusion tries to burn me to a crisp: "About time he tried that. Naturally, it didn't work. And the reason that is has nothing to do with Lars, price magic, succulent, or swooning. My armor is simply too strong for that." Mitsuru spots me: "Bzz bzz. Did you just survive being burned?" "Why yes I did. But don't get distracted unless you want me to see what remains of your body. Trust me, I've seen enough dead bodies but I never fully get used to it."
He runs off after nodding. "That's it. I'm crossing dimensions to get some help. Quantum Leap, take me to Twisted Land." In an instant, I'm safe in Twisted Land. Immediately, the Kanoka spirit finds me: "Adam! What are you doing here?" "Not much. Just trying to get some help. Can you get me an enchanted golden apple. This is urgent. We're having trouble in Crestland. I'm not surprised that you're all done with your missions already considering nothing can kill individuals like you." "Okay. I'll be back." A minute later, I have eaten and swallowed an enchanted golden apple and now have all of Twisted Land's forces around me. Why? The apple has brief but fast regeneration plus strength, resistance, and fire resistance effects that last for 5 minutes. "Everyone, thank you for coming. I can stand now. But before I do, we must figure out who's staying to protect this world and who's coming to help." Seconds later, it's decided and I return to Crestland with some reinforcements. Good thing too because the B-shots and others aren't doing so hot. Gillusion looks undamaged. This is bad. Naoya spots me and asks: "Who are they and where did you go?" Dragren adds: "It is quite puzzling that you just disappeared for a few minutes." "Some friends. I'll elaborate later. Right now, we gotta fight Gillusion who is healed from everything. But why is Ryoma's head in that patch of remaining human skin?" "We think his soul returned to that body that was his." "Makes sense." Now that I can move again on my own, I put away Chaos Wolg and pull out my sword. At the same time, Blaze activates their duel disk and yells: "It's time for a change in scenery! My favorite! Awoo! I activate the action field Sweets Island!" "Generating action field Sweets Island. Action cards dispersed."
Shumon freaks out: "What happened? This is a place that girls would love! Aaaaaa! There must be so many girls coming this way!" I rush to him: "Now is not the time for this. There's a hydra that's trying to kill us. It'd be nice if you focused on that. Besides, there are plenty of organisms around here that would make many girls flee in terror. You're okay. Now then, I have to yell at Blaze now. Blaze, why in the world would you activate your favorite field in this situation? Thanks to Arc technology, the pudding and everything is as real as us! One wrong step and we get trapped in deliciousness!" Blaze giggles: "I thought you would know! We can avoid it but Gillusion can't so when he starts moving, he'll get stuck!" "Okay but please back this up with your deck." "I got this! I set the Pendulum scale!" I stop paying attention knowing what they're going to do without even looking. In the meanwhile, I have a light bulb moment as I begin to charge towards Gillusion again. Because of that, I yell: "B-shots! I'm going to keep you safe! You have to unite as one with the B masters leading your way! That's how you defeat an unstoppable B Animal. But because he has numbers inside too, that means it's time for Regnes to evolve into his final form! I activate the required card to do this! *skip scene* And here he is at his best! Now, it's my turn to attack!"
I pass by Subaru on the way: "You're putting yourself in danger. That's foolish. Stop being like Kakeru." "Don't underestimate me. I know what I'm doing. I may only be academically qualified for digital art but that won't stop me! Haaaaaa! I'm going to slow you down, Gillusion! Even if it's the last thing I ever do! Continuous Extremely Risky Spin Slash: 40! I will wear my muscles a bit but I don't care!" I soon reach Gillusion's position while avoiding all kinds of things that are delicious, they're ironically perfect death traps. The action field is pretty trashed already but it's working. Our foe focuses on me, trying to kill me as quickly as possible but since I'm running and keeping pace with 40 combined fire tornadoes of my creation, I'm safe for now. The combined tornadoes are tearing through parts of Gillusion. He'll heal soon but this will provide an opening to deal damage that will slow his recovery. This will reduce his strength and attack speed. That's what we want. I stand calmly in the midst of all of this chaos. I then push myself to complete exhaustion in the arms: "Let me show you what I've worked so hard to pull off! Months of battles and intense training! Months! It's time for you all to see my conviction! Haaaaaa! When the limits of the muscles are exceeded and broken many times over, there soon becomes a point in which unlimited growth is possible! Continuous Extremely Risky Spin Slash: 120! Take this, Gillusion!" It takes 15 seconds but my attack is dished out successfully. As a result, a lot of damage is dealt and any sent towards me is nullified. I have effectively created an offensive shield for myself. With that done, it opens opportunities for the others to attack and for me to use Chaos Wolg to the max.
I get the B Daman out again and put my sword back into its sheath attached to my armor leggings: "Let's go crazy! No holding back now!" Kagero shouts at me: "But you're exhausted! A B-shot can't fight while exhausted!" "Funny you say that considering how long you lived alone with just Detonate Wolg. I'm exhausted but I'm not broken. I will break everything again if that's what it takes to stop Gillusion! Just watch! Emblem Charge!" "Devastating Crushing Bite!" "With a single shot, an immense amount of passion and force will be exerted. Bring on the chaos upon those who dare inflict pain onto others for selfish reasons, Chaos Wolg!" After that, I just keep doing it. Kagero runs towards me as I back up away from Gillusion and use my armor to protect the others from attack after attack. Gillusion is definitely taking us seriously now. Good, that will make it even easier to make him look like a total piece of trash once we kick his butt. Kagero says upon catching up to me: "Let me help you. You can't put up a good offense on your own." "You're right! But thanks to the fact we have some healers fighting alongside us, I can break myself without worry. Emblem Charge!" "Let's bring the power of the pack. Emblem Charge!" "Hungry Wolf Gale Shot!" "Devastating Crushing Bite!" "Take them to the bullet! Go, Detonate Wolg!" "With a single shot, an immense amount of passion and force will be exerted. Bring on the chaos upon those who dare inflict pain onto others for selfish reasons, Chaos Wolg!" I keep spamming that special move with the approval of Chaos. Kagero is shocked: "Why do you keep going on like this? You're pushing yourself and Chaos Wolg." Chaos chuckles: "I don't mind being the eggs that are broken to make the whatever you humans call it! In fact, it's exciting to be pushed so far! We'll create so much chaos!"
"That's exactly what I want! And as long as we and the others stay spread out, it'll be harder to hit us even if he's stuck and can't move forward or in any other direction for that matter! Stay behind me for the most part, my armor can handle it." I quickly push my helm down to cover my mouth and nose, leaving only the lower part of my forehead down to the eyes as vulnerable. Just as Chaos' core is about to implode from overuse, our foe reveals he's far more powerful than he has let on, pushing everyone back and breaking through the sticky pudding he's trapped in. In response to this, I activate Crossover to allow all of us to leap up to safety. This changes how we conduct things. Byakuga shouts: "He's so strong! How are we going to defeat him?" Kamon replies: "By working together harder than ever before! Let's do this, everyone! Emblem Charge!" I sigh: "If you're going to do this without a well formulated plan but I have little choice. I'm going to break myself again! Be prepared for me to almost die! Chaos Wolg, you're getting a well deserved rest! Now it's time for me to use myself and my sword to deal a hopefully critical hit! Great Infernal Tornado Slash! Haaaaaaaaa!" As soon as I unleash my attack, it stops a bunch of Gillusion's from hurting us but I fall off the platform made by Crossover's activation. I don't see a way out of this situation, our enemy is so strong even with the opening for more blows I created. Crap. That fall hurt a bit. I can't fight anymore and anyone who could help me get back into fighting shape is unable to reach me. Gillusion laughs: "Foolish human, it's time for you to die!" He was referring to me and directs a powerful energy blast in my direction. However, my armor withstands it but it cracks. Not much longer until attacks can go past my armor to cut into me. Damn it, here comes another attack. How will I be able to stop this one?
Wait, I know. My sword. It's still in my right hand as broken as my bones are. Weakly, I block the blast with my sword. It was successful but I'm so spent. I don't think I can do anything now. I'm as good as crippled. What a pain. Oh no, I see something out of the corner of my eye. Pmurt Nedib laughs alongside Yappa Yappa: "Hello, you pathetic B-shots! I'm a superior human who will now gladly end you all! Gillusion, we're going to work together to slaughter every single one of these defiant freaks! Business will boom after this! My shareholders will refuse to back out of the deals they have struck with me regarding my company! We're going to make so much money!" At that moment, I snap. Adrenaline and rage fuels up: "You bastard! I'm not going to allow you to succeed! No mercy! I will die and take as many of you enemies with me as I can!" Before anyone could react, I stab through Yappa Yappa's pacemaker and then stab right through Pmurt Nedib's heart: "Your blood will leek out, a reminder of how your cruelty was ended! Fuck patience! We have to get rid of you right here and right now! There is no escape from this! I won't let you hurt anyone else! My body is falling apart but I'm going to keep going until I drop dead and my body makes a mangled mess kept sort of together by my armor! But I'm not the main character, we're all main characters now. The story of the UMC is going to change here!" I'm with the wind, blowing through anything I can and ignoring what I can't. My sword goes through like a blustering wind through adversary after adversary. In seconds, bodies lie on the ground before me as my armor absorbs more damage from Gillusion's attacks.
My armor is cracking, my left hand just fell off my arm. I'm losing air. My brain's electrical impulses are slowing. My vision is going black as the worse pain ever is felt throughout every inch of my body. I'm losing my mind in the midst of all of this, in the middle of my accelerating death. But just as I'm about to die, Pmurt Nedib gets back up unhurt and fixes Yappa Yappa up before infecting his forces with dark energy. They get up, now glowing black and purple: "You think I didn't plan for that? You are by far to most annoying user of a sword who has ever defied my company ever! I will teach you to stand low forever, you inferior lapdog. Start whimpering now. Yappa Yappa, finish him off." "My pleasure! This is going to be so much fun! Overcharged Cruel Obligatory Obedience! I'm going to pummel and pleasure in killing you off! Your life is over, Adam!" Then, there was nothing. Nothing at all. The pain is all gone but there's nothing around me. I'm dead for real this time. But this is impossible, my role in the plot of the future isn't supposed to be over! I know this from the power of imagination. But then, green light comes out of the nothing and fades to reveal Crestland. I'm alive? I'm alive! Bray greets me with a look of worry: "Adam! I thought my spell wouldn't work! I haven't resurrected anyone in 40 years! I've never seen you look so much like a raw piece of meat." "You saved me? I owe you many life times or would if you cared to be paid back. But what about Pmurt Nedib and Yappa Yappa?" "I shall be getting that. But first, I learned some intriguing things from Regnes who contacted me to come here. You must join your heart with the other B-shots and B Daman." She then floats over to Pmurt Nedib: "You're that man who thinks he's a woman freak! You saved and healed Adam! How dare you go against your own status to help a inferior creature?"
"Is that what my close friend is to you? Your cruelty won't go unpunished. Your fight is with me now." She makes Pmurt Nedib and Yappa Yappa chase her high up before fighting against both of them with the aid of Dominic who just suddenly arrived. Hold on, my armor's fixed. She went that far? Just as expected from Miitopia's strongest Great Sage ever. Well, Grand Sage but whatever. Hell yeah, I'm going to be an annoyance again. I get in front of the B-shots who are now fighting right alongside one another. Even Basara is with them. Yukihide says to everyone: "Hold off the special moves! We'll build them up and use them at optimal strength! For now, preserve your strength! It'll be rough but we'll survive!" Chaos Wolg charges up on his own thanks to the energy inside the ender pouch he's stored away again in. That allows me to hold my sword in a blocking position and stubbornly resist everything Gillusion tries: "You mortals! I will destroy all of you and take over this world and beyond! Your deaths are the first step to my ultimate revenge! Spike Phoenix can't help you now, it's futile to resist me now!" Ouga replies: "Oh yeah! We'll see about that! Rawr! I'm so fired up, you guys! Let's go!" "Gillusion, good luck breaking my defense! I'm a knight and it is my duty to protect others with my life, my armor, and my sword! Who said I needed to attack to protect? My defenses are pretty strong too! Just look at me! You can't knock me back nor can you stop me! It's illogical to discourage me. I'm choosing to care right now and because I am, that means giving up isn't an option. Hurt me all you want but I will not allow you to hurt the others without destroying me first! I swear by my honor and conviction. Haaaaaa!"
I briefly look behind me as I take on a whole heap of damage and hurt. I won't be able to keep this up for long. Not when Gillusion is so powerful. The others are glowing. The B-shots and B Daman. What does this mean? Come on, just a little more until this can go right. Wait, I need to join in. I hope this works because my defenses will decrease since my sword has to be put away again now. I go out Chaos Wolg again and ponder over carrying him around more directly briefly before gripping on tightly to him with both of my hands. I can hear my armor cracking again. Again, crap. But then, Regnes and the other artists get in the way of the attacks hitting me so hard: "You have to stop Gillusion! We'll hold up for as long as we possibly can! Come on, all of you!" I reply: "Thank you for this opportunity to turn the fight around." It gets better. More B-shots and B Daman join our group such as Reiji and Strike Cobra. I feel like we're going to actually win now: "Come on comrades, we mustn't let up! Haaaaa!" Kamon asserts: "We fight for the same goal, we are one with our B Daman! Light the blaze, Ultimate Drive Garuburn!" Kakeru adds: "Us B Masters will show the way! Let the waves crash down, Ultimate Rising Dracyan!" Byakuga further adds: "Everyone, you must trust your B Daman completely! We can't do this without them! Shatter the entire galaxy! Go, Kreis Reidra!" Jenta additionally adds: "Don't worry about anything, just focus on doing what you can! Trust in yourselves to achieve victory! Blast through time eternal, Dashing Tankshell!"
Now, everyone who is holding a B Daman is glowing and the glow resembles the B Animals of each B Daman. They are the equivalent of bey spirits. "I will protect my pack! My friends have my back! Take them to the bullet! Go, Detonate Wolg!" Similar things are said and I'm among the last 4 to say such things: "Witness the power of bonds, chaos, and intricate planning and design! As a knight, I serve the people. And as Chaos Wolg's B-shot partner, I serve to help forge the path to a better world! Yes, I can call myself a B-shot now! Bring on the chaos upon those who dare inflict pain onto others for selfish reasons, Chaos Wolg!" After we all say something, the glowing intensifies even as my artist comrades are for the most part sent to the graveyard. Regnes stays strong and bares all the damage so I don't have to. The number and I nod to each other. But then, something else took place. The B Masters are the first to find themselves and their B Daman partners inside the respective B Animal spirits. I have never seen something like this before. Their power levels go off the charts, they are realizing the full power of the B Animals who have received blessings from ancient spirits connected to Spike Phoenix, the B Daman who first defeated Triple Gillusion: "You guys! The destiny of your world has been forcibly modified and yet, your world responds with it's greatest B Animals! Keep going! I can't speak for everyone but I'm with you. Let's create the end of Gillusion together! Chaos Wolg! I believe in you!" "I believe in you too! Let's bring on all that awesome chaos!" We have reached the wrapping up point. Suddenly, Spike Phoenix appears before us and surrounds the 4 B Masters with his own B Animal. That power. It's insane.
My skill Artist's Eye activates on its own again. This is getting good. Chaos Wolg's B Animal envelops the both of us in vision and power. Additionally, that power that's been quietly building inside of me manifests a little more than usual. A faint pink aura surrounds me and slightly adds to the power going into Chaos Wolg. Kakeru, Kamon, Byakuga, and Jenta, the 4 B Masters yell: "B-shots! Ready! Aim!" We join them in yelling: "Fireblast!" After that, we also shout: "Emblem Charge!" at the same time. As a result, our B Daman state their special moves and we say our usual words as well. Now, there are many super powered attacks headed straight for Gillusion: "No! I won't lose like this! Not again! I have waited to win for too long to be sealed away or destroyed again! I don't need Ryoma, I'll destroy all creation myself! Dominating Destruction!" Regnes is sent to the graveyard: "I'm sorry I wasn't enough to protect you." "Don't worry, comrade! This fight is going to end!" Gillusion pushes as hard as possible with his attack so that's what we do as well. We put our all into it. Come on, just a little more force. We can do this. Push, push, push! No, we're losing. Wait. Blaze activates the Miracle action card in front of us and joins in on the attack: "I thought you'd need some more help! I got everyone to join in! This is going to be the best, awoo!" The tide of battle returns to flow in our favor. Everything seems to become nothing as a blinding flash overtakes our retinas and a ringing sound circulates throughout our ears and into part of our brains. More specifically the temporal lobe. This is broken by the sound of glass breaking. But there's no glass anywhere, how is that possible? Oh well, we watch as Gillusion screams as he explodes. Myself and some others jump in front of the others: "Stand back! I don't want hydra goop on any of you. It's my job to take on that burden. After all, I'm partially responsible for the events that have transpired."
The explosion was instantaneous but I somehow still had time to say that. In the middle of the goop that has fallen onto Crestland and not Crossover or Sweets Island is an unconscious Ryoma and 3 number cards. As Kamon runs towards his brother, I run towards him too. Once I arrive, I revive Regnes with Monster Reborn to extract the numbers. After that is done successfully, I thank Regnes before deactivating my duel disk and stepping back for a brother to brother moment. Ryoma regains consciousness: "Kamon.. I'm so sorry for everything." "That doesn't matter to me! What matters is that you're okay! This is not you fault. Ryoma, I'm so happy!" Biara takes me aside: "Should we interrupt this? Faust and Genome are tracking Dragold from Link VRAINS. It's not good." "Let them have their moment. We all fought so hard for peace in this world. They need this and we need a little rest and healing before we head there." Basara talks to me next: "You're not so bad. You're not a punk." "Oh yes I am. But in a rock music way though honestly, I'm much of an introvert than a punk. But whatever. Going on about that is unnecessary. I hate extra at times." Bray and Dominic appear falling out of the sky. Blaze sees this too: "I'll save them!" The wolf speedily catches them and puts them down gently. They're beaten and unconscious. Pmurt Nedib appears with Yappa Yappa again: "We took care of these inferior losers. We didn't kill them because Yappa Yappa insisted that we wait until all of you could get to watch them die painfully. I relented because I need some fun in my life! Adam, freaks like you keep destroying my plans! It's stressful and I'm losing my patience with the remainder of my employees! We're leaving now, we'll kill whoever survives Dragold if you manage to kill him. But if you fail, we'll delight in your painful deaths! Toodles until then! Let's go, trusted employee!" Yappa Yappa replies: "Yes, master! This is going to better than any movie! We had movies on my homeworld until that wretched SDL ruined everything! Now that he's back, I will get my revenge!" "What did I tell you about hating him?"
They disappear through another portal after that. Subaru speaks up: "We should get going to West City. Dragold is waiting for us there somewhere." Kamon replies: "I agree but it's so far. How are we going to get there fast enough to prevent things from getting even worse?" I turn my attention to Blaze: "Blaze, please take Bray and Dominic back to Miitopia. After that, you must gather reinforcements and wait. Once we start losing badly, you must come to West City with them. Does that sound reasonable to you? Do you accept what I'm saying?" They nod and pick the two back up: "Will all of you be okay? I don't want to leave yet if I can help anyone recover." We all nod so they teleport back to Miitopia. In the meantime, Gelina looks at us all: "All of you could use some healing. Luckily, I know plenty of spells to help! Helping Heal!" She effortlessly heals us in an instant. We have the strength to keep going forward without a smile now. Biara speaks to the B-shot: "We have a way of getting there instantly. Just grab onto any of us. This won't hurt, I promise. I'm a doctor, I know what does and doesn't hurt." Basara doesn't buy it so I grab his arm and teleport us to West City. Following that, the others make it there too so we're all together again. The comrades who looked here in West City came to us in an instant. Everyone's here. That's great! Due to this, we can really begin making a change and difference in this area. The whole city is damaged. I look at Lavertus who is on his speedor as ShadoWind: "Lavertus, why is the city destroyed?" He laughs nervously: "Well, you know how Dragold took over WBMA headquarters? Well, I caught his attention. He chased me everywhere in the body of a child! What was I supposed to do? I couldn't ask for help!"
"Good grief. At least you didn't lie or hide anything. Does Cragger even trust you at this point?" "I'm not sure but Dragold is not here. He's at the WBMA headquarters." That's annoying. Basara starts going off on his own but Mitsuru stops him and grabs my hand. A minute later, we all teleport to the top of the WBMA to get this over with. I sigh at seeing Ryuji with super saiyan like golden hair and golden energy wings not to mention one bright red eye and half of his face cloaked in black. He greets us with a sadistic grin: "So you managed to defeat Gillusion. I'm not surprised, he was always lesser than Dragold. Dragold is king and you will obey him after we destroy all of you. Let's start off with Break Bomber for old time's sake. But this time, it'll be bigger than ever before." Suddenly, a gigantic Break Bomber appears before us. It is so big, tall, and wide that we can't see the other side of the rooftop or Ryuji. It's big enough to fit every B Daman in opposition to him and Dragold. This is already not going well. I sigh again and put Chaos Wolg on the field: "This is not going to be fun. Chaos Wolg, let's go with rapid fire mode. Possessed Ryuji never had enough patience for control shots as a strategy. And those long of shots kinda take a while to unleash." "Good plan. Let's work together to support the others and spread mayhem!" "I was thinking the same thing. We have to be careful. Dragold must have gotten Emblem upgrades. We won't be facing Smash Dragold. We'll be facing a greater Dragold. And that's trouble." Grandpa Takakura appears on a video screen: "I have no choice to present this competition. It's called Ultimate Break Bomber. We were planning to use this in a massive tag team battle to start the tournament to decide the next South Area B Master in Crestland. Half of the participants would have been eliminated in just 5 minutes. Here are the rules. There are 25 rows, you must get 13 points to win. You know how the rest goes. B-shots! Ready! Aim! Fireblast!"
The B Daman part of the battle begins. Even if we win, there's no way Dragold will let himself be defeated again. Immediately, Ryuji shouts: "Pound Dragold, Destroy Mode!" It appears to be power shots. Wait, control shots are perfect for countering them. We're going back to those. As the battle raged on, I focused on blocking and defending what I could. Chaos Wolg had no qualms about that so we just stuck with that strategy and managed to score 2 points anyway. But still, it was crazy. So much happened so fast that I'm just going to reflect on it instead of going into detail. Pound Dragold used control shots with a mode called Dominant Mode. Many moves were unleashed and I eventually pushed myself and Chaos to the time he nearly broke apart. After that, I was helpless and couldn't do anything else. Actually, I could have attacked Ryuji but I doubt that would have done anything and I have no reason to attack somebody who is just using the game too as of right now. It just wouldn't be cool or fair if I did, plain and simple. So much went on but eventually, there was only 1 point left to get, both sides were tied. In the end, Kakeru and the other B Masters won us the game. The B-shots start cheering because the game goes down to reveal a unconscious Ryuji. Or at least, it appeared that way. I knew better. Dragold wouldn't ever concede or be beat this easily after all of the power he has gained. No, no, no. Pmurt Nedib and Yappa Yappa show up again: "You won so you inferiors must die! Go, Yappa Yappa! Stab them and slice their heads right off for me! You'll get a raise and promotion for doing so!" Ryuji gets up but his face becomes Dragold's face: "They didn't win. Why would you say that I lost when we're partners now? Very upsetting. I demand answers and more power."
Yappa Yappa laughs: "It's all part of the plan. We're going to help you kill them all even though they haven't felt a taste of your full power." Pmurt Nedib adds: "That's right, we lied! The true battle begins here and now! And all of you freaks are going to die at the hands of your superiors! We will dominate this world! All B Daman and B-shots will be turned into Dragold's personal army. They will also gather resources for my company! It's a win win situation for us! Why kill you when we can use your bodies for our own reasons? It's brilliant! Now then, Yappa Yappa. Kill them. I will watch. If you need help, I will help and make sure as much suffering is inflicted as possible! Just you wait!" I don't want to wait. Yappa Yappa is mine. Before this part of the battle really began, a similar but less gross transformation happens to Ryuji. First, gold wings grow out of his shoulders by bursting through them. Then, a golden tail rips through the back of his pants. His shoes are destroyed as his feet become golden dragon feet that with very sharp claws. Razor sharp but even sharper. His legs grow immensely to drastically increase his height as does his neck. His arms and other body parts grow too. Now, Ryuji is a giant human with dragon wings, feet, and tail. His clothes are just shreds now. This is really bad. The greatly expanded and stretched human skin breaks apart to reveal Dragold in a giant form but with Ryuji's green eyes: "All of you will be crushed! After you're dead, I will turn your bodies into my servants. You'll be nice for punishing deviants for me. I am king and will become your king." I was about to reply but Yappa Yappa gets in front of me: "Hi, Adam! We have unfinished business! You didn't duel at your best! Let's duel again before I kill you!"
He activates his duel disk and triggers some sort of program to force my duel disk on. However, Herbsalvin charges in and knocks Yappa Yappa's duel disk out of his hands. It shatters upon hitting the ground: "Herbsalvin, what have you been doing? I haven't really seen you since we headed for the middle of Crestland!" "I was evacuating the many citizens in the area and licking some of that action field. That way, no one would get stuck besides Triple Gillusion." "That's great to hear. Now, would you care to help me take down Yappa Yappa?" "Of course! I cannot allow him to harm you nor any others. That is what I was taught in my life as a knight myself." Yappa Yappa groans: "I'm going to kill and play with you both then! Don't try flying or I will happily cut your wings off slowly but surely until you fall to your deaths!" The pegasus is horrified by that threat so I just hop onto them and we stay on the roof as they begin running. Now this is a knight moment. I unsheath my sword. It shines brightly due to the still bright sky which is slowly having storm clouds build up above us. That's not a good sign but we won't surrender. "Yappa Yappa! We'll defeat you! My strength and their speed plus our smarts and experience will be enough to bring you down! I won't hesitate to kill you ever again because I must kill you to stop you!" "I'm so jealous you got a mount! But at the same time, pegasi disgust me! I've always hated the flying horses, always! Killing one will be my absolute most pleasure! I just can't wait to do so and watch as you beg for me to spare you on top of a puddle of blood from your annoying horse friend!" "I won't hold back. Are you okay with me using my moves while riding you, Herbsalvin?"
"Go ahead. I'm hard to wound in battle. The armor from my past life went with me to this life. My lifespan will last several hundred more years and then I will go to Miitopia's afterlife for eternal peace." "Yappa Yappa! You're done for! Continuous Extremely Risky Spin Slash: 170!" 20 seconds of sending those out later, there's a hole in the roof but Yappa Yappa is unharmed. At the same time, the others are fighting Dragold. It's not going very well but I can't jump in to help. Doing so would be asking for Yappa Yappa to slice my throat open and into pieces. Damn it: "You'll have to do better than that! I'm going to enjoy watching you do nothing but hurt yourself!" "Herbsalvin, this isn't working at all! We may be dodging his attacks but I can't hit him. Fighting him one on one on the ground is a better approach. I'll take everything he throws at me. Please go help the others. The whole building could collapse underneath us soon if the ferocity of this battle continues to be this strong or even stronger. What a pain!" He nods and I get off of him to block a stab from Yappa Yappa's pitchfork swords. Sparks are sent flying as our blades continue to clash: "Today, revenge will be mine! Once I have you down and helpless, I'm going to slowly deprive you of everything! First, I'll crush your sword. Then it'll be your armor. After that, your fingers. I'll keep going until your a mangled corpse whose identity can't be discovered! Today will be the best day ever for me! I'll cut your eyeballs while they're still in their sockets! Ready to have fun dying?" "No, I refuse to die or lose as easily as you claim I would. That's not how a knight does things. Let you kill me? Don't be ridiculous. You'll have to beat me badly first. You can try all you want but you'll have to earn the ability to kill me without me being able to FIGHT BACK! I won't give in! You can break me as much as you want but as long as I live, I will keep fighting and resisting you until one of us is dead." "I'm glad you won't give! That will make killing you so much more fun! I'm going to delight in this so much!" For a while, we just keep fighting even though my muscles are burning like lava is scorching them or something.
Regardless, I must keep going no matter what. If I die too quickly, the others won't be able to take down Dragold. Then, Yappa Yappa pulls a dirty trick, transforming his hands and arms into electrified plasma that looks kind of like a pair of electric eels. With them, I am hit with many volts of electricity as our weapons clashed again. I'm stunned for a few seconds, just long enough for Yappa Yappa to stab through my neck: "Ow! This hurts so much!" However, Bray shows up unhurt: "I won't let you kill my friend! I shall not allow you to harm them in any way! You'll be fighting with me again!" Pmurt Nedib gets in the way just as reinforcements arrive: "I'm going to deal with you sage freak myself along with your other freaky friends who just showed up! You're all going to die so Dragold can turn your bodies into his puppets! Inferior creatures like all of you deserve to be nothing more than puppets, that's all you're good for! God bless America!" "More like Ra fuck America!" "I don't care what inferior creatures like you say. It's all meaningless to me because we're going to kill all of you and it will be as painful and miserable as possible!" Damn it. I'm healed now but facing against Yappa Yappa alone. The individuals fighting Dragold are losing. I have to stop Yappa Yappa and help them. "You're not the only one with dirty tricks! I'm not afraid to use some when it's life or death during a one on one physical battle! *puts away sword and gets out Chaos Wolg* Take this!" I launch marbles at his stomach in a rapid fire manner. He may have strong skin but this causes him to have a temporary tummy ache. Taking advantage of this, I put the B Daman away again and pull out my sword once more before kicking him in the nether region: "That hurts! Oh well, playing with you will be even more fun now that I know you'll go this far! I can't wait to defeat you and make you watch me cut your throat and so much else, only stabbing your eyeballs during your last few moments! I'm going to win and you won't stop me from killing you!" A familiar voice cuts in: "Or maybe you won't. Master has better uses for my lookalike from Earth." "Who said that? I'll kill you first since you want to get in my way!"
Warrior Adam, my mii. Shit. Still has a BIM mark and everything. Yappa Yappa sees them too: "I remember you! You helped try to kill that finger after we failed to!" "That's right. My master knows all. He's a good master. He knows how to be a master master. He has plans for my lookalike and they don't include you killing hi-" "Them! If you're going to join a cult about a apple, the least you can do is respect my identity!" "I don't need to, it's not in my master's interest. You're going to do the BIM and like it someday! For now, I'm going to help you defeat Yappa Yappa! Once I'm done, he'll be asking for a bite of the holy apple, the sacred apple. The apple that brings truth and BIM to all!" I sigh again: "Just help me. We can settle this later. I want you to come back to Miitopia obeying no master. You don't need a master. I don't have one. Maybe if you understood the pain that BIM causes, maybe then you'd understand why BIM is bad." Yappa Yappa groans: "This is boring and not fun! Shut up so we can get to the part I kill both of you slowly without mercy! You'll cry and scream for me to stop or just end your miseries! It'll be far better than riding any roller coaster and more satisfying than a feast!" My mii does something extraordinary: "With BIM as my guide, I will embody all Miitopian jobs at once! Behold my new job, the Apple!" What? Yappa Yappa is also uncharacteristically confused: "What kind of boring unfun things did you just say? I'm going to kill you first for this! You are disgusting! So much in fact that I'm not even jealous you have so many different combat skills!" Several minutes of fighting later, Yappa Yappa is defeated and on the ground. My mii forces an apple into Yappa Yappa's mouth. To make sure he eats it, they cast a spell of some kind and scratch his skin a little bit. After our foe eats it, Warrior Adam sticks a BIM mark on his forehead.
He gets back up with a blank expression on his face: "How may I serve Master Boogaloo, Messenger Warrior Adam? I will kill any he needs killed and it will be fun." "For now, just kill your old master. Kill Pmurt Nedib. He'll love that! I'm taking my leave now, master is calling me back." "I understand. I will kill Pmurt Nedib! Master will be even more pleased than I will be!" Before Warrior Adam can leave, I grab onto them: "You're not going anywhere! You belong back in Miitopia, not with Boogaloo's International Music! Come home with me and see your real friends again!" "I don't listen to people who aren't my master." "And I don't take orders." I try to keep them around and threaten them with my sword but they just end up leaving. Crap! I'm going to help destroy BIM one day! And I wouldn't be opposed to working with the UMC to do that as long as it meant they didn't hurt anyone during the fight against Boogaloo and his brainwashed servants. After all, BIM is seriously a huge problem. But now, Pmurt Nedib is angrily fighting Yappa Yappa whose new BIM mark is glowing very brightly. This frees up everyone else to help fight Dragold: "How dare inferiors get in my way? They took you away from me, Yappa Yappa! I'm going to raid and destroy Boogaloo International Music! At least that mission will be successful! I can't wait! Listen to me, I'm your master, not that inferior apple loving freak! Don't you remember? I took you in! Remember how lost you were? Don't you recall? Answer me or else!" "Why would I return to you? You haven't eaten the sacred apple. And you don't have a BIM mark. Killing you is going to be so much fun! It will be slow and as painful as possible! Your screams will fill me with delight! And no one will come to save you!" "Who spilled the secrets to let you become far more powerful than the average god until you were killed? I did! Fine! Since you won't listen, let me state something to you! I hate you! I resent you! You are such a burden! I've been using you! I loved having you as my oblivious pawn but I just can't keep having that, can I?"
Yappa Yappa's mostly blank expression becomes one of shock and rage briefly. But then, he just looks on indifferently: "It doesn't matter. I had so much fun thanks to you! But master wants you dead so I'm going to kill you and enjoy doing it!" "No you won't! Oh btw, I see you watching us over there instead of helping your fellow inferior creatures, Adam! I suggest you help them! Oh wait, you can't! My valued and loyal employees, kill Adam while I kill this brainwashed traitor!" Hundreds of UMC troops show up from out of nowhere and start attacking me. There's so many but they're so weak individually that taking them out is easy. So easy that I can keep watching while also fighting. I'm stuck though so what else can I do? By the time I have beaten all the troops, Pmurt Nedib has seemingly won the fight with Yappa Yappa. I struggle to get out of the unconscious crowd to join the others but still keep watching the two fight. Yappa Yappa now looks about to win but: "Haha! I tricked you, traitor and useless former pawn of mine! My shareholders will hate me for this but you leave me with no other options! It's most profitable if I stay alive after all! Die, Yappa Yappa! Your life will end because you're useless, inferior, brainwashed, and easily fooled! I haven't shown even 1% of my power! Now try 100%!" Yappa Yappa is instantly killed after that. Pmurt Nedib picks up his corpse: "I still need you, Yappa Yappa. You're perfect for my future plans. The procedures to heal and revive you not to mention rewire your brain to erase what that mii did to you will cost billions but it will profit us immensely! You'll be my happy little pawn again soon enough! I can't win today without you. Attention all UMC troops, return to base immediately! We're leaving this world to die on its own!"
He disappears through a portal as do all the UMC troops, even the ones that were taken down. I choose to not process what just happened. We still have to stop Dragold from killing all of us. I join the others in fighting him, having had a nice rest of sorts thanks to easy fights and watching what just happened: "Sorry I'm late, everyone. Some shit happened. We can talk about later. Right now, we must stop Dragold." Immediately, I find Bray and stick with her. Together, we become a nearly unbeatable duo. She heals me and cast spells while I literally break myself in ways that wouldn't normally be remotely possible. Additionally, Shope catches up with me: "Adam! I heard what has happened to you! I'm glad you're okay! Would you like a little girl power to back you up?" "That's a great idea! I wonder why you chose to seek me out and offer to help me." "Don't mind me, I'm just trying to repay you for all the help you have given us in Cornberry and beyond." "So that's what's going on. Oh well, our combined brain power is formidable so we'll be good. Hey Bray, how's your magic holding up?" "It's doing well. But remember. Once I start getting exhausted, you'll have to cease breaking your body so dramatically. I shall do my best to not get exhausted however." "Challenge accepted. Let's bring on the attacks to Dragold." In essence, all I'm doing besides talking and thinking is swinging my sword at Dragold whenever I can't form and release Great Infernal Tornado Slash. As of right now, my body is being healed far too fast to feel any pain. When I look at Dragold, I see something really bad though."
He even says: "Foolish mortals, you can't hope to defeat me. I am king. I am supreme. Gillusion was not as powerful as I am, I could have defeated him myself. Dragons are the most powerful B Daman and I'm the most powerful of dragons. Now you will know my power and tremble before it as I kill all of you myself. Pmurt Nedib has called off our agreement. He will be next. I will find him. And there's nowhere any of you can run or hide that can save you from me. I have learned all moves used by your lowly B Daman. Therefore, you can't beat me. Golden Dragon Gale Shot. Golden Dragon Judgement. Golden Quantum Drive. Rising Goldendrive." He goes onto doing copies of all of our B Damans' attacks. This results in a lot of damage being dealt. Or would have if it weren't for Bray's barrier that she cast. Thanks to it, we can battle safely for now until it breaks. She can't use any magic to reinforce it because she's attacking while also helping me break far past my physical limits without becoming a corpse blob. That is not a pleasant image. Bray's barrier breaks so Dragold sends all of us back by using all those attacks again. Damn it. If Bray loses consciousness and I don't stop in time, I'm dead! The B-shots have been trying to do damage but it hasn't been working. Their B Daman don't even tickle Dragold. We're in a state of crisis. If this keeps up, we're all going to die together and it's going to be painful and swift as it will be. So what now? Wait, Drawing Destruction. Maybe that's how we can begin doing noticeable damage at long last: "Bray! There's another special attack I've been working on that destroys my body. It's a evolution of Drawing Destruction. Will you back me up and support me in using it instead?" "Of course. I shall support you till we cease to exist! And I know you feel the same way. I'm intrigued, go for it!" "In that case, it's time! I call this attack Drawing Devastation! Haaaaa! It tests my physical accelerate, strength, and endurance all at once and destroys it all if I don't have help! You won't be able to be left unhurt after this, Dragold!"
"Do your worst. It won't make a difference." But it does make a difference. My attack calls for me to move really fast to deliver so many consecutive slashes that an untrained eye could never hope to follow the motion of my attacks and am experiences one would have to concentrate to. Additionally, I can use my armor to deal extra damage to large adversaries such as Dragold while performing the attack. So I do that and in the end, there are now multiple vulnerable points. Good. That's exactly what the others need to attack and actually do some damage. Perfect. It's all coming into place now. Thank goodness. Just some time more and the decline of Dragold will gradually begin. I use that same attack several times in a row until Bray says: "I can't keep up, Adam! You're moving too fast for me to be able to heal you soon!" I slow down and apologize before switching to Great Infernal Tornado Slash all over again. We outsiders have certainly earned a lot of respect. I hope it's enough to stop Dragold. Pmurt Nedib is going to get it for all of this. And to think, this whole situation is rooted into society ignoring a young individual who turned into the Dark Curse and possessed both Melvin and Bray. Unbelievable. It seriously goes that far back. The tide of battle is turning towards our favor but I have a feeling that this fight is far from over. By the time we're done, the Sun will probably be setting. A poetic way to end a battle but that would mean we've been here all day. Good thing I had an early lunch or else my hunger would have caused me to perish by way of distraction by now.
Outro: And there you have it! Part 2 of the B Daman arc! I wasn't expecting to have BIM get involved but that's what I came up with. I planned on having Yappa Yappa only dying twice more after Swiftdrawer killed him but I guess that means he's dying 4-5 times by a certain point. I'm okay with that though. He's the most relatable main villain I've created because he isn't just a natural asshole. He's a victim of misery and revenge twisted him up. As of right now, this story won't be finished until August of next year so be ready for a lot more stuff! Until next time, bye bye!
