Whitestar and Daisypetal
It was a dark night, stars sparkled in the night sky and the moon was full. Whitestar was sitting at the edge of highrock and was looking up at the sky and was troubled. Ever since he learned about the prophecy and the ominous warnings Cloudberry had told him, he was worried that Lightclan would be in peril. What's worse was that his own son had threatened his life, but surprisingly, he had forgiven him, but something told Whitestar to not believe that. The omens told Cloudberry that a white light was going to kill a daisy, a snake, and a white stone; Whitestar couldn't help but wonder if the daisy meant Daisypetal. He had to admit, he had grown to like Daisypetal; even if they had disagreements about Lightclaw. For the past few moons, Whitestar and Daisypetal has gotten to know each other more and it was starting to turn to love. Whitestar wasn't sure what to tell Brightshine, Lightclaw, Stormeyes, Blizzardpelt, or Shinefur, he had already gone through two mates; one he was forced to mate but broke it off and the other was a cat he really loved but died when she gave birth to his kits. He really didn't want to go through that again, the pain of loosing Riverstripe was hard for Whitestar and the thought of loosing Daisypetal to childbirth again would be devastating; that is, if they were ever going to have kits. Daisypetal climbed onto the highrock and approached Whitestar. She sat next to him and looked up; wondering why Whitestar looked trouble.
"Is something wrong?" she asked.
"E…Everything's fine." Whitestar signed.
He looked down and was troubled. Daisypetal's expression changed to serious.
"Obviously it's not, tell me what's wrong!" she demanded.
"It's just,…I'm worried about the prophecy." Whitestar explained.
"You're worried about that, Whitestar? Nothing has happened and Lightclaw has already forgiven us." Daisypetal meowed.
"Do you actually believe that, Daisypetal?" Whitestar asked skeptical.
"No, of course not." She admitted.
"I don't know, something seems off. I know it took a few tries to try to apologize to Lightclaw, but for him to accept it just like that…something seems off." Whitestar meowed suspicious.
"Maybe Lightclaw has had enough of fighting you?" Daisypetal suggested.
"Perhaps, but still, I can't help but worry about the prophecy." Whitestar meowed.
Daisypetal laid her head on Whitestar's chest. Whitestar smiled and laid his head on top of Daisypetal's.
"I love you." Daisypetal meowed.
"I love you too." Whitestar purred.
After a few moments of cuddling each other, both cats looked down at the clan somberly.
"Should we tell them?" Daisypetal asked.
"They'll figure it out." Whitestar meowed.
"I mean your kits." Daisypetal corrected.
"Brightshine…Brightshine will be overjoyed." Whitestar meowed.
"What about Lightclaw?" Daisypetal asked.
"Hopefully…Hopefully Lightclaw will accept it." Whitestar signed.
