Chapter Six

Nami

"This is your apartment from now on. The Hokage put me in mission to supervise you so expect to see me everytime." Genma-kun stated. I shrugged. It's better than nothing.

"It's okay. Thank you so much, Genma-kun." I smiled at him then look what's inside the house.

He says nothing. I rose my brow about the design. It's rude to say but I love Sunny more. This house is empty. Without my friends, it's not my home. It's just a house.

There's a simple living and dining in this space then there's a bathroom at the side. There are two door. I enter the first one and saw a simple bed, table, cabinet. I enter the second one, saw an vacant room, as in it's empty. I smirk when I thought about what I am putting here. And the last one, on the back. It's a kitchen area. I remembered that this is the favorite place of Sanji-kun. I sigh.

I wonder if my friends are here with me. Staying in one place together. I think It'll be fun. I mean, yes. We're all together in Sunny but this is different. In here, we're not a pirate. It's fun and we enjoy being a pirate because we're pirate to achieve our goal. Our dream. For freedom.

When I finished to study the house, I saw Genma-kun sitting behavely with a stick in his mouth, I automatically remember Luffy, I saw him one time with a stick in his mouth. I smile. I really missed Luffy. He thinks it's cool for a ninja to have something like that. My idiotic captain, hay...

"Ano... Genma-kun... I need to buy groceries..." I stated shyly. Don't blame me! I cried in front of him because of my babies!

He lift his head to look at me. He stood and walked out without saying anything. I shrugged. He's nothing but with Zoro's attitude.

I followed him and catch up beside him. I looked around and saw some civilian doing their things.

When we arrived at the first store, the old lady greet us. She praise how look good is Genma-kun. I agree, he look really good. When she glance at me, my eyes twitched when she look at my outfit disgusted. But she smiled immediately. Maybe because it's her first time to see a lady wearing what I'm wearing.

"How pretty you are, young lady." Her tone sounds sincere so I just gave him a smile and list down what I needed.

It's just some toiletries, some decorations for the apartment, for the kitchen, living room, and my room. It's pretty heavy because I bought a lot. Genma-kun did something about the things I bought. He place it to the paper and disappeared. He says, it's a storage scroll. I understand it immediately.

We arrived at the food plaza. I bought some fresh foods like meat, oh I remember luffy... chicken, fishes, eggs, milk, breads. Genma-kun put it to storage scroll again. He says, it's a waste for a sweat to carry such.

I rolled my eyes to his reply. His so lazy!

I shrugged, I already have a lot of clothes but I can't resist myself to buy more!

I pick clothes whatever pretty and in sized for me. I was now in the counter when I glance at Genma-kun and saw him standing at the entrance, waiting. When he look at me, I sign him my point finger to come at me and he did. His hands on his pocket and slowly chewing his stick. Wow he looks hot.

I smile at him slyly. "You have money there?"

He look at me annoyed. "None, I don't need it anyway," he calmly said which cause my brows connected.

I look at the lady, she's waiting for my payment.

"Ne, miss beautiful... Give me a 100% discount" I said while smiling. The lady and Genma-kun looked at me like I was some crazy witch. Genma-kun sigh, while the lady start explaining about the discount.

"H-huh? Eh... There's no discount here, miss. We're not on sale today..."

My eyes twitched. I look at her demonly. "You're not giving me a discount...?" The lady froze from panic. I heard Genma-kun sigh but not saying anything. I sigh. I took my baton from my hips. "Zeus come ou-" Genma cut me. He placed his hand on hand who is handling the baton to stop what am I doing. I look at him confused and annoyed at the same time. "What the heck is your problem?"

He sigh again and shook his head. "What a drag..." He muttered. I heard that you-! He look at the lady who's still in froze. "I'll pay." Two words cane out from his mouth cause me to hug his nape. He looked startled

"Kya! You're so kind! That's my Genma-kun! Hora, pay it faster." I let go of him.

"Y-yeah. Here." He gave the right amount to the lady. His ears is red. Is he shy? Is it his first time to hug by a girl? Ah, poor Genma-kun...

When he gave me the one fourth of the bags, I carried it outside. Waa, I'm so happy. I saved some money for later!

I walked at the street happily while Genma-kun is behind me. I waited for him to catch up on me. I want um, atl east to start a conversation with him.

"Ne, Genma-kun." I called.

He hummed. "What?"

"You'll keep me safe, right? Kakashi assign you to protect me, right?" I asked pleaded.

I want to assume. That at least, there's someone to be by my side in this place. I know, I'm not that strong, that's why I want protection. What if there's an another war is about to happen? Just like what Naruto describe? I know Zeus is with me. I'm not alone but he's not from here too.

Let's say Kakashi. But it's not possible. He's a Hokage. He leaded this place. There's so many people who needed his protection so I don't want to add.

I waited for his response until I heard his sigh. "No." He harshly said. My mouth hang open. I was about to say something when he start explaining. "Lord Six assigned me to look for you yes, but it's more like to make sure you're not a threat here. You're a completely stranger here and they want to make sure to protection of the Village not yours." He said coldly.

I instantly look at my feet. Ouch. My heart feels like it's crushing. I was again to say something when he cut me again.

"You better be thankful for the hospitality. We're still not move on from the war and we're still-" I cut him this time.

I smile at him closed eyes. "Hai. I understand. I just want an assurance but I guess there's no chance... Hai, thank you for the hospitality. I appreciate that." I stop myself to choke. My throat feels weird. I walked faster until I arrived at the apartment. It's already night. I'm tired.

I open the door and wait for him. He place my things to the couch silently.

Without looking at him, "Thank you for this day. Please lock the door before you leave, goodnight." I walked towards my room and lock it. I place my self at the bed. Pillow kissing my face.

I want to go home. I want to go back to my crew.

My eyes started watering without my permission.

I know, I'm such a coward. It's because I'm not a fighter. I'm not like Luffy who is strong. Am not like Zoro who is physically strong. I'm not a fighter! I'm fighting just for my friends! Don't blame for protection. It's because in my crew, we're protecting each other. And to be honest, I'm the only one who needed protection in the crew. I'm the only one who is weak! Usopp gotten strong not like me. I'm just a lady with a knowledge. Robin is not a coward like me. Chopper is strong and I'm proud of them. I'm not like Yamato who is dependable.

I'm not able to defeat Ulti without Zeus, Usopp, and Yamato's help.

I sobbed when I thought about it.

"Guys... I want to... To go back..."

Sorry for the wrong grammar and spelling. I'm still learning and still 16 year old so please understand...I put a happy and sad scene, i hope you felt it huhuhu. NOT EDITED
