It's been a while since I came back to this story. Looking back at this, reception has been positive. However, there have been problems throughout. So, I decided to rewrite the entire story in another one. There have been reasons why.
Reason 1: Re-structuring. Writing the entire story in one chapter is very taxing to both me and the readers since going through one sitting is a bit unorganized. So, I decided to add more chapters.
Reason 2: Expansion. Related to the previous reason, I felt like there could have been more expanding to the scenes. In regards to the character interactions, descriptions, inner thoughts and the like. I'll probably add it to around the 2000 to 3000 word count since that is the average word count per chapter. It's more content for readers and less stress for me.
Reason 3: Name change. I never realized that there was another character called Sebastian as the series went on. I actually contemplated whether or not I should change Seba's name. On one hand, characters could be differentiated with Seba and Bastian since it would makes easier to distinguish. On the other hand, I felt like I could've been more creative and have a character with a more original name. In the end, I decided to change it since the "One Steve Limit" trope can be a bit of a hassle. Fun fact: Seba is named after the character Seba Nile from the Saga of Darren Shan.
Well, that's all I can think of at the time. So be on the lookout for the new story. I'm keeping the old one uploaded until then.
