Hi everyone! First things first I wanted to say thank you for all the love and support it means a lot. I'm trying my absolute best to make this story as enjoyable and good as I can.

Though, if I can I'd like to respond to a certain review I got.

The first point was addressing how if Adam being a Vice Captain and knowing the battle between Fairytail and Phantom didn't try to arrest Gajeel regardless if Makarov wishes and hopes for Gajeel.

Well I'll be explaining this in more detail in this chapter coincidentally but to summarize. This is nobody's fault but Fairytail's really because of the lack of explanation unless you really look for it and because it's the main one you see throughout the series.

But there's multiple different branches of Rune Knight divisions, the Custody Enforcement Unit is not just the only one. For example if you've watched the show during the lullaby arc the Rune Knights outside the train station look, act, and have abilities (or lack off) that are different from the Knights shown at the end of the Oracion Seis arc. Still both are Rune Knights.

So once i realized that, after weeks on thinking what other Branches could be like. i ended up coming up with the Guardian point with that is that Adam's job isn't the same as the Custody Enforcement Unit even with his position as Vice Captain.

Plus during the last episode of the Phantom Lord Arc, it explains how the Council actually went and talked with members of Fairytail and ended up arresting Jose along with disbanding Phantom Lord all together. Hence why Juvia and Gajeel were even there to begin with and not locked up to be able to join the guild in the first place in Canon.

This is also why I wanted to start the story timeline wise a little after those events happened and before they finished rebuilding the Guildhall. Chapter 1 would probably take place in cannon in between the last episode of the Phantom Lord arc and right before Loke's Arc. Just wanted to clarify that for you because I understand how it can be confusing sometimes it definitely was for me when I first came up with the concept XD

And yes spoiler Adam and Levy will be pretty good friends for the most part due to their liking of books and being nerds lol.

Honestly I don't have much else to say just wanted to get that out the way. But without further ado here we go.

Chapter 4: Surprise Visitor

Magnolia: Fairytail Guildhall

It's the following day after the introduction of Adam Alastair and the arrogant grandson to Guild Master Makarov; Laxus Dreyar, alongside his suppose to be occasional partner Gajeel Redfox. Currently, the young man is on the 2nd floor of the building on a Lacrima call smiling and laughing the minutes away.

"Well, I'm just happy that you're doing a lot better." Adam says as he's on a call with a man with short brown hair in a small ponytail with a bandage on his nose.

"Yeah you know me, always getting caught up in something. Thankfully there's nothing I can't handle." The man says laughing awkwardly while rubbing the back of his head.

"Dad seriously." Adam says sounding somewhat stern and serious. "You need to be more careful, or you're gonna give both me and mom a heart attack one of these days with the expeditions you're on."

"Trust me he already does!" A voice can be heard in the background on the other end which is none other than Cynthia Alastair.

The individual Adam is on the phone with is Tenzen Valois Alastair, Adam's father. Tenzen is an Archeologist and Scientist, typically he's away for long periods at a time on trips and expeditions to ancient magical sites and trying to discover new things. Though this passion of his can be awfully dangerous because he falls in the 10% of the population that can't use magic. So he's always getting hurt on these trips.

Adam sighs shaking his head at the sound of his moms voice tuning in as it does nothing but amplify his concern he's already had for his father. "Adam!" A voice calls out which he recognizes as Mirajane. The Vice Captain stands up and looking over the railing at the first floor and looks down and is very surprised by what he sees.

"Wow this place sure looks cozy." A female with dark purple hair and tanned skin wearing an outfit that you would see royalty from Desierto wear, which leaves very little to the imagination. Though she has a white cloak present to most Rune Knight Division Commanders but her gem holding the cloak together is purple unlike the standard green. And on the back of the cloak reads the kanji for Commander on the back.

(Egyptian Queen clothing, Desierto = Egypt keep that in mind, even though I'll remind you about that later)

Present with her as well is a giant red cobra next to her with its hood showing looking around the guild hall as most of the guild is looking at the pair on high alert. (Also think cubellios minus the wings and bigger in both mass and size)

"It seems as if you have a visitor for you." Mirajane says looking up at him smiling. "Yeah I see that." Adam says slowly. "Dirsi? What are you doing here?" Adam says confused to see her of all people here.

This newest arrival at the Fairytail Guild is none other than Dirsi Menes Ophidia. A Division Commander from the Guardian Unit, who is also the little sister to Captain Ozymandias Menes.

"Well I just got done with an assignment not too far away from Magnolia, so I decided I'd come see my favorite Vice Captain." Dirsi says smiling at Adam licking her lips at the young man.

Adam goes over to where he was sitting and grabs the communication lacrima off the table before walking over to the railings again. "Hey dad sorry to cut things short, I'll call you back when I get the chance."

Tenzen nods. "No problem kiddo, take care of yourself." He says responding, though before he hangs up Cynthia jumps into the frame smiling and waving.

"Bye honey be safe." She says wearing an aprons and wearing gloves making it pretty obvious she was cooking something.

"I will bye mom, bye dad." Adam says hanging up. Immediately his full attention is present on Dirsi as he jumps over the second railing landing on the first floor looking at Dirsi. He then proceeds to walk over to her sighing knowing what's about to happen, as Dirsi begins smiling heavily and lick her lips.

Adam sighs crossing his arms taking the defensive position against his peer. "Dirsi can we skip our usual introductions, for the sake of everyone else here." He exclaims with his eyes looking around the guild.

Instantly her smile turns into a pout. "You've got to be joking, gone for a couple of days and become a whole different person how cute." She says with a very sexual undertone though still upset. "Ugh! Fine whatever that just means you owe me a match when you get back." Adam nods as he turns to Mirajane.

"Mira this is Dirsi Ophidia, she's a Division Commander for Guardian Unit. Specifically the Medical Division also known as the 4th Division." Adam explains as Mirajane nods.

The snake that's next to Dirsi moves over in front of Adam before the 8 ft tall snake lowers itself a but in front of him. Adam rubs the top of his head as the snakes hood begins to retract clearly not on guard anymore.

"And this beauty of a beast is Pharaoh a Gizian King Cobra, the only male besides my brother who'll defend me with his life." Dirsi says laughing borderline psychotic. Mirajane sweat drops at the woman as she looks at the snake.

"But on a serious note, what brings you all the way out here? I doubt it was just for a simple chat, you could've called for that." Adam says crossing his arms sounding someone suspicious of her.

A visible tick appears on Dirsi's head. "So you're not in the least happy to see me, instead your just gonna interrogate me?" She exclaims sounds very annoyed and upset.

Before Adam could even get a word out she cuts him off. "Well if you MUST know, I'm coming up with a medical equipment for the 4th with some help from Indria and the 5th. A town a couple stops over has some herbs that should aid with the research. So being in the area I wanted to pay my favorite a visit If you must know!" She says before also crossing her arms.

"Alright I get it. I'm a jerk, I'm sorry." Adam says to Dirsi who rolls her eyes. "So where's Kogure? You have her waiting outside or something?"

"Kogure is with Indria and Lapis in the town I mentioned with some members from the 4th and 5th." Dirsi explains to him as Adam nods understanding.

"You know it's funny that you seem so curious about Kogure of all people not being here, I'm glad you haven't forgotten about us yet. Atleast not entirely anyway." Dirsi says to the young man who looks confused by her statement."You should be glad that we haven't forgotten about you. Especially own your little sister huh."

Adams eyes widen at her point and Dirsi realizes that she's right shaking her head. "Little sister?! You have a little sister Adam?"

"Well it's not his actual sister by blood, but Adam took her in as his own flesh and blood. You know when she found out I was coming so close to Magnolia, she almost ripped both me and Oz's head off trying to see you." Dirsi says crossing her arms talking to Mirajane but Adam is lost in his thoughts.

'Reign... Shit ... has she just escaped my mind this entire time somehow? I know she's pissed at me especially since during my assignment to Minstrel I had to destroy my old lacrima as a safety precaution in case I got caught.'

'Fuck! And my first stop back was home and I was so distracted with dad's injuries when I went to the Era I came straight back to Iris and didn't even stop at HQ... Alongside this whole Fairytail thing... Yeah she's gonna kill me.' He finishes thinking realizing the hole he's put himself in.

"Well you gonna introduce me to everyone else?" She asks him making him snap from his thought.

"Uhhh no...? Why would I do that?" Adam asks confused. "Well I mean everyone's eyes are on the two of you." Mirajane points out to Adam who looks around the guildhall to in fact see most of the guild staring at them.

Adam takes a deep breathe in and exhales trying to keep calm not liking all of the attention on him. "Come on let's get outta here." He tells her as she doesn't get a chance to respond as he's holding her wrist dragging her out the guildhall with Pharaoh following behind the pair.

Meanwhile Gajeel who was also on the second floor watching the entire interaction between the two is surprised. "Who would've guessed pretty boy actually has some pretty strong friends." He says to a young girl light blue hair.

"Indeed." The girl states agreeing with Gajeel. "Juvia can't tell how strong that woman is, but she's definitely stronger than Juvia."

This young lady is Juvia Lockster, another new addition to the Fairytail Guild along with Gajeel. She just recently got back from "chasing true love" as she put it.

Upon saying that Juvia realizes something and looks at Gajeel. "Have you been able to feel any of Adam's magic power since you've met him?" Juvia asks the Iron Dragon Slayer. Gajeel shakes his head to her question.

"Nope." He says plainly leaning back into the couch he's sitting on. "Granted I haven't even known him for a full 24 hours, but now that you mention it. Even yesterday when I was standing right next to him, if I couldn't smell him or wasn't right next to him. I wouldn't have even known he was there."

Juvia nods. "It's almost like he's very tranquil, typically you'd be able to give even a rough estimate of how strong somebody is by the small amount of Ethernano we all leak from our bodies. But even Juvia can't feel any coming off of him."

Gajeel listening to Juvia is now interested in to why that may be the case, stands up and proceeds to walk away without saying a word. "Hey! Where are you going?" Juvia asks him as Gajeel turns so she can see half of his face. "Im gonna follow him, something doesn't seem right." He says as continues on his path.

At first Juvia was just going to let him leave by himself but understanding Gajeels interest in trying to figure out the answer to her question and her wanting to know decides to follow behind him.

Magnolia: Shopping District

Adam and Dirsi are currently walking and talking through Magnolia's Shopping District located in the North-Eastern part of town not too far from the Guild Hall.

"Wait hold on. So Leonidas ended up destroying the entire building before Tiberius could even get inside?" Adam asks laughing at the story Dirsi is telling him. Pharaoh is infront of them a few feet gathering a lot of attention from the locals.

"Yep." She says laughing too. "Oz was pissed but luckily for Leonidas he did end up catching them all by surprise and beat them. So in the end alls well that ends well right."

"And that's why we don't send the 3rd and 2nd Divisions on joint operations, it never goes as planned." Adam finishes as Dirsi nods as they continue talking. "I definitely need to stop back at HQ to reconfigure our lacrima's together."

In the background is Gajeel and Juvia wearing funny disguises tailing behind them at a distance. "So...? Can you hear what they're saying." Juvia asks him knowing the Dragonslayer has excellent ears.

"They're just talking about their Divisions and what they've been up to. Apparently they have like 7 different ones, I remember the girl saying earlier she's the commander of the 4th...with the hospital..? or medical? Something like that." Gajeel says forgetting towards the end.

"They're talking about the Commander from the 2nd who deals with Intelligence and the Commander of the 3rd who deals with National Security who had a mission together." Gajeel explains as Juvia nods as they continue to follow to moving pair through the crowd.

"Though could you explain why the hell im wearing a stupid disguise!" Gajeel shouts to her but she covers his mouth and turns them both facing the other direction so avoid being recognized if Adam and Dirsi turn around.

Luckily for them that didn't happen as the pair didn't even hear Gajeel's outburst. "Because it's weird we're following him so we have to be stealthy."

While Adam and Dirsi have momentarily stopped infront of a street vendor Pharaoh who's next to Dirsi hisses rapidly flicking his tongue, something that Dirsi notices

She immediately looks at Adam and starts clinging to his arm. "Can we go somewhere more private pretty please... I really want to blow off some steam." She says smirking sound very sexual to Adam looks at her funny.

"Huh? Why?" Adam asks her knowing exactly what she is insinuating. "You know why, I'm craving for some action and literally only you can please me and you know this." She says sounding very seductive and leaning more into her arm.

Gajeel chokes on air hearing the conversation going on between the two. "Fine... Only because I know you'll cause a scene either here or at HQ if you don't get your way." Adam says agreeing to her offer as she smiles. "I know a place we can go, it's on the outskirts of Magnolia. Nobody should be able to bother let alone hear your screaming." She says.

"Come on it's this way." Dirsi says as she begins to take him away walking more to the East.

"Gajeel what's the matter?" Juvia asks as she's noticed him now turn heavy crimson red. Gajeel doesn't respond as he's kind is currently running all over to place.

"What the hell? Bookworm is seriously in a relationship with that?! Imagine having all of that to work w-"

Gajeel is taken out of his thoughts by Juvia smacking him in the back of his head. "What happened? Why are you all red? What did they say?"

The Iron Dragon Slayer coughs and regains his composure before responding. "Yeah I don't think we're should follow them anymore, we can probably figure this out some other time."

And with that Gajeel proceeds to walk away just like that, to Juvia's confusion. She looks back and fourth between the pair of Adam and Dirsi walking away and Gajeel.

"Come on Gajeel, where are you going?..." Juvia says to her partner that just ignores her and keeps on walking. "Ughh." She says as catches up to Gajeel.

"What's the matter why are we leaving them?" Juvia asks Gajeel. "Unless you want to watch those two go at it go at it, you should probably stop following them. We can figure it out some other time." Juvia blushing too now nods agreeing as the two walk away.

Pharaoh hisses again flicking his tongue as Dirsi smiles. "Ok we're no longer being followed by your friends anymore. If it wasn't for Pharaoh being on alert I wouldn't have even bothered to notice them."

"But I still wanna go to that place because I do need to relieve some stress for real though. So I hope this place is as good as I think it'll be." Dirsi states revealing she wasn't just talking nonsense.

Adam has a deep exhale before responding. "Yeah I can tell, your mana is leaking because of it. And trust me if I couldn't get caught training out there in the outskirts on a Tuesday night, I don't think anyone will ever be out there."

"Ok better not, I don't want my fun being interrupted prematurely." Dirsi exclaims excitedly.

Magnolia: Fairytail Guildhall 2 Hours Later

Inside the Guildhall the regular antics of Fairytail be heard going on in full display. Tables being thrown, bodies flying left and right, the "normal" sight for the guild.

Though that all changes when the doors come flying by Dirsi slamming the door open. She then turns around behind her. "Alright Pharaoh bring him in." Most of the Guild has all eyes on her at the moment as they're just looking on in confusing and slight anticipation.

On cue Pharaoh slithers inside the guild hall with a clearly beaten up Adam on his back. He has scabs and bruises all over his visible body that you can see, along with his clothes being very torn and beat up.

"I hate poison users... so much." He mumbles very slowly barely conscious as Pharaoh goes to a near by table dropping Adam on. Currently Makarov was at the bar so he jumps down from chair and walks over to members of the Guardian Unit.

Dirsi looks down at him as he approaches. "Hello there. I take it you must be Makarov Dreyar, the master of this fine establishment. I've heard a lot about you, my name is Dirsi Ophidia. Commander of the 4th Division." She says sounding very proper extending her hand leaning over for the smaller man smiling.

Makarov nods and shakes her hands. "I hope you've only heard good things." He says to her, as he glances over at Adam before regaining his attention to the woman in front of him.

"So... I must ask is he... alright?" Makarov asks slightly concerned for Adam's wellbeing. 'After all Adam did have a fight with Laxus and pretty much manhandled him. So to see him in this state...'

A couple of tables down you can hear a whistle of impressment. It's origin none other than Gajeel looking at the scene of Adam. "Man you must of really put it on him to bring him back in that state." Gajeel says laughing at the super bruised and beat up Adam.

Dirsi looks over at Gajeel and chuckles before responding. "Don't be quick to judge, it's quite the opposite. Adam beat me several times during our fight."

The Division Commander raises her right hand as black particles surround her hand. "My magic specializes in poisons and healing, he's just stubborn and doesn't want me healing him for... reasons." She says smiling somewhat sadistically.

Gajeel scoffs,"Please that doesn't even make sense. Why would he not let you heal him if that was the case."

"Because Lady Ophidia is very sadistic and twisted in her own way, often exchanging help in forms of sadistic acts." A woman sounding very monotone says walking inside the guildhall. She has long black hair and red eyes, she's wearing a Black turtleneck and white pants, an white ankh on the front of it. She has a cloak with the purple gem in the middle matching Dirsi's but on the back of hers she has the kanji for lieutenant. Dirsi turns her head to look at the young girl. "Ah Kogure, seems like you've found me."

This young lady is Kogure Sakura, Lieutenant of the 4th Division under Dirsi Ophidia. All Division Commanders and Vice Captains have Lieutenants under them that assist them in endeavors. Thee aforementioned "Reign" is Adam's Lieutenant for the 7th Division.

"Yes, and it would seem that you have found Master Alastair during your time." Kogure says looking at Adam was looks up at her barely managing to raise his left hand to her acknowledging her presence.

Kogure nods towards her Vice Captain. "Alas my lady, we have secured the necessary items we traveled for and are ready to move out." She informs her commander. Dirsi nods,"Well sorry to cut this short but it seems duty calls again. Hope you can forgive me for the rather sudden intrusion sir." She says to Makarov.

"I see no harm done, nothing to apologize for. Though I do have a request if you don't mind." Makarov says to her and she nods listening to his request.

"Fairytail's doctor is an... out of house affiliate and it would be much of a hassle for her to come all this way to help accelerate Adams healing process, alongside the fact I don't know if she even would." Makarov explains to her.

"So if you don't mind could you please heal him." He finishes bowing to her. Dirsi glances over to Adam then at Kogure before shrugging. "Well I wouldn't leave my favorite in too bad of a condition to begin with because then I'd have nobody else to play with." She says walking over to the table Pharaoh put Adam on.

"So even though leaving him how he is know would be completely fine. Out of respect I'll accept your request free of charge." She says standing over Adam as she turns him on his back. Her magic aura of black particles clouds surrounds her body. "Don't enjoy this too much Captain."

"Poison God's Panacea" Dirsi says as she kisses him much to everyone's surprise. Adams body is covered in a black aura as his wounds heal rapidly as the aura disappears once all his wounds are healed.

"There are done." Dirsi says smiling at him as he sits up as its almost like he's instantaneously snapped back to life again. "Was that really necessary, you could have just injected me with a stinger like you do everyone else." Adam says to her not even phased by the actions that transpired.

"Don't act like you don't know stinging you would've given you antibodies against my poisons. Can't have that happening can I, you're already used to my poisons as is giving you immunity wouldn't be in my best interest." She says turning around walking towards the door.

"Come on the both of you, we're leaving." Dirsi says standing at the door. Pharaoh follows right behind her, Kogure bows to Makarov. "Apologies for any commotion my commander may have caused you today." Kogure says to him. "All is well don't worry about it."

Kogure nods,"Take care of yourself Captain Alastair." She says before turning around following her commander as the trio leave.

For a moment the Guild is left is a weird state of silence before being broken by Cana who slams a barrel on the counter of the bar. "Alright I need a bigger drink after watching whatever the fuck that was."

And as if on que everyone relatively goes back to whatever it is they were doing. Adam sighs getting off the table lightly stretching his arms and rolling his shoulders a bit.

"So it's true huh?" Makarov says walking over to Adam who looks at him confused. "That every Division Commander and up within the Guardian Unit is in the possession of a lost magic."

'Lost magic are suppose to be extremely rare to come by but rumors are that the Guardian Unit alongside the Council hold many Grimoire containing lost magic from all over the lands not just Fiore.'

"Yeah it's true, but it's not completely true. The Captain has to personally hand you the grimoire and usually it has to be relative to magic you already used before." Adam says.

"For example Tiberius Fall, Division Commander of Special Intelligence and Investigations. Prior to his promotion used Lightning magic, so the commander gave him a Grimoire containing a magic called Arc of Storms. Which combines Lightning, Atmospheric, and Gale magic similar enough for him to not go through too hard of a learning curve."

"Though not everyone can obtain one due the lack of compatibility, and also some would just rather keep their original magic in the first place rather than lattempt to learn a whole new form of magic." Adam finishes.

"Hmmm I see, you all are clearly very powerful individuals in your own right then." Makarov says to the young man.

"I guess, but I'm the case of Dirsi she already had that magic how she obtained it. Nobody knows really, not even Captain Memes." Adam exclaims to him as the two continue talking.

Meanwhile over at the bar Cana, stop looking over at Adam's direction putting her barrel down. "Can you believe this Mira? Why does everyone act like he's some big fucking celebrity. Even the master is completely puppy eyed for the kid."

Mirajane chuckles awkwardly talking to Cana. "I mean he is an honorary guest here, I'm pretty sure the master just wants him to be comfortable." She says to the brunette.

Cana lets out a laugh. "Please, after all you're also pretty fond of him huh? Besides the Master you're the only one he seems to actually talk to." She says looking deep in Mirajane's eyes.

"Sure you not just defending your future boy toy Mira?" She says to her. Mirajane blushes lightly flustered extending her hands out shaking them and her head.

"No no no, it's nothing like that. He's just actually pleasant to talk to." Mira tries saying to her as she rolls her eyes. "Mhmmm whatever you say, I don't see it that way."

Mirajane sighs remembering how they both got off on the wrong foot initially. "Well I know that you'd feel the same way about him if you gave him a chance, I know the two of you got off on the wrong foot but you sho-"

Cana quickly cuts her off before she can even finish. "There is not enough booze in this planet that would make me like him in any capacity, he's already sealed his spot on my black list within the first 45 seconds of knowing him." She says sternly with very strong conviction before picking back up her barrel and continuing drinking.

Mira knows that she's serious despite her drinking,"Well between the two of us he's sorry about how he acted that day towards you. He told me himself, everyone more or less has accepted him besides you."

Cana stops drinking putting the barrel on the counter. "Good for him then, glad he has self reflection skills I guess." Mirajane sighs yet again and the so blatant response."He really has no chance does he?" Mira ask sincerely giving up on trying to help Adam make amends. "Extremely unlikely." She responds quickly.

(Later That Evening)

Adam is currently standing in front of the request board. 'I guess going on a job request wouldn't hurt, it would atleast give me an excuse to do something.' He's currently scanning the board for something up his ally not really caring about the money involved.

"You need any help?" A voice says as Adam turns to look at who it is and sees its Levy. "Oh hey Levy, and yeah maybe... I don't know yet to be honest. A lot of these jobs seem very..."

"Boring?" Levy says finishing his sentence. "I get it, someone with your experience I can understand your lack of interest." Adam chuckles nervously as she's completely right with her assessment of his thought process.

"Maybe you could ask the Master about a potential S-Class mission for you, I don't think he would deny the S-Class request board." Levy suggest to him as he pounders the thought for a moment.

"Though he probably wouldn't let you go by yourself even though you would probably be able to handle yourself very well alone." Levy says to him. "Yeah especially since I'm not an S-Class mage for Fairytail, I would probably need some extra help even if it's not required on my end."

As he finishes he glances up at the second floor and sees Juvia and Gajeel talking. Then his eyes come back down to the main level of the Guildhall as he looks over at Cana. "Hmm yeah maybe some extra help would be nice."

Magnolia: Train Station

"Lady Dirsi can I ask you something?" Kogure asks Dirsi as the two are boarding on a train cart on their way back to HQ while Pharaoh is taking his seat on-top of the train cart to some of the workers dismay. "Of course my dear what is it?" Dirsi says as they sit down waiting for the train to leave.

"Why did you insist on leaving Lady Alastair at HQ, Captain Menes gave the green light if she wished to accompany us on this assignment." Kogure asks her Commander and Dirsi smiles.

"Because I'm evil of course." She says laughing. "And of course because Reign is a very promising young lady, innate talent like her is rare to come by. She's a fine specimen indeed, besides she understands her brother is gone for awhile and it's her responsibility until he's back to step up."

"Don't forget I forfeited our fight for Vice Captain while Adam's anyway so she won it fair and square until he comes back anyway. I understand she misses her brother but it might be in her best interest to focus on her new position and getting stronger. After all she is an honorary Alastair so she has a lot to prove." Dirsi says smiling.

"Besides the 7th tends to Internal and External Affairs it's a workload in itself keeping the other Divisions in line alongside dealing with political side to it all. Because we all know Oz was more than glad to create a while knew division just for that so he didn't have to deal with it." Dirsi finishes laughing thinking of her elder brother.

Kogure nods,"Yes indeed I see. But didn't you forfeit the match because you couldn't stand having to report to your brother for everything you did? So regardless who you ended up fighting in the finals for it you were gonna forfeit anyway." She asks her.

The 4th Divison Commander sweat drops and chuckles lightly. "Well yeah but also because Reign's magic isn't easy to fight against even if you understand how it works just like Adam's. After all he's the one that gave her that magic anyway." Dirsi exclaims crossing her arms.

"The moment she was able to drag out a fight long enough with Leonidas that he was beaten by his own magic. A lieutenant defeating a commander in the fashion that she did..." Dirsi finishes drifting into thought.

"Yeah I'm aware of Lady Alastair's strength. At that point the only chance of beating her is to try and-"

"Kill her." Kogure and Dirsi both say at the same as silence is left around them as they think about Reign as the cart starts to go towards their destination.

A/N: Ok it has been an extremely long time since I wrote anything but I've been inspired to get back into writing and specifically this story so I'll do my best to be more consistent in uploading chapters over well over a year.

Now I will say one thing, a lot of people aren't going to like it but the Guardian Unit is broken beyond measures. XD

Now they're not all busted really but in context are really strong individuals atleast the upper members in ranks. For anyone who's wondering even though I'll explain in it later chapters I'll do it now for anyone who was interested.

The ranking system for the Guardian Unit is the following.

Rune Knight - Squad Leaders - Lieutenant - Division Commander - Vice Captain - Captain

So yeah that's that. Also in my absence I got some pms about pairings and honestly the way Fairytail is as a story I don't know if it's something I'd dive into though I'm not completely against especially seeing how the manga ended and the 100 year quest currently.

If Gajeel in cannon can be having a whole kid honestly at that point morally as a writer I feel like it's free game XD.
