''Baby boy, you want to visit Sanny and Sofia?'' Brittany asks looking up from her phone after receiving a text from Santana that she sadly has to cancel their date because Sofia isn't feeling well, she crouches down as he walks over to her nodding his head with a big smile and runs her hand through his spiky hair. ''Sofia isn't feeling well, think we can cheer her up?''
''With ice cream?'' Liam asks smiling cutely, Brittany chuckles softly and kisses his head.
''I will ask Sanny what she has, if she doesn't have a stomach ache we can buy ice cream okay?''
''Okay mommy! Can I bring some toys?'' Liam asks with a big smile, Brittany nods her head and smiles lovingly.
''Pack some in your backpack okay? We will leave in five minutes.'' She looks down at her phone with a chuckle as he runs off with a squeal and opens Santana's contact again, she types out a message and leaves the screen to call the Italian they all like around the corner.
To San: A cold?
She walks into the hall to slip on her shoes and chuckles as Liam sprints out of the room. ''No running sweetie.'' She smiles as he immediately slows down and takes the bag from him. ''Put on your shoes baby, we will pick up pizza on our way over.''
She pulls out her phone as he sits down to put on his shoes and opens Santana's reply.
From San: I think a starting cold yes but she is just so tired and cuddly, don't want to leave her with Q sorry.
She shakes her head with a soft smile and types out her reply.
To San: Never apologize for being the best mami, I completely understand San.
She locks her phone and turns to her son with a loving smile. ''We can grab ice cream baby, ready to go?'' She shoulders his bag as he nods his head with a bright smile and opens the door after grabbing her keys and wallet, she leads him out of their apartment locking the door behind her and follows him down the stairs.
She takes his hand ignoring her phone buzzing knowing it's Santana's reply and walks down the sidewalk towards the Italian where she ordered food for them, she looks down at her son and smiles. ''You want to pick out the ice cream for us?''
''From here?'' Liam asks excitedly as they walk into the restaurant, Brittany nods her head pointing to the ice cream section and chuckles.
''Go take a look baby, I will grab our pizza okay?''
Twenty minutes later
Brittany thanks the cab driver as he stops near Santana's house and smiles handing him the money and helps her son climb out, she follows him holding the bag with pizza and the ice cream Liam picked out and takes a hold of his hand walking down the sidewalk to Santana's house.
''Can I ring the bell mommy?'' Liam asks cutely as they walk up the driveway, Brittany nods her head as they walk up the steps leading to the front door and takes the bags in one hand. She leans down easily picking him up and smiles as he reaches out ringing the doorbell, she places him back down kissing his head and takes a step back smiling as he slides in front of her to lean back against her legs.
She runs a hand through his hair while looking back at him and winks as he looks up at her with a cute grin, she tilts her head back up as she hears the door open and smiles slightly as Santana looks at them in surprise.
''Sanny, mommy and I are here to cheer Sof up!'' Liam exclaims with a bright smile as he crashes into her legs to hug her, Santana chuckles softly leaning down to pick him up and kisses his cheek.
''You are? Aw that is so cute, I am sure she will love playing with you Li!'' She places him down after ruffling his hair chuckling as he scowls cutely and points her finger towards the living room. ''She is in the living room watching Frozen, you want to join her?''
Brittany chuckles softly as her son immediately nods his head running into the house with a soft squeal and leans against the doorpost looking at Santana. ''Hey you.'' she holds up the bags with food and smirks. ''Dinner and dessert?'' She asks.
''You are crazy.'' Santana mutters softly with a big smile, she steps closer to her wrapping both of her arms around her waist and pulls her in a hug. ''Why didn't you tell me that you were coming over? I would have asked Puck to pick you up so you didn't have to sit in a cab.''
Brittany looks down at her and chuckles. ''And ruin our surprise? Nope the drive wasn't that bad.'' she pulls back after kissing her cheek and follows her into the kitchen after closing the door, she leans against the kitchen counter and bites her lip. ''Besides I don't want to be picked up when I am the one who planned our date San.''
''Date?'' Santana asks curiously as she sets the table for the four of them, Brittany hums placing glasses beside their tables and smiles slightly.
''Well yeah, we are both moms S but I am sure we will enjoy a date with our little ones too.'' She slides beside her to grab the pizza boxes and turns to look at her shrugging. ''I love every minute that I get to spend with you and I adore Sof, we will have dates with both kids too so why not one today?''
''You are one of a kind you know that?'' Santana asks with a loving smile, Brittany just winks and chuckles.
''So are you Lopez, ready to pull the kids away from the Disney movie and enjoy a dinner with them?'' She kisses her cheek near the corner of her mouth as she hums softly and turns on her heels walking out of the kitchen, she walks into the living room smiling lovingly as she sees both kids cuddled up underneath the blanket and leans over the back of the couch kissing the top of their heads. ''Ready for dinner kids?''
''Britty!'' Sof squeaks out her voice a bit hoarse, Brittany smiles lovingly picking her up as she sees her son jump into Santana's arms and rubs her back frowning as she coughs roughly.
''Oh sweetie, you getting sick?''
''Si, coughing hurts.'' Sofia murmurs pouting as she buries her face in her neck, Brittany hums kissing the top of her head and leads her into the kitchen.
''Li bought ice cream for us to eat after dinner, maybe that will sooth your throat a bit.'' She places her down on the chair and runs her hand through her long dark locks, Sofia looks up at her and smiles cutely.
''Thank you for coming here, I love playing and watching movies with Liam.''
''I know you do sweetie and I know Li does too.'' Brittany replies smiling lovingly as she runs her hand through her sons hair the second Santana places him down next to Sofia, she kisses their heads and places a slice of pizza on both of their plates. ''What do you want to drink?''
''Can we have juice?'' Li asks smiling cutely.
''You sure can bud.'' Santana replies leaning over to fill their glasses with apple juice, Brittany smiles walking around the table to sit down next to Santana and thanks her softly as she sees the glass with beer standing beside her plate. ''Alright, let's eat before the pizza gets cold.'' Santana exclaims with a big smile as she sees both kids already grabbing their slice, she grabs her own humming at the pepperoni smell hitting her nose and takes a bite. ''God I love Antonio's pizza.'' She moans softly.
Brittany laughs as both kids giggle and shakes her head. ''Don't talk with your mouth full San.'' She takes a sip of her beer and looks at both kids. ''How does the chicken pizza taste?''
''Really good Britty!''
''Really good mommy.'' Both kids exclaim in unison after they took a sip of their juice, Brittany smiles taking a bite of her own slice and glances under the table as she feels Santana's hand on her thigh. She drops her left hand under the table to take a hold on her hand and easily intertwines them, she squeezes her hand softly as she feels her thumb run over the back of her hand and looks back up as she hears both kids giggle laughing as she sees Liam crossing his eyes to look at the tip of his nose covered in tomato sauce.
''Liam you crazy.'' Sofia exclaims giggling loudly, Liam keeps his eyes crossed and pouts.
''My nose is red, I am clown Liam Eli Pierce!''
Santana shakes her head and chuckles. ''You sir Liam are just as crazy as your mommy is.''
''My blood, my character, oh boy.'' Brittany murmurs laughing.
''And your gorgeous looks.'' Santana mutters beneath her breath, she squeezes her hand under the table softly before letting go and leans over the table wiping Liam's nose with a napkin. She bops it with a smile chuckling as he giggles and use the same napkin to bop her daughters nose. ''Alright crazies, want another slice?''
''Eating hurts my throat mommy.'' Sofia murmurs pouting, Santana smiles sadly slowly nodding her head and sighs.
''Well you managed to eat one, want ice cream to sooth your throat mija?'' she stands up as she nods her head grabbing four bowls and grabs the ice cream out of the fridge, Brittany stands up to clean the table placing their plates into the dishwasher and crouches down beside Sofia after ruffling her sons hair chuckling as he giggles.
''Can you open up for me Sof?'' She asks softly as she takes out her phone, she places her finger underneath her chin as she opens her mouth and tilts it back pointing her flashlight at the back of her throat. ''Your throat is a bit red sweetie, I am sure the ice cream will make sure that it doesn't hurt so bad anymore.'' She stands up filling her empty juice glass with ice cold water and walks back to crouch back in front of her. ''Take a sip and keep your head tilted back, the cold water will help too.''
''I picked out ice cream without little bites so you don't have to chew Sof, you can let it melt on your tongue and than swallow the milk.'' Santana smiles walking around the table placing the bowls with ice cream down in front of them and ruffles his hair.
''I am sure that will help Li, you also chose the best flavors Sof and I love the chocolate and vanilla mix.''
''Mommy and me love that too Sanny.'' Liam exclaims smiling brightly, Brittany smiles lovingly standing back up as she sees Sofia taking the last sip of her water and kisses her head.
''Better sweetie?'' She turns to her son as soon as she nods her head and leans over Sofia to kiss his head. ''We love it best when it's a bit softer so we can mix it all up right baby?''
Liam nods his head and giggles pointing at his bowl. ''Like this.'' He exclaims mashing his ice together, Brittany hums in agreement sitting back down in her chair shooting Santana a wink as she thanks her softly and hums.
''No need to thank me San.'' She grabs her ice cream bowl following her sons lead and mashes both ice cream flavors together, Santana chuckles as she sees her daughter follow their lead and takes a sip of her red wine.
''What will we do after dinner?'' She asks both kids, Sofia looks up at her and smiles cutely.
''Can we watch a movie and cuddle?''
''Yes cuddle!'' Li exclaims smiling brightly, Brittany chuckles and nods her head.
''Sure we can, what movie will we watch?''
''Can we watch Aladdin?'' Liam asks smiling brightly giggling as Sofia immediately nods her head squeaking in agreement.
''The new one, or the old one?'' Santana asks curiously.
''The new one!'' Sofia exclaims with a big smile, Brittany nods her head and chuckles.
''Alright the new one it is.'' She stands up as soon as she sees that they all finished and takes their bowls, she pulls the kids chairs back and taps their shoulders smiling as they look up at her. ''Let's start our Disney night.''
''I will start up the movie, you don't have to clean up Britt-Britt I will do that later.'' Santana tells her as she stands up, Brittany shakes her head and chuckles.
''Nah I will do that quickly as long as you set the movie up San.'' She reaches out placing her finger on her lips as she opens her mouth to reply and pulls her closer with her free hand as both kids jog back to the living room. ''It's no problem San really.''
Santana smiles slightly placing both of her hands against the kitchen counter on both sides of Brittany's hips and bites her lip after shrugging her hand off, she leans up on her tiptoes and pecks her lips softly. ''Thank you.'' She whispers softly. ''I am sure you didn't plan this as a date but I still love it, knowing I can cuddle with you and the little ones while watching Disney also makes my day much better.''
''You had a bad day?'' Brittany asks softly, Santana rolls her eyes with a soft sigh and hums.
''Yeah my folks called to tell me that they are coming by in two weeks to spend time with Sof on her birthday, I am not looking forward to the mood filling this house the second Q, Puck, Nick and my parents are in one room together.''
''Not a good mood?''
''Oh no they really try to not let it show and they always succeed, but Sof always picks up on my moms glaring and well getting to explain that later in the evening is always the hardest thing to do on her birthday.''
''Well Li and I are there too, I will make sure Sof is distracted so she won't see your moms glares.''
Santana drops her head and gulps thickly. ''Yeah those will be pointed at you and Li too, new people in my life are always put under scrutiny by them. I kinda wanted to ask if you would be up for coming over the next day to safe you and Li for their glaring.''
''You don't have to safe us for them San, I will ignore their glaring and I know Li will be quite obvious to that.'' Brittany pauses biting her lip and sighs. ''I won't ignore them saying something about him though.''
''I don't expect you too, but I just want Sof to enjoy her day.'' Santana whispers softly, Brittany hums pulling her in her arms after turning the dishwasher on and smiles.
''And she will believe me, if you need help decorating for the party just call me and I will help okay?''
Santana nods her head and smiles slightly. ''I will.'' She pulls out of the hug after kissing her cheek and sighs. ''Alright, let's start our Disney night.''
They both walk into the living room after grabbing their drinks and chuckle softly as they see the kids spread out on the couch playing with Liam's toys. ''Any place for us?'' Santana asks after placing Brittany's beer and her wine down, Brittany laughs as they both immediately scramble up and places the glasses she filled with water down on the table.
She drops down in the middle of them smiling lovingly the second they giggle loudly as they bounce up and reclines back with a huge sigh. ''Well I found my spot.'' She pulls both kids into her side and smirks. ''And I found my cuddle buddies.''
Santana scoffs in amusement after selecting the movie they want to watch and rolls her eyes. ''No cuddling for me?'' She asks pouting, she shakes her head as Brittany just smirks while tickling the kids and sighs. ''Alright, love seat is mine.''
''Noo Sanny!'' Liam squeals giggling loudly as he squirms out of his mommy's hold, he reaches out grabbing her hand and raises his arms. ''I am your cuddle buddy!''
''Si, Britty is mine tonight.'' Sofia exclaims giggling as she crawls into Brittany's lap, Santana laughs picking Liam up and sits down beside Brittany allowing him to settle in her lap.
''See now we can all cuddle together!'' Liam exclaims excitedly as he spreads the blanket laying on the couch over himself and Sofia, Santana smiles lovingly wrapping her right arm around his little waist the second he reclines back against her chest and hums as she feels Brittany's arm wrap around her shoulders after it dropped off of the back of the couch.
''Group cuddling does sound amazing.''
''Si it…'' Sofia cuts herself off coughing roughly and whimpers, Brittany frowns rubbing her back with a pout and sighs softly.
''Easy sweetie, don't hype yourself up okay?'' She asks softly, she leans forward grabbing the package of children Tylenol she sees laying on the table and takes one out holding it up to her lips. ''Take this.'' She whispers softly.
Santana watches them with a loving smile and bites her lip as she sees her daughter easily accepting the small pill held up to her lips, she pulls Liam closer after they both took a sip of their drinks and watches her daughter recline back against Brittany's chest after drinking some water.
Yep will definitely never regret deciding to break my rule once again, mi hija is happy and I am too.
She thinks to herself as she sees her daughter smile cutely up at Brittany before turning to the movie, she tightens her own hold on Liam running her thumb over his little hand placed on top of hers and leans against Brittany's side feeling her fingers draw random circles on the back of her neck.
Brittany scoots down pulling Santana into her arms feeling both kids relax against them and turns to the movie after slipping her arm between the back of the couch and Santana's back, she places her hand on her hip running her thumb over the sliver of skin where her shirt has ridden up and kisses the three heads reclined back against her chest and shoulder.
Liam tilts his head up to kiss his mommy's cheek and smiles cutely. ''I love you mommy.'' He whispers softly always telling her that he loves her before he can fall asleep, Brittany smiles lovingly knowing he is tired and kisses his forehead.
''I love you too baby boy, if you fall asleep it's no problem okay?''
''Kay.'' Liam murmurs turning back to the movie reaching out to take a hold of Sofia's hand as she coughs again, Santana tilts her head to look up at Brittany and bites her lip.
''The both of you want to stay the night?'' She asks softly, Brittany bites her lip and shrugs.
''We would love to if that is okay with you.''
''Of course it is.'' Santana replies almost immediately, she smiles sheepishly as both kids shushes them and chuckles softly. ''Talk later?''
Brittany hums softly smiling as she cuddles back into her side and turns back to the movie rubbing Sofia's back as she coughs once again, she pulls the blanket up wrapping it around her little shoulders and squeezes the little hand grabbing her own softly knowing it's her son.
