"Tasty!"

Karna said with delight as he took a bite of omurice from the spoon.

Just after he appeared in this world, her summoner was greatly surprised and confused. She wasn't cautious of him but for some reason, she was acting quite flustered.

Seeing his master's mental state, he gave Rias a small explanation about the situation. It managed to calm her down, but she told him that she had to talk to her brother regarding this.

It would have been disadvantageous to Karna if his master told someone else about him and the holy grail, but since he obviously knew that Rias was not a normal human, he allowed her to talk to her brother about the weird situation she was in.

But before Rias called her brother, she wore an apron and went to the kitchen. After some time, she came back with a plate and gently asked Karna to have breakfast till she's busy. Sun had just rose from its slumber, and it was time for breakfast.

She had made omurice, consisting of an omelet made with fried rice and thin, fried scrambled eggs and topped with red ketchup.

Karna, as a heroic spirit, had no need for food but the mesmerizing smell hit his nostrils and Rias' pleading face convinced him to eat the breakfast that she prepared.

Karna wouldn't like it if someone's effort got to waste because of him.

He picked up the spoon and dig up in the fluffy omelet covering fried rice while Rias went into another room to talk to her brother.

And by the time he finished his breakfast, Rias appeared near him.

She had changed into a beautiful white dress with a short skirt covering her nether regions, leaving her thighs and long legs for Karna to see and the top covered her waist and bountiful breasts, showing a decent amount of cleavage.

Rias liked wearing white as it contrasted well with her gorgeous red hair and flawless pale skin. It was simple yet she looked extremely pretty and feminine in it.

"How was the breakfast, umm..."

Rias asked. She stopped at what to refer him with since he hadn't told her his name even though she obviously knew.

"It was delicious, you are an amazing cook! And you can call me Archer."

Karna replied with an appraising tone.

"My pleasure, Archer. And please call me Rias."

Her heart skipped a beat hearing Karna's praise. Rias said with a red hue on her cheeks.

Karna nodded in agreement.

"You done talking with your brother, Rias?"

Karna asked.

"Yeah."

Rias told him what she and her brother discussed.

Sirzechs had explained to her how the three factions are taking part in the holy grail war and fortunately or unfortunately she was selected as the master from Devil's side. Even Akeno and her peerage were taken to the underworld so they won't help her in the holy grail war.

'Oh, a devil?'

Karna wasn't very pleased after knowing that his summoner was a devil. He didn't have much knowledge about devils of Biblical factions as they weren't present in Hindu mythology. But he can make connections with rakshasas as they were evil creatures, most likely similar to devils.

Once again following orders from a villainous person? Will not his bad luck leave him after his death at the land of Kurukshetra?

"You don't have to answer it but I would like to know what you will wish from holy grail?"

Karna asked in order to judge her character. He will instantly know if she lies to him.

In his times, he had a firm grasp over knowing people's character after a moment of conversation with them and can easily tell if someone is lying.

And after becoming the heroic spirit, that ability is manifested as a skill, Discernment of the Poor: A.

"My wish? Umm... everything is so sudden so I haven't thought about it but I would like it if it stops my marriage that my parents fixed without my consent."

Rias replied innocently and truthfully much to Karna's satisfaction.

"You need holy grail's help for such a menial task? That's so sad, Rias."

Karna commented disappointingly. He was happy that Rias was a woman with a pure heart but her wish was something that she should acquire on her own, without anyone's direct help.

"It's complicated you know!"

Rias crossed her arms, pressing her bountiful chest, and tried to give justification about her wish with a pout. But in her heart, she felt sad hearing Karna's disappointment in her.

"Anyway, what's our next move, Rias? We should stay ahead of our enemies."

Karna asked, taking the conversation in the other direction.

"Yeah, right. We are in Kuoh and we will go to Fuyuki city, that's where the war will concentrate on."

Rias replied confidently.

Karna nodded, impressed by her quick answer.

"Then let's not waste our time, shall we."

Karna stood up.

"Well... if we are going out, you should wear something more common, Archer."

Rias said, gesturing to his attire, which was just a red dhoti and some jewelry. Him being half-naked with that godly body would definitely attract massive attention and unnecessary trouble. That would be worth it if she can stare at those sexy abs, right?

"That's true, Rias. I am depending on you to bring me some clothes that will suit today's era."

Karna said with a soft smile.

"You just wait, Archer. I'll be right back."

Rias said and went into another room.

She used her connections in Kuoh to order some dashing clothes for Karna. It would have been difficult to get clothes so early in the morning, but being the heir of the Gremory clan does have some perks.

"That would be gooooood!"

Imagining her favorite mythological hero in modern clothing gave her a nosebleed. So much happened today and she couldn't be more excited for the future.

"I wouldn't mind dying in this war if I can fight and spend some time with him."

Rias was acting like a schoolgirl who had met with her crush for the first time, all lovey-dovey.

Sometime later the delivery came, and she left her fantasies and brought the clothes for Karna to wear.

Karna went into another room to try the clothes while Rias waited patiently and was excited to see him in different attire.

When Karna came out after changing, Rias' eyes turned into heart-shaped and a low moan left her mouth as she looked at him.

Karna was wearing a red jacket over a white shirt and fitting black jeans and similar colored boots. He was looking extremely handsome and stunning.

"Perfect!"

Rias said.

"Is it? Well, I wouldn't say that I don't like it."

Karna replied as he moved his body to check if they are comfortable enough.

"Yes, yes, Archer. You look amazing. Now we are all set to go."

Rias said.

"Why we are waiting then!"

Karna said with a smile and they both moved out of the room.

Their destination was Fuyuki where brutal battles will take place.

Karna drove Rias' red convertible car to travel to their destination.

"Please slow, Archer."

Rias screamed as he was driving too fast on an almost empty highway.

"I'm here, nothing will happen to you Rias."

Karna said and continued to drive at the same speed.

Hearing his comforting words Rias calmed down a little.

"Archer, how are you able to drive this? I bet there weren't any cars in your time."

Rias was curious as Karna was driving the car better than any professional racer would drive.

"I can ride anything, Rias."

Karna replied.

Karna was adopted by Adhiratha and Radha. His foster father was the charioteer of one of the greatest warriors of Mahabharata, Bheeshma. And from him, Karna learned to ride chariots. On top of that, he was exceptional at horse-riding too.

And he was also capable of being the charioteer of the celestial chariot of his father, Surya.

And because of this, he gained the skill, Riding: EX, because he was capable to ride any mount except certain personal ones.

And he loved speed too. So there was no surprise that he liked fast cars.

Rias and Karna engaged in some light conversation as Fuyuki was some hours away.
