Decision

"I want to know why someone wants us dead!" Kai shouted angrily, standing up and slamming his palm onto the table. "It can't be just because they want to steal our eyes! There must be another reason! No one acts because they just decided to. There is always a reason behind actions!"

Yuma closed his eyes and grimaced. Of course, his friend had to ask this. He was intelligent. He knew that he and his Ojiisan kept something from him. But could they tell him? Could they tell him that the Uchiha clan planned a coup d'état to overthrow Konoha's government and the Sandaime? While Yuma's memories were very hazy about the planned coup, he remembered how furious and unhappy Uchiha Fugaku, the last clan head, and most of the other Uchiha's had been. Only a minority actually were against the coup believing it would have led to a civil war within Konoha and eventually a Fourth Shinobi World War.

While he barely remembered anything from this time, Yuma was against the coup. He also estimated that Uchiha Itachi knew about the coup as well (despite his relatively young age) and decided to slaughter his entire clan before a civil war broke out as a result of it. He just hoped that Haruka didn't know the truth… But he already suspected that she was actually a former member of the Ne. She had too much information about them and she knew that they were all Uchihas including herself.

Wait… If Haruka was an Uchiha… Yuma overcame a white-hot anger towards a certain elder named Shimura Danzo. So he had planned to actually use some Uchihas for his ANBU squad. At least he was dead now… And his death served him right. But he shouldn't linger on those feelings. Danzo was dead… His anger wouldn't bring him anything.

Yuma took a deep breath in order to calm himself and looked at Haruka. He narrowed his eyes at her slightly. It would explain her behavior if she grew up in the Ne. They were, after all, trained to not show and more importantly feel any emotions. And to his horror, he actually believed that Danzo would do such a thing. The question was though, why her? As far as he remembered, as it was only barely, Danzo always thought that females were weaker than males. Something he ironically agreed with him. Him whom he didn't want to think about and shouldn't even be mentioned until a member of the clan reached a certain age. A child of the clan was informed then they reached the age of 10. It was made sure that it wasn't mentioned in the Academy, then they had history lessons.

"I want to know why those guys want us dead!" Kai repeated his question, this time even angrier than before.

"It's because the Uchiha planned a coup d'état to overthrow the government and Sandaime-sama." Haruka answered him.

"What?" he could only exclaim.

From his face all color was removed. He looked like a ghost right now. Yuma visibly scolded at Haruka who did know about the coup. He just hoped that Kai-kun wouldn't succumb to the Curse of Hatred now because he knew why the Uchiha clan was massacred in the first place! This was a complete disaster. He wanted to say it to him calmly and in a better situation. They all were tensed because of the murder of one of their fellow clan members!

"How stupid could our clan be?! A coup?! Did they know that such a coup could have led to a civil war?!" Kai-kun asked palming his face and also surprising Yuma.

He had thought his new friend was going to be much, much angrier at Konoha itself than towards the clan. But he couldn't decide if this was a good or a bad thing now. Kai-kun could develop a strong hatred towards his own clan. Something Yuma also didn't want to happen because then his new friend would start to hate him and his Ojiisan.

"Kai-san…" Kiyoshi-san spoke up. "Don't blame the clan for it. They were pushed by Danzo to do such a thing. How much do you know about the Kyubi incident seventeen years ago?"

"I think enough…" he replied quietly.

"The Uchiha's were blamed for this incident as they could control Biju with their Sharingan. Because of the rampaging Kyubi the Uchiha compound was also destroyed and thus Danzo suggested to move the compound to the outskirts of Konoha. For the Uchiha clan, whom prided themselves to be one of the two founding clans, this was a huge insult to their pride. They were thinking something like "How could Konoha do this to us? We helped them founding it! We helped them protecting it from the inside and outside." Most of the things that happened to the Uchiha clan could be blamed on one single man, Shimura Danzo."

"Thankfully, Danzo is dead." Yuma-san muttered.

"Don't say thankfully, Yuma-kun." Kiyoshi-san rebuked him.

"Yeah?! That man deserved it!" he shouted slamming his fist onto the table hard causing Kai to flinch.

The Konoha shinobi gritted his teeth. He always got angry then Danzo was mentioned. He should calm himself down in another place without anyone interrupting him. Yes, that was a good idea. Yuma formed the sign for Shunshin no Jutsu by putting the pointer and middle finger of his left hand in a horizontal position while his thumb held his other fingers down. Then he disappeared leaving everyone behind.

Yuma travelled to the destroyed Uchiha compound. No one was actually visiting it and it was a good idea to calm himself here. He also had hopes of regaining another portion of his memories because every time he visited this place his mind began to remember some things.

Kai was aghast then Yuma-san had disappeared. By the looks of it, however, he was so angry because of one single man named Shimura Danzo. Kai himself remembered his name as he had seen it in the bingo book of his step father, Fuma Masahiro. The man was hated due to reasons. But knowing that he was partly responsible for the downfall of the Uchiha clan… No wonder Yuma-san was so angered.

His eyes travelled towards Haruka who had been quiet ever since then he demanded for answers. She hadn't shown any emotions and sat still, only sometimes had drink her tea. What was she thinking about this entire situation? She knew about what had happened to the clan. He wondered why… Well, she was also a survivor, there was no doubt because she knew about the chakra surrounding Uchihas. But why was she acting so calmly about the entire situation?

"I… have to apologize. My grandson doesn't take it lightly then Danzo is mentioned. I should have been more careful." Kiyoshi-san apologized.

Both Kai's and Haruka-san's gaze shifted towards him. The former frowning slightly. Yuma-san must have hated this guy really hard if he left. The psychologist noticed how Kiyoshi-san acted then Yuma-san openly expressed that he was happy that man was dead. That meant that Kiyoshi-san and Danzo had known each other meaning that…

"You knew Danzo." Kai stated.

"I did." the old man confirmed. "Danzo was a friend of mine until a certain incident happened where he almost killed me." Kiyoshi-san admitted grimacing as the memory resurfaced.

"The only Uchiha friend Danzo-sama ever had was Uchiha Kagami." Haruka-san stated matter-of-factly. "He died at the age of 25, however, left a wife and a son behind."

She didn't even sound like she would believe he was lying. More like, she just noticed something. Kai was slightly confused. But now there were only two options left. Either Kiyoshi-san lied at being friends with Danzo or…

"You're Uchiha Kagami, Kiyoshi." Kai said with such a certainty in his voice, he actually wondered why he was so certain.

"Correct." Kagami-san confirmed.

"And that would mean that your grandson, Yuma, is nonother than Uchiha Shisui himself." Haruka concluded.

"That is also correct." the old man confirmed yet another truth.

Kai's head was swimming. Doubt began edging in his mind. Doubt, if he could even trust Kagami-san and Shisui-san to begin with. They both hadn't said anything to him about their true identities until now. And even that was more of an accident than anything. If Haruka-san wasn't here then the truth wouldn't have been revealed at all. And his new friend, who was Shisui, didn't even know such a truth was revealed yet. But there was one thing Kai knew… He had to keep quiet about these truths. If someone found out that not only Shisui-san but also Kagami-san were alive then they would hunt them down for their eyes.

"Don't worry, Kiyoshi-san. I will keep silent." Kai promised while from the corner of his eyes he saw how Haruka nodded her promise as well.

"Good. Come here." Kagami-san said.

He waved at them causing them to actually towards him. They sat down in front of him. The old Uchiha smiled and reached both his hands to their hands.

"Zekka Konzetsu no In!" he said calmly.

Kai immediately tensed then he felt Kagami-san's chakra invading his head. His chakra travelled downwards to his throat and then to his tongue. It left a bitter taste in his mouth then the chakra finally withdrew.

"I'm sorry that I had to do this… But this seal prevents that you two speak information about me and Shisui towards others. It's a safety measure if you two are put under a genjutsu. This seal will last until we both die."

"I get your point, Kiyoshi-san." Kai replied. "But was this truly necessary?"

"You haven't been under a seal before, correct?" Haruka-san questioned him, although her eyes were trained on Kagami-san. "For me, it was clear that he would put us under one. Those are really private information which could led to a war if another country finds out. And just like Kiyoshi-san said… We aren't immune to genjutsus although we are members of the Uchiha clan."

"I'm saying this as a psychologist. This is immense pressure you're putting on us. Keeping, no, being forced to never reveal such an information to anyone. Do you realize what kind of pressure you have put us on, Kiyoshi-san?" he asked him.

"I know… But knowing that others know… Isn't it comforting enough?" he questioned him.

Kai remained quiet. It was only a little bit comforting. And he thought that this was a bad decision. But he also understood Kagami-san's fear. It was only understandable that he wanted to prevent leaking such information to others.

Now that was out of the way… What about the job now? He still hadn't decided yet. But thinking about the death of the waitress made him realize that he wanted to prevent other murders of innocent people who were somehow directly related to the Uchiha clan. He didn't want to be useless and just stand idly by while others were murdered on the streets of Konoha in the night. He wanted to act.

"I will take it." Kai said all of the sudden.

Kagami-san and Haruka-san looked at him in question. They were probably thinking that he had accepted the seal on his tongue. But that wasn't it. This was something completely different.

"I want to take the job in order to prevent other deaths of fellow clan members!" the psychologist decided and smiled.

"Okay. We will meet tomorrow on trainings ground 2 at five in the morning." Haruka decided and stood up. "Be on time, Kai."

She when disappeared in a cloud of smoke leaving Kagami-san and Kai behind.

Author's note:

Him whom he didn't want to think about and shouldn't even be mentioned until a member of the clan reached a certain age.

Yeah… I kind of wondered as to why Sasuke didn't know about Madara then he first encountered Kurama.

Also, now that I dropped the bomb with Kiyoshi being Kagami and Yuma being Shisui… Because Kagami has no actual theme in the show, he just keeps the theme I'd chosen for him… As for Shisui though… He has a theme in the anime. But damn what's wrong with all the important Uchihas having such sad themes?
