After strolling around the city for the whole day, Rias and Karna proceeded to their mansion once the sun started going down in the ocean.

They had decided to attack Rin and her servant in their house and finish them as quickly as possible in the night, with that they keep causalities to a minimum, better zero, in the war.

At this time, no people were roaming around in Miyama town. Everybody had gone to their home, leaving the streets with pin-drop silence. A decent place to get into fights avoiding others' attention.

But their plans remained plans as Rin haven't come back.

"She might have gone to look for other servants as well, Archer..."

Rias commented.

"Indeed but we can entertain ourselves with someone else for now!"

Karna seriously said as he turned to look at a person who was casually sitting on the roof of another mansion.

Rias too followed his line of sight and concluded the unknown person to be a woman with her feminine figure.

The woman jumped from their mansion and landed on her high heels in front of them.

"Oh my, I wasn't expecting to find some interesting people."

The woman said in a mature voice.

Karna and Rias couldn't deny that the female servant in front was an extremely beautiful woman covered in a tight bodysuit that showcased her curvaceous body. Her face was covered with a mask while there was a veil on her head. Her long purple hair smoothly flowed with the wind.

She was holding onto two long red spears as her weapons.

"Lancer?"

Rias said seeing her spears.

"Well yes, it's not hard to figure it out. Bring out your weapon."

Lancer replied with her red eyes fixated on Karna.

Karna nodded and extended his arm, summoning a spear of his own.

The spear looked to be purely made of gold. The tip was sharp with a circular shape, from which more sharp tips came out. The spear exuded divine properties.

'A spear? Why? There's supposed to be a bow, right?'

Rias thought. She was surprised with 'Archer' bringing out a spear.

"Rias, we will retreat to the outskirts first."

Karna said to her in a low voice which Rias nodded in reply.

They had already estimated that the lancer is a very strong servant, so if Karna and she fought with their full powers it can be catastrophic for the surroundings. They can go to the outskirt area which was a little bit far away from their current position.

Seeing that Karna is ready, Lancer leaped towards him with murderous intent. She attacked him with one of her spears which Karna deflected with his spear and jumped back to retreat.

A pair of bat wings appeared behind Rias and she started flying. It greatly helped her to keep in pace with Karna who was moving back after deflecting every single attack of the Lancer.

Lancer was superior to Karna when it comes to spear fighting but still, it was hard for her to land a blow on him.

"Take this!"

Lancer announced as she used both of her spears to simultaneously attack Karna.

One of them broke his defenses and impaled his arm...

She thought that her attack worked but a golden-like barrier appeared between her spear and his skin that minimized the power of her attack, leaving just a scratch.

Lancer squinted her eyes, not just did her opponent have remarkable skills, he also have some sort of defense.

Rias quickly guessed to be his kavacha, a divine armor, give to him by the Sun god, Surya.

In a couple of minutes and barrages of attacks, the three of them reached the outskirts of Fuyuki city. The place was void of any humans. There were some trees while the surrounding had a gloomy feel to them.

Karna smiled as he don't have to play defensive anymore.

He activated his mana burst targeting his spear, covering it in flames, and leaped towards the Lancer.

Rias felt her mana reserves being lowered when he activated his mana burst. It was not a significant amount, but she realized that she can't support him forever.

Lancer was caught off-guard. She tried to block Karna's attack on her side with her spear and she succeeded. But the attack was so intense that it pushed her off and she barely landed on her legs, hundreds of meters away from before.

"Impressive! I would have loved to train a strong and handsome warrior like you!"

Lancer gained her composure and applauded him.

"Even though I had a great guru, I wouldn't mind learning more, but our meeting was not destined to be a teacher-student relationship." [Here he is only trained by Parshuram, not Dronacharya]

Karan said as he continued his offenses. Lancer was defending herself better than previously.

"That's sad. You could have been worthy of my friendship of thighs!"

Lancer gave him a playful wink while not leaving any flaw in her attacks. Karna didn't understand her words and neither they were important so they kept exchanging blows.

Rias stood sideways watching the two monsters fight each other. She realized that she can't take part in this fight, as she was not in their league and will just waste her energy.

Her eyes were mostly stuck at Karna. His smooth movements, highly powered attacks, and skills with the spear were extraordinary. She had huge doubts that anyone in the devil faction was as good a fighter like him. The stories she read about him were true, he was a warrior capable enough to stand side by side with gods.

Half an hour passed in their duels. Lancer managed to land a lot of attacks on Karna but because of his invisible armor, the damage was enough that it gets easily healed by Rias' mana.

Meanwhile, Karna had managed to gain an upper hand in this duel. He skillfully used mana burst on his spear when his opponent was wide open, causing a lot of damage. Certain parts of Lancer's clothes were ripped by his attacks, giving a glimpse of her bountiful underboob and her slim waist.

Seeing that she will lose if she just used normal attacks, Lancer decided to use her noble phantasm.

"Noble Phantasm!"
