Karna was present in a sparse forest with a bow and arrow in his hand. He had his eyes covered by a piece of cloth as he was practicing "Shabdh Bhedi Band" which means technique to shoot an identify and shoot his enemy with just sound.

~Rustle

Karna heard the rustling of bushes. His target was a wild animal and as he got the sign he shot his arrow in the direction of bushes.

~Shwoosh

"Moo..."

Under a second, the arrow hit the target. But instead of some wild animal, Karna heard the sound of a cow.

Realizing that he just shot a cow, he quickly ran towards it.

He saw a dead cow fallen on the ground with an arrow pierced in its body while a man in saintly saffron clothes, a brahman, was looking at the cow with disbelief.

"Respected saint, please forgive me for that I killed the cow!"

Realizing that he had committed a grave sin by killing the sacred animal, cow, he asked for forgiveness from the brahmin.

"Forgiveness? You killed a helpless cow and you ask for forgiveness? I curse you, you will be killed by your enemy when your attention is diverted elsewhere in the middle of a battle!"

The brahman angrily cursed Karna.

Karna was walking through a village. The road was mostly empty as at this time of the day, men were in the fields while women took care of home and cattle.

He found the village very pleasant.

~Sob ~Sob

Karna heard someone crying some distance away from him. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw a little girl crying while sitting on the ground. He walked towards her to see if he can help her.

"Little girl, why are you crying?"

Karna asked the girl.

"Mother asked me to bring milk but I dropped it on the way! Now, the mother will be angry!"

The young girl looked at Karna and replied. She pointed at the ground which had become slightly wet because of the milk.

"Don't cry, I'll buy you some more!"

Karna offered.

"No! I can't take it, I have to bring the same milk that is fallen!"

The little girl rejected his offer. She was stubborn so Karna didn't try to convince her more.

"Fine then, step aside!"

Karna stepped down and with his hands, grabbed the ground, squeezed, and twisted it mercilessly. Droplets of milk started falling, which were caught by the little girl in an apparatus.

"Thank you!"

The little girl thanked him as her apparatus was filled and walked to her home.

Karna stood up and was about to leave the place but was stopped by a voice.

"Young warrior, for just some drops of milk, you have caused me immense pain and for that, I curse you, the earth will make you vulnerable in your most important battle!"

A female voice announced.

Karna realized that he had been cursed by the Earth Goddess, Bhumi.

Karna was sitting while Lord Parshurama, his guru, was resting with his head laying on his lap.

It was the last day of his training and he was very grateful to Lord Parshurama for teaching him how to use divine astras.

But somewhere in his heart, he felt guilty about lying about his lineage to his guru. As Lord Parshurama only accepted brahmins as disciples, he had identified himself as a brahmin.

While he was in deep thought, a scorpion walked on his thigh and bit him.

Because of his armor, the effect of poison and bite was greatly reduced but some blood flowed out of his thigh. He didn't move as he don't want to disturb his guru's sleep.

After sometime later, Lord Parshurama woke up. He got bewildered after seeing the blood oozing out of Karna's thighs and a scorpion near it.

"Karna... only a Kshatriya or a Shudra can tolerate that much pain. Who are you, Karna?"

Realizing he had been lied to, Lord Parshurama got angry.

"Guruji, I accept that I lied to you that I'm a brahmin!"

Karna folded his hand and accepted his fault humbly.

"Karna, you have acquired the knowledge of divine weapons with the help of a lie. It will all be useless to you!"

Lord Parshurama announced.

"Guruji, please don't curse me! Because of my caste, no one accepted to teach me about divine weapons!"

Karna was sad. He fell on his teacher's feet and apologized.

"Karna! Karna! You should have said this to me, I would have arranged another guru for you!"

Lord Parshurama's heart softened a little bit seeing the sad state of his beloved student.

"Stand up, Karna! I can't take back my curse completely, but you will have access to all your divine weapons but will forget the use of Brahmastra when you need it most!"

He said.

Karna nodded. He lied and is punished for it. He accepted his guru's words.

"Guruji, I thank you for giving me knowledge. Please permit me to take my leave!"

Karna touched his feet and asked for his blessing.

"Be victorious in life, Karna!"

His guru blessed him and Karna took the leave from his adobe.

Karna's chariot wheel got stuck in the ground.

"I won't do it! It doesn't suit my status!"

Karna's charioteer, Shalya, refused to pull the wheel back from the ground. As a king, he thought that it was not his work. Riding chariot for Karna was more than enough.

Karna stepped down from the chariot and himself grabbed the wheel and tried to pull it out.

But while he was busy, his half-brother, Arjuna, shot a divine astra at him.

Karna hastily tried to retaliate by firing Brahmastra but because of the curse, forgot the mantra for the weapon.

And Arjuna's bow hit Karna's neck and he got beheaded...

"Ha..."

Rias woke up hurriedly from her sleep.

She was out of her breath and her body covered in sweat as she woke up from a weird dream.

She was surprised that she managed to show snippets of Karna's life.

"It was so real..."

Rias felt that she's the one that got killed when the arrow pierced Karna.

"I should take a walk!"

As she wasn't feeling well she decided to go on the terrace for some fresh air.
