Inside the girls' cabin, well, just one girl. Gwen sulked in her bunk. She lost the only good thing that came out of being on this island for eight weeks: Gloria. A true friend that had her back since day 1. She helped her with Heather and saved her reationship with Trent. And now, Chris has got her and all of the other fairies. She sighed in sadness but she thought, what can she do? She doesn't even know where she is right now.
[Gwen sighs and goes outside to await the final challenge. She sees Owen walking out of his cabin feeling as sad as her]
Owen: Miss her too huh?
Gwen: You have no idea.
Owen: You know, I wouldn't mind if Gloria was a fairy. She was just so awesome! And a good friend. And the fact that she is a fairy, makes her even cooler!
Gwen: Yeah... she is the coolest... I wish she was still here...
Owen: Me too...
Gloria: [offscreen] Wish granted! [Owen and Gwen look to see the fairy princess without her disguise. Seeing her for her true form]
Owen and Gwen: Gloria!
[Gwen run up to hug her]
Gwen: How did you escape?
Gloria: Never underestimate what a fairy can do.
[Owen runs over to give her a crushing hug]
Owen: [Laughs] I though I never see you again!
Gloria: [Suffocating] Owen! Let go! You're crushing me! [Owen lets go of her] And I just had to see you again. I'm planning to take back my home once an for all. I've got something in store for Chris...
Gwen: How can we help?
Gloria: You guys just play along with the challenge. For all Chris knows, I'm still captured!
Owen: What exactly is your plan?
Gloria: I'm going to beat MacClean at his own sick twisted game. When we're done, no human will ever harm my home ever again. [Flies away] I'll be rooting for you, Gwen!
Gwen: [While Owen waves goodbye] You too!
[Meanwhile, Chad was walking into the tent to get the fairies and saw Steven and Darrell trapped inside the fairy vaccum]
Chad: You idiots! Where are the fairies!?
Darrell: They all escaped!
Chad: Grrr! [Reaches her walkie talkie] I need all hands near the production camp! The fairies have escaped, I repeat, the fairies have escaped! [Puts away the walkie talkie] I'll be darned if those winged freaks outsmart me this time! [As he runs out of the tent, the Oak team was watching the whole thing unfold]
Monica: The fish has taken the bait. It's showtime, people!
[The interns and production crew grabbed their net guns, their smokers, and their flyswatters and marched outside to where the fairies escaped. Gloria and the other teams saw the humans as the search for the missing fairies]
Gloria: This is it everyone. You guys deal with them, I'll handle Chris.
[Before Gloria could leave, her father stopped her]
Richter: Gloria! Wait! [Gloria stopped] I just want you to know how proud we are for taking charge. You will make an excellent queen.
Gloria: [Smiles] Thanks dad.
Mucina: Now, kick MacClean's butt for us!
[Gloria winks and flies off]
Richter: Okay, everyone! Today we take back Balsa!
[Everyone cheered and the army charged at the humans]
Man #1: You hear that?
Man #2: Like, tiny screaming.
[The humans turned to see the fairy army charging at them. They charged a at fairies and they al started fighting each other]
The fairies and animals banded together and fought all of Chris' goons. All over the forest the battle was on. One human shot their net guns at them but four fairies grabbed it and used it to trap him in his own net.
A female intern chases two fairies but then a swinging log came in from the right and smacked her away.
A male human cornered George and Zach with a smoker in hand, but Mr Bruce came in from behind and smacked away the weapon, scaring him away.
Two people were chasing after a female fairy then a mug hits one on the head, they looked up and see a bunch fairies holding a bunch of stuff from the trailers and started throwing them down at them.
One by one the fairies trapped the humans in snares, holes, and nets.
[Cedric was sitting on top of a male intern hitting him over the head with a bat]
Cedric: Ha ha haaaa! I never felt so alive!
Two fairies used their powers to trap two human in a tree, then they grew it high into the sky and launched them far away. Chad looked around as he saw all of the people getting beaten by the fairies, they weren't messing around this time. But Chad knew he coulnd't let them win, so he stood his ground.
Chad: [Holds his net gun] You don't scare me fairies! Even though you've taken down most of the crew, you still have me to deal with! [A huge shadow looms over him] I have worked too hard to be where I am today and I am not about to lose to a couple of dumb... [He looks behind him and see the King and Queen on top of Daniel who roared at him. Chad drops his net gun and starts shaking in fear] Uh... I don't suppose we can talk this over?
Meanwhile, Owen and Gwen's final challenge was a rejected Olympic relay race accross the island. Whoever gets three flags wins it all. Owen was wearing a cow hat while Gwen wore a chicken hat. Every last eliminated camper was there to cheer their friends on. As the two finalists were racing to the first flag with a few of their friends following, Chris heard a screaming sound.
Chris: Huh? [He looked up and saw Chad falling in from the forest completely bruised. He fell to the ground] Chad!? [Grabs Chad by the collar] What's going on?
Chad: [Badly hurt] Fairies... escape... beat... sasquatch... pain...
Chris: English, please?
Chad: The fairies escaped, they've beaten everyone. The interns, the production crew, everyone.
Chris: WHAT!? [Sees Gloria neat the stating line, flying to find the fairy tree] Gloria... [Puts Chad down and goes after her while Chad drags himself forward]
Chad: [groans] When this is over... urgh... I am rethinking my career choices.
[Gloria was rushing through the forest looking for the tree. She then sees Chris chasing after her.]
Gloria: Showtime.
[She flies to her left and leads Chris into the woods. He stopped in his tracks and looked around for her]
Chris: Where are you? I just want to talk to you, I'm not gonna hurt you... much. [A figure flew past him] Wha? [Some leaves fall on him] I'm not playing your little game. Now come down here right. [Walks into a trip wire and activates a trap. A log swings over and bashes him in the face and he got flown into a bush. He shuffles out of there rubbing his jaw] Owww... [He sees Gloria fly into some bushes] Now I got you! [He chases her to the other side of the bushes but then he gets trapped in a snare that launches him into the sky] Gaaaaahhhh! [He lands face down into a mud puddle] Argh! This is dry clean only! [Gets up] Where are you!? When I'm done with you I'll-
Gloria: [offscreen] Over here! [Chris sees her as she taunted] You better come and get me!
[Chris was steaming mad as he charged right at her. She chases Gloria out of the woods until he catches her]
Chris: Got you! No flying out of this one, kid!
Gloria: Uh, you might want to look down.
[Zoom out to see that Gloria was currently holding Chris up from a very long and painful drop]
Chris: [gulps] Uh heh... Look, Gloria. We're both reasonable beings here, I'm sure we can work something out just fly me down safely...
Gloria: Give back my kingdom first.
Chris: Yeah that's a no. Your magic was the best thing that ever happened to me. And I am not letting go.
Gloria: Suit yourself. [She got out of Chris' grip and he falls into the ground]
Chris: Aaaaaaahhhhh! [He fell into a tree where he hit a few branches on the way down. He landed on his crotch on the last branch; winces in pain] My kiwis... [He falls into the ground]
[As Gloria stood proudly for taking care of MacClean she sensed a familiar magic]
Gloria: That magic. My home! [She quickly flew down and soared through the forest until she finally found the fairy tree at the finish line. But she was shocked to see it's current condition, it was brown and cracked and the leaves were almost gone] Sweet wings... [hovers by the tree] What has Chris done to you... [Touches the rotting bark] I have to do something. [Gloria places her hands near the tree and they started to glow. She used her magic to revive half of the tree but it wasn't enough. But she kep trying.] Come on...
Suddenly, from behind her was an angry Chris who was bumped and bruised and had messed up hair and dirt all over him. He was holding a cattleprod with one thing on his mind: revenge.
Chris: End of the line, fairy! That tree belongs to the winner of TDI and not you!
Gloria: Can't you see what you're doing to it? There will be no more magic if you keep abusing it like this! You have taken our home, and nearly killed my kind, all so you can get people to watch your te-le-vi-son show! Please, Chris. For once, think of someone other than yourself. Is ratings really worth risking the lives of all fairy kind?
[Chris stood silint for a second and then...]
Chris: Yeah, pretty much. [Feeling no remorse, he readyed his cattleprod to electrocute Gloria. She had her back against the tree scared of getting killed. But suddenly, Monica jumped in from behind the tree riding on Mr Bruce who roared at him] What the heck!?
Monica: The cavalry has arrived! [All of Gloria's friends came in from behind, ready to defend her]
Mr. Bruce: Normally I don't hurt humans. But If humans hurt my friends, that's when I get mad! [He smacks away Chris' cattleprod]
Chris: I'm not afraid of you! You're just overgrown bugs! I'll- [Zach flashes the flashlight at him] Agh!
Zach: Taste sun stick!
Chris: Agh! My eyes! [He backs away from the light and trips on a rope two fairies were holding. He fell down then the fairies tied his ankles together. Then all of Gloria's friends charged in and attacked him] Ah! Ow! Gah! Not the face.
Gloria: [To Monica] Thanks for the help.
Monica: Hold that thought, Glenda. [Runs over to the fight] Save some for me guys! [Jumps in]
Chris: Ow! Again with the kiwis!
Gloria smiled to see her friends take it to MacClean. But then, she looked back at the tree which was still dying. She looked down in sadness knowing that she was too late. Meanwhile, Owen and Gwen were racing to the finish line, Owen weas fuled by the smell of fresh baked brownies but crashes into Izzy. Gwen reached the finish line and won the whole game.
Gwen: Yes! I did it! I... [She sees Gloria by the fairy tree] Oh no... [Walks up to her] Gloria. Your home...
[The other campers caught up]
Trent: Did you say Gloria?
Lesahawana: Now that you mention it, I haven't seen her since we came in. Where have you been girl.
Gwen: [Tried to defend Gloria] Uh, I can explain. See- [Gloria stops her]
Gloria: No, Gwen. I'm done hiding...
Gloria stood up and then everyone saw her for who she truly was. Her red sleeveless sweater, the pointy ears, the pink leaf gown, and the sparkiling wings behind her. There was no hiding it anymore, the campers knew the truth, Gloria was a fairy.
Izzy: Cool...
Duncan: I've seen a lot of crazy things on this island. And this beats them all!
Gloria: [sighs] Yes, it's true. I am a fairy. I have been the contestant on this show for eight weeks.
[The film crew were surprised at this]
Male human: Are you getting this?
Cameraman: Oh, I'm getting it.
[The cameras were on Gloria as she explained]
Gloria: I am the princess of the kingdom of Balsa. [Points to the tree] This tree, this 'magical surprise', is my home.
Cody: You actually live in that thing?
Gloria: Well it wasn't like that. Until Chris MacClean plucked it on the ground and used my people's magic to help with his show. He didn't even know that he was slowly draining the life from this tree and from us. [As she explained, people around the world were watching it and were riveted by her story] So I thought that the best way to save my home is competing on this reality show and win it back. I'm sorry I tricked you all, but I had to do all i can for my kindgom. And It was kinda fun hanging out with you guys. You were all so caring, loyal, funny, smart, and not at all as vicious as my people believed. [The campers all smiled] Except for Heather, she was the worst.
Leshawana: [nods] Mm hm. I know that's right. [Lindsay, Beth, and Gwen agreed with her]
Gloria: I've made so many friends here, and I got to truly know what humans are like. You may be different but inside, we're all the same.
Trent: Gloria, why didn't you tell us? We're your friends.
Beth: Yeah, true BFFs are honest with each other.
Gloria: I had to keep my secret safe, if Chris found out that a fairy is on his reality show, he'd catch me for sure. But none of that matters now, the tree is dying and my magic isn't enough to revive it. I just thought I could make things better for my kingdom, but I was too late...
[Gwen placed her hand on her shoulder]
Trent: Well, fairy or not you're still our friend.
Owen: Yeah. You're a gopher through and through.
Gloria: [smiles] Thanks guys, that means a lot. If the situation's changed I still would've been on here.
[Gloria's human friends gathered around and hugged her. As she smiled, she sensed another familiar magic. She looked up and saw all the other fairies flying in from another part of the island. Everyone was in awe as they saw this. King Richter and Queen Mucina were the first to come down and grew into human size.]
Richter: It's never too late, daughter.
Gloria: Mom! Dad! [Runs up to her parents and hugged them] Guys, these are my parents. King Richter and Queen Mucina.
Lindsay: [gasps] You're parents are royalty!?
Gloria: Yep. And I am the princess. [curtseys]
Richter: It is such an honour to meet Gloria's friends. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter.
Owen: Bring it in buddy! [Hugs Richter crushingly]
Richter: [grunts] Are human hugs supposed to be this... gk... suffocating?
Gloria: No, just Owen's. [To Owen] Let him go, Owen, You're crushing him. [Owen lets go of Richter]
Izzy: [Pops from behind Richter, scaring him a little] So, I hear you guys talk to animals right? Can you talk to sharks?
Richter: Rarely. Sharks don't exactly listen to reason.
Izzy: What about penguins?
Richter: Yes.
Izzy: Badgers?
Richter: [Getting annoyed] Yes...
[As Izzy continued, Mucina came to Gloria]
Mucina: Your human friends certainly are interesting, Gloria.
Gloria: They sure are... [sighs and looks at the tree] I'm sorry... I couldn't save the tree... My magic just wasn't enough to heal it.
Mucina: Gloria, remember what your father taught you. There is always another way.
Gloria thought for a moment, then she looked at all the fairies around her and then it hit her. She finds another way.
Gloria: That's it! Everyone! [The fairies all looked at her. The outsiders stopped hurting Chris. Except for Addison who hit him on the head one more time]
Chris: Ow!
Gloria: My magic wasn't enough to heal tree, but maybe all our magic is.
Addison: She is right. By my calculations we have just enough magic to heal the fairy tree.
Gwen: Do you really think that will work?
Gloria: It has to! Everyone, around the tree!
All the fairies surround the tree and placed their hands around it. They stary to glow and more and more parts of the tree were reviving.
Gloria: It's working! Come on everyone! Keep going!
The fairy tree started to regain it's magic and so did the fairies, then the magic started lifting the tree up and hovered it in the air.
Richter: Our beautiful tree! It's alive again!
Gloria: We're not done yet! Let's take her back to where it belongs!
The fairies took the tree back to the spot and the campers followed. They carried the tree all the way through the forest and to the part where the tree originally was. They placed it in the hole and the roots dug into the dirt, sticking the tree in it's original place. The fairies and the humans were in awe as they saw the great fairy tree back in it's orginal state and it's magic stronger then ever.
Richter: We did it! Balsa is saved! [Everyone cheered]
Gloria: Yes! We actually did it. [The outsiders ran in and hugged her]
Monica: You the fairy! [High fives Gloria]
Gwen: [Hugs Gloria] I knew you could do it!
Gloria: You weren't so bad yourself. [Richter came up to her]
Richter: Gloria, today you made us all proud. And your compassion to the humans proved to be an admirable trait. You are going to make a wonderful ruler of Balsa. Speaking of, perhaps it's time we had a do over of your centennial. With a few special guests. [Gestures to the humans who smile at this]
Owen: Woo hoo! Party!
Later that night, the citizens of Balsa and the campers were in the forest celebrating the centennial. The film crew was filming every second of it as everyone had fun. Zach was playing with Trent's guitar, George was laughing with Owen, Cedric was showing his magic skills to DJ, and Gloria was talking to Gwen.
[Heather marched up to Gloria wearing a wig]
Heather: So you were a fairy this whole time? Ha! I knew something was off about you! Just to let you know, this doesn't change anything between us.
Gloria: [Holds her nose] Whatever, stinky. [Heather groaned and walked away] So Gwen, what are you going to do with all that green paper?
Gwen: You mean money? Well, I am planning on travelling. See the world, then I go to university to study art history.
Gloria: That's sounds great. Wish I can travel the world. Though I think my wing would be crazy sore from flying all over the world. [Gwen laughs]
Gwen: Promise you'll never forget me when you become queen?
Gloria: I never forget my friends. [She and Gwen clink cups together]
Richter: [offscreen] Gloria! [Gloria sees Richter and Mucina atop a pedestal, she turns into her fairy size and flies up to them; clears throat] People of Balsa! And humans of Wawanakwa. We'd like to thank you for coming to this year's centennial! [The fairies and humans cheered]
Mucina: Not only will we be passing the crown to another member of the royal family, we would like to honor her. For going above and beyond, taking charge, and saving the kingdom from anihliation. [Takes off her crown] I can think of no one else who deserves this honor then our daughter, Gloria! [Places the crown on Gloria's head and she was happy to receive the honor]
Richter: All fairies big and small! We present to you, our new queen!
[Everyone cheered and clapped for Gloria. While Heather just clapped and rolled her eyes. Owen cried out tears of joy]
Owen: [cries] I haven't been this happy, since the vegas style all you can eat buffet at Darwin's Food Safari!
[As everyone celebrate Gloria coronated as the new queen of Balsa. Chris, Chef and Chad watched from afar. Chris was dissappointed that the fairies won and got the tree back]
Chris: [groans] Ugh! There goes the awesomest thing that ever happened to me. No one's gonna watch this mushy crap. I'm ruined! [His phone rings, he answers it] Hello? [hears chattering on the other line] The network exectuitves. [sighs] Saw this coming. So how bad is it? Are we getting canceled. [He heard chattering on his phone and was surprised at what they said] The finale was a hit? How many ratings? People love fairies!? [He heard them talking and he smiled] I'll start production next week! [Hangs up] YES! I got another season! Chris MaClean wins, baby!
[Laughs triumphantly and starts dancing. Chef and Chad rolls their eyes. Fade into the kingdom of Balsa the next morning.]
And so, Gloria finally became queen and saved her home. Speaking of home, Gloria made true on her promise on giving the Outsiders a home in Balsa.
[The Outsiders were living in a house in the middle of the kingdom. With rooms for each fairy. Addison was studying in one room, Zach was jamming in another room, Monica was playing darts in her room, and George was sleeping on the couch in the living room]
Mucina and Richter were enjoying their retirement, they spend their days by the beach in Wawanakwa dancing the night away.
[Richter and Mucina were salsa dancing by light of the sunset]
Daniel the Sasquatchanakwa found new roomate in Mr Bruce, who was looking for a friend as well. They spend their days sipping muddy water and talk.
[Mr Bruce and Daniel we sitting down in a cave swapping stories and drinking muddy water]
Mr Bruce: So then the tick says, get this bear off my butt!
Daniel: [laughs] Oh man! That's a good one!
Mr Bruce: Yeah, and this tea is delicious! You have to tell me your recipe!
Daniel: Actually, it's just muddy water I got from the lake.
Mr Bruce: Oh, guess that explains why tastes like fish. I love it! [Clinks cups with Daniel]
And Gloria, well, she is living her dream as the new queen of Balsa. Every day she helped people and made them happy.
[Cut to Gloria near a newly built fairy playground]
Gloria: I hereby declare this new playground open. [She opens the gate and the fairy kids rushed inside. Two fairies played on the monkey bars, one played on the vine swings, and one kid was riding a carousel while another one spun it]
Fairy mom: Oh, your majesty this is wonderful. How did you ever create such a place.
Gloria: It was actually inspired by my adventure in that reality show. But way less deadly.
[Cut to Gloria going inside the castle after a long day of helping people. She walked into the throne room with Cedric aside her]
Mucina: And how was your day?
Gloria: It was great mom, I just opened a fun new playground.
Cedric: And the children could not be happier.
Richter: Excellent, work. I knew I made the right choice making you the queen.
Gloria: Thanks dad. [She walked over to the balcony and saw all the fairies in the village living their lives in peace. She sighed wistfully. Then her dad came in behind her]
Richter: You know I remember being on this balcony when you were young. Amazing how things change over the years.
Gloria: Yeah. One minute your partying, the next you're getting sucked out of your home and competing on a reality show to save your home from getting destroyed. [sighs] You know dad, if it wasn't for Chris. I wouldn't have met the Outsiders, or Owen, Or Lesahawna, or Gwen.
Richter: I wish I was more like you Gloria. So open to new things, always looking on the bright side, and so compassionate. Even to humans.
Gloria: And that's why I'm ruler and you're not. [Laughs]
Richter: [Laughs] Never change, Gloria. [Puts his arm around her]
Gloria: I never will.
[Screen pans away from the castle]
And so all ended well, for both fairies and humans. For all in Wawanakwa, even Chris. Who oddly enough got his show greenlit for another season. But that's a whole different story.
[Screen continues to pan away from the kingdom, and out of the tree.]
So let this be a lesson to one and to all...
[Camera pans away from the forest and zooms away from the island]
To never give up and never stop believing...
[Camera zooms away from the earth and stops]
There will always be another way.
