Tala can't stop quoting songs. Kai can't read without silence. Tala likes to annoy Kai. Kai likes revenge.

Kai's eyes went from one word to another as he read his new book. Though he had just gotten it ths almsot half way through. Right now, the main character's friend was trying to break a fight in the school halls apart.

Tala read the book over Kai's shoulder and smirked.

"Can't take the kid from the fight, take the fight from the kid," sang Tala.

Kai ignored him. Tala noticed this.

"Give me envy, give me malice, give me your attention."

Kai's eye twitched.

"Why don't you bug someone else? Isn't anyone else here?"

"No, no, no. You know it will always just be me."

Kai closed his eyes that wouldn't stop twitching.

"Let's get these teen hearts beating FASTER, FASTER!"

"What must I do to get you to shut up?" asked Kai, dog-earing the page and setting the book on the table beside the leather chair.

"Sit tight, I'm gonna need you to keep time. C'mon, just snap, snap, snap your fingers for me."

"Shouldn't you be somewhere else?"

"Isn't this exactly where you like me? I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know."

"At least Ian's not here..."

"Well this calls for a toast, so poor the champaigne, poor the champaigne."

Kai's veing throbbed as he got up from the chair, tucked the book under his arm, and began to walk to his room.

As he entered he small room, he sat down on the bed. Tala hadn't come in yet, so he was safe-

"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the God damned door?"

Maybe not.

"Why are you here?"

"Don't you get it, don't you get it, now don't you move."

"This is my house, where would I go?"

"Just stay where I can see you - DOUSE THE LIGHTS!" As Tala yelled/sang this line, he clapped his hands once and the lights went off.

"Why...?" groaned Kai, looking up towards the ceiling...though all he could see was darkness.

"When you're in black slacks with accentuating off-white pin stripes, whoa-oh, everything goes according to plan."

"THAT'S IT!"

Kai, on the brink of insantiy, tackled Tala. He knew where he was by that black-hole of a mouth. Kai clapped, and the lighs went on. He looked down and saw he was stradling Tala who's hair, Kai noticed, was down and sprewn around the heart shaped face. Wonder if he knew he look hot as hell...

"You look terrible."

"I've never looked better and you can't stand it," sang Tala with a smirk.

Can't stand it indeed.

"What makes you think you can get away with annoying me every day and get away with it?"

"I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck than any boy you'll ever meet," sand Tala innocently.

"More wit? I doubt that. Hotter touch? Eh. Better kiss?" Tala's eyes widened as the bluenette's lips came crashing down on his own. Though Tala couldn't stop grinning like mad for some reason, he kissed back. They broke away after what seemed like years.

"Yup, better kiss."

"What about the last one?"

Kai smirked and raised an eyebrow. Tala smirked back. They both looked at the bed a few feet away, then back at each other.

"Let's find out, shall we?"
