Betrayed
John looked up from pushing Amy's wheelchair, into two familiar faces. He wasn't sure if he'd ever seen that look on Elliot's face before, it was a mixture of shock and anger. The look on Casey's face was familiar, though he'd never expected to see her level it at him, and it made him wonder. Granted many people would see what he was doing as a mistake, those who couldn't see pass the law to the morality of the situation, but why did Casey look like he'd betrayed her, as though he weren't taking Amy to an operating room, but out on a date?
No Need To Explain
Casey looked out her peephole, she wasn't really sure her visitor was John; he was usually so cocky. The man outside her door looked very uncertain.
She opened the door, "Hello, to what do I owe the honor of your presence?" she asked, trying to sound light-hearted but failing.
"I thought after what happened at the hospital, well I felt I owed you an," he hesitated, his pride wouldn't let the word apology pass his lips, "an explanation."
"You don't." She reached out, took his hand, turned and led him toward her couch. "But if it will make you feel better, I'll listen to one."
He smiled and began to talk, never relinquishing her hand.
To Forgive Divine
"What's up between you and my partner?" Fin asked, as he shot a look at Munch making his morning tea.
"Don't know what you mean," Elliot dodged.
"Unh uh, I've noticed it too, there's a different vibe between you two," Olivia added.
"Yeah, since that black market organ thing," Fin said, realizing when the change occurred.
"What's the pow wow about?" Munch asked.
Fin, knowing evasion would make John suspicious and that truth might yield answers, replied, "We were discussing the recent change in attitude between you and Elliot."
Munch exchanged a look with Elliot, "Let's just say, Elliot realized I'm more human than he thought, and I found out there's a touch of the divine in him."
