Remembering a Promise

Kazuki is running on all four with a big happy face and laughing in a wide field of green grass and some trees enjoying the awesome freedom of the great outdoors. Until everything around him suddenly changed into a scene where he's on the bridge and sees a small girl right in front of him, calling him the "Greatest Magician in the World" and telling him she's become his wife someday. Before he could ask her what she means, he felt the ground disappearing and he falls fast into a white void.

Kazuki groans in pain that he fell down from his bed.
"Are you okay?" Yuna asked.
Kazuki was about to respond that he's fine, but his eyes widen of shock of the sound of Yuna's voice very close to him. He looks to find Yuna indeed in his room wearing the school uniform and a cute pink apron in top.
"Good, good morning, Kazuki dear." Yuna greeted a little nervous.
"Y-yes, good mor-wait a minute, what are you doing in my room?" Kazuki asked sitting up.
"Well, it is a wife's job to wake up her husband in the morning after all." Yuna stated with tiny pink dots on her cheeks.
"(My God! She's dead serious about this!)" Kazuki mentally gasped.
Outside the dormitory, Karei is swapping the front yard with her broom like she always does everyday thinking it's going to be another peaceful day.
"Wait Kazuki, what about breakfast,? And prepared the bath for you!" Yuna shouted worry.
Well, as peaceful as it can get, at least.
"I'm fine with just beacon!" Kazuki said running out of the dorm. He wants to get away from Yuna, at least for a while until he can process all that has happened yesterday.
"Shikimori." Karei called out.
"Yes, Miss Manger. I'm kinda in a hurry." Kazuki said running in place.
"Just wanted to wish you both a good day." Karei smiled. Kazuki became confuses what she meant by that since it's just him outside.
"Oh, thank you, Miss Manger!" Yuna thanked after levitating down next to Kazuki who jump in shock.
"Come on, Kazuki, don't want to be late now." Yuna said grabbing the wolf boy's hand drags him to run.
"Hey, wait, I can run on my own!" Kazuki said.
Karei smiles at the two going off to school together and thinking that Kazuki maybe in good hands since he learned of his true family history yesterday, she thinks back at the time when she met the Werewolf King himself.
"Don't worry, Werewolf King, I promise to look after your grandson to the very end.)" Karei thought, remembering the promise she made.
(Aoi Academy)
Kazuki is looking nervous that he is walking to school with a girl he just met yesterday and proclaimed to be his future wife which is still surprising to him that a girl would actually take interest him consider he has the lowest Spell Counts. Still, he can't help but feel that he really meet her a long time ago, especially with that weird dream he had thinking that dream and Yuna could be connected.
"Hello, Darling!" A female voice greeted as a piece of paper floats above Kazuki and puff of smoke burst in an instant and Kuriko appears in Kazuki's arms.
"Kuriko!" Kazuki shocked, and realizing he's holding her in a bridely style.
"Men are more riskier in the morning when they need to be, don't you think that's a tragic waste?" Kuriko asked Yuna.
"I think not!" Yuna disagreed.
"Now, get away from him, please!" Yuna demanded.
"Oh my, Yuna, your skin is simply this morning. Have you already gotten his genes?" Kuriko asked teasing.
"Of course NOT! We're still in high school!" Yuna shouted in embarrassment.
"Then I'll take the first turn!" Kuriko declared.
"It's a bit early to be so improper." Rin said getting the three's attention.
"I cannot take it anymore, I will kill you right here." Rin said bringing out her sword coating it in magic aura.
Kazuki became a little scared of how serious Rin wants to kill him so badly, all because her family wants her to fuck with him.
"Oh Rin, that's a little too extreme." Yuna said protective.
"That's interesting, if you think you can do it then go ahead and try." Kuriko taunted.
"Spirit Charms, do you think that will affect the magic 800-year-old Kamishiro?" Rin asked.
"Hmm, would you care to try it out?" Kuriko asked sarcastically.
"Then you and Shikimori can die together." Rin said preparing herself.
"I am Kazuki's wife and I will protect him!" Yuna proclaimed.
The three girls starts fighting with some explosions and yelling as the students in the area are watching while Kazuki uses the opportunity to slip away from the girls and ran off to his class.
(Class 2-B Door)
"Aww man, can't I just get a little peace and quiet today." Kazuki complained.
Kazuki sees a classmate of his standing outside of the classroom like she was waiting for him to come.
She has long blue-black hair that goes down to her knee level and blue eyes. She wears the Aoi Academy uniform and red shoes. Breasts sizes: G-cup.
"Sayumi Morisaki?" Kazuki wondered why would she be outside of class.
"Hello, Kazuki. I'm surprises you have the guts to come to class at all." Sayumi said.
"Well, I do need to graduate." Kazuki said, noticing the serious look in Sayumi.
"Our classmates are still angry with me, aren't they?" Kazuki asked, Sayumi nodded making the wolf boy sigh.
"Yes, and they have prepared to court you for having three girls fighting for you." Sayumi informed.
"Oh, I see." Kazuki said nervous staring at the door of his class.
"I wish you good luck." Sayumi said walking away.
"Huh, where are you going?" Kazuki confused.
"I got permission from Iba-Sensei to be excuse." Sayumi answered.
Kazuki felt jealous that Sayumi get to be excuse from class today while he will have to deal with all of Class 2-B going after his life or his genes, whichever reason doesn't try to kill him first. Hopefully things don't go too extreme in first period.
(Later)
The again, he could wrong on so any levels today.
"WILL YOU ALL JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!" Kazuki begged as he is being chased by his classmates.
"You won't get away!" Kazumi shouted flying with a fireball in her hand.
Even with his super speed, he can't seem to escape from the wrath of 2-B as they want a piece him: the girls wanted to have his genes for have a powerful child of their own while the boys are out for blood in jealous rage thinking Kazuki shouldn't be this lucky for have three sexy girls all to himself.
And it all started with the new girl named Yuna and telling everyone that she is his wife.
"Damn it, I need to hide!" Kazuki panicked, looking around to find a good hiding place.
"Hey, Kazuki! Over here!" Yukihiko shouted waving his arms in the air.
Kazuki worry that he would try to do something like the others, even though he's offering to help him hide. It's better to have him than getting the whole class, he jumps right next to Yukihiko and he put up a barrier with a magic circle beneath their feet making them invisible to everyone as they ran pass them. As soon as they're gone, Yukihiko undid the barrier.
"Thanks, Yukihiko. That's was a close call." Kazuki sighed in relief that he's safe for now.
"No problem, that's what friends are for." Yukihiko smirked.
"Okay, so what do you want?" Kazuki asked, knowing full-well that Yukihiko wouldn't do this for free.
"I want you to put in a good word of me to that Kuriko chick, maybe get to her to go on a date with me or maybe hook me with some other sexy girls." Yukihiko said bumping his fist on Kazuki's chest.
"Well, she definitely wouldn't want to go on a date with consider you did tried to peep on her yesterday." Kazuki pointed out.
"And besides, I always thought that you and Kazumi would be a better couple together." Kazuki blurted out, causing Yukihiko to gasps.
"Wh-what, you think so?" Yukihiko asked, blushing a bit
"Yeah, me and some of the others in class thought about it." Kazuki said. Yukihiko started having dirty thoughts of Kazumi wanting him to seduce her, but he quickly shook them off wanting to get back to the subject.
"Well, it's not like Kuriko really loves you or anything, she and the other girls just want your genes." Yukihiko stated.
Kazuki know that the pervert classmate is right, because of what Dr. Akai said about having powerful genes and being the grandson of the Werewolf King everyone wants to be on his good side just for something selfish in return.
Then the image of the necklace pops in his head again, making Kazuki thinks about Yuna wondering if she's like the other girls here or maybe different.
"Hey, Yukihiko, can I ask you something?" Kazuki asked.
"What's up man."
"...Do you ever feel like you seen something a long time ago, but can't remember what it was?" Kazuki asked.
"Hmm, that's a tough one, it's not that easy to remember something even though it's something you should never forget, like a promise ones made to another." Yukihiko explained the best he could.
"A promise…" Kazuki said starting to remember something about a promise he made. That when he felt like realization has hit him in the face like a meteor.
The little girl he met on that bridge all those years ago was in fact Yuna herself. He remembered she wished that her family didn't have to move but he couldn't grant that wish, so he asked her for another wish and she did that she wanted to see snow in the summer. Kazuki did just that proclaiming herself to be the greatest magician in the world and she smiles happily believing that.
He know what he has to do.
"Well, thanks for the talk." Kazuki thanked before running off leaving Yukihiko alone.
"Does this mean I may get that date with Kuriko?" Yukihiko asked, but got no repile thinking it was worth a try anyway.
"So, me and Kazumi?" Yukihiko said thinking that he and Kazumi could make a good couple. Maybe.
Kazuki is walking down some hallways doing some deep thinking of Yuna and the talk he had with Yukihiko, especially about a promise which he seem to remember he made one but can't exactly remember what it was. He knows they're all connected that much for sure, but he can't figure out the rest as it's all a blur to him. Maybe he'll ask Yuna when he see her after school.
"Hey Kazuki, I was wondering if you want to hang out." Kuriko suggested wanting to get close to the young wolf king.
"No thanks, I actually have… plans." Kazuki tried to come up with a good excuse.
"Oh, come on now, don't you want to hang out with little ol' me, I have some fun plans I think you might enjoy." Kuriko said with a sexually tone and pressing her breasts together making Kazuki blush as she leans closer.
Kazuki tries to back away but then he sees Rin with her sword right near his neck.
"You better choice your next words carefully, otherwise you'll be fangless when I'm done with you." Rin threatened.
Kazuki tries to think of a quick escape plan not wanting to deal with Kuriko's seducation or Rin's anger, then an idea pops in his head.
"Look, it's the Principal flying on a broom!" Kazuki pointed up.
Kuriko and Rin look up see the Principal, but all they saw was nothing but clear blue sky and few clouds. The moment they look away Kazuki disappears from the two girl before the girls realizes there was nothing in the sky and notice Kazuki is gone.
Kazuki is seen hiding behind the corner of a hallway peeping out a little making sure Kuriko and Rin aren't following him after tricking them earlier.
"Hey, Kazuki." Kari sneaked up on him, making him jump in surprise a bit.
"Miss Iba, you scared me!" Kazuki winced.
"Relax, there's no one in the area though I suggest you head back to class before the day is over." Kari said. Kazuki sigh knowing she's doing her job as a teacher, he only wish that his classmate don't death-glare at him the whole time.
(Afternoon)
Kazuki made it back to the boy's dorm knowing he's been through a rough day with his classmates being all angry with him and jealous, and the girls constantly chasing after him almost all day. There he sees Yuna talking to Karei.
Kazuki smiles seeing his childhood friend, took a deep breath and held up his hand towards the sky channeling his magic power for one blast shooting it up at the sky.
"So, I wanted to, huh,…?" Yuna paused her sentence when she thought she saw a snowflake falling. Then she land Kareiooks up to see more snow falling from the summer sky.
Kazuki's magic caused the weather to snow all over the whole city for everyone to see.
Yuna turns around to find Kazuki standing at the gateway of the dorm with a gentle smile on his face.
(Dr. Akai Office)
"He ended up using his magic today." Dr. Akai said watching the snow falling.
(Back with Kazuki and Yuna)
"You… you used your magic?" Yuna asked.
"It's my way of apologizing for forgetting about you, sorry." Kazuki apologized.
"No, there's nothing to apologizes for, I'm just really happy to be with you. When my family told about the boy I should with, I felt overflowing with joy that I get to see you again!" Yuna said happy.
"Yeah, I also remember you making a promise to me about… becoming my wife." Kazuki mentioned nervous, scratching the back of his head.
"Yaw, you remember!" Yuna jumped onto Kazuki into an embrace as she laughs of joy. Kazuki smiles glad that he was able to make Yuna happy just like before and return the embrace.
Meanwhile, watching the whole scene on the rooftop of the dorm are Kuriko and Rin watching the falling snow.
"Snow in summer." Rin said, amazes that Kazuki could pull such a feat.
"That boy truly is amazing than just his genes and being the Werewolf King, snow in summer is nearly impossible even for 20 strongest magicians in the world." Kuriko stated.
Karei looks at Kazuki smiling that everything worked out great with him and Yuna.
Kazuki knows that he will still face some trouble at school and that he now has seven Spell counts left, but he's sure things can't get any crazier than this.

Kazuki has finally remembered Yuna from his childhood and the promise he made liking making snow fall from the summer sky and letting Yuna stay with him even though she has to go to the girls' dorm. It won't be like that for long as Kazuki will soon face a "ghostly" problem with only seven Spell counts now.
