Performing Act to Save Festival Day!
Kazuki is seen walking around seeing his classmates of 2-B are doing some work with class 2-F setting up the stage and helping some with the acting, and seeing the security guards Kuriko hired to make watch Class 2-B very closely to make sure they're not doing anything that would ruin the plan for the play.
"Hey, watch where you swing that thing!" Yukihiko yelled at one of his male classmates.
"Sorry!" He apologized.
"Damn it, I can't believe we're working with Class 2-F because they want to do a joint event together. It makes me sick just to feel their goody two-shoes aura around them, they're teenagers like us and yet they don't want to do anything exciting like making money schemes." Yukihiko complained as he pulls on the rope for the fake clouds to go up for the stage.
"Quit your wincing. It's not like we can say no now anyway, plus there are these guards watching us like hawks on hunting season." Kazumi pointed out at the guard glaring at them.
"Let just get this over with and finish up the stage, the sooner we get it done the sooner we can go home." Yukihiko said.
What they didn't know is that Kazuki has been listening to their conversation with his werewolf super hearing, letting out a sigh.
"I really hope they don't try anything bad during the festival." Kazuki preyed to Heaven that his classmates would behave like good students for once in their life.
"I'm sure everything will work out, you just got to have faith." Chihaya said walking up to the wolf boy.
"I wish to believe that, but when it comes to my classmates, things tend to go south just when things may look good at first." Kazuki explained.
"Well, then maybe we ca use that to make it look good for everyone to enjoy the play." Chihaya suggested.
"Yeah, maybe." Kazuki nodded.
Kazuki's nose suddenly picked up an odd scent just now as the smell feels something more supernatural than the students with magic powers, but couldn't tell what it is exactly because the scent is unfamiliar to him and yet, at the same time it smells familiar as he is confuse.
"Kazuki, is everything okay?" Yuna asked walking up to him after helping out with the background painting.
"I'm not sure, I'm getting a weird scent coming from here, but I can identify what that is." Kazuki said, titling his head in confusion.
"It's probably one of the new Febrezes that a friend of mine is using to make the play more pleasant in the smell." Chihaya said.
"Oh, that sounds nice." Yuna complimented.
"Hey, could we get some help putting these extra props away in the storage house?" A male student of Class 2-F called out.
"I'll do it!" Kazuki volunteered.
"I will help out as well." Sayumi also volunteered to help with the boxes.
Kazuki and Sayumi each picked up two boxes in each arm as they are easy to carry with their strength.
"Hey Sayumi, I just had an idea." Kazuki said.
"What is it?" Sayumi asked.
"Why don't we have a race to see who can get to the storage house first, I'm sure you're curious of how fast werewolves are and think of it as your training for combat." Kazuki explained.
"Hmm, sounds interesting. I guess I could use the workout." Sayumi accepted the challenge.
"Okay, then let's go!" Kazuki excited.
Kazuki and Sayumi got into the running position and sprint at the same time, making a fast run for the storage house with a wind blowing from behind them.
"Huh, I never knew Kazuki would be into competitions like this. It must be his werewolf side trying to make his life more exciting." Chihaya stated.
"Really, I just always thought that's how Kazuki is always has since I met him when we were little children." Yuna said.
"Still, it's nice to see him being more activate than he was before. I was starting to worry that Kazuki was going to have a hard time consider his low magic count." Chihaya admitted.
"I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Kazuki will make sure no one cries on his watch, that's what I always believe." Yuna said proudly.
"Hey, I was thinking the same thing." Chihaya said and the two shared a laughing moment.
Meanwhile, Kazuki and Sayumi are neck in neck with each other making their way to the storage house and both made a sharp right turn as Kazuki use the momentum to get himself a couple feet ahead of Sayumi, but the fighting young woman was determined to win this little race and added a little of her magic power into her legs for an increase in speed. The storage house is just a few meters in front of them and neither speedy students are giving an inch as they try to get ahead of the other, and then they reach the place stomping their foot against the outer wall, leaving little cracks.
"It's… a draw…" Kazuki panted.
"It would seem so; you were a formidable challenger." Sayumi commented.
"Man, I hadn't run that fast in a while. Not since I wanted to avoid the lightning bolts from a big storm last year." Kazuki mentioned as he drops one box to wipe the little sweat off his forehead and move his hand to the side.
"Ah!" Sayumi yelped in surprise.
"Huh, is something wrong, Sayumi?" Kazuki asked as he turns to his right and gasp of what is happening right now.
Unintentionally, his right hand ended up on the surface of Sayumi's big boob as the girl is blushing of embarrassment, red as a tomato, same with Kazuki.
"I'M SO SORRY!" Kazuki jumped back, releasing his hand from Sayumi's breast.
"I didn't mean to! I swear, I would never do something like that to a girl and make them feel uncomfortable!" Kazumi bowed on his knees and his head to the ground.
"It… It's okay, it was an accident, I understand. I won't hold a grudge against you, but you have to promise not to mention this to anyone ever." Sayumi said.
"Yes, I promise." Kazuki nodded.
"Good, now go back to the others. I will handle the boxes from there." Sayumi ordered.
"Okay, I'll be going then." Kazuki sprinted back to the large tent of the stage.
Once Kazuki is out of sight, Sayumi let out a heavy sigh and look down at the breast Kazuki's hand was on.
"(Why is my heart racing so much, the feeling of his hand on my breast? No, I can not be falling for him now of all times, could I?)" Sayumi thought wondered what is going on with her head right now as all she can suddenly think about it Kazuki.
(The Next Day, Aoi School Festival Day)
The Aoi School Festival has started with everyone showing the visitors the stance of entertainment they can enjoy, the items they can win through little games like catching fishes or shooting an item, and all the tasty food the students have prepared for everyone to eat.
Kuriko is walking with two of her maids checking on the festival, see everyone is enjoying their time here and nothing going wrong which is good for her and the school. And her ghost daughter, Elizabeth is helping with the festival too by taking part of the haunted house game one class is doing and giving some visitors a boo, she enjoys it. Rin is hosting the biology club for everyone to see the wonderful things about science of the living bodies, but no one is interested in going there in the slightest much to Rin's disappointing that she couldn't make the science club a little more fun.
At the large tent where both class of 2-B and 2-F are making the final preparation on getting the stage set up for the big show.
"Alright, that should do it." Yukihiko said as he pulls on the rope holding the giant cactus carboard.
"Great job, we did it!" Yuna cheered.
"Now you just have to get into costume and just not to make yourself an idiot in front of the large crowd with their eyes watching you." Kazuki said.
"Are you trying to wish me luck or give me a stage fright?" Yukihiko asked, feeling a little nervous about doing this.
"Don't worry, Yukihiko, it's not like we'll be doing anything besides playing as citizen bystanders with only one line." The male student with glasses pointed out.
"Okay everyone, the audience will be here soon. Take your places." Chihaya informed as she is dress in her princess outfit.
Everyone got in their costume, ready for the play and excited to see how the audience will enjoy all the hard work they went through, even Class 2-B are looking forward to this.
"I have to admit, the costume design is pretty good. It's like I've gone back in time." Kazumi commented on her costume.
"It's too bad you're not taking part in the play, Kazuki. I know you would have been a great hero." Yuna imagined Kazuki as a hero taking on a monster.
"Nah, I'm not into stuff like this but I am happy that my class put their act together to help with the play." Kazuki said, feeling proud of his class.
"But that won't change their ways forever, I believe by tomorrow they'll be back to their old annoying and money scheming self." Sayumi stated.
"Well, it was fun peaceful while it lasted." Kazuki sighed.
Then the play started with everyone doing their parts and so far, so good, everything is in order as the audience is enjoying the play seeing how much work the students have done.
"The play is going so well." Yuna excited.
"Yeah, Chihaya is doing very well." Kazuki admired how Chihaya is doing well at the princess of the play.
"Just wait until you see the special effect I got." Fasutofudo chuckled, who is working backstage.
"What special effect?" Kazuki asked, getting a bad feeling about this.
"Oh, it just something I thought of during the preparation. I thought this could make the play more realistic, so I ordered it and once they get to the monster part that's when the magic happens." Fasutofudo explained.
Back at the play, when one of the female casts announced about banishing a monster from the land suddenly her clothes and everyone else are shredded into pieces leaving only their underwear and then came a giant green slime monster screeching angry.
"Oh my, this looks real." Karei commented as Dr. Akai hum in suspicion.
"What the FUCK is that?!" Kazuki gasped.
"It's a summon beast, and a real one too." Sayumi stated.
"Huh, that's odd. The guy told me it would be a harmless summon beast." Fasutofudo puzzled and got grabbed in the shirt by Sayumi lifting him up.
"You used a real summon beast in the play, are you stupid?" Sayumi death glared.
"I swear, the guy who sold me the summon beast was supposed to be smaller than that and harmless." Fasutofudo panicked and then stop as he remembers something else.
"Now that I think about it, I think the summon beast I requested must have mix up with that one when we bumped into each other." Fasutofudo said.
"It's still your fault!" Kazuki, Sayumi, and Yuna scolded.
"Oh no, this wasn't supposed to be part of the play." Chihaya worried. She saw the green slime is marching its way to the audience, she runs in front of them.
"Folly monster, begone!" Chihaya unleashed a magic ice wave at the monster while making the audience think this is still a play.
The green slime monster got covered in some ice, but not entirely as it easily broke free and set its sight on Chihaya and she runs to lead it away from the audience.
"Even the magic seems real too." Karei said.
"It's not that it looks real because it is real." Dr. Akai revealed as Karei is shock.
"Chihaya!" Kazuki arrived on the stage.
"You arrive, Sir Hero." Chihaya said in acting.
"But under no circumstance should you use your powers." Chihaya put a knight helmet on Kazuki. "Stand back while I defeat this monster myself."
"Wait, seriously? We're still doing the play?" Kazuki asked.
"Kazuki! Chihaya doesn't want to cause a panic to everyone, you'll have to help her." Yuna informed through telepath.
"I guess but didn't even bother to learn the lines." Kazuki said.
"Don't worry, I'll read them and feed you the lines. Just repeat after me." Yuna said as Sayumi is standing next to her and an unconscious Fasutofudo on the floor with a large lump on his head.
"Okay, I'll do it." Kazuki agreed and Chihaya use her magic to change a cloth into a heroic suit of armor.
"I wanted to stand by your side before you awoke, but…" Chihaya went silent looking actually sad as Kazuki notice this.
"(That's odd, I can't find Chihaya's lines anywhere?)" Yuna thought flipping through the pages of the script.
Chihaya cast a fire stream magic to hopefully burn the green slime monster into ashes, but it had no effect as the monster screech laughs at the female human's attempt.
"Run Princess, I will take care of this." Kazuki wanted to deal with the slime monster.
"No, you must not use your magic. I can easily take care of a creature like this by myself." Chihaya unleashed another ice wave attack, but this time stronger than before trapping the slime monster in ice.
"Whoa, that was awesome." Kazumi amazed as Yukihiko nod.
"Wow, amazing." Kazuki awestruck of Chihaya's power.
"You don't need to use your magic." Chihaya said turning to him.
"Sir Hero, please don't forget that your magic is special." Chihaya believed.
But the slime monster broke free of its icy prison and got so angry that it literally turned red and spit out a stream of slime at her, but Kazuki was able to save her using his superspeed. The now red slime monster stomps its slimy foot and spit out another slime attack, but Kazuki raise his hand and use his magic to stop time itself with everything around stop except for him and Chihaya.
"No, you mustn't use it!" Chihaya begged Kazuki not to use his magic.
Kazuki ignore her please and unleash his magic power to resume time and turning the slime monster into a giant ice statue which shattered, and the pieces flew into the air then it fell as snowflakes.
"You did it, Sir Hero." Chihaya hugged Kazuki from behind.
"I told you not to use your magic, dummy." Chihaya whispered.
"I know, but I would never forgive myself if anything were to happen to you." Kazuki stated strongly he hold her hands.
"Thank you, Greatest Magician in the World!" Chihaya thanked and pull Kazuki closer for a kiss on the lips much to his shock.
Yuna gasps as she drops the script book, seeing her beloved Kazuki is kissing another girl and screamed in her head that her chance of stealing Kazuki's first kiss is ruined now.
The crowd cheers of how great the play is without realizing the monster and the magic power were all real except for Karei and Dr. Akai as they realized Kazuki used his magic again.
(Later)
Kazuki is seen sitting with Chihaya and Yuna at the now empty stage.
"Sorry about that, Chihaya." Kazuki apologized for the stupid thing his classmate done.
"Don't worry, at least I got to do the play with you." Chihaya giggled.
"Chihaya, the lines you were saying weren't on the script anywhere." Yuna said.
"Oh, I made them up on the spot." Chihaya revealed and decided to go home right now.
"Wait, you're not going to the folks dance?" Kazuki asked.
"No, if I go with you now then I'll end up not wanting to let you go." Chihaya said.
"But I will say this; I'm glad to go to give you my first kiss and I can reveal my secret to you." Chihaya showed her fangs to Yuna and Kazuki as they are shock.
"My goodness, you're a vampire!" Yuna said.
"But… why did you kept this secret from me?" Kazuki asked.
"Let just say I had an accident years ago and I was afraid, but you always made me feel more open about myself than anyone." Chihaya explained leaning her face close to Kazuki.
"See you later, Mister Greatest Magician in the World." Chihaya quick kissed Kazuki on the lips again and ran off.
Kazuki just stood still shock and amazes that he had his first kiss with his childhood friend Chihaya and wonder if they could hang out some more like old times. While Yuna punt of jealousy that Chihaya got a heads up on her.
Until three days later, he found out Chihaya transferred to another school.

Man, the Aoi School Festival sure was crazy for everyone, especially the play with the summon beast almost ruining everything but Kazuki saved the day using his magic again to stop the monster and Chihaya made her move by kissing him the lips. Too bad he won't be seeing her for a while, wonder how the other girls will react to this?
Kazuki's spell count have drop to five now.
