The Outlaws and Courier went to San Diego to hide out for a while until the heat died down. They go to one of Red Hood's safe houses near the beach. Upstairs, Red Hood was looking at the various crimes worldwide on his computer. Then his phone rang. He looked to see if the caller was unknown and decided to answer it.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Jason, this is Rose. I need your help," said the caller.

"Rose, I thought I'd be the last person you'd call for assistance."

"Look, I don't have time for you to be a smartass. I'm in deep shit."

"So what do you want?"

"I'm in Rome dealing with a group of cyborg mercs who are not too keen on letting me do my job."

"What is your job?"

"Kill some upstart tech wiz named Sam Wood, who has some connection to the underground black market."

Red Hood heard about Sam Wood and helped with a couple of black market dealers selling over the net.

"So, are you going to help? Because I can't talk for too long," said Rose.

Red Hood responded, "Fine, I'll help you, Rose; I'll be in Rome for about a day."

"Got it. See you then, Jason." Rose hangs up.

Red Hood thought having better odds against cyborg mercs was with some extra help. It's a good thing he's got two people now that have nothing better to do.

Two hours later, Jason tells Roy and Six in the living room about the situation with Rose in Italy and that they are going to help her.

"How do you know about this Rose person, Red Hood?" Six said

"They used to date," said Arsenal.

"Ah, got it."

"Yes, we used to briefly date, but that doesn't matter. She needs our help and if she dies, well, that will be on my conscience, plus if her dad finds out that I didn't help, that would be a whole other problem." Red Hood said

"Who is her father then?" said Six.

"You don't want to know," said Red Hood.

"Why is her father so dangerous?"

"Very dangerous."

Six shrugs, "all right then."

"So we go to Rome to help Rose and get out, right?" said Arsenal.

"Right, we're going to take a private jet to Rome, and we're leaving tomorrow."

"I've never been to Europe. This is going to be interesting," Six gets up, undigitized a bottle of Nuka Cola, and walks off.

"Where does he get those sodas?" asked Arsenal.

"No idea. Let's not think about it too much, "said Red Hood.

The Outlaws and Six arrived at the airport the next day wearing casual clothes, got into the private plane that Red Hood bought, and flew off to Italy. Six was reading an old small book titled "True Lives of New York City Detectives."Arsenal played games on his smartphone, and Red Hood was flying the plane.

Six looks at the window and sees a couple of birds flying by all their lives. He had never seen a bird before but only heard about them from ghouls and old books. Actually, seeing them makes him think about what's going on back in the wasteland.

But that thought gets broken when Red Hood tells him and Arsenal, "we are about to land in five minutes."

"Finally, I'm getting tired of sitting around, "said Arsenal. He looks at Six. "So you've never been to Europe?"

"Nope, the only place I've been that wasn't the U.S. was Mexico," said Six.

"What did you do there?"

"Nothing much, it was a shortcut to a place that I needed to deliver a package to,"

"What was in the package?"

"The hell I know."

"You're one strange guy, Six."

"I get that a lot." Six gets back into his book.

Moments after they landed in Rome, They drove to the Rose location, which was a small house outside of Rome. They walked up to the front door, and Red Hood knocked on it.

"Who's there?" said Rose.

"It's Jason," said Red Hood.

Rose opened the door. She wasn't too happy. "I told you I needed your help, no one else."

"Yeah, but these guys can help even the odds against the mercs you are having trouble with."

"You guys just got in."

The three get into Rose's house.

"Nice to see you again, Rose," said Arsenal.

"You too, Rory," said Rose, then asked Six, "and who are you?"

"Courier Six, but just call me Six," said Six.

"What the hell kind of name is that?"

"It's the only one I've got."

Red Hood asked Rose, "So what is the plan?"

"While I did have a plan, since you brought these two, I have to rethink it."

"It shouldn't be that complicated. All we just have to do is get rid of the cyborgs, and this guy is your after will be easy pickings, "said Arsenal.

"Nothing is ever that easy, Rory."

Six walk around the house. He stopped in the living room, looked up at the skylight, and saw someone dropping in. He moved back, and the person smashed the skylight. The person was a cyborg with a yellow cybernetic eye, a redhead, and black and blue metal surrounding his body.

Arsenal, Red Hood, and Rose get into the room and see the cyborg.

"Shit, you were followed," said Rose.

The cyborg spoke with those low-tone filters. "Ravager, you were supposed to leave Italy in twenty-four hours, and time is up."

The cyborg draws a laser rifle from his back before he can do anything. Six tackles him into a glass table, knocks the gun away from him, and gives him a few punches to the face before the cyborgs kick him off of him. Rose runs to another room while Red Hood goes into the luggage to take out a pistol and a combat knife, and Arsenal tries to get his bow out of his bag.

"C'mon, you stupid bow," said Arsenal.

Red Hood stabs the cyborg in the arm and shoots at his gut, but the man ignores the pain and punches Red Hood square in the jaw. Six gets up and undigitized Nephi's gold driver and smashes the club against the cyborg's head.

"Did you hit me with a golf club?" asked the cyborg.

"I think you might get hit with something a lot worse," Six

The cyborg turns around to see Rose with a short sword, and she stabs him in the neck, and he falls to the ground, clutching his bleeding neck until he dies.

Rory looked around at what had just happened, only to say, "We definitely need a new place."
