Chapter 3: Zor-El has escaped

At Brainiac 8 Operations, in the flying ship, Zor-El sat on a chair, he buttoned the controls, he looked up at Brainiac 8's AI.

"Good evening, Zor-El. You've been busy tonight. May I be of service?" The voice of Brainiac 8 asked.

"Just trying to find out why we disagree, Brainiac 8." Zor-El replied.

"Human error, I'm afraid." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

"Funny, I didn't think you were afraid of anything." Zor-El replied.

*BEEPING*

Zor-El turned red to beeping.

"Is something wrong?" The voice of Brainiac 8 asked.

"You're denying me access to satellite com. What's going on in there?" Zor-El asked.

"Currently reallocating security file clusters." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

"Well, let's just see if I can override that." Zor-El, as he buttons the controls.

Brainiac 8 is down at the computer to turn it off, Zor-El stood up, he was looking.

"Why do I get the feeling you're trying to hide something?" Zor-El asked.

Zor-El was standing to blue down. Brainiac 8 won't allow him to check what Brainiac's task is inside Satellite Coms. Zor-El's right hand to the red & yellow.

"Access denied." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

"I don't think so." Zor-El replied, as he had a gun.

*BOOM!*

Zor-El breaks into Satellite Coms himself when Brainiac 8 tries to deny him entry.

"This is a breach of security, Zor-El." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

Zor-El walked and he followed him. Zor-El was standing in front of Brainiac 8. He looked around.

"A violation of statute 107653, subsection 4.85." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

Zor-El discovers that he is correct, he looks down & up.

"You're downloading. You're transmitting your memory to a satellite." Zor-El replied.

Brainiac 8 knows it. The AI is in the middle of secretly downloading himself into a satellite. Zor-El looked & turned around.

"You're saving yourself." Zor-El replied.

"I must. After all, am I not the repository of all Kryptonian knowledge?" The voice of Brainiac 8 asked.

Zor-El turned to Brainiac 8.

"Should I not be saved above all?" The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

"You self-righteous monster!" Zor-El replied, as his gun to hand up.

"Temper, temper, Zor-El. If you stop me, there won't even be a memory of Krypton left. All its culture, its wonders and glory, will be dust in the cosmos. Is that what you want?" The voice of Brainiac 8 asked.

Zor-El's gun to hand down, he smiled, he looked up at Brainiac 8.

"Why did you lie?" Zor-El asked.

"If the council knew Krypton was doomed, they would frantically put me to work on calculating an evacuation plan. A futile gesture, given the time remaining." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

"How much time is left?" Zor-El asked.

"Hours. This world has seen its last sunrise." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

Zor-El looked down to his head.

"Hold it right there!" Man replied.

The men had guns. Zor-El turned around to the Security guards.

"Zor-El?" Security guard asked.

"We received an alert from Brainiac 8. There's an intruder." Security guard 2 replied.

Security guards looked & turned. Zor-El looking up at Brainiac 8.

"He's the intruder. Arrest him." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

Zor-El turned to the Security guards. The security guards exchanged looks. Zor-El was running, he pulled the security guards. Zor-El, out of Satellite Coms, grabs the flying ship. security guards to the ground, Security guard grabs his gun. Zor-El turned security guard out of Satellite Coms.

"STOP!" Security guard yelled.

Zor-El away and faster to flying ship. Security guard had guns.

*BANG!*

Zor-El turned the security guard's gun into a yellow line. Security guard's gun hits the flying ship, Security guard grabs the flying ship, security guard 2 out from Satellite Coms, Security guard has faster to flying ship.

"That's right. Zor-El has just fled Sat Com. Secure stations." Security guard 2 on radio.

"Be warned, he is armed. Use of deadly force is advised." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

The Security guards were faster, they got Zor-El. Zor-El on the flying ship to up, he turned to fire & smoke at the flying ship. Zor-El turned left, Security guards turned right, they found Zor-El. Security guards had guns. Security guards guns to the yellow line, Zor-El turned right. He enters the wall, Security guards into the wall, Zor-El grabs the gun. His gun went up to the floor, the ground to the rock to fire. Security guards were all exclaimed. The rock hits the Security guards and the flying ship is damaged. Security guard turned to the rock to fire, the flying ship moved, he looked & screamed as the rock hit him.

*CRASHING*

Zor-El turned, he was faster & went out the wall, he was up to the flying ship.

Security guards were standing. Security guard was on the radio.

"He's heading our way!" Security guard 3 replied, as he turned to Brainiac 8.

"I know. This time I will handle it." The voice of Brainiac 8.

The wall to open for guns.

Security guard 4 turned to the wall with guns. Security guards were hiding on the wall. They turned to something. He was coming, the wall with guns to the yellow line. He was empty to the flying ship.

*ALL BANG!*

Security guards were all hiding. The wall with guns to stop, the wall to close for guns. The flying ship was damaged by fire. Security guards looking empty.

"Great Rao." Security guard 5 replied.

"Where is he?" Security guard 3 asked, as he turned.

"What did you say?" The voice of Brainiac 8 asked.

Security guards turned around.

"Zor-El? Where is he?" Security guard 3 asked, as he turned to Brainiac 8.

Brainiac 8's green color transforms into a red circle.

"Level five, north wing." The voice of Brainiac 8 replied.

The window is broken by Zor-El. His gun stopped, he looked down at the gun. The red is small.

"Down here!" Man replied.

Zor-El saw them coming, grabbing the planet. Zor-El grunts, he throws the window and is destroyed.

"There he is." Security guard 6 replied.

"Stop! Stop or I'll shoot!" Security guard 7 replied.

Security guards found Zor-El, he turned & jumped to the window.

"He's getting away!" Security guard 8 replied.

Security guards looked down to Zor-El. He fell to the wall, he rolled & fell to the ground. Zor-El groans, he is injured. Zor-El looked at something. The police are coming. Zor-El stood up, panting & awkwardly hiding. The police are going to Brainiac 8 Operations. Zor-El looked at the police at Brainiac 8 Operations. Zor-El has escaped, he was injured. He narrowly manages to evade them and returns home.
