Feeling like a truck had hit him, Bucky rolled onto his back and did a mental check of his body. He didn't think anything was broken, but he might have a concussion and felt like someone had kicked him in the balls. It wasn't the first time he'd woken up beat all to hell and not knowing what happened. Hearing soft sobs, he realized Wanda was here. He rolled over, and when he saw her, it broke his heart. Steve stood in front of her, holding his arm out to shield her, watching Bucky with concern. Her eyes watched him wildly. "Wanda, it's me. He's gone." Slowly lowering her hands, she eventually just collapsed to her knees, crying.

Bucky rushed over to her. Kneeling in front of her, he gathered her up in his arms and examined her for injuries, as he kissed her frantically and held her, the dreadful realization that he could have woken to her broken body making him sick. It stunned him she had no injuries, but she was shaking so much, he knew it had been bad. "I'm sorry. Oh God, Wanda. I am so, so, sorry. Are you hurt?" He lifted her face up and repeated himself louder, "Are you hurt?"

Wanda shook her head before burying her face into his chest. Between the sobbing and shaking, she was a mess, her reaction even stronger than the night in the woods with her power explosion. Bucky knew he had to leave her before he killed her. Tears filled his eyes, and he tightened his arms around her. He really didn't even know what it was worth to keep fighting for this if he lost everything worth living for.

Steve watched them for a few minutes, then wordlessly went to stand by the door, giving them privacy but remaining for Wanda's protection.

When she calmed down a little, Wanda began kissing him tenderly, her fingers tracing his face. Bucky didn't understand how she could be so loving to him after he, as the Winter Soldier, had just terrorized her. Perhaps she needed to assure herself that this was Bucky, not his alter ego. Her tenderness soon turned to a frantic desire. He followed her lead, needing to feel her just as much as she needed him. Steve being in the room forced him to stop.

"Let's go into the hotel," he mumbled. He wrapped his arm around her to give her support. Steve followed them as they left, still not saying anything. It was obvious he was raging, though. Bucky wondered if he was angry at him or just about the situation. Or maybe he felt guilty for leaving them out there. But Bucky's focus returned to the conflict between Wanda and the Winter Soldier. During stressful situations, his memories between the two of them could delay or just disappear. Wanda said sometimes it was his mind blocking the worst memories out. Is that what happened? But she didn't have a scratch on her. Not even a bruise. And he had accidentally bruised her multiple times, not even attempting to hurt her.

When they got to the hotel, Bucky jogged into the kitchen and grabbed some brandy, thinking Wanda might need something. Steve took her to her room, standing in the open doorway after she laid down. Bucky went in and gave her a glass of brandy. "If you need it to settle your nerves," he said caressing her cheek. He leaned forward and kissed her on the forehead. "Let me talk to Steve for a few minutes and I'll be back."

He wasn't expecting her to panic. "Why do you need to talk to Steve? He wasn't there when it happened. I called him after." Her voice raised an octave making it clear she was upset about him talking to Steve. He didn't understand why.

"I'll just be a minute," he promised.

Wanda looked at Steve trying to convey that he wasn't to tell Bucky anything. She hoped he'd stick to the plan.

Steve closed the door after Bucky walked into the hallway. He bent over, putting his hands on his knees. Breathing heavily, he remained there a few minutes before he stood and faced Steve. "How bad was it?"

Steve knew he should be honest but he kept his word to Wanda. "Like she said, I came in after because she called me. She was much like she was when you saw her. Hysterically crying and shaking."

One thing Steve hadn't improved on, his skills at lying. "Steve, she doesn't have a mark on her. He would have hurt her somehow even if he just grabbed her arm. And you're telling me not one mark and nothing seems off?" Bucky asked, praying that Steve wouldn't lie to him again.

He didn't lie, just changed the subject. "From now on, I will be out there with you two. No debating or arguing about it."

"I can't do this. I have to leave or I'll end up killing her. I can't stay here with her."

Steve put his hand on Bucky's shoulder. "She said she knew where the brainwashing was buried and would finish soon. Whatever she did that allowed her to find them, obviously triggered the Winter Soldier. But if I'm out there and maybe we restrain you ahead of time, then she could do it safely. Don't give up on this, Bucky. Don't give up on her. She loves you as much as you love her. You will destroy her if you leave."

"I'd rather destroy her, than kill her." Bucky replied, his voice flat. "What's the point of being free if I have to give up everything that means anything to me?"

"We all want the Winter Soldier gone so you can put that behind you. You deserve to be free. And any future with her depends on you ridding yourself of him. Wanda doesn't hold tonight against you at all. You saw that. Go in there and spend time with her. Don't decide now." Steve felt so conflicted. He knew Bucky needed to be rid of the Winter Soldier but he wasn't sure if he was acting in Wanda's best interest and that bothered him. He was supposed to protect her and shouldn't have allowed her to be out there alone with him when that was going on. Plus, he suspected Bucky knew he was lying.

Bucky nodded slightly and opened her door. He glanced back at Steve, who tried to look supportive when all he felt was doubt. Alone again in the hall, he considered going to his room but knew he'd never sleep, so he knocked quietly on Natasha's door. She took one look at him and pulled him into the room.

Bucky climbed onto the bed beside her, and she wrapped her arm around him. As soon as she lifted her face to look at him, he gave her a long, tender kiss. She moved so she was straddling him as her kisses became more aggressive.

"I need you," she whispered, her hands moving under his shirt. He knew it was weak of him to make love to her right before he planned to leave her. But he needed her, too.

Sitting up, she pulled him to sit up and removed his shirt. The bruises stopped her for a few moments, surprised. She pushed him to lie back, then peppered his bruises with hot, opened-mouth kisses and swirling tongue. Bucky tried to focus on the pleasure, but so much doubt crept in. She looked guilty when she saw the bruises. If she flung him away from her and he hit the back of his head, how did he get so many bruises on his chest and arms? Then she raised her hand over his chest and moved her red energy over him. Bucky watched as the bruises healed. Remembering he hit his head, she healed his concussion as well.

As soon as she did it, he realized what had happened. "Wanda, you did have injuries… you healed yourself." Her gaze flew to his and he saw the panic and regret in them. He could tell she almost lied to him, but eventually she nodded. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. Opening his eyes, he asked, "How badly were you hurt, Wanda?"

"Bucky, I'm fine now. It doesn't matter," she replied and tried to resume kissing him, but he sat up, putting his finger under her chin.

"Wanda, I already know it must be bad by the way you're desperately hiding it. You told me I had every right to all of my memories, including the Winter Soldier's. Are you going to deny me what you told me was rightfully mine?" Anger flashed in her eyes when she realized he had used her own words against her. "Please. It can't be any worse than I am imagining."

Wanda stood up quickly and walked toward the door. Bucky knew her well enough to know she might try to flee from this discussion to shut him down, but he got to her before she could leave, grasping her shoulders. "Unless you're going to get Steve to protect you from the Winter Soldier, don't think about walking out that door. Tell me Wanda."

She turned away and shook her head. "I will tell you after I remove that bastard from your mind."

"Then I suppose its best if I leave tonight rather than tomorrow." Letting her go, he walked into his room and over to his stuff. As soon as he reached for his bag, she jerked it away with a shot of energy. Bucky faced her. "What else can I do? If I push you to tell me or try to leave, then I'm hurting you, but if I don't leave, then I might kill you."

"It was my fault. I felt something strange and I pushed it instead of stopping."

"Don't do that. Don't." He pointed at her, so angry that she would blame herself. Bucky felt like he was in hell. "You're hiding your wounds and refusing to tell me how bad it was. I hesitate to find out what Steve knows. Or if he helped you lie to me. Don't tell me it was your fault. Let me guess, I hit you? Choked you? How many broken bones? There is no way you would make it out of there without injuries."

He rushed at her and reached for her throat with his vibranium arm. As soon as she backed away, her hands instinctively raising to protect herself, he knew. "I choked you." Wanda didn't confirm it but she didn't need to. He reached out to touch her face but she didn't react as quickly or defensively as her throat. "At least I didn't hit you in the face. Do I have to go on using this method to find out where I hurt you or will you tell me? Or maybe I should ask my best friend who just lied to my face."

"Stop saying you! It wasn't you. It was him."

Wanda turned away, unable to face him. And Bucky lost his temper. "Forget telling me. Let me see."

Horrified, Wanda yelled, "No!"

"Show me from your point of view Wanda." He grasped her wrists, pulling her to him, making sure not to hurt her. "I need to see. You showed Steve my past for less justification than that. Did he deserve to see my fear more than I deserve to see yours?" She kept shaking her head and began to sob hh. He was grateful that at least she didn't try to be dishonest.

Bucky stopped as quickly as he started. He realized now he was emotionally terrorizing her.

Wrapping his arms around her, he picked her up, holding her so she looked down at him. "I'm sorry Wanda. I don't mean to hurt you." Wanda nodded, biting her lip. "Tell me the truth. Did Steve see your injuries?"

Her hesitation spoke volumes, but she said, "I made him promise me. I knew you'd leave me." Her tears started flowing again, and Bucky held her close, letting her cry it out. He decided if he was leaving her tomorrow, he'd spent the night with her in his arms.

In bed, her movements alternated between extremely aggressive to tender or erotic. But every time he thought she was exhausted; she would provoke him again. And he felt insatiable.

He eventually went to get them a few drinks to cool off. He came into the room as she left the bathroom. Still nude, she glanced up at him as he just stared at her, wanting to memorize this moment. Eventually, she came to him and took the drink from him. His memories started flickering back a little but just tiny sections. He called her Vishnya again. Bucky closed his eyes, trying harder to remember, but afraid when he did, it would torture him.

"What is it?" she asked, kissing his neck as she wrapped her arms around him. "Bucky?"

Shaking it off, he said he was just tired. She climbed into bed, and removing his clothing, he followed her. He kissed her, and she whispered for him to relax. As her kisses moved lower, he felt conflicted. He wanted her to continue, but he felt like he was just taking advantage or something, knowing that he still intended to leave. Plus, his heart hurt so much right now. All the joy and happiness they'd had together since arriving in Germany felt like it was being torn away from him.

"Are you sure you're not too tired?" he asked quickly when she reached his belly.

"I'm lying down," she said with a slight smile. "I want to do it. Just lay there and let me, if you can bear it."

Bucky chuckled. Then he tensed up when she took him in her mouth almost completely, since he was only half hard. She once claimed she probably was terribly at blowjobs, but they were good at the start and now she knew exactly how to drive him crazy and then they were amazing. He reached down and moved her hair out of the way, enjoying the view. It wasn't long before he was biting his lip and slowly thrusting into her mouth. She moaned, and it vibrated along his shaft and his breath caught in his throat. Unable to bear it much longer, he sat up and then moved her so she was on her back and crawled between her legs. They both had learned to love giving and receiving oral quickly. He loved having her completely at his mercy. He'd even gotten used to the red energy so much, so he didn't realize it at first that it had disappeared.

Bucky hesitated, conflicted if he should say anything. He didn't know what it meant. And he couldn't remember if it had been there earlier. But didn't seem like the best time to bring it up.

Forgetting she can read minds, sometimes without meaning to, she surprised him when she said, "My power's just a little off right now. I'll be fine in the morning." He wasn't surprised when she withdrew from him though because she didn't like being reminded when she couldn't control something about herself and it made her feel vulnerable. She threw her leg over him so she could just crawl up and lie on her pillow, back turned to him.

"Wanda, you know I wasn't upset, just concerned." He lay behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "It doesn't mean you're weak for me to worry that something is wrong, especially after the night you've had."

When Wanda didn't answer, he said, "Please don't be like that. My parents used to always say it was bad luck to go to sleep angry."

"I'm not angry. I'm just…frustrated. And I don't like it when my power is like this because I worry that I'll need it," she whispered.

"I won't let anyone hurt you," he said, despite the guilt he felt about his plan to leave her.

Soon she brushed her butt up against him a few times and he chuckled knowing what she was saying. Bucky moved her hair away from her neck and began to suck a trail down her throat. He played with her breast and she reached behind her and stroked his cock. After more teasing from both of them, he pulled her leg over his hip and thrust into her quickly, causing her to moan loudly. After a few thrusts, he leaned into her back so she was almost lying on her stomach so when he let her leg go, she tightened around him even more.

"Bucky," she moaned, reaching back and grabbing his hip.

"What do you want, babe? Tell me what you need. Harder? Faster?" he murmured.

"Yes."

Bucky bit gently into her shoulder as his thrusts intensified in speed and strength. He always worried he'd hurt her, but she urged him on now. His hand lowered between her legs, and he stroked her clit until he felt her body quiver.

"God, you feel so damn good," she replied, right before gasping and crying out into her pillow. Even though they had made love so many times tonight, he still felt desperate to come. This time was much more aggressive, it seemed.

It felt like he was so deep inside her. During her orgasm, he almost came because she had such an intense one that it felt like her pussy was sucking him further into her. Now his strokes were hard enough that she cried out each time. He worried he might hurt her, but she met his thrusts.

Bucky knew he'd have a problem coming after they had already made love three times. His stamina had proved to be a bit much for her at times. But tonight, she must have been driven by adrenaline as well as desire because she pled for him to give it to her harder and faster again. He drove her to another orgasm and had to cover her mouth because she was so loud on the second one. He didn't want Steve or anyone else to think he was killing her.

Withdrawing, he rolled her onto her back. "I want to see that beautiful face," he said, kissing her and sliding back into her. Her kisses got aggressive again, digging her nails into his back. Bucky moaned deeply into her mouth as his orgasm overcame him.

Lying beside her, he kissed her and pulled her into his arms. She looked up at him and ran her hand through his hair. She sighed. "I don't think its normal for women to have so many orgasms in one night. My legs are still quivering."

"I'm sorry?" he said with a chuckle. "Should I feel guilty about that? I'm not sure."

"You should feel horrible. And promise me you'll make it up to me for the rest of your life," she whispered, then tears filled her eyes. "Promise me you won't leave me. Promise me that the rest of your life will be with me." He couldn't lie to her, so he just nodded. She wrapped her arm around him and held him tight. They shared tender and loving kisses in between quiet conversations. Eventually settling down, she fell asleep curled around him and he watched her for the rest of the night. He wanted to memorize everything about her.

"Is Wanda still in her room?" Bucky asked Steve. When his friend nodded, he asked him to step outside with him.

"Are things any clearer to you after a night's sleep?"

Bucky nodded but waited a few moments before he said, "I need to leave."

"I thought you were going to stay and we'll just be more careful" Steve watched him with concern.

"I know you saw her injuries before she healed herself. I realized that's what she did when she was healing me. I understand why you felt you had to keep that from me, but you shouldn't have. Actually I can't believe you kept something like that from me. You should have been more worried about protecting her than me," Bucky said, his voice tense with anger. "You lied to my face, Steve. Have you ever done that before?"

Steve shook his head and glanced away for a moment before saying, "I know I should have. I wanted to tell you. And I told Nat last night how stupid I knew what I had done was. But if you left it would hurt her so much and I really think we can be safe about it from now on. She said she knew what she needed to do so its just a matter of her switching them off or whatever."

"Tell me the truth now, Steve. How badly was she hurt?" Bucky gave him a look that let Steve know he shouldn't bullshit him.

"In all honesty it was hard to know too much other than the bruising because she didn't tell me before she healed them what was actually wrong. I think she had broken fingers, ribs, and perhaps her collarbone. She had a lot of bruising, mostly on the neck. But he didn't hit her apparently with your vibranium arm, at least."

Bucky just looked at him for a moment before he almost lost it. Steve knew how mad he was and held up his hands.

"Bucky, I know. I know. I'm an idiot. But fuck, I want you to be happy and I want her to be happy with you. So I let her talk me into the stupidest thing."

"Okay, so you'll have her death on your hands if I'd stayed," Bucky replied, practically seething. Then he felt sick. "How long was he alone with her?"

"I honestly don't know. I was trying to keep her calm because we didn't know how long we had and she had a hard time breathing when she kept crying. It could have been him waking up across the stables, after all. I helped her and I guess I assumed she'd end up telling you and I wouldn't have to lie, but then it just… got fucked up. I understand why you want to leave, but wouldn't it be better to be around people who can help if it happens again?"

Bucky chuckled darkly. "So, I can kill you, Natasha or Sam instead of, or in addition to, Wanda? Steve, please let me go without an argument. I'm not even saying goodbye to Wanda because I can't argue with her again after last night. It's cowardly, but she got hysterical and I agreed to stay. But I'd rather have her hate me than have her last thoughts be of me choking her to death." When he saw Steve's face, he pointed out, "Hey, I had a few happy months. I got to spend time with you and the others, see Wakanda. I finally got to be in love. So it's okay. I'm fine." He wondered if he repeated that lie enough, he would feel it. Right now, his chest was so tight he could barely breathe. He was leaving the only two people he loved. Clearing his throat, he asked, "Do you mind if I take the bike?"

"Take it. What should I tell Wanda? I hate this. She was so close to resolving this for you. I thought you might have peace soon."

"She worked really hard. I feel bad that it was a waste of her time. Just tell her… I don't know. Tell her, I'm an asshole." The thought of Wanda hurt him more. He needed to leave before he changed his mind. "I need to go before she comes outside." They embraced and promised to swap numbers as they changed disposal phones, but Bucky felt like it would be in Steve's best interest if he disappeared on Steve, too.

Actually, it was best if he disappeared. Period.

Leaving the bathroom with her hair in a towel, Wanda got dressed, wondering where Bucky was. She saw a note on her pillow and she sat down to read it.

I have always said that you were so magical, but you thought I meant the powers given to you by the Infinity Stone. You, Wanda, are the real magic. You have given me hope and love, which are two things I never thought I'd ever have again. You gave me peace in my heart most of all. I will cherish every moment spent with you until the day I die. I know this will hurt you, which is almost the very last thing I would want to do. But the actual last thing, the thing that haunts my nightmares and often my daytime thoughts, is the fear of me killing you. Last night, it almost happened. I know if you and Steve both hid it from me, it must have been horrific. The fact these hands caused you so much pain is breaking my heart. I cannot risk hurting you, or worse yet, killing you. Don't excuse it by saying it was the Winter Soldier because either way, they are the same hands and the same face. I don't want you to die looking at my face. I would rather you hate me for leaving you.

I will always love you, Wanda Maximoff, to the depths of my heart and soul. And I will never forget how you brought me back to life. Stay close to Steve. I know he will protect you. If you can, please forgive me.

Always,

Bucky

Wanda dropped the note and ran from her room, down the hallway and outside. Seeing Bucky walking to the bike with a backpack slung over his shoulder, she called out, "Where do you think you are going?"

"Wanda…" Steve began. Natasha and Sam stopped what they were doing and watched from across the yard.

"I'm not talking to you, Steve," she warned, storming after Bucky. "James Buchanan Barnes, I asked you where are you going?"

Her yelling made him slow down and after a pause, he turned around. "Wanda, I'm doing this to protect you. I could have killed you last night. And…"

"You're being a fucking coward!" She shot a blast a blast of energy that threw him about twenty feet, landing hard on the ground. Feeling Steve approaching to stop her, she pushed him back, breaking her own rule to never use her powers on her team again. Focusing solely on Bucky, her head conflicted with her heart, about how to handle it. Her rage roared to take over, but she knew she had to prove to Bucky he could stay without her getting hurt.

Bucky stood up, and she started wrapping him in ropes of magic. "I protected myself last night. Do you really think I am so weak that I need to be protected? Does this feel helpless to you?" She pulled his binds so he couldn't move his metal arm. He grew more and more frustrated, but he hadn't escaped even one strand.

"Wanda, stop!" Natasha ran in her direction but she held her back. She used enough care to not hurt her.

Wanda continued to wrap Bucky tighter as she forced him to walk to in her direction. At one point, he stopped and tried to pull in the other direction, but was unable. The more he struggled, the better it was, she knew. Steve continued to try to stop her, so she just held him away while she did it. Sam and Natasha tried as well, but no one could get anywhere near her.

Wanda wasn't stupid. She knew everyone thought she was going to hurt him in a rage, but she wasn't really hurting him. It was uncomfortable; she was sure. Mainly because he was being forced into submitting. She wanted him to see that she was a match for him, or better yet, she wanted him to see he couldn't best her no matter how hard he tried. Therefore, neither could the Winter Soldier. At least now he couldn't, because she was prepared. Last night caught her off-guard because she thought she could appeal to him based on the fact the Winter Soldier knew her. She never saw that cold, calculating, vicious man before.

Steve walked in her direction, so she squeezed Bucky's magical bonds a little tighter, then shot a warning look at Steve. When he continued, stubborn as he was, she shoved him further back than before and pinned him to the ground. Hell, she'd throw him in his hotel room if he didn't stop interfering. Returning her focus to Bucky, she said, "We are so close. You're going to be free. I know I fucked up last night, got careless, and it scared you. I get that. It terrified me too. I made the mistake of thinking I could predict him and back him down. I was wrong. But Bucky, I'm not giving up on you. Are you going to become the Winter Soldier because you're too scared to be responsible for your own life?"

That thought made her rage again. "Because if you need someone to control your mind…" Punctuating each word with a hard blast of energy, she yelled, "I. Can. Do. That." The last blast probably hurt more than just a punch.

Wanda had to stop for a minute and take a few deep breaths, flung Steve away again so she could talk to Bucky alone. She brought him to her, dropping the magical binding and then said in a much calmer, almost normal voice, "I wanted to give you your life back, but you can't handle that if you're scared off by one mistake. Because you're going to make mistakes. And maybe you're worried that you won't have the Winter Soldier to hide behind as an excuse. I don't know. I never thought I'd see you run away from something."

Bucky ran his hand through his hair and she saw the barely controlled rage in his eyes. She walked up to him, standing very close, close enough that he could easily hurt her if he wanted to. But she wanted him to see she trusted him not to. The others were watching with concern, having no idea what she was going to do next. "You can't physically hurt me so much that I can't heal it," she whispered in a shaky voice, "But if you give up on yourself, that will break my heart. Forever. And I should just bring back the Winter Soldier to kill me because I'd rather die than live like that."

Pain flashed in his eyes, but he held her gaze for a few moments before she turned away and rushed into the hotel, ignoring everyone else. She didn't make it to her room before the tears broke through, so she ran down the hallway as quickly as possible, flinging herself face down onto the bed, her heartache ripping through her. She didn't know if he would still leave her as soon as she came inside.

Within a minute, the door opened, then slammed shut. Wanda jerked around to see who it was when she felt Bucky come up from behind and wrap his metal hand around her neck, as he pinned her on her stomach with his weight. She let out a small cry, feeling him breathing heavy.

Bucky bent down to practically growl in her ear. "I could hurt you again, Wanda. I could kill you. You can't heal that," he ground out through clenched teeth. Squeezing her neck slightly, he wanted her to know he could. Or rather the Winter Soldier could and he didn't share Bucky's love for Wanda. They were both breathing hard now. Forcing himself to calm down for a few minutes, his voice softened; his heartbreak apparent. "Do you know what it did to me that I hurt you? What it would do to me if I killed you?" He paused, trying to push back all the emotions, forcing himself to be numb, but it was impossible. "I couldn't survive that, Wanda."

Letting go of her throat, he allowed her to roll over beneath him. Her lip quivered. "Do you know what it would do to me if you left me?"

Bucky closed his eyes with a deep sigh. "Wanda…I'm just too dangerous. I should never have let our relationship go this far…"

"Do you really regret that?" she asked, her voice showing how hurt she was. "Because it's worth the risk to me. It's worth everything to me." Putting her hands on either side of his face, she pulled him to her for a tender kiss. "Bucky, you are my future. I have to fix this for both of us. Please stay. Don't give up on me, on us. Let me finish helping you and then if you still want to go…" She couldn't lie and say she'd be okay with it. "Stay for yourself, to get your life back. But stay with me."

Bucky's eyes were filled with bewilderment but seeing how sure she was, he eventually agreed. "You know I don't regret being with you. I regret hurting you now. And I'm not giving up on you, sweetheart. I just can't bear to think of hurting you. But I'll stay if Steve never leaves you alone again while we're out there. If it happens again, you have to let me go…without magically humiliating me." She couldn't help but smile.

He trailed his fingers down her face then placed hot kisses down the red marks on her throat. She gripped his sides so he lay completely on her. She moved against him seductively, driving him mad. Bucky had never been driven crazy by a woman but it was a better way to go insane than most.

Wanda pulled his face up and kissed him aggressively. Her tongue massaging his before she sucked his tongue into her mouth. Her heart ached when she thought how she almost lost him. Because Bucky wasn't like any other man. He didn't bother stealing her heart before claiming her soul. If he had left today, it would have killed her.

In between savage kisses, Bucky moaned, "I need you." She could feel how much he wanted her.

Wanda moaned, nodding her head, refusing to stop kissing him though. He moved his hand under her shirt and she lifted her back so he could pull it up. Her breasts always overflowed her bra, so he could lower his mouth to the swells of her breasts. With a deep moan, he marked her with his mouth. She slid her hand down his body to rub his cock through his jeans. His breath caught in his throat. He slid her bra straps down her arms.

"Wanda, Bucky?" Steve called their names and knocked a few times. "We need to talk."

Gasping for breath, the two of them looked at the door, then back at each other with frustration. Bucky debated demanding his friend leave them alone for an hour or two.

Now, looking down at the swells of her breasts, beautiful skin, her mussed hair, her swollen lips, and her passion-filled eyes, he groaned. He hated Steve Rogers.

"I think I'm in trouble. I guess Steve doesn't like it when I bully his friends." Wanda whispered, giving him a lingering kiss. "Steve, just a minute!" She continued to kiss Bucky until he finally pulled away.

"Tell him the bed doesn't have enough room for him too, so he needs to go." Bucky shook his head at her and pulled her shirt back down. He looked so sad, Wanda almost laughed. He held her in his arms, kissing her with hot urgent kisses, his hands under her shirt, sliding into her jeans. "Let me handle Steve." Bucky lifted her into his arms and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He backed up, so he leaned against the door. He really didn't care if Steve got annoyed about waiting. He couldn't keep his hands or mouth off her.

"Wanda?" Steve called out, banging on the door. "We need to talk."

"Are you kidding me? One day soon, you need to sit him down and explain a few things to him about what couples do behind closed doors." Wanda pulled away from Bucky and he lowered her to the floor. "To be continued later." She opened the door and smiled brightly at Steve. "Everything's fine. We worked it all out. Don't worry." She tried to shut the door, but he blocked her.

Steve walked in and glanced at Bucky before turning to her. "It's not fine. Its anything but fine, Wanda. You can't do that shit."

"I was making a point," Wanda said slowly. As soon as he argued, she asked, "How many times did you go at it with Tony or Thor went at Tony at the compound. You guys are allowed to get physical with each other, but I'm not? I didn't hurt him, nor did I hurt you or Nat. I controlled it."

"Steve, its fine. We settled things." Bucky put his hand on his friend's shoulder. "It got a little intense, and we just needed to work some things out."

Ignoring Bucky's comments, he continued to talk only to Wanda, "You used your power on your own team. You tied Bucky up and smacked him around, not to mention, you threatened to use mind control on him. Maybe he doesn't realize how inappropriate that was, but I do. It's a violation…"

"Maybe Bucky's a big boy and can handle himself. Or haven't you noticed?" Wanda shot back. "I am not a child, Steve. Do not talk down to me." Steve glared at her. He looked at her like if he could turn her over his knee or send her to her room, he would.

Bucky walked in between them. "I appreciate everyone being worried about Bucky, but Bucky is standing right here and he's fine and can handle himself. Please don't use me to settle whatever other issues are going on between you two." Steve seemed to lose a lot of his bluster. Wanda glanced at Bucky like he was a traitor before she backed down.

"Steve, she overreacted, yes. But you know what strain she's been under. You have to cut her some slack Steve. I don't think you see how experiencing my trauma has affected her in addition to dealing with the Winter Soldier last night." He reached out and caressed her face. Wanda just gave him a sweet smile, completely in awe of the way he managed say so much with just little touch.

"I am speaking to you as the team leader, not your friend. Don't do that again, Wanda. I seriously didn't know if you were going to kill him or what. And you might have controlled it but it hurt me so I can imagine Bucky got it worse," Steve said before dropping his head in his hands.

"Do you want a Band Aid or should I just go get Natasha to kiss it better?"

"Ha. She's a comedian." Steve shot back.

"So, Steve, unless you want to join us for a threesome, you might want to go now. We'll talk to you in a few…hours. Feel free to leave food and water outside the door." Bucky said backing Wanda up to the bed.

Steve groaned. "Damnit you two…"

"Sweetheart, you know I love you, but no. We've got a lot to do before tonight, and I need you and Steve both to help. Maybe even Natasha and Sam. I did not spend all this time working on your mind only to postpone longer once I find what I'm looking for." She kissed Bucky quickly. "You get sex when you're the only one in that mind of yours."

"What do I get?" Steve smirked.

"A pat on the back? Some ice cream? Joining us in that threesome, after all?" Wanda replied with a shrug. "Just get back to me on what you choose."

"Choose carefully, Rogers," Bucky warned as Wanda left them alone to walk to the stables.

"Are you okay?" Steve asked.

"Sure. She didn't really hurt me. Hurt my pride a bit to being tied up and smacked around by my girlfriend," Bucky said, shaking his head. "But Steve, I couldn't get out of those binds. And if I can't, he can't either."

"No, I mean, are you okay about going on with this? Letting her try again so soon."

Bucky opened the door and Steve followed him into the hall. "As long as you're there and I'm restrained, then I'm okay. But if it looks like its going to go bad, you have to promise me to protect her over me. I mean it Steve."

"I know. And I will. But hopefully that won't happen again," Steve answered.
