Chapter 3

Satoru woke up in his room noticing he fell asleep on the recliner . He looked around and took a breath noticing it was midnight . He opened the window in his room " after saving Rika from the falling sign " she kept staring at me . He rubbed the top of his head and noticed his books and supplies were on his desk . He quickly packed his backpack . He then headed to the bathroom and brushed his teeth before going to bed . He woke up the next morning and bumped into Mion on his way to school as he followed the map Rika drew him to find the school .

Mion took the map and chuckled " hi satoru " she said as he smiled . She noticed he nodded and looked at Rena and Keiichi . She walked ahead as Rena hugged satrou saying he was so cute . She chuckled as Satrou broke free of her grasp . She noticed Satrou hid behind her . She ruffled his hair as they reached the school and a waste basket fell on satoru head . She noticed Satoko laughing . She noticed Satrou look up and removed the waste basket . She saw he looked up and laughed and walked inside .

Rika patted Satrou head and smiled as Satoko apologized . She looked to Mion and Keiichi and noticed Rena seemed nervous . She took her seat and at lunch Rena did not feel well and went to the nurses office . She noticed Something strange happened as Satrou pretend not to feel well and went with Rena . She had a question look on her face and noticed Satoko left the room . She finished her rice and shrimp .

Satrou pretended to be asleep and noticed Satoko injected something into Rena . He noticed Revival did not happen this time . He thought to himself " so something is going on with Satoko " he then got out of bed and checked the trash and found a needle . He took some paper towel and grabbed the evidence . He placed it in his bag and headed back to class . He focused on class and after school tapped Rika on the shoulder " where is the local health clinic or hospital " he asked .

Rika gave Satoru a look and sighed " sure I'll show you where it is " She said leaving with Satoru . She noticed they reached the Irie clinic quickly . She noticed the blonde female doctor walked over and looked at Satoru . She took a breath " this is Satoru and Satoru this is takano miyo a nurse at the Irie clinic " She said seeing Satoru open his bag . She noticed the needle .

Satoru took a breath and shook Takano hand . He took the paper towel with the needle in . " I found this in the trash in our schools nurses room can you tell me what it is " he asked noticing the nurse took his hand . He noticed the power of revival activated . He closed his bag " it's nice to meet you Takano and Rika see you at school tomorrow " he said . He found himself stopping at the game shop as he bumped into his mom Sachiko .

Rika walked home and saw Satoko was cooking dinner . She placed her bag down and placed her hand on her chin . " it happened again it was different then what happens when my revival by death occurs and I can't remember what happened " She thought to herself . She noticed Satoko snap her fingers in front of her face . " oh sorry I was lost in thought let's eat dinner " she said taking a seat .

Satoko ate some of the salmon and looked at Rika . " that new boy Satoru hmm he is an unknown factor but the same rules should apply " She thought . She finished her meal and went to bed early . She then noticed the day before the festival Rika somehow triggered Rena hinamizawa syndrome . She noticed Rena was choking Rika out and was shocked as it was not happening and saw Satoru talking with Rena and Rika . " what just happened " She thought . She returned home after school and prepared for the festival and helped Rika change into her shrine maiden outfit .

Satoru was preparing for the festival and put on a male yukata . He took a breath and thought back . " so I stopped Rena from killing Rika but I should keep an eye out if she snaps again but my power should activate " he thought as his mom told him Mion and Keiichi are waiting along Rena . He washed his face quickly . " I am coming " he said heading for the door .

Mion noticed Satoru was the only one in a yukata . " interesting Satoru anyway let's have fun at watanagashi festival " She said noticing Rena thought he was so cute . She noticed Satrou did the best at the games . " you really killed at this game " She said as he nodded . She noticed Rena was silent as Keiichi patted his back . She noticed Satoko was impressed as Rika patted his head .

Satoko was shocked as Rena snapped all of a sudden and slashed Rika in two followed by Keiichi , and noticed Satoru somehow dodged her strikes and saved mion and got away as she was killed . She sighed looking at Eua . " What's so funny " She asked looking over the past timeline . She noticed Eua Staring At Satoru . " What something special about him " She asked .

Eua nodded " it's simply Satoko he has a different type of revival unlike yours and Rika he does not have to die " She said as Satoko took a step back and had a curious smirk on her face . " I can show you his life if you want to know more about his power " she said . She noticed Satoko nodded no . " I see you want to test his power just to let you know he is a 29 year old who's power brought him back to being a kid to save his mom and friends and this is new territory for him " She said as Satoko nodded as the timeline started once more . She looked to Satoru and Rika . " interesting " She thought as a smirk appeared on her face .
