"You want to go eat?"
"Hmm... Sure I can go for breakfast right now." Ga Eul responded with a smile. Yi Jung led her to a cafe.
Soon as they walked in, a young lady walked up to them, "I am sorry sir, but we are booked for right now..." Yi Jung continued to smile; he looked back, "Ga Eul wait here, I will be back."
With that said, Yi Jung turns around facing the lady in front of him, "can I speak with you inside?" The lady couldn't help, but nod and lead Yi Jung inside near the front desk. 10 minutes had passed, Ga Eul waited, she watched as Yi Jung continued to smile and talk to the receptionist. He walks back to her with the same smile on his face.
"Let's go in."
"Wait isn't it full?"
"They made an exception for us." Ga Eul didn't question anymore and followed Yi Jung to their table.
"So what would you like-" Yi Jung didn't get to finish his sentence, as he was cut off by the sound of his phone ringing. He grabs it out of his pocket and seeing the caller ID, excuses himself and heads out to answer it. Ga Eul was forced to wait again. Her body was then enclosed by a shadow of a man, she looks up, as the man opens his mouth, "you are a very pretty lady who shouldn't be here alone..."
"Yah, what is it with girls and forgetting things?" Jun Pyo complained to Jan Di, she ignored his comment and entered her room, grabbing her camera; she steps out back to where the group stood.
"You sure you got everything now?" Ji Hoo questioned and Jan Di nodded. Woo Bin and Ji Hoo smile as they are about to lead the way, Jan Di looks up to Jun Pyo with a grin, and Jun Pyo can't help but smile back. Even without any reasons, Jan Di and Jun Pyo were able to smile and enjoy their time together, but just as the group was about to walk away from the cabin, they heard laughing, which stopped their steps. They look back only to find Jae Rim and Eun Jae, laughing as they walked out of Eun Jae's room. The two look up to the group with shock, "oh you guys are still here?"
"No we just came back, I had to get my camera. Eun Jae unnie, what are you doing here? Why do you have that suitcase with you?"
"Ah...I think Yi Jung didn't tell you guys. I am going back to Seoul."
"Why?" Ji Hoo questioned in.
"Well...The museum is going to have special visitors from Sweden tomorrow morning and it is important, one of the administratives are there, I called Yi Jung, but he refused, so I have no choice but to go." Eun Jae responded with a grin as if nothing was wrong.
"Yi Jung refused?" Jun Pyo narrowed his brows as he questioned.
"Yah, he said he was enjoying his time here and wanted to stay. So I have to go…"
Woo Bin ignored everything and turn to look at Jae Rim, "What are you doing here? You were suppose to leave with us…" Woo Bin glared up to Jae Rim who stood smiling.
"Well I met Eun Jae at the cafe, this morning and it turns out to be that, Eun Jae and I have a a lot in common. So we were busy talking and were walking around when you guys were here. Then since you guys had left, I thought I should help Eun Jae and take her to the airport." Woo Bin gritted his teeth behind his closed lips as he squinted his eyes, unable to buy the story he was being told.
"Unnie arrive safely, but it won't be fun without you…" Eun Jae hugged Jan Di and smiled at her.
"It is okay we can always get together, next time. This is really important; I can't let Yi Jung down. Alright, Jae Rim-shi let's go." Jae Rim nodded and led the way as Eun Jae followed. Eun Jae looked back and waved at the group left behind and they waved back. Woo Bin walked up to Ji Hoo, and whispered; "we need to keep an eye on that Jae Rim guy."
"Why? He seems fine-"
"I don't know, he seems to be up to something. I will keep an eye on Eun Jae and you keep your eye on Jae Rim, okay?" Ji Hoo was cut off by Woo Bin's words. Ji Hoo looked out to the two walking away; thought of something for a quick second and then looked upto Woo Bin, "deal" with that they shook hands and grinned.
Jun Pyo stood quiet, then with a quick thought on mind, he smiled to himself.
Yi Jung hanged up and with a smile returned to where he left Ga Eul, soon as he arrived at the table, he saw she was missing. Yi Jung thinks to himself, maybe she went to the bathroom, but soon as he reached his table, he witnessed a shinning object lying on the floor near Ga Eul's chair. Picking it up, instantly he becomes worried, because if he has learned anything about Ga Eul, it was that she would never leave on her own purpose without the object in his hand. He realized something must have happened to her. He begins to ask around if any of them had seen Ga Eul, then one of the people from the group sitting in the cafe pointed into a direction, and Yi Jung sprinted that way.
He sees a glimpse of Ga Eul as she is being pushed into a black SUV, Yi Jung angrily walks up to the car, Ga Eul attempts to get her arm free from the man's grip, but failed to. Ga Eul looked up to see Yi Jung standing in front of her and the man, she looks at Yi Jung with helping eyes, hoping he was actually here for her.
"What is this?" Yi Jung asked with eyes full of anger, daggering the man, who held Ga Eul`s arm.
"Why do you care, this has nothing to do with you."
"Excuse me? Do you know who I am?" The group of men in black looked at each other and smiled, grinning upon hearing Yi Jung's words. "Why? Should we?"
"I am So Yi Jung, Heir of So Family and one of the owners of this Island." Yi Jung walked up to Ga Eul and got her arm out of the man's grip. He looks up to the man next to him, his eyes narrowed, "don't even start me by telling you I am a good friend of Gu Jun Pyo." The man`s eyes grew with fear, as he took a step back and involuntary bowed. "I am sorry sir, I didn't know."
Yi Jung let`s go of Ga Eul`s arm, and looks back at the man bowing as he crossed his arms in front of his chest and rolled his eyes with annoyance, "make sure this never happens again!"
The man stands back up and nods. Yi Jung put his arm around Ga Eul`s shoulder seeing her still shaking with fear. "By the way sir, why is this girl so special to you, I mean to guys like you especially." Yi Jung was about to walk away when words stopped his steps, before he could even respond, another man from the same group leaned in to his boss who had asked and whispered into his ear, "Yi Jung is known as a playboy, and this must be one of his new playmates."
Unfortunately the whisper was loud enough for both Ga Eul and Yi Jung to hear. Ga Eul tried to look away, but Yi Jung turned around and looked directly at the man in front of him, the entire group shivered with fear seeing his darting eyes of rage, he entangles his hand with Ga Eul`s which brings Ga Eul a lot of shock and still with his eyes stuck upon the man in front of him, Yi Jung utters words, that completely make Ga Eul lose her mind, "She is my wife! She is very special to me and you have to remember that! Never again should I see you ever try to hurt her or else!" Yi Jung with his hand entwined with Ga Eul`s, walks away.
After leaving the group and being out of their sight, Yi Jung couldn't help but laugh to himself, but his laugh was the least thing Ga Eul was concerned about at the moment.
'Did he really mean what he said back there? No! No Ga Eul don't fall for his tricks, he must be just playing around with you.' While lost in thought, soon as her eyes fall upon her hand, that Yi Jung still held, she snapped back to reality and instantly pulls away her hand. Yi Jung with shock looks her way.
"Everything okay?"
"Y-yah...I think we are out of their sight now, so we don't have to pretend anymore…"
"You are right, sorry about that."
The walk back had become too silent, that it became awkward, yet it didn`t bother Ga Eul as she went back to some thoughts. 'What was that feeling? While he held my hand, it felt nice, it felt warm, I didn't want to let go, what is this? Ga Eul stop being an idiot, it is probably nothing, your mind is probably unsettled because of what just happened, don't start going crazy!' Ga Eul nodded to herself as she agreed with herself for being stupid. She smiles to herself, and hits her head gently. But she wasn't the only one who was having stupid thoughts.
Yi Jung coughed feeling it had become too silent, "so you aren't hurt are you?"
"No. Thank you for getting me. Sorry I always cause trouble…" Yi Jung smiled upon hearing Ga Eul`s respond, with his hands in his pocket, he pushes Ga Eul softly with his arm, which cause her to move to the side slightly.
"Hey, didn't we just become friends? Aren't friends supposed to help? And I have heard no sorry or thank you in friendship, so you don't have to say anything, but just be more careful."
"What are you some friend expert?" Ga Eul said raising her eyebrows as she looked up to Yi Jung.
"Well you can say that? I am a really good friend when it comes to girls." Yi Jung smirked to himself and Ga Eul scoffed hearing his words. She then pushes Yi Jung a little, "Sure you are!"
Yi Jung smiled as he looked at Ga Eul from the distance she pushed him in, Ga Eul knew what was coming, she instantly sprinted as she saw Yi Jung coming her way. Both continue to run around the area they stood in, Ga Eul trying her best not to be caught and Yi Jung trying his best to catch her. Both acted as if they were at the age of 10, but neither cared, they seemed to enjoy themselves. Ga Eul started to run out of breathe, she hid behind a tall palm tree, as she peeked back, she saw no one. She turns around, her back resting upon the tree, closing her eyes to take a breathe of relief, when all too sudden Yi Jung jumped in front of her, "got you!" Ga Eul took a step back in sudden fear, she twist her feet, which caused her to trip and lose balance. But to her surprise she hadn't fallen upon the sand surface.
Slowly opening her eyes, she saw Yi Jung`s face only few inches away from hers. One hand supported her head while the other supported her back, mainly stopping her from falling. Her hands somehow had grabbed Yi Jung's collar with shock, which forced Yi Jung`s face to be even closer than it needed to be. Yi Jung and Ga Eul's eyes were interlocked as if they were telling a story to one another with their eyes. Time was passing while they were lost in the moment.
"Are you okay?" Yi Jung's words snapped Ga Eul back to reality.
"Uh-huh sorry..." With that Ga Eul quickly stood up and Yi Jung let her go. The moment had become much more awkward than either of them wanted it to be. They both stand up straight and straighten their clothes, acting as if nothing happened.
"Shall we?" Ga Eul nodded and followed Yi Jung back to the cafe. Their table was all set up and ready for them. Yi Jung let`s Ga Eul take her seat, being the gentleman he was, and then took his seat in front of her. The waiter came up to them, ready to take their orders. Yi Jung looks up to waiter with a grin.
"I would like a egg muffin with a small hot coffee; added cream and sugar." The waiter jotted down the order and then looked at Ga Eul.
"What would the fine lady like on this fine morning, even though I must say you look much more beautiful than this morning." The waiter winked at Ga Eul, and involuntarily, heat raised up to her cheeks as she shifted her eyes to the side and smiled. Yi Jung was in no way, to care of what was happening, but he believed as a friend he was required to.
"She will have the same thing please. Also make it fresh, without 'any' appetizers." Yi Jung`s eyes narrowed as he looked at the waiter. The waiter gulped nervously seeing the anger that filled Yi Jung`s face, "yes sir, I understand." With that, the waiter was gone in a flash.
Ga Eul cleared her throat,"….He seemed like a nice guy…" Ga Eul looked back up to Yi Jung, by the time they both made eye contact, Yi Jung instantly shifted his expressions to a much calmer one. Ga Eul was for a second taken aback with the beauty that lied within the man in front of her. The sun shining on his face, his dark brown orbs glazed and shined brighter than the sun. His hair so smooth and lastly his face features, aligned as if God made sure to make every inch of this man in front of her, his face perfect. Even without any touch she could tell Yi Jung had soft skin and his cheek for a man were actually very chubby, which made her want to pinch them. Unfortunately Yi Jung caught Ga Eul starring. He leans in, and rests his elbows on top of the table, and lays his chin on the palms of his hands. He can't help but smile to himself. His fingers tap around his chin,"am I that handsome?"
That was enough to snap Ga Eul back to reality, instantly she was aware of what happened and needed to clear her mind, "I-I-need to go to the bathroom…" Yi Jung only nodded, and pointed into the right direction, Ga Eul sprinted and was gone, Yi Jung was left smiling to himself. "This girl is really interesting…"
Ga Eul slowly headed out of the bathroom, and looked around, she was nervous to go back, but made an exception, now or later she was going to have to face him. She felt so stupid for letting Yi Jung catch her so easily for staring at him. Taking a deep inhale and a relaxed exhale, Ga Eul made her way back to her table, where she found Yi Jung leaning against the railing of the cafe and speaking on the phone. His back was facing her, she didn't want to bother him, so she decides to stand behind him and wait. The food had arrived, but still even though she had just embarrassed herself and she knew for sure she had no feelings for him, but as a friend, she could at least wait for Yi Jung so they could eat together, honestly Ga Eul hated eating alone, so she decided to wait.
"Yah, I know. Getting Ga Eul hurt and making sure I didn't have to spend the rest of the day with her, was actually a good idea."
Ga Eul expressions lowered, her lips formed a straight line and her eyebrows knitted as she listened for more.
"That was how I actually tolerated her half the time, waiting for her to get hurt-" The rest of Yi Jung's words were a blur to Ga Eul`s ears. She took a step back, and before anything else, ran off to the opposite direction from where Yi Jung stood.
