RING! RING! RING!

It was the end of the day for Dipper and his high school peers. The final bell had just rung and teenagers from every walk of life poured out of the school. He ignored everyone and everything as he made his way to the parking lot, it was time to set his plan in motion.

Days had passed since Dipper had the crazy idea of kissing Pacifica. In the time that had passed, things became frigid between them, or more accurately Pacifica had given him perhaps the coldest shoulder in the history of mankind. Who would've thought that the product of the rich elite was capable of that?

Dipper, however, had a feeling that all of that would change today because today, he had a plan. It wasn't his best plan of course, and it was far from original. His plan was to sit on her car and wait. Simple, but effective he decided, and so he just needed to get past the questioning looks he received from his peers in the parking lot. He smiled to himself and waited until the crowd died down, he knew Pacifica had a meeting after school, she almost always did. Their school was named Nathaniel Northwest High, and so Pacifica saw to it, with a heavy influence from her parents, that she be the most involved student there.

Dipper saw Pacifica approaching.

She took one look at Dipper sitting on her car and turned to walk in the other direction.

"Hey wait! Pacifica." He called out.

"Yes Dipper." She turned slightly to him, only enough for him to see that she was still upset. "Is there anything in particular that you need? And if so, is it possible that someone else can help you?" Pacifica's tone of voice was so cold it dropped the temperature around them.

"Uh. No, not really. I just wanted to talk." He responded, almost bashfully.

"You can talk to anyone else. Even the chess playing ape your uncle has on display can help." She took a step to her car. Dipper decided he had to take a bolder course of action. He grabbed her wrist, pulling her slightly so that she would turn to face him.

"I really wanted to talk to you. So how was your date?" He asked, rolling back on the balls of his feet with his hands in his pockets. His casual demeanor fell flat at the feet of Pacifica.

"I should punch you, you know that right?" She demanded.

"Well, it couldn't have been that bad." Under normal circumstances Pacifica found Dipper's sarcastic humor charming, but right now it only made her want to kill him.

"You kissed me!" She hollered. Dipper wanted to take a step back, maybe even hide under the covers. Instead he stood his ground, Pacifica may have been a terrifying sight when she was mad, but he felt like he couldn't back down.

"Relax," Pacifica's gaze was becoming murderous, he needed to take a different course of action. "I was only trying to help, you said you were nervous-"

"That was not an invitation Dipper!" Pacifica refused to buy into Dipper's reasoning.

"It's not that, I only wanted to help. I was looking out for a friend."

"Friends don't kiss!"

"Okay, but did you really want to waste your first kiss on some random guy."

"He's not some random guy! And even if he was-" She had to control herself, in her anger all she could see was red. "You don't get to make that decision for me. I'm a big girl, I can kiss whoever I want.".

"Alright, fine. Go ahead and kiss every guy in town. But it won't matter because you know what? I was first!" Dipper gloated. Why was he gloating? Was he proud of the fact that he had kissed her? Did he enjoy the idea of sharing something with Pacifica that no one else could have?

"Oh I will, I'll kiss every guy in town. But who first, Gideon or Robbie? Actually why choose? I could have both. I could have anyone in all of Gravity falls to make out with. But don't you dare for one second think that I will ever want to kiss you again!" She opened the car door. Dipper knew his ship was sinking fast. He placed his hand on her door. Not to stop her, just to buy him enough time.

"Slap me." He said sternly, interrupting the stiff air around them.

"What?"

"Slap me. I took something from you, something you can't get back. So… I've never been slapped before. I took your first kiss, you can have my first slap." Pacifica was taken back by his offer. "I know you want to." He teased her.

She had to admit, poised and refined as she had been trained all her life to be, she did want to indulge in the most childish action right now.

It took a few minutes for the idea to fully marinate.

"Okay." She had a confident look about her. Dipper didn't notice it, he was busy trying to prepare himself for her attack.

"Alight, just go easy on me, these cheeks are virgins." He bent over slightly, given that he was much taller than her, she would have to reach.

"Oh, no not now." She smiled brightly with a hint of mischievousness in her eyes as she pushed him away. "No, Dipper, I've decided that because you didn't tell me when you were going to kiss me, I'm not going to tell you when I'm going to slap you. It's almost a fair trade that way." She stepped into the car, enjoying selfishly the look of fear that Dipper had. "Just make sure you keep those virgin cheeks ready for me." She winked, started her car and drove off.

Dipper took a deep breath. On one hand, it was nice to have Pacifica talking to him again, while on the other hand, he would have to live the rest of his life in fear of an imminent and very painful slap.

"Still worth it."
