A tall man in his 40s approached the couple who were still confused with the situation as they sat on the blanket and looked out to the ocean. He placed a tray with two plates of pancakes with syrup already dripping off the edge of the stack, and two glasses filled halfway with orange juice in the middle of Yi Jung and Ga Eul.
The man took one plate and a glass and placed it in front of Yi Jung, "here you are Mr. Yi Jung sir." Then he shifted his view towards Ga Eul and handed her plate and glass, "and ma'am here is you breakfast." As he finished he handed each a fork and spoon, followed by a napkin, placing it on their laps. Leaving the tray by their side, the man stands up with a smile, before walking away his lips part again, "it is really nice to see you again Mr. Yi Jung, and Mrs. Ga Eul, you it was really nice to be able to meet you too. Finally little Yi Jung was able to find the right girl for him. Ah, before I leave, master Ji Hoo asked me to let you know, once you are done with your food you will find your clue about finding the key. Have a nice meal." With that the man started to walk away.
Ga Eul looked at Yi Jung as he was preparing to eat, shaking her head she looks in the direction the man had descended towards, "e``xcuse me! Can you please help us out? This is all a game, please come back!" But the man was too far to hear her voice, "come on this is no time to eat, let's follow him and kindly make him just give us the key!"
"No use." Yi Jung said as he took the first bite of his pancakes.
Ga Eul's eyes narrowed, "well if you plan on sitting here and eating then there really is no faster way huh?"
"No matter what we do, he won't help us. He is Ji Hoo's most loyal servant, though Ji Hoo thinks of him as his caretaker, he raised Ji Hoo, and he knows all of us since we were little, there is no way he will ever go against Ji Hoo and do something he was not told to do." Yi Jung finished as he took another bite of his pancake.
Ga Eul stumbled back in her spot and attempted to eat her breakfast, but eating with her left hand was becoming a failure, Yi Jung looked at her reaction and couldn't help but chuckle, Ga Eul looked up to him and squinted her eyes, "yah! Stop laughing it is easier for you to eat because your right hand is free, my right hand is handcuffed to your left, so don't cross the line and laugh at me." Ga Eul attempted to eat again, but soon as the fork was near her mouth, the piece of pancake fell on plate. Ga Eul threw her fork and looked away.
"This isn't going to be a lover's date, is it? Where I have to feed you?" Yi Jung questioned as he raised an eyebrow and carried a soft smirk on his lips. Ga Eul looks back at Yi Jung, "y-"
"Because, honestly I don't mind, I have lots of experience with this." Before Ga Eul could respond Yi Jung cut her off stating that he had fed many girls before so it wouldn't be too much of a problem for him. Ga Eul felt a hinge of pain from his words, but keeping control she looked away, "I rather die than be fed by your filthy hands."
"Woah. Careful with what you say, you have no idea how great these hands are, if you are fed with this" Yi Jung put his fork down and lifted his hand, "trust me it would be a magical experience."
"Maybe for your girls, not me." Ga Eul shifted her body and viewed the ocean.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The ocean waves almost silenced the sound of Ga Eul's empty stomach, yet a pair of ears still gave the silent grumble notice. Yi Jung took a deep sigh as he placed the tray closer to Ga Eul and grabbed a piece of pancakes on her fork and outstretched it towards her mouth.
"Hey, here eat this." Ga Eul looked at Yi Jung, and with narrowed eyes looks away again.
"I told you I am not one of your girls."
"Listen we both have to finish our breakfast to be able to get a clue, so let us just get over with this soon as we can. Alright?" Ga Eul parts her lips to protest, but retreats her tongue and agrees. Turn by turn Yi Jung would first take a bite of his pancakes and then fed Ga Eul hers. Soon their plates and glasses were empty; each grab a napkin and wipe their mouths clean. Yi Jung being the first finished, looks up to Ga Eul to find a drop of syrup accompanying the corner of Ga Eul's mouth.
"Ummm...You got some syrup there." Yi Jung tried to explain as he pointed to to the place on his face, Ga Eul was able to find the spot, but wiping it with a dry napkin did her no good, before Ga Eul could even think about protesting, Yi Jung quickly gives his thumb a soft lick and and places it near Ga Eul's lips, the corner where the syrup determined to stay. Wafting away the syrup, Yi Jung moves back satisfied, only to find a shocked Ga Eul looking his way.
"Ahh. Good you two are done in time." The same man came near them as he picked up their plates and glasses and placed them upon another tray that he had tagged along.
"What about the clue?" Yi Jung questioned, as the man was still in their view. The man slowly brings himself up on his feet and a smile makes it to his lips, "flip over the tray." Before any other questions could be asked, the man walks away.
Yi Jung flips over the tray to find a note taped underneath it. Yi Jung shook his head in disappointment, if only he had flipped over the tray in the beginning, things could be avoided. Yet what is done is done, Yi Jung slowly unfolds the note as Ga Eul watched.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I love chocolates
And so do you.
Yi Jung reads the 'clue' over and over to find a hidden hint, yet there was none, frustrated, Yi Jung crumbles the paper and toss it a far.
"What? The clue was under the tray! Couldn't you tell us this before?" Jun Pyo yelled on top of his lungs causing the aged women to pull on her ear a few to times to regain her ability to hear. Without another word could be said, the women picked up the tray and walked away, ignoring every curse word Jun Pyo was yelling out loud.
"What is your problem? Can you calm down?" Jan Di spoke with anger soon as Jun Pyo stumped down next to her.
"She could have told us where to find the clue before. We could have been off this place by now." Jun Pyo shifted his view, causing Jan Di's brows to narrow.
"So you didn't enjoy breakfast?"
"Well I like to eat but it's so difficult to do when my right hand is handcuffed to your left one."
"So you didn't like me feeding you?" Jan Di raised a brow, her words caused Jun Pyo to snap his head towards her carrying a 'I didn't mean that' face Jan Di ignored his plea, and looked away.
"Come on Jan Di, you kno-" Jun Pyo was cut off as Jan Di placed a small peck on Jun Pyo's cheek.
"I know you didn't mean it. Trust me I want to be out of these cuffs too, because I want to hold your hand, not be chained with it." Jan Di smiled at the curly haired figure in front of her who was blushing crazy as if he received the best thing in the entire world. Shifting his head upon the piece of paper in his hand, Jun Pyo tries to hide his embarrassment as he reads the clue out loud.
Day in and day out, we fight as if we were enemies,
Yet when we work together, we make a hell of a good team.
Jun Pyo looks up to Jan Di if she had any hint towards what the clue was saying, but the shrug of her shoulders, caused Jun Pyo's shoulders to fall down.
Woo Bin gave a good look at the plate of pancakes and the tray that was underneath them. Tilting his head to the side, Woo Bin thinks back to the words he heard earlier, 'you will get your clue once you finish your breakfast.' Woo Bin picked up the plates of pancake and sat them on the side. Taking the tray in his hands Woo Bin flips it over revealing a piece of paper taped under the tray. Shaking his head, Woo Bin instantly unfolds the paper and reads it to himself, hearing nothing from Woo Bin Jae Kyung grabbed the paper and read it out loud,
A seed is planted and placed beneath an area so strange,
The seed begins to grow bold and sprout out of it's cage.
Even with the fresh air it inhales, one pick and it's gone forever,
To protect this delicate one, thorn surround it to prevent it from being picked by whomever.
Growing tall, and sprouting petals to complement its beauty,
The flower and thorns stick together like milk and sugar in a cup of tea.
Jae Kyung reads the clue over and over, when nothing clicks, she looks up to Woo Bin who was lost in thought.
"Do you know what this means?" Jae Kyung questioned.
'I need to get off this island with Jae Kyung now.' Woo Bin mumbled. Jae Kyung snapped her fingers in front of Woo Bin's face, causing all his attention to fall on her.
"What did you sa-" Woo Bin stood up causing Jae Kyung to be forced up too.
"We need to go. I have a hint how to get off this island. Just follow me, no questions please." Jae Kyung slowly nodded, and Woo Bin continued to lead the way.
