Wow it's been so long and I am truly sorry for making everyone wait this long, I never intended to have delays in updating but I have been busy with school and work. But enough about me, my love for SoEulmates never stopped. They inspire me even today, I have so many fanmade mv ideas from Kim Bum's new drama already [P.S. He owned his role in Tale of Nine-Tailed! So proud of him!] I have so many one-shots planned as well but before I get to any of those I will start updating more frequently. Let's say once a year? Haha no just joking, I plan to update every week. I will be updating all stories I have but this one will be a priority! Thank you all for showing this story so much love to this day! Ji Hoo shook his head and the next second shifted his view towards Jun Pyo "You couldn't man up to your mother for Jan Di, I suppose?" Jun Pyo opened his mouth but no words came out and he avoided Ji Hoo's gaze.
"You guys are unbelievable, I am here trying to-"
"Yi Jung!" Before Ji Hoo could finish his sentence, there was a loud scream coming from afar.
"Eun Jae.." Yi Jung trailed off as he watched Eun Jae running towards him out of breath. Before anyone was able to question her, Eun Jae ran up to Yi Jung panting "Oppa.. Where… your… mother.."
"What happened to omma!" Yi Jung's eyes widened as his mother was mentioned so suddenly, Eun Jae sits on a chair that Jan Di placed behind her, "your mother has fallen into a coma." As the sentence reached Yi Jung's ears, his eyes widened to the point of popping out.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE IS IN A COMA! WHAT HAPPENED!?" Yi Jung screamed on top of his lungs, Ji Hoo walked up to Yi Jung placing a hand on his shoulder attempting to calm him but there was no use, Yi Jung's breath had spiked from fear.
"I have been trying to contact you since last night but I couldn't reach you so I came myself" as those words left Eun Jae's mouth Yi Jung snapped his head towards Ji Hoo who dropped his hand from Yi Jung's shoulder and mouthed a 'sorry' as he had taken everyone's phones and switched them off last night when they were fast asleep. Yi Jung grinds his teeth as he looks back at Eun Jae.
"I will explain everything but for now you need to get back to Seoul." Without a second thought, Yi Jung grabs Eun Jae's wrist and begins to walk the way she had come from but was stopped as Woo Bin placed a strong grip on his shoulder.
"Bro, take it easy, we are all going back. You are not going through this alone. Guys come on let's get our stuff. Jan Di and Jun Pyo go pack your backs quickly. Jae Kyung, get your stuff together and I will do the same. Yi Jung please stay here and try to calm yourself and Ga Eul can you-" Woo Bin stopped midway as he looked at Ga Eul, the rest followed to look in the same direction and witnessed her in tears.
"Ga Eul! What's wrong?" Jan Di approached her, "why does this always happen to me. Not omma, she has been so kind to me." Jan Di couldn't quite hear what Ga Eul said but in a way she understood, Jan Di rubbed her shoulder gently and nodded her head towards Jun Pyo giving him the signal. Sitting Ga Eul down on a chair, Jan Di follows Jun Pyo to their room, Ji Hoo and Jae Kyung do the same. Woo Bin looks towards Eun Jae and asks her to get Ga Eul's stuff while he got Yi Jung's. Ji Hoo stops midway to send a text as everyone else disappears into their rooms.
'I have to go to Seoul. Please take care of yourself. Let me know when you are back and we will finally be able to tell the rest about us. I love you." Hitting send, Ji Hoo heads for his room.
Soon after Yi Jung and Ga Eul are left alone, Yi Jung panicking from the news and Ga Eul in tears, but seeing him in this state gave Ga Eul some courage as she stood up next to him. "Yi Jung it's going to be okay. I'm worried too but you need to stay calm, your mother wouldn't be happy seeing you like this, you need to be strong for her." Ga Eul did her best to calm Yi Jung as she couldn't come to make herself strong and Yi Jung was her son so Ga Eul could only imagine what he must be going through. Taking a deep breath Ga Eul begins to retreat to the chair but Yi Jung grabs her wrist and pulls her into a hug.
"Please tell me it's a lie. Tell me she is okay. I've almost lost her too many times. I can't live without her." Yi Jung rested his chin on her shoulder as tears ran down his cheeks, Ga Eul places a shaky hand on his back "It's going to be okay Yi Jung, she will be okay"
"Jun Pyo come on already!" Woo Bin's scream from afar brought them both back to reality as they parted from the hug and stood next to each other, Yi Jung wipes away his tears and whispers a 'thank you' to which Ga Eul smiles in response.
Having a private jet has its perks, they seemed to get back to Seoul faster than they could say their own names, at least this is how it felt like to Yi Jung but thankfully they made it back. Not bothering to grab anything, Yi Jung runs off the plane as it lands and hails a taxi, immediately hopping in.
"He knows we have our private limo here right? I think someone should go with him to make sure he is okay on the way. We will follow. Ga-"
"I'll go" before Ji Hoo could finish his sentence Eun Jae responded and was running towards the taxi, sitting next to Yi Jung she closes the door and the taxi drives off before anything else can be said. "Ga Eul came with us then." Ji Hoo leads the way to the private limo and everyone settles in and are off to their destination.
"OMMA! OMMA!" Yi Jung continuously yells as he enters the house till his butler comes into view "sir, this way" Yi Jung runs towards the hallway he was directed to and enters his mother's room. She laid motionless on her bed, Yi Jung walked closer to the bedside and fell on his knees. Tears rushed down his cheeks as he held her left hand in his and brought it to his face. "Omma what happened to you?"
"Your mother was like this when I got home." Yi Jung looks up to see his father walk towards the opposite side of the bed placing a tray with a jug of water on the side table. Seeing his father in front of him made him even more furious.
"What are you doing here!"
"Yi Jung. Calm down, I didn't do anything. I have come to terms of my wrongs." Mr. So sits beside his wife on the bed and creases her forehead. "I almost lost her once, I can't let it happen again. She gave up everything for me, now it's my turn to be there for her."
Yi Jung didn't believe his father but for the time being, he let it slide. "How did this even happen?" Yi Jung questioned again.
"She wasn't feeling well, so we called in a doctor and after his visit, she was like this and he told us she had fallen into a coma." The butler had walked into the room and stood near Yi Jung as he explained everything.
Yi Jung stood up in anger in front of his butler "WHO IS THIS DOCTOR? SHE WAS FINE BEFORE SHE SAW HIM. WHAT DID HE DO"
"Sir I don't know who this doctor was, I didn't even see him well, but his name was Dr…. Dr. J. Rim."
"Jae Rim Oppa…" both Yi Jung and his father looked in the direction where the voice emerged, Ga Eul stood in place with fear replaying what she just heard. 'No. This couldn't be. Jae Rim Oppa would never.'
