As the eldest son of the chieftain he was tasked with protecting the village & his younger siblings Sokka & Katara. After their mother's death too much changed. To keep his remaining family safe he had to close off his heart and train relentlessly. The Avatar wasn't coming back. Or at least, that's what Ayaan thought, until a bald kid with blue arrows showed up.

38. Notice: Family Emergency HIATUS

Hi guys, I have horrible news. See, I most likely will not be posting anything for my stories for at least the next month. The reason is my family's health, mainly, my grandfather's.

For the past six months or so, his health had been declining. It started with simple back pain, but then progressively got worse and spread to other parts of his body. He couldn't rest, couldn't eat, and now he's in the hospital. My parents say the doctors believe it's cancer that's spread. I literally watched him go from being a hefty guy to a thin twig. It hurts, a lot.

Luckily, he seems to be getting a bit better since being in the hospital, but nothing is certain yet. Until everything is relatively back to normal (which I hope it does go back to normal) I will not be posting anything. Yes, I will be writing, but posting will be a no.

Hopefully, this horrible situation won't last, and I will see you all again.
