Oblivion in Waiting

Where do you go,

When you have no heart,

Have no shell,

Your soul torn apart?

Is it possible to die,

If you don't truly exist?

Do you just fade back,

Into nothingness?

Living in darkness,

Isn't really that easy.

It's not a day on the beach,

With winds nice and breezy.

It's cold and clouded.

Evil and depressing.

Memories are taken away,

With no chance for reminiscing.

No feeling there,

To make you cry.

Just a hollow in your chest,

Laid out to die.

Searching for something.

Searching so desperately.

If we can't find it...

What a tragedy.

We are taken out

One by one.

The effects are permanent,

Never to be undone.

As the last one stands,

All hope is gone.

But there never was hope,

Like a moon at dawn.

The final fight,

And the final fall.

We are no more than a memory,

Like a wolfs lone call.

It is over now.

Souls never to be found.
