What's this? Another update?! Yeah, here it is, followed by another chapter as well. That' right, two chapters faithful readers. I've been traveling a lot recently with not much else to do than write some horribly fluffy chapters. Forgive any spelling and grammar errors in this and the next chapter. I didn't sit down and edit them as thoroughly as I normally do, just wanted to get them out. I'll be sure to fix them later. Part 1 of 2 of the amazing two chapter update! More to follow soon!

I'm Dreaming of an Ed Christmas

"Wow Double Dee..." Kevin whistled a bit, staring at the guy he had known a large portion of his life. Surprised? Yeah, he was surprised. Impressed? Sure, a little of that too. Embarrassed?... Well... Maybe a bit. Before him stood Double Dee in the cutest and yet funniest outfit for their little outing to find decorations for the Christmas party Kevin wanted to throw.

"What? I thought it was cute..." Pouted the teen as he looked himself over as best he could. Upon his slim body was what one might call a toned down 'sexy-santa' outfit for girls. A thinly insulated red dress with white faux-fur trim and long, slightly flared sleeves hugged his body just right; a thick black belt hanging around his hips for an extra santa-like accent. His favorite black boots carried him a bit closer to his friend, his matching, red mitten covered hands tugged a long, very santa-y cap onto his black tresses. "You don't like it?"

Seeing the look of overly cutesy pleading in the eyes staring up at him, all big and watery, Kevin let out a sigh. "You look beautiful dork, very cute." Reaching up, he adjusted Edd's cap a little. "I just forgot how much you get into the season is all."

Turning, the two made their way to Kevin's car, leaving the doorway. "What's not to like about it Kevin? It's the one season of the year that promotes peace and love amongst all people? It encourages forgiveness and kindness, to give to others with no expectations of being given something back." They reached the sleek red sport car sitting next to the sidewalk, Double Dee pausing to look at the teen driving. "It brings together families, friends and loved ones like nothing else can. It's the most magical time in the entire year."

Sighing, Kevin shook his head. "Alright dork, love and peace and whatever." Leaning down, he opened the door for his friend and motioned inside.

"Oh, thank you Kevin." Smiling in appreciation, Edd slipped into the familiar passenger seat, drawing his white stocking covered legs in with him. Once his friend was inside, he looked to Kevin with a curious look. "I never pictured you as much of a Scrooge, you always seemed relatively appreciative of the holiday."

Starting up the car, Kevin smirked. "Appreciate it yeah. I don't think anyone can match you in enthusiasm though."

Edd laughed softly and shrugged. "If that is a flaw of mine, I believe I can handle it." The two smiled to each other before falling into a comfortable lapse of silence. Edd had tuned the radio into the Christmas channel, visibly brightening as an old, scratchy carol began to play over the impressive sound system. Unbeknownst to him, the driver shot glances to him every now and then, enjoying watching the joy in the feminine features. He could hear Edd quietly humming along with the song, occasionally singing a few lines here and there.

"So dork..." Began Kevin, his hand drifting over to finger a bit of the red material. "With an outfit like this..."

"Yes?"

A devious grin appeared on the scruffy face. "What kinda panties do you wear with it?"

"C-Come again?! A-Are you requesting to know wh-what my choice in u-underwear is?" Pale hands gripped the skirt, pressing it into his lap a bit.

"Well... Yeah?" Ventured the redhead.

Silence began to fill the car again, Kevin awaiting a response while Edd looked to the gently falling snow outside. Blue eyes glanced by covertly a moment, one of his long, stocking covered legs crossing the other, exposing a bit of milky upper thigh. "Perhaps you'll just have to... unwrap me... and find out." Suggested the long haired boy in a rather convincing nonchalant manner.

Poor Kevin's attention went from the boy, to the road, and back quickly over and over as his mind attempted to actually believe that those words just came out of Edd's mouth. A delicate finger slowly reached over to the driver side, its tip pushing up on the scruffy chin ever so lightly, assisting it in closing.

"I-Is that a challenge, dork?" He puffed up a little. Edd stayed silent, bobbing his dangling foot to the music. "Hey, I asked if that was a challenge." Perhaps being naughty so close to Christmas wasn't the best idea, but Double Dee's little scrooge was just so tempting to tease, especially with so many joke presenting themselves.

"Only naughty boys unwrap their toys before Christmas, Kevin." Edd reprimanded lightly, sparing him a glance.

"A-... But-..." Kevin floundered with his words, doing his best to figure out some kind of retort.

Turning in his seat slowly, teasingly, maybe even sensually, if such things were possible to be accomplished while simply turning in a chair, Edd leaned towards the driver. "Perhaps, if you're a good boy... You can have a little peek under the wrapping..." He whispered, one of his hands brushing over Kevin's on the shift knob.

Gulping heavily, the redhead looked to the side, doing his best to avoid the suggestive glint in the bespectacled eyes. He wasn't sure he was able to face that look he knew he was getting. "What's up with you all of a sudden, dork?" A shaky laugh escaped his lips. "Talkin' about peace an' love and stuff then next thing y'know, you're acting like I'm gonna find you underneath my tr..." Even as he spoke, the image was being made, completely blocking the flow of speech. A little wrapped up Edd, lying under his tree, all for him to play with. A few moments passed, Kevin's mouth opening and closing a few times during it. "You..."

"Me?" Assited the smaller teen.

"You're panties... are like..." His gaze turned and looked to the skirt momentarily. In just that brief moment of eye contact with the skirt, Kevin nearly ran off the road as the sight of a pair of tiny, white lace panties with red ribbon interwoven in intersecting lines that formed a bow were presented to him. "A-A little p-package..." He mumbled absently, looking back to the road.

"Little?!" Edd huffed and crossed his arms, over-dramatically offended. With his face hidden from Kevin's view, he smirked a little. He was feeling a little silly today... And he was going to have as much fun with it as he could.

"W-... No! I-I meant a little present! Y-Y'know... C-Cause it's wrapped a-and stuff!"

"Little..." Grumbled the bookworm in faux anger. He let out a giggle as the hand reached over, tugging his hat down over her face. "You're so much fun to play with Kevin."

"And you're horrible to be around when you get in these moods, apparently." Grumbled the redhead, doing his best to devote all his focus on driving to the mall. All distractions from his little pest in the passenger seat were going to be ignored from now on. Yes. Definitely.

"I promise not to break you," He giggled in a strange little purr. "Not before I've had my fill."

"You are not allowed to speak anymore." Growled the redhead, much to the enjoyment of Double Dee.

The rest of the ride was spent mostly in a comfortable silence, Edd felt he had bothered his friend enough while in the car for the time being. He had to conserve his ammunition for the actual mall. He watched the number of buildings increase and the traffic grow more dense as they neared the destination closer to the nearby city. For Edd, a creature of the suburbs, the tightly packed, one-way streets, crazy pedestrians, and horrible drivers were overwhelming. He was certainly glad Kevin was the one driving.

He was even more glad when they finally reached the mall. He wasn't sure his heart was willing to take many more of those crazy forays into rushing traffic at breakneck speeds. As expected, the parking was a mess what with the throngs of parents dashing around to buy their children presents which meant a small hike to reach the doors, but neither young men seemed to mind. Kevin entertained himself with pointing out the more ridiculous looking adults to Edd who offered a slat swat along with a giggle of reprimand. Admittedly though, the ones singled out were being a little ludicrous.

"Alright dork, what's first?" Asked Kevin, casually thrusting his hands into his denim pockets. As if it was a commonly known thing, Double Dee gave the redhead a faintly shocked look, Kevin returned it with a raised eyebrow. "If I knew, would I have brought you along?"

Gasping lightly, Edd touched his chest in little, feigning shock. "You're simply using me? Why Kevin..."

"Dork..." A light warning tone came out, causing Double Dee to latch onto Kevin's arm.

"I'm sorry Kevin, I'll behave. I honestly don't know what has come over me today."

"If it's that whole holiday spirit thing, we can just forget Christmas this year." Grumbled the football player with a casual roll of his eyes.

Before the two knew it, a whirlwind of shopping washed over the both of them. From shop to shop, Kevin followed his eager friend, watching him point excitedly and absolutely gush over 'such wonderful designs' and 'brilliant use of color'. Trees were almost a whole hour alone, followed by decorations the go around the room, lights, tertiary decorations for tables and windows... Apparently the fine art of Christmas decoration came natural to Double Dee and sailed right by Kevin. He wasn't even aware he had plans to basically turn his house into Santa's workshop or whatever, but he was having too much fun watching the little guy with him to bother with caring too much.

The had made their way through most of the mall before spotting one. Kevin was rather surprised he didn't see at least a couple, but he supposed for those that still believed in Santa, seeing several within the same building might ruin it. Sitting in a large, throne-line chair in the center of the mall was a large, older man who actually made a rather convincing looking Mister Kringle.

A chuckle passed through the redhead as he turned to glance to Edd. His intent was to jokingly ask if he wanted to go see the man, but the boy in the girly Christmas outfit was gone, already on his way up to talk to the bearded guy.

"Well well well," Laughed the man good naturedly. "I wasn't expecting to see a young Missus Clause here today." Behind the small, circular glasses, the older man gave a small wink.

"It's nice to see you again, Santa." Edd smiled, offering to shake the man's hand. He had actually met this man before, being more or less the official town Santa for Peachcreek. Apparently he came to the mall once in a while during this time of the year. "Are you doing well?"

Shifting about in the large, oak chair, the man let out a hearty, very Santa-y laugh. "Sure am Eddward, an' you? Lookin' rather festive today."

"I do love Christmas, and I'm quite well, thank you." He pushed a few locks of black hair behind his ear before turning to the pimply faced teenager in an elf costume, polaroid camera in hand. One flash and Edd offered a little wave before hopping down from the little slice of the North Pole. "Thank you," Smiled the long haired boy as he was offered the picture in return for a few dollars. A shaky, flushed response tumbled out of the teen as he watched the cute 'girl' nearly skip back over to the muscular young man not too far off.

"You know that guy?" Kevin motioned with a nod of his head toward the mountain of a man entertaining children.

Casually, Double Dee shrugged, smiling happily. "He's a local Santa, pretty well known. He also owns a hobby shop I like to frequent when I feel like working on something that might be a bit too dangerous for the backyard."

"There are... so many questions that I wanna ask from those few sentences..." Kevin sighed with a small shake of his head.

"What?" Edd asked, pouting a bit.

"Nothin' dork."

"No, what is it?" Huffed the shorter teen as he was ushered along by his friend who only laughed.

After another hour of shopping, the two returned to the Kevin's sleek car, packing the back seat and trunk with their haul of Christmas finery. In all honesty, Kevin had to admit that he had had way more fun than he was expecting. He even had to chance to do a bit of gift shopping for his friends, present company included. If the few bags Double Dee was doing his best to keep concealed were any indication, he suspected the little guy had done just the same. As they sat at a traffic light, he peeked over to Edd, looking at the happily smiling young man. He seemed to have some kind of weird little glow of cheer around him. It was a little cute and a touch strange. Shopping afterglow, seriously?

"You're awfully happy lookin' dork, did'ja have that much fun?"

"Huh?" Looking over, Edd's smile turned a little sheepish. "Oh, sorry. I am always happy to be out during this time. All of the lights and colors, the feeling of hope and cheer... I feel so rather absurd saying that, but I truly feel that it's a magical time."

Looking at the sheer conviction in his eyes, Kevin smiled and reached over, slipping the hat off Edd's head to ruffle his hair a bit. "It's not absurd or whatever man, it's pretty cool."

"Cool?" Questioned the teen being petted, looking up to Kevin.

Looking back to the road, the cars began to roll forward a bit. "Yeah man..." The redhead began. "... Y'know... It's like... I dunno, there don't seem to be that many good people in the world from what I've seen. Even during the holidays, there people still bein' selfish and greedy." His hand followed the long, wavy hair down to Edd's shoulder absently. "But there are still a few people... Like you y'know? People that you just know are good through and through." Turning, he smiled to Edd. "Pure spirits or whatever."

Red colored the pale cheeks, the bespectacled teen staring at Kevin's face. "You think... Very highly of me it seems."

"Yeah, guess I do."

Looking to his hands, Edd pressed his fingertips together. "If what you say is true though... I don't believe someone with those bad feelings in their heart would notice such a think, much less recognize someone who is 'pure', as you say. So..." Reaching up, he took Kevin's hand smiling sweetly. "I suppose it takes one to know one?"

Fingers squeezed the small hands back a bit, the redhead blushing a bit while looking to the road. "Thanks dork..." Edd flushed and smiled to himself, feeling it spread uncontrollably into a grin. Hands continued to hold each other in the cheerful, Christmas-y atmosphere within the vehicle as they began to leave the city, back towards their homes.

The sun was beginning to drop as the two pulled into Kevin's driveway. Lights in the homes of the cul-de-sac were already beginning to turn on as they unpacked the decorations from the car and into the redhead's room to be put up later. Double Dee watched the broad back shift as Kevin arranged the boxes and bags in some kind of order, a small blush working up Edd's face. Kevin jumped a bit as slim arms circled around him from behind, gripping his jacket slightly. He glanced over his shoulder to look at his smaller friend. Blue eyes looked to him, a nervous light flickering in and out as they looked from him to the floor and back.

Slowly, he turned in the hold, placing his arms around Double Dee's shoulders and drawing him a bit closer. He briefly considered that this wasn't even strange to him anymore. In fact, it was almost welcomed, enjoyed, even wanted. Edd's slim body felt good to hold and he smelled absolutely delicious. They stayed in a tight embrace for a few moments, neither saying anything. Double Dee giggled ever so lightly as he felt Kevin's face nuzzle into the top of his head affectionately, responding with a nuzzle of his own into Kevin's throat.

Just as they began to separate, the shorter of the two paused, standing on his toes to place a soft, sweet smooch onto Kevin's closest cheek. He bit his lip a little, leaning back to gauge his friend as he still stood in the embrace of the strong arms. "Merry Christmas, Kevin."

Blushing faintly, the football player gulped a little. Something inside him stirred faintly as he looked at the cute, demure look on the feminine features of his friend. "M-Merry Christmas, Double Dee." He tugged him close once more hugging him tight. Both flushed even worse as Kevin did his best to slip in a quick peck no the pale, smooth cheek next to his face.

They slowly broke their embrace, looking to each other shyly. "I'll see you tomorrow? Surely you can't handle decorating all by yourself."

"Who's the one who hosts parties here dork? I can throw these up in an hour if I wanted."

"Kevin!" Reprimanded the boy, placing his hands on his hips. "You can't simply 'throw up' Christmas decorations." He used his fingers to sign a pair of quotation marks. "It's part of the joy of having a Christmas party. We will have Nazz and Marie over to help, enjoy some traditional eggnog, and have fun."

"Oh, we will will we?" Challenged the larger of the two. He crossed his arms challengingly, smirking down at the defiant little bookworm. "You do know having those two together will make them completely useless, right?"

Edd offered a shrug and turned to leave. "More fun for us, right?" He glanced back over his shoulder, catching the redhead's eyes thoroughly examining his legs for a moment before flicking up to him.

"Y-Yeah... You're right." Kevin grinned. Tomorrow was going to quite the... experience.
