15. Fun with the Goblins and the Lottery.

That night I bunked with Elena and Aya, for luck. Besides hacking my way through the world of bureaucracy, I taught Hilda about Wind. After I delivered Elena to the Demons, I hopped Hilda over to the Temple of Wind, Level 3 is not bad for a novice with one week's of study about air, I think her [Magician] occupation is boosting her.

To practice it, we ported to the Tower and toasted some Starfish on floor 12. A combination with her [Rod of Oil], her [Fire Control], and [Wind Control] made it into a raging [Fire Whip].

She got some new spells and a few of them were added under [Composite Magic], which raised her level and her Magic Power.

I amused myself by occasionally putting a [Barrier] up and looting the Magic Stones. At lunchtime, I put a pic-nick up with Elena, Lela, and Hilda… too bad it was in the army camp, and those bloody nobles followed their nose to our table. I ended up grilling a lot of fish from the Tower of Sunrise.

It did give us the respect we deserved when we told them which floor the fish came from. A few slices of bread with eel from Level 11 will be hard to get if not from us. No, I am not giving them my flying fish and catfish. Perhaps that whale? I have it in my [Inventory], I can slap it here on the floor and let them deal with it.

The war preparations were done, the field is prepared, the supply line of the Goblins is crippled so they have no other choice than advance.

When the goblins decided to set up camp, I used the poison of the Devil spy on the General's drinking water. Now Aya moved in to commute from here to college; I help to pay for her tuition too. You see, I had no time or funds for girls." I laughed: "That was until I got summoned to another world and received Magic Powers. Money is not a problem anymore, and I have the girls I wished for. And thank you Mai for wanting me. The food was excellent, the company beautiful, and the conversation was about killing and war… the kitchen is a bit too small, we moved everything into the living room, the TV stood lonely at the side and broadcast the lottery draw, totally forgotten.

Hilda loosened up and connected with Yurie. A person that likes her and wants to spend time with her and play, is a whole new experience for Hilda. The girls woke up with the smell of breakfast, at the table Yurie moaned: "You are spoiling us Seiji, this taste sooo goood…"

Lela smiled: "You better eat up, the battle begins before noon, and probably lasts for hours. It tastes very good Master Seiji."

Geared up, we [Teleport] to the human camp. We spotted a young boy holding a spear that was too big for him; Elena claimed the boy for [Candy] duty, that way he will survive and I can take Hilda along to the Demons. I left Elena and Lela with their army and ported Yurie, May, Hilda, and Aya to the Demon side where we introduced Mai to the Demon Lord.

"Demon Lord, may I introduce my sister Aya, my adopted sister Hilda, my future concubine Yurie, and last but not least Mai, she too agreed to be my concubine. Mai, Yurie, and Aya, This is the leader of the Demon nation.

Demon lord, the girls agreed to battle at your side. They all have a device that can communicate with me and Elena. My job is to eliminate the leaders and reinforce weak points."

Demon Lord protested: "But Hilda and Mai are just children! How can we allow little girls on the battlefield?"

It did not kill the King, but I caught him by surprise. Porting back, I warned Elena and Aya: "I killed a few, and they are coming."

The goblins lost it and stormed in without organizing, I [Teleport] all over the place and eliminated the Princes with a [Lightning Strike]. 2 000 000 volts is too much for any Prince, eight [Lightning Strike] later, the only princes are in the rearguard. For the small stuff I used my old Master's Katana with [Air Cutter], it is my way to honor my master to use his Katana in battle. His words were: "Only unsheathe a katana to protect your loved ones or country."

The generals, weakened by my poison were easy targets. The armies met, the Earth Magicians erected walls to box them in. I noticed Lela with her [Magic Stone of Tornado] assisted by local magicians, fueling her Tornado, Elena froze the place with [Hailstorm], covering a big field.

On the Demon side, Aya started her [Wind Tornado] Mai added her [Fire Control], and Yurie added her sand and pebbles. Together they went through the goblins like a knife through butter. The task of the [Tornado] was to guide the Goblins deeper into the trap.

The battle lasted three hours, our Armies could hold them off now the Princes and Generals are dead, guarded by the girls, the troops could show their worth.

We kept the King alive, killing him would break the Goblin army apart into small bands that would run away. When the King saw the day was lost, he tried to retreat.

I called the girls: "Everyone, I am going to [Teleport] that king to the bottleneck of the battlefield. Elena, Lela, you both need to finish him. That will get you the loyalty of your people. Aya, Yurie, and Mai support them both. Tell me when you are in position."

A minute later Elena called: "Lord Seiji, we are ready."

The Oil she fired, burned for five minutes, if the goblins wanted to escape they had to run through the fire.

You can ask why we do the heavy-duty work and kill all the Generals and Princes? It is quite simple, Experience! Our levels raised a lot!

At the moment I am Level 72, Aya 56, Elena 59, Lela did not do much this week and is now just over 45. Hilda is close to 33, equal to Yurie. Mai? She doesn't want to be [Appraised], she has a [Magic Stone of Appraisal]. If she is curious she will cast it on herself.

I put my hand on his shoulder and said: "I expect full payment for eliminating two thousand Orcs, two Goblin armies, and in this battle, the [Hero Party] killed all the princes and Generals, even the majority of the Hobgoblins. On top of that; I prevented a war with the Demons, which too needs to be compensated. Or do you think a Hero works for free? I have to pay my bills too you know?"

We concentrated on the worse cases, we told the soldiers with lost limbs that the nobles they fought for can buy an elixir for 150 Aurums. And if the noble refuses to pay for it, I will cut that Noble's legs off and he can buy a [Elixir] from me for 50000 Aurums. That message went viral, some soldiers acted smart and made a list of the ones needing the [Elixir] and which noble they did battle for.

Before the delegation of Nobles went to the Demons, I warned them one last time: "Anyone that tries to [Appraise] a demon will get killed on the spot. I will personally kill him myself. The Demons feel the [Appraisal] when it is cast on them and it feels like they are raped. Don't say I didn't warn you." Have I scared them enough? Meh, fuck them if they do.

I let Elena and Lela lead the alliance talks, any protests died when Elena and Lela conjured their [Water Ball] and [Light Ball] in their hands.

Elena commented: "It is by the combined efforts of Lord Hero, Iron Wall Lela, the rest of the [Hero Party], and me that we only have a few hundred causalities instead of thousands, and that your territories are not raided by Orcs and Goblins. The healers chose to remain with the wounded; Butte, the main healer complimented Elena on her healing capability: "You progressed a lot Princess Elena, I saw you do some unfamiliar but very effective magic spells, where did you learn those?"

"Thank you for the compliment Mistress Butte, Hero Seiji taught me how to look for the cause of the wounds and sickness and how to cure it. He guided me to find new ways of healing."

"Well done Hero, can we convince you to a few lectures in our Temple? I feel our healers would gain much from it."

Once you get used to taking a bath each day, you can't live without it. Yurie took Mai and Hilda first, Aya and Lela were next, then it was my turn with Elena.

The others joined them when they came out of the bathroom, finally, it was my turn to bathe!

"Lord Seiji told Lela and me to take the credit for killing the Goblin King, by doing so, we broke free from our father's control. Lela and I are now fully committed to the [Hero Party] as the wives of Lord Seiji. We all want you to be one of the wives, Lord Seiji likes you, and so do we.

Everyone here in the room is going to be a part of the Harem, there is one more that is a possible candidate for now. As I told Aya, there will be no more than ten wives. Lydia, we have ways to teach you Magic and raise your Power. Lela for example raised her level from 13 to 45 in one week's time, and her life was never in danger."

Aya added: "But that is not why you are here, Lela decided to give herself completely to Seiji, and wanted all the wives to be present. We know it is too soon for you to participate, but we want you here with us."
