Hello! I've been a big fan of The Wizard of Oz ever since I first saw it and have been reading all of these wonderful fan fictions for quite some time now, so I decided to try my hand at writing one. It's just going to be a little one shot but I hope you all enjoy it anyway!
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, unfortunately, but I wish I did!
Anyway, here we go!
The Setup: This takes place when the Scarecrow and the Tin Man are trying to rescue Dorothy from the Wicked Witch of the West.
"We have to get Dorothy out of there!" yelled the Tin Man. "I know" replied the Scarecrow "Please hurry!" they heard Dorothy yell and tried even harder to chop down the heavy wood door. Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching and felt themselves get hit on the head by a hard material. When they awoke, they were in an unknown place. "Where are we?" the Tin Man asked. "I don't know" said the Scarecrow. Then, they heard voices coming from another room. "Now no one will be able to save Dorothy and I can finally kill her!" they immediately knew that it was the Wicked Witch of the West.
"We have to find a way to get out!" said the scarecrow. Then, he saw a small hammer lying on the ground. "We can use this to get out!" he shouted. Then he heard footsteps coming into the room. "I'll take that." Said the Wicked Witch and snatched the hammer out of the scarecrow's hand. "Now we'll never be able to get out!"
"I have an idea" said the Tin Man "We can try and break down the door" So they tried for hours and hours but the door didn't budge. "This isn't working." Said the Scarecrow "Maybe we can try something else" he then noticed a window at the very top of the wall, level with the ground outside. "Maybe we can climb through that window" he said "That's too small, we'll never be able to fit through it." Said the Tin Man. "Well we have to try. We have to save Dorothy so we can kill the wicked witch and bring her broom back to the Wizard." "Ok" replied the Tin Man "Let's try, for Dorothy's sake."
So they went over to the window "You kneel down and help me get up there, I'll climb through and then help you get up." Said the Scarecrow. The Tin Man then bent down and gave the Scarecrow a lift; he put his head through the window first. "I'm stuck" He shouted back to the Tin Man, but not loud enough for other people to hear. "Where did the Lion go?" He asked the Tin Man. "I think he got scared and ran off "Great. He runs off when we need him. Give me a push." The Tin Man tried to push the Scarecrow through the window and, after many tries, it finally worked! "Ok, give me your hand I'll pull you up you use your feet to climb up the wall and get through the window."
They had to try this many times, since the Tin Man kept falling, but it finally worked. "Now let's go save Dorothy" said the Scarecrow and they ran toward the place where Dorothy was taken captive.

Well, that's it! I know it wasn't very long or elaborate…or good, but I still hope you enjoyed reading it!
