Eragon fought like one possessed against the Ra'zak, countering every blow, with a swift swipe. Unfortunately so did the Ra'zak themselves.
The battle raged on for hours. Eragon was the first to land a blow on one of the Ra'zaks arms. When he brought back his blade he was shocked to see that the Ra'zak was barely injured.
Openoing his magic powers to his body Eragon yelled "Brisinger!", and swung his sword at the creatures head, missing by inches.
The Ra'zak with the wounded arm grabbed Eragon by the collar of his tunic and stabbed at him, but because of his new speed and agility from the elves, he quickly avoided the blow and kicked the Ra'zak away from himself.
Saphira burst through the doors of the chapel, swiftly followed by Roran and his green dragon. Roran ran and dived on the unwounded Ra'zak, slamming his hammer into its face, crushing its head and killing it instantly.
As the other Ra'zak made a stab at the cornered Eragon Saphira's massive talons came down upon the creature, tearing it into pieces.
"The Ra'zak are dead" exclaimed Eragon, in supprise.
