Hello everyone! I am back and so sorry that I didn't update for so long. Actually I just left my home country, moving to Canada for my further studies, that was why I was so busy for past few weeks. But no worries, we are gonna move ahead. Now, I present you the next chapter of my story! Yayyy! Lets have a look.
The birth of a demon
It was a few days later since the attack of enchantress on Camelot, when the said lady was moving through the woods in search of something.
The night was enveloping the skies and the moon and stars were the only illuminating objects providing light. She looked around, as she felt it, the old dark magic. She knew she was reaching at the right spot. Her destination. The dark magic in her veins was thrumming wildly and she couldn't help but feel giddy, her eyes glowing red.
A maniac glint entered her eyes as she found the dark, deserted fort standing in front of her. Her cold laugh echoed around the dark woods as she laughed giddily looking at the fort. She reached there, the destination.
In the dark fortress, the enchantress moved searching around, it was when she found the throne room, in there was a tomb made of stones so black that even made the enchantress shiver in fear. In the tomb lied the most powerful and darker creatures of all times. The demon, named Orias.
The enchantress smirked, waving her hand as a ball appeared in her hands. The same ball which was covered in red mist which was trapped by it after Alexia released it. The enchantress brushed off the red mist, revealing a pure silver ball which was nothing but Alexia's magic. A pure essence of magic of the lady of unicorns, surrounding her blood. And it was the only thing that could awaken the demon. The healing powers of the magic of the lady of unicorns were enormous and when it was mixed with her drop of blood, it was unmatchable.
The enchantress smirked. Alexia might think she won the battle, but she did not know that the enchantress never fought to lose. Killing Alexia was never her plan, but merely a trick to achieve this. For what she was going to unleash will be much more horrendous and worse.
Placing the ball on the tomb, the enchantress took a deep breath, chanting the words of old religion.
"Ácwician! Ácwician! Ácwician!..." The chants picked up the speed as her voice grew louder and louder.
The winds picked up, sliver and red magic swirled around, the ball vibrated, so did the tomb and before she knew, the tomb cracked, sending such a powerful wave of magic which blasted the enchantress from her feet, making her crash in the wall.
In Camelot, both Merlin and Alexia woke up with a jerk, panting hard as they looked at each other, trying to decipher what new problem were they going to face.
In Morgana's chambers, the lady screamed as she saw a dark face covered in black hood in her nightmare, waking up breathing heavily.
Under the stoned castle, the great dragon gave a huge mighty roar, as he felt the shift in powers.
All the magical users felt the dark sense of magic.
"Alexia!" The voice of dragon made Alexia wake up a second time that night. Alexia groaned as she woke up and looked at the warlock whose eyes were already on her. The pair nodded as they left the room, making their way towards the cave.
"Kilgharrah!" Alexia called as she looked up.
The dragon flew down and looked at her and Merlin.
"You have felt it too." Merlin pointed as he saw the look on the great dragon's face.
"Yes. And you, young witch might be the reason for this." The dragon spoke up, making Alexia look at him with wide eyes.
"What? No, I did nothing!" She asked.
"I speak nothing but truth. In order to protect Mordred and Morgana, you unleashed the enchantress. And now, you didn't collect the ruins of your magic when you created the runes to stop the magic of enchantress. I warned you young witch, to be careful about the ritual. It required your pure essence of magic and your blood, those two things were extremely powerful and you didn't remember to collect them. It is now time to face the consequences, the world will face the biggest threat and the age of darkness will rise again." The dragon shouted and Alexia flinched, her body shivering. Merlin swiftly stood in front of her.
"Don't shout at her like that!" He yelled back, glaring at the dragon but the dragon seemed unfazed.
"I am merely stating the truth young warlock. She has doomed the future up to such extent that even I dread what it might hold."
Alexia felt tears stinging her eyes and before she knew, she turned around, running back.
She heard a distant shout of her name and steps coming from behind.
"Alexia!" An arm wrapped around her as she slipped on her next step at the stair. Merlin quickly balanced her as he tightened his hold on her and Alexia slipped from his arms, slumping on the step breaking down.
Merlin looked at her with pity.
"Alexia." He called softly, moving to her.
"Merlin I..." She cried. "I.. I can't... I am sorry. It's my... I am at faul'..." Her speech slurred as she spoke, crying loudly as she thought about all the things she changed.
"Shush!" Merlin calmed her, wrapping his hands around her, trying to stop her cries.
But it didn't matter, because she didn't stop.
"I.. I should have known better." Her breathing was becoming ragged.
"Tinkering with... with... past changes... future." The breaths became shallower.
"Alexia." "Can't. Can't do a single thing good." Her voice was distant, the line ringing in her head when she suddenly realised, she couldn't breathe. She tried to take breathes but it wasn't happening. Everything was clustering up on her. Her vision was swirling. She looked at the walls which appeared as if they were climbing upon her. Air was becoming a necessity but at the same time scarce.
"Merlin!" She cried, gasping deeply.
She could her him, calling to her. He was here, he didn't leave her, but this wasn't consoling her, nothing was clear.
"Can...can't breathe!" Her voice was ragged, she knew it but nothing happened. Black spots were now appearing in front of her eyes. And Alexia couldn't even do anything.
Her lungs were stopping, her heart thumping loudly, and before she knew, everything blackened.
"Alexia!" Merlin cried in panic. The girl was unconscious know, lying on the dark stairs which lead to dragon's cave.
Merlin felt unconditional anger towards the beast. How dare he speak to her like that? It wasn't like she did wrong. She just tried to save everyone. She already had the knowledge of things which were going to happen, she just couldn't allow them to happen like this.
"Alexia." He tapped her face, trying to wake her up but to no avail. He moved to check her pulse, and nearly staggered back when he found how slow it was.
The warlock cursed as he picked her up, rushing to Gaius's chambers.
Surprisingly, as he was moving back in the Griffin corridors, he found Arthur. The prince looked at them as he rushed towards them.
Before he could rebuke or shout at him, his eyes fell on the unconscious Alexia.
"What happened to her?" The prince asked, his voice loud.
"Don't know. Just fainted." Merlin answered back, panting as he continued to carry her back to Gaius's chambers. Arthur followed them, shaking his head.
The door to the physician was slammed open and Arthur entered quickly, giving way to Merlin who was carrying Alexia. He swiftly emptied the cot for patients, the noise waking up Gaius. Merlin laid the girl there as he stumbled beside her, rubbing her hands.
"What happened to her?" Gaius asked.
"She fainted!" Merlin snapped. The physician raised a brow but knew how Merlin reacted in matters of Alexia. He moved to her, checking her pulse as he frowned.
"How did she faint?" He asked. Merlin remained quiet, his own eyes wide.
"Was she stressed about something?" Gaius asked again. Merlin's eyes darkened at that.
"She was totally broken. Her cries.." Merlin gulped. "She was a mess Gaius, she was gasping for air, didn't reply to my calls, didn't even hear me." Merlin knew his voice was breaking, and he knew Arthur was there, but he couldn't care less.
"My goodness." Gaius shook his head.
"Gaius what happened?" Arthur asked, worry seeping his tone.
"It appears she has just faced a panic disorder." Gaius explained the prince.
Arthur frowned at the unfamiliar term while Merlin took a sharp intake of breath. How the hell did he not recognise the symptoms?
"Gaius." Merlin breathed, too shocked to say anything.
"And as she fainted, I believe it was quite severe." He told them, looking at the girl, his eyes watering a bit. She was after all like a daughter to him.
Merlin took a deep breath.
"We can cure her." He said, but it sounded more like a question.
Gaius nodded, moving to the shelfs, taking out the medicines required before starting the treatment.
"Merlin!" Arthur called moving to him.
"What is a panic disorder?" He asked looking at Alexia with worry clouding his eyes.
Merlin took a shaky breath.
"It's.. it's when your panic clouds you, it makes your brain to suffer so much pain and fear that you can't do anything. Your breathing becomes scarce and you can't breathe properly. Generally it can be dealt with counting or distracting yourself, but if it is severe, you end up losing consciousness." He answered, his voice calm but Arthur could hear the current underlying it.
"I never heard of it!" The prince pointed, not really willing to believe what was happening.
"Because general people are not aware of it, they do not even believe in such things. For them, this is a situation when some evil force called 'Pan' strikes them. They don't understand the science behind it, nor are they willing to believe it." The warlock sighed, closing his eyes as the face of panicked Alexia, covered in sweat, trying to fight to even breathe.
"Will she be fine?" The prince, not able to bear the thought of losing someone whom he had cared as a sister. He mentally scoffed at that, knowing if Merlin or anyone else knew about it, he would be teased mercilessly. But he couldn't help as he saw the girl lying unconscious.
"Gaius is treating her." Merlin answered instead, trying to reassure both himself and Arthur. Arthur gulped audibly, before looking at Merlin.
"How did this happen?" Arthur asked.
Merlin looked at him.
"I..." A sigh escaped his lips. "I don't know." Arthur stared at him for few seconds before nodding.
"Take care of her." With a pat on his back, Arthur left.
Gaius came to him.
"I have given her potions to stabilize her heartbeat and to calm her mind. Also I have a slipped a sleeping potion, hoping it will keep her calm. She will wake up fine. You can rest." He said before moving back.
Merlin looked at her before moving beside her and sitting on the floor, holding her hand.
Before he knew, he was drifting to sleep.
The warlock and the witch woke up to the sounds of the bell tolling, making them aware of an attack.
Alexia groaned as she sat up.
Merlin was on his feet in a swift, holding her.
"You are supposed to rest." Merlin scolded gently.
Alexia looked at him.
"What happened?" She asked.
Merlin stared at the green orbs, feeling glad to see them again before he sighed.
"You had a panic disorder." He told her making her eyes wide.
"What?" She mumbled, her thoughts drifting back to what the dragon told her. Her eyes watered.
"I.. I am sorry Merlin. You must be so angry with me! I promise I never wanted it to happen! To make something bad happen to everyone!" Alexia begged and Merlin couldn't help but hate the dragon more.
"Hey! Hey, hey!" He cupped her cheeks, bending to her level.
"You didn't do it intentionally. It just happened. And you know how he is always grumpy, stop think about the dragon. I know you Alexia, and I know you will never hurt anyone willingly." Alexia looked at him with teary eyes.
"Shush!" He wiped her eyes. "No more crying. We will deal with it later." He assured her and Alexia gave a shaky nod.
Suddenly, the doors slammed open and four knights entered, carrying a fifth one on their shoulders.
Arthur entered just behind them. Merlin straightened and Alexia got up, staring at them in confusion.
"What happened?" Merlin asked the prince.
"He was injured fighting a creature." The prince replied as the knights settled the fifth knight, who Alexia recognised as Sir Ewan. The first person she saved from destiny. She shivered as a thought entered her mind, she moved towards him, placing a hand on his neck to feel the pulse, only to find nothing. A gasp escaped her lips as her hands flew to her mouth.
"He is dead." She whispered brokenly, looking at Merlin, who stared at her, his eyes worried for her.
Arthur cursed as the knights bowed their heads, giving their last condolences.
Alexia, Merlin and Gaius were now reading the books, trying to find the creature that might have attacked the city now.
They were provided with a description, so at least they had a head start. The creature was supposed to be bird like, but it was meant to have the longest beak a bird could ever have. It had two large wings, along with two talons and two feet to stand. A long pointed tail with many small sharp pointed stings, poisonous enough to kill in a single touch.
They read many books, trying to think of any creature who might match the description but found none.
Back at the fortress, a man could be seen sitting on the throne made of skulls as he smirked. He was leaning heavily on his throne, as if he didn't really have energy, but he was still the most powerful demon in existence. His face was covered with dark cloak, hiding his features but his smirk was visible to the lady standing in front of him.
"My lord." The lady bowed.
"What news do you bear for me?" He asked.
"The attack was successful, a knight of Camelot was killed." She answered and the man laughed, such a dangerous laugh which could course fear in anyone. But the lady merely laughed.
"Oh enchantress! You please me." He chuckled darkly. "You and I both are aware that this wasn't even a drop of the ocean that I have at my disposal. The creatures of dark are rising again, and soon, it will be time to attack. Give it two years and we will be ready to take over the world, and not just Camelot and Albion." The demon spoke up.
The enchantress giggled at that.
"Off course my lord."
Alexia couldn't help but feel guilt creeping upon her.
It is your fault.
The voice in the back of her head made her close her eyes. Yes. It was her fault, and she must stop this. The creature must die. But what creature can do this? There wasn't even a scratch on Sir Ewan's body. Alexia swore that she will kill the enchantress, no matter what it took, not even realising how her eyes flashed silver, binding her word and making it an oath.
It was midnight and Gaius was sitting on his desk, still searching through the books. He looked up to see his two wards. One was sleeping with his head on the book he was searching through, while the other was on verge of collapse as she tried to turn the page. He shook his head, returning back to the book. Trying to think what might have happened.
"It's my fault." A murmured sound made him aware of his now sleeping ward. So finally she collapsed.
"It's my fault." She murmured again and Gaius thought what she might be referring to. He sighed, she was stressed, that much was clear, but she didn't even tell what was actually wrong. Neither she nor Merlin told him how she got that panic disorder. Something happened which made her like this. He stood up, forgetting his book as he made his way towards his wards. With a gentle caress, he moved his hands on their heads.
He looked at Alexia before his eyes fell on the book she was holding, the page was folded which helped him peek a glance at the creature on the next page. Not much, but merely a tail was visible, a sharp pointy tail. Carefully, he freed the book from his wards hand and turned to page. Relief washed over him as he finally found the creature.
Kliplings. He frowned at the name.
"Merlin, Alexia." He called waking them up, moving back to his seat. The two youngsters got up, looking at Gaius expectantly.
"I found the creature." He said and they both quickly shuffled to him, their eyes staring at the creature.
"This is it!" Alexia called excitedly, a smile appearing on her face. Merlin looked happy as well and Gaius couldn't help but wish this happiness for both of them.
"What is it?" Merlin asked as he moved to read the description.
"Kliplings, they are considered one of the darkest of creatures. But what is surprising is that no one ever saw them in a long time. They were said to be sent to sleep with their master, the demon named Orias." Gaius said as his voice grew grave by the end and suddenly Merlin and Alexia realised something.
If the creatures were sent to sleep along with Orias, the how were they attacking now? It only meant one thing, Orias was awoken.
"Gaius." Alexia called looking at her guardian.
"Who was Orias?" She asked.
Gaius looked at her before he told them.
"Orias is a demon, a creature of dark magic. He was considered ruthless when he ruled. Killing everyone in his path and ruling the lands with his own dark creatures. There were many unheard creatures that worked under him. Some so powerful that his army was thought unable to be defeated. It took power of God knows how many priests and priestess to even contain him, much less put him to sleep." Gaius tone grew worried at the end.
Alexia suddenly shivered at the thought of Orias.
"And... and what if this... Orias was to be awaken now?" She asked, her words containing her fear.
"Then I dread to think what might happen to our world. Because after his last defeat, he won't stop untill he achieves his goals." Gaius told them. The look that Alexia and Merlin shared raised his suspicion. Alexia stumbled back.
"Alexia!" Merlin shouted moving towards her.
"What have I done?" She gasped out.
"Alexia hear me out! You did not do anything! It wasn't even your fault!" He tried to calm her.
"It was!" Alexia yelled back.
"No!" The warlock shouted, standing straight. Alexia looked at him with wide eyes and it broke his heart to see her this vulnerable.
Merlin took a deep breath.
"It isn't your fault Alexia! You just wanted to save Mordred, Morgana, Arthur and everyone! It isn't your fault." He soothed.
"And the essence? My magic? Wasn't it my mistake?" She asked looking at him.
"You are not god Alexia! You can commit mistakes. You couldn't stop her and it isn't your fault. Stop feeling guilty because it won't help anyone!" Merlin pleaded, his eyes boring into hers like they were locked by some invisible force. At the end, Alexia nodded.
Merlin sighed in relief before turning to his guardian. He definitely had some explaining to do.
Arthur and Uther were now sitting in the council chambers.
"How are you not able to kill the beast?" Uther snapped, irritated.
"I don't know father. We have tried everything, swords, arrows, fire, everything!" Arthur sighed.
Uther stood up, moving to the window, looking at the rising sun.
"We have to kill this menace. I want your knights to be prepared, they will ride by noon." Uther announced, looking grave.
"What is the meaning of this attack?" The enchantress asked, looking at her lord, who was sitting at his throne.
"It is a warning, that I am giving to my enemies. I am making them aware of my awakening."
The enchantress frowned.
"Won't it be better, if you fought in secret?" The enchantress asked.
"Where will be fun in that? They cannot defeat me, not now. I have been resting for so long now. Time is drawing near. The final battle will take place after three years. And in that battle, I will conquer the world. I want them to tremble with fear with just my name. I want them to fear my creatures. And I will build that fear. No matter how." A maniac smirk appeared on his lips, his lower mouth the only thing that was visible. The hood covering the other part.
"Why wait for three years?"
The question was answered with a snarl.
"I underestimated the priests and priestesses. They made my creatures sleep longer than me. Awakening me has weakened their spells, but not broken them. It will take a few years to get my army back and I won't attack without my dark elves. For they are the ones that will win me my battle." The growl that escaped his lips made the enchantress shiver. In Camelot, Arthur could be seen preparing with the knights.
Alexia and Morgana were looking at them from the window.
"I fear for them. Something is wrong." Morgana spoke up.
Alexia suppressed her scoff. It was her fault that things were wrong.
"I and Merlin will leave with them. At least I will be able to save them." Alexia said. But she could hear her mind laughing at that. She will save them? It was better if she didn't do a single thing. She already ruined everything.
"...Alexia! ALEXIA!" The shout brought her back as she looked at the lady in front of her.
"What were you thinking?" She asked.
Alexia just shook her head.
"I must take your leave." She bowed and left, leaving a very confused Morgana behind.
"Merlin! Arthur is riding with his knights." Alexia said.
"I know, he called us." He said and they left, leaving a worried Gaius behind. The physician just prayed to the tripple goddess that may these two be blessed by her.
The pair entered the room.
"Merlin, I want you to be prepared, we are riding in noon. Alexia, you must stay behind."
"No!" Alexia denied quickly.
Arthur raised a brow at that.
"Are you forgetting I am the prince?" He asked.
Alexia rolled her eyes.
"And when have I ever considered your orders?" She snapped back.
Arthur suppressed the urge to bang his head in the wall.
"Alexia! You just recovered from a panic disorder because of god knows what! I am not going to endanger you again." The mention of her panic made her stop but she took a deep breath and smirked.
"Be careful Arthur, it appears like you care for me."
A scoff escaped Arthur and Merlin tried to stop his chuckle.
"You can't stop her Arthur. You know that." Merlin pointed and Arthur glared at both of them.
"You both are idiots." He sighed turning away.
"Ready the horses." He commanded and they both smiled.
Noon arrived, and with that, the knights of Camelot were ready to defend their kingdom against the unknown creature. Merlin and Alexia looked at each other as they were riding behind Arthur.
"Is it going to be okay?" Alexia asked, her question booming in his mind. Merlin looked at her as he nodded. "I am sure we can do it."
Alexia looked at the prince moving forward as she felt the underlying guilt showing its presence again. Her stupidity was going to cost the whole world, and she felt it was her mistake. A sigh escaped Merlin's lips as he looked at Alexia, already aware of her thinking process. He knew she didn't want it, didn't want any of this, but it still did happen. He wasn't blaming Alexia, god forbid him, he was just upset that maybe, maybe he could save them before it's too late. Especially Alexia, who was drowning in her own guilt. But little did he know, that the destiny was taking such a turn that was going to change the legends of Merlin. Emrys and Arian weren't just druid names, they held their own meanings. They were hope, hope to end the darkness that was going to engulf the world in near future.
They finally reached a clearing vast enough to shelter them, and they were sure a mere few tricks will be enough to kill the beast.
"We are gonna stop now." Arthur's voice boomed around, making the witch and the warlock aware of his presence. "Rest here, because we will be ending the tyranny of this beast tonight only." His words filled everyone with encouragement. "To Camelot!" One of the knights shouted. "To Camelot!" their voice boomed around.
The knights scattered around, finding firewood and hunt. Alexia and Merlin were together as they continued to search firewood. When they reached an isolated, they felt eyes on them. The witch and warlock prepared to attack, but stopped when the saw Iseldir standing there.
"Emrys. Arian." He greeted them with a bow. The two youngsters bowed back, as they looked around.
There around them stood many other druids, some of them old enough, and Alexia realized they were the druid elders.
"We believe that you felt the shift in the power." Iseldir spoke up. Alexia stiffened at that. Merlin, noticing it, held her hand and gave it a little squeeze.
"Do not fear Arian, for we are aware of how you feel about it. It wasn't your fault. You changed destinies but you couldn't change the balance. For each light there is darkness, for each good there is evil." One of the druid leaders spoke. Alexia took a deep breath.
"This doesn't change the fact that I was involved." She countered.
The druid shook his head. "No, it doesn't." he agreed.
"But thinking about it won't change anything. We have to prepare, and we have to prepare soon. The golden age of Albion is drawing near, and so is the age of darkness. In the upcoming three years, the final battle will take place. And it will determine who will win." An elder lady announced, her voice hazy.
The druids suddenly dropped to their knees.
"Time of magic is arriving soon, we can feel it, but there are many obstacles which are going to hinder your success. For that, we swear our loyalty to Emrys and Arian, promising to fight when the time comes and ready to give our lives for the golden age that was prophesied in the past." The druids announced making Merlin and Alexia shiver. The golden tendrils of magic thrummed loudly, swirling around, as if pleased with this change.
"We accept." The voice of Emrys and Arian boomed around, binding the oath and Merlin and Alexia couldn't help but wonder what all future contained for them.
The druids rose, pleased with themselves.
"Remember Arian, kindness surpasses everything, and you are the epitome of kindness. It is your nature to be like a mother, caring and forgiving. And you did just that. Lady Morgana and young Mordred were blessed by your kindness and so was the enchantress, when you did not strike the evil when she was at your mercy. And one shouldn't feel sorry for who they are, if they move on the right path." Iseldir stated softly, making Alexia smile and sigh in relief.
"Thank you. I needed to hear that."
With that, the druids vanished.
Alexia and Merlin looked at each other, a new strength restored in them and Alexia couldn't help but feel pleased as the guilt slowly left her body. The pair then continued to collect firewood before they made their way back to the camp.
The evening was drawing near and even if no one spoke up loud, they could feel the nervousness and slight fear in the air. The unseen foe was going to attack soon, as it did when night was nearing and Merlin found that his magic was edgy. He knew it was a mere slight tingle which meant the beast was nearby. But as the night grew, the feeling increased and Alexia started feeling it too.
Suddenly, a screech echoed in the silence of the knight and the knights drew out their swords. Alexia took out her own sword as did Merlin but they both knew they were going to fight with their magic than the sword. The silence following the roar was scary enough but no one ever imagined what they saw next. A huge beast, which could easily surpass a dragon entered the large clearing, screeching loudly. The knights and the prince stared at the beast dazed as they thought about how the beast grew so enormous.
"I wish we could call Kilgharrah." Alexia muttered to herself as she looked at the beast.
"On me!" Arthur yelled and knights collected together forming a position. Their swords were in their right hands while the left one held shields. The creature spread out its wings as it screeched loudly, its long pointy tail swinging rapidly. Alexia realized how poisonous it was, as she yelled.
"Beware of the tail. One touch and you are dead!" Her shouts definitely didn't help to ease the fear of the knights, but at least it made them cautious.
The beast attacked them and the knights rolled and ducked. Some of them fired arrows, making it soar into the air. The creature took few loops in the air, which gave the knights a chance to prepare another shot at the arrow, while few of them still were holding their sword. They knew arrows didn't have as much effect on the beast, and only a sword will be able to kill it.
Merlin's eyes flashed gold as he stared at the arrow one of the knights fired. The shiny tip glowed but no one really noticed as the arrow pierced the skin of the beast who gave a painful screech. The sound made the knights cheer as hope appeared back in their attacks. But it didn't last long when the creature turned back, charging towards them. The prince and the knights were ready to attack when the beast opened its mouth, releasing a gas of some sort. The poisonous breath quickly made its way around as the knights started falling back. Arthur was the last one to lose consciousness as he moved close enough to strike a blow. The Klipling shrieked as it hit Arthur with his wing, sending the prince crashing into the tree and Arthur lost his sight.
"Arthur!" The shouts of Alexia and Merlin made the beast aware of their presence. The pair quickly picked up a lance.
They looked at each other as their eye glowed bright golden. Fire glowed on the lance as Alexia's magic swirled around it and bolts of lightning appeared as Merlin's magic engulfed it.
"Bescúfan." The chant made the lance soar through the air, hitting the screeching beast as it gave its last cry and fell on the ground. Limp.
Merlin and Alexia nearly cried in relief as they laughed. The pair hugged each other, trying to convey their happiness."Oh look at them, so happy just to defeat one of my creatures." Orais laughed at the scene playing in front of his eyes in the water. The enchantress smirked.
"They are not aware of your powers my lord." The lady laughed.
"Well they can clearly enjoy it now, for they will cry the tears of blood at the end." His maniac smile returned as he stared at the two magical beings.
Morning arrived as the group returned after emerging victorious from the battle. It was told that the prince was able to land a mortal blow on the beast, killing it and the news was celebrated all across the kingdom. People were dancing in joy as their prince once again proved his courage and both Merlin and Alexia were proud of him. Even if he didn't kill the beast, he still stood in front fighting it. And that was enough for them.
That night Camelot slept amidst celebrations and no one felt like anything could go wrong.
So how was it? I hope it was fine.
And also, the second phase is going to be completed soon, three or more chapters to go? Maybe! So after that, the heart of gold will end. The sequel of this story will be posted after that. Because really, covering all the chapters in one story will make it really longggg!
So be prepared, just three or four chapters to go! And the Heart of Gold will come to an official end.
Woohoo!!!!!
Goodbye everyone!
