Link let Ember, Kestu and Drake out of their bottles. They were still in the cave that they appeared in. Outside, the battling has become fierce. Both sides had drawn out their monsters from their bottles, and explosions were appearing everywhere.
"The soldiers of Hyrule are losing!" Ember exclaimed!
"Yeah!" Agreed Kestu.
"What?" Asked Link.
"Ember noticed that the soldiers of Hyrule are losing," Explained Kestu.
"Then they will find us…" Link pointed out. Drake shivered.
Link looked at his monsters for a while. He noticed how strong they looked. How close to evolving they all were. Even though Ember had evolved recently, she had evolved a bit too late. She had been practicing enough that she would probably completely merge with Mountain Energy. Drake had been in more battles than the rest of them combined. His scales were turning a darker shade of blue then they were a couple days ago. Kestu's leaf was changing. It was rounding, and Link could see hints of color on the leaf. Also, the branches on his head was growing, and would probably look like a full blown tree.
"I think we should help turn the tide." A voice called from the entrance. In front of them was Mido,
"Who's that?" Asked Drake.
"An annoying friend of Link's." Responded Ember.
"W-what do you mean?" Link asked.
"All of our monsters are close to evolving. I think we should evolve them and surprise the enemy." Explained Mido. "Plus, I have been training as much as you have, or even more."'
Mido drew a sword and shield from his belt.
"Alright." Agreed Link.
Ember, Kestu, and Drake felt energy coursing through their bodies as they got ready for the upcoming battle.
Mido released his three monsters. He still had his Bio Baba, of course, but he had caught a wild Moblin and a dark, dark gray Rat.
"Charge!" The Moblin yelled as he leaped into the battle, quickly smashing a Team Power soldier with his club.
"What makes you in charge?" Grumbled Drake, but all of the rest including him followed suit.
They smashed into the battle in a flurry of moves.
Ember found herself in the middle of a skirmish in between a Chilfos, a Dinalfos, a Darknut, an Aerolfos, and a Lynel. The Lynel and the Darknut were on Hyrule's side, but even though it was a three on two, the two monsters in the Hylian army were putting up a good fight. Ember watched as sword clanged on sword and axe smashed shields. She was impressed by how good they were at that stuff, but then she realized if her kind used weapons, she would probably be that good at it. She then had to lie flat on the floor as a javelin whizzed over her head.
Quickly righting her mistake, she charged headlong into the battle, targeting enemies with Mountain attacks and Flame breaths. Then she came face to face with an old enemy. The Ice Chu Chu.
The Ice Chu Chu did not seem very surprised to see Ember.
"Hello, Dodongo." She Ice Chu Chu said oozily.
"Die." Embered growled fiercely.
"I think not." The Ice Chu Chu laughed. "I've been training for when we meet again."
A gust of wind picked up around the arena. Suddenly, the Ice Chu Chu summoned a large block of ice.
"Flame melts Ice." Laughed Ember.
She melted the whole mini-glacier in one breath.
"And turns the ice into water…" The Ice Chu Chu giggled maniacally.
The Ice Chu Chu harnessed the melted ice and created a jet of water that smashed into Ember. Ember felt the water seep through her scales and cool her insides, which caused her immense pain.
"...which snuffs out the Fire!" The Ice Chu Chu continued gleefully.
Suddenly, the Ice Chu Chu was plastered by arrows. It let out a surprised SLURRP and then blacked out. Drake leaped down from wherever he had been. Yet he was not a Lizalfos any more. His armor changed into metal, and an axe had grown on his tail. His snout was not as long, and his scales were a fluorescent blue. His sword had been upgraded, and so had his shield. He also had gained a bow and an unlimited stock of arrows.
Ketu also walked out from the frey, but he had grown. A lot. The sapling on his head had grown into a small tree, and his leaf had turned into two red maracas.
"I evolved into a Dinalfos." Drake explained.
"And I evolved into a Hestu." Kestu added.
Suddenly, there was a boom. Two giant monsters grew up from the battle. A Diababa, and The Imprisoned.
"Looks like Mido's monster's have evolved." Ember commented.
"Now it's just you who needs to evolve." Drake laughed.
And that is what happened. Ember grew. And grew. And grew until she was big enough to see over a house. She felt spikes sprout along her back and she felt two back feet grow in. She had become a King Dodongo.
"Wow!" She Kestu exclaimed. "Ember! I remember when you were smaller than my Korok form!"
Suddenly, Ember noticed something. A tall, green skinned human was approaching the battle. He rode on top of a giant, blue bipedal pig with a trident in his hand. The monster radiated evil.
"I, Ganon, have come with my master Ganondorf, to set things right in this battle!" The giant pig growled.
Ganon trampled the first row of soldiers and used his darkness to defeat the second row. Without thinking, Kestu, Ember, and Drake charged at the beast. Explosions rocketed everywhere as both Mido's and Link's monsters dueled with the giant beast. They traded blows until only Ember remained.
"I will destroy you, Queen Ember of the Dodongos. I will then take over all of the Dodongos you have ever met!" Ganondorf laughed from the shoulder of Ganon. "Kill her!" He ordered.
But Ganon could not move. The ground had grabbed him. A mountain seemed to rise up from the ground. But whatever it was, both Ganon and Ganondorf had been sealed away. Then Ember descended into darkness…
When Ember woke up, the next couple weeks passed through in a blur. Her team gained the award of the position of the Mountain Gym Leader, because the old one, Darunia, was retiring. Ember was disappointed that they were not going to be able to take part in the league, but they got to fight the other Gym Leaders anyway. Ember, Kestu, and Drake lived happily ever after while they perfected Mountain Type moves.
THE END
