Awakening Part Two

Kat growled, her eyes widening and nostrils flaring at the sight of two rangers charging at her.

The pink ranger shot arrows from her power bow at the tengas, making them drop like flies.

Kat gulped. In all her time fighting alongside the rangers, they had never been so brutal even while fighting henchmen.

"You!" The green ranger snarled, running at her, swinging his dagger, letting out arcs of emerald energies that swiftly disintegrated any tengas who were foolish enough to obstruct his path in a vain attempt to protect their mistress. He thrusted his free arm forward, shooting an orb of green fire at her.

Kat raised her hands and a wall of purple fire rose up from the ground, dispelling the attack, green and purple flames devouring each other.

"Nice to see you again, Tommy." She smirked only for the green ranger to lunge at her with his dagger. She dodged and parried each attack gracefully, laughing as she did so before she vanished in a swirl of purple smoke and appeared beside Harry. She snapped her fingers and tendrils of dark magic sprung out from the ground, latching themselves across the other wizards and throwing them away from Harry.

"Stupefy!" Harry said, pointing his wand at her, staggering away from her.

She laughed, swatting off the jet of red light and walking menacingly towards him.

"Stay away from my son!" The green ranger roared, jumping between them.

"Oh, you know I can't do that." She winked at him, only to be thrusted back as a barrage of energy arrows slammed against her, sending her rolling over the ground.

Harry gulped as the pink ranger jumped over him, landing beside the green ranger with the grace and finesse one would expect from a trapeze artist.

"Is that how you treat an old friend, Kim?" Kat coughed.

"You are no friend, Kat. We know who you really are and what you did. We remember everything." The pink ranger walked towards her slowly but dangerously.

Kat's eyes momentarily betrayed the slightest hint of fear before she smirked.

"Do you really?" She taunted, standing up.

"You betrayed all of us." The pink ranger slapped her.

"You hunted us. You tried to break us apart. The letters, that was you. Pettigrew, you brought him to Voldemort. Because of you, our son grew up an orphan. You ruined our lives again and again!" She reinforced every sentence with a punch.

Kat leapt back, her cheeks red, lips swollen.

"Did that make you feel better, Kimmy?" She sneered.

"No." The pink ranger said coldly, hitting Kat with the back end of her bow, watching grimly as she fell to the ground, Not wasting a second, she aimed the bow straight at Kat's heart. "But this might."

Kat's eyes widened before she grinned widely.

"Do it if you dare, Kimmy!" She hissed.

"Kim." The green ranger placed his hand over her shoulder. "Let's not stoop to her level."

"Tommy, she killed us over and over again!" She screamed, "She came after our son!"

"And I won't stop until you make me." Kat goaded.

"Shut it!" The green ranger glared at her, his visor momentarily flashing red, "You deserve a fate worse than death, Katherine. We will not kill you but we will contain you."

Kim hesitated before stepping back and letting go of her bow, letting it return to the Grid in a burst of pink light.

Kat started to cackle. "You disappoint me again, Kimmy. I really thought you would snap this time!"

"You are a maniac. Your tengas are gone and you are defeated." Tommy told her.

"Yeah, about that." Kat smirked, flicking her arms, summoning a pair of silver bracelets on each arm.

"Stop her!" Tommy yelled alarmed but it was too late as Katherine connected the bracelets and a wave of pink energy threw the two rangers back.

The moment they regained their footing, they saw the pink zeo ranger flying at them.

"I am not as defenceless as you think I am!" She cackled, thrusting her arms at them. "Fire Cloud!"

"Dragon Shield!" Tommy shouted, his shield glowing gold before it let out a beam of gold energy that formed a dome around him and Kimberly, protecting them from the torrent of pink fire.

"Zeo Ranger One - Power Kick!" She slammed her heel against the dome, shattering it and forcing Tommy back.

"Power Disc!" A round shield appeared in her hands, which she threw at Kimberly like a boomerang.

Kim summoned her bow, letting loose a single arrow at the shield. It dematerialised as it collided with the shield and Kat watched gleefully as the shield smashed against Kim's helmet, cracking her visor and forcing her to the ground.

The arrow reformed in the air in the same trajectory Kim had aimed it, striking the pink zeo ranger, sending sparks flying across her suit.

"You are not the only one with tricks." Kim snarked, standing up.

"That was not fair." Katherine seethed.

"Since when do you play fair, Katherine?" Tommy said, extending his hand and summoning his zeo power sword in a flash of red light. He crossed the sword with his dagger, letting loose a torrent of pure morphin energy that hit Katherine headfast, throwing her back as well as cancelling her morph.

"Your games end now, Kat." The pink ranger said as the two cornered their former friend.

"Oh, they have only just begun." Kat grinned devilishly at them. "I will be back for the boy but for now, I'll take my leave. Enjoy your reunion for it won't last long."

She slammed her fist to the ground and disappeared in a swirl of purple smoke.

"She got away again!" Kim yelled, demorphing to reveal herself in a pink shirt with white kapri pants and a red leather jacket.

"We will get her eventually." Tommy reassured, letting his morph fall as well, He had cut his long pony hair for a mohawk and he was in a white plaid shirt, black trousers, a green trench coat and a red bandana over his head. "But now, I think we owe some explanations."

They turned around to see four teenagers gaping at them.

"What- Who are you?" Harry asked.

Kim's eyes were fixated on Harry. Tears streamed from her face as she ran towards him, enveloping him in a hug.

Harry immediately detached himself from her. "Sorry, I am glad you two saved us but I don't think we know each other."

"Yeah, sorry. I forgot about that." Kim fumbled awkwardly, stepping back.

Tommy came forwards, barely able to keep himself calm, fidgeting nervously. "Harry, it might be a difficult for you to understand what we are about to tell you but I swear it is the truth, no matter how bizarre it sounds. I am Tommy Oliver and she is Kimberly Hart. We are the Power Rangers."

"Okay, but how do you two know his name?" Ginny asked, taking his arm.

Tommy looked at Kim before sighing and nothing could have prepared Harry for what he was about to hear next.

"We know your name because we were the ones who named you. We were James Potter and Lily Evans in our past lives. Harry, we are your parents."
