Disclaimer: No. I don't own Sora or Riku or Kairi. (chokesob)

My first Kingdom Hearts 2 fanfic! Yay.

Pairings-- Yaoi. SoraxRiku

Setting-- On Destiny Islands, right where Sora and Riku are talking on those last scenes.

ALSO: Please don't leave flaming comments on yaoi. I sincerly don't care what you think.

The sunset placed half on the sky and half looking as if it were drowning in the ocean. Beautiful rosy pinks and oranges of ribbon-like clouds reflected the last light of the sinking sun, edges of white clouds still hung lazily in the sky in indecision whether to sink with the sun or stay with the moon that would soon take a place in a darker sky.

The ocean continued lapping at the shore, leaving behind stranded deep-sea items, repeatedly wetting the same smooth brown sand. Foamy waves kept in a repeating pattern, the comforting noise of it being drained back into the ocean only to come hungrily back onto shore, light seagull cries added into the noise. A light breeze of wind spun in with the scent of the sea floated through the islands, tousling silver hair and chocolate brown spikes.

Aquamarine eyes stared thoughtfully at the sun he sat on a bended palm tree, one leg up and the other down, his arm hanging on his knee the other placed onto the tree. Beside him was a younger, shorter blue-eyed boy though his expression was just as far off as the other. He was standing, leaning against the tree his arms and hands behind his head.

Similar thoughts running through both of their minds, Should I tell him?

"Nothings changed huh?" Riku said.

"Nope. Nothing will" Sora answered.

"What a small world"

"But part of one that's much bigger"

"Yeah."

I wonder how he'd take it?

I wonder if he feels the same.

I'll say it, no matter what he feels back.

"Hey Sora."

"Yeah?"

Riku slid off the palm tree, taller then the other one who stared expectantly at him. He smiled lightly, bent forward and pressed his lips against Sora. It was over quick, Riku bending his head to whisper the words into Sora's ear.

"I love you"

"Sora! Riku!" Kairi ran towards them, holding a bottle above her head. Both of them turned their heads towards her. Neither displayed anything of the scene before.

Does he love me back?

He does love me!

The red head bent over, panting still clutching the bottle in her hands. "It's a message from the king." She said. Displaying the bottle where a scroll marked by the King's crest plainly showed. Sora grabbed it, uncorking it and pulling out the message, the remaining two at his sides reading along.

I'll tell him the first chance I get…
