RWBY/Bayonetta
Jaune Arc – Bayonetta – Amber
Just before his fifteenth birthday, Jaune Arc instinctively unlocked his aura and discovered his semblance. Feeling as if everyone, his family included, was seeing him as a freak, he ran away to be alone, and just kept running. Now, at the age of almost eighteen, he ends up mixed in things he would have rather not gotten involved with. Will he continue to run, or will his instinctive need to help those in need, finally keep him in one spot?
/==/
"Let me out, I can handle this easily." came the seductive and annoyed voice of his alter ego. An entity that he could unleash through his semblance. But Jaune was more than unwilling to do just that. He hated his semblance. It made him feel like a freak, an outcast. So instead of fighting the pack of Beowulf hot on his trail, he just chose to run. To act as bait and draw them further from the small caravan, he was travelling with.
"Not now!" Jaune hissed through grit teeth as he pushed aura into his legs, to keep him barely ahead of the pursuing pack. "We'll drag them further from the caravan encampment, and then I will do it."
"You know, people think you're weird because you speak out loud when you talk to me." The voice pointed out.
"Shut it!" Jaune snapped.
"Point proven." the very feminine voice stated. "I don't know why you just don't accept our association. It's your semblance that bound us."
"Would you stuff it and just help me?" Jaune pleaded after a quick look of his shoulder. The pack was closing.
"I'm rather limited while not manifested."
"Just give me access to Witch Time, we both know that works!" Jaune shouted as his legs started to burn.
"Fine." the voice agreed, her tone sounding very much annoyed, and exasperated.
Jaune slid to a stop and tensed his sore legs. The lead Beowulf snarled as it launched itself at him. Jaune just held his ground, and at the moment of impact burst in a small swarm of bats. The Beowulf's momentum carried it through the swarm, its swipe throwing it off balance, with a final effect of it crashing head first into the ground, and flipping head over ass. Jaune reformed just to the left of the original strike. The rest of the good-sized pack, fell upon him. Jaune tilted steps and spun, avoiding the attacks as if the grimm wolves were moving in slow motion.
"You are just going to wear yourself out, and drain your aura by constantly dodging. If you're not going to let me out, then fight back!" snapped the voice.
"Fine!" Jaune snapped back as he pivoted away from the largest of the pack. Doing a split legged hands-free cartwheel, he pulled the tie free that was holding his near waist length waterfall of golden hair in a ponytail.
"I suggest Salamandra, seeing it's the only weapon you have a modicum of skill with… on your feet. You need to practice your kicks."
Jaune chose this time not to reply, and instead moved his body about, as if dancing. He continued to evade the leaps and slashes of the Beowulf, his feet moving in time to an unheard beat, his arms and hands moving in a hypnotic pattern. Spinning to his right on his the balls of his left foot, he brought his right leg up. The air shimmered around the back of his three-inch heeled boots. The sound of a chainsaw revving up ripped through the air, followed by the pained howl of a Beowulf as the teeth of the miniature chainsaw, resembling a sword attached to the back of his boots reaching from ankle to his heel, tore through the doomed creature's inky flesh; severing its head from its shoulders. As soon as his foot touched the ground, Jaune spun again, and flipped backwards, performing another hands-free split-legged cartwheel, slashing upwards. The teeth of the chainsaw attached to his heeled boots, sundering another Beowulf's head from its shoulders.
"Sloppy. Do better." the voice chided him as Jaune continued to move, almost dancing between the remaining five Beowulf. Kicking straight up, he stood in a perfect standing splits, before crashing his foot down on the exposed back of an unlucky grimm whose pounce he had evaded, with an axe kick like attack. The saw again doing its gruesome work and ripping through the fell creature's flesh, bisecting it. "Better. Four left. Wicked Weave."
Jaune was breathing hard. The effort he put into his extended flight, piling on to the strain of performing combat manoeuvres he was still unfamiliar with. Jaune pivoted, spun and stepped away, his heeled boots ripping up some of the ground as he moved. He weaved his hands about him, while he put distance between him and his foes. His hair surged and floated in the air, before as if alive it shot straight into the air above his head. A blue sigil shimmered into existence in the air above him as a massive fist shot forward. Golden blonde hair unnaturally extended, twisted and swirled forming the arm that propelled the Goliath sized fist forward. A sickening crunch followed the impact as the summoned appendage connected with two of the remaining four Beowulf. Crumpling their heads, while also throwing them backwards to smash through a couple of stout trees.
"Passable. You need to move faster."
Jaune rolled away from one of the last two grimm, landing in a perfect horizontal split. His hair flared upward once again as another sigil form directly above the creature that was recovering from its pounce. A gigantic heeled foot slammed down, pulping the beast as it slammed into the forest floor.
"Better, but a bit gruesome. One left. Are you sure? You're just about of aura."
Jaune rolled backwards out of his splits, onto his hands and spun. The chainsaws on his heels revving, as the connected with the final enraged grimm. A gout of black ichor and chunks of dissolving flesh splattered around him as with each revolution the weapons attached to his feet chewed deeper into the doomed grimm.
"Better, but you need more work. If you stopped this running, we could properly train you." the voice half congratulated, and half chastised him. "Maybe even find a way for us to fully separate instead of just exchanging places."
Jaune didn't reply, and instead fell flat on his back. The weapons on his feet dematerializing, as he panted, like a dog trying to cross the deserts of Vacuo. His arms outstretched to his sides, and his hair spread across the forest floor, almost like a halo.
"Jaune, pull yourself together. We have to get back, and there might be more of those demons around."
"I keep telling you that they're called grimm." Jaune groaned. His body was wiped. His aura having taken a massive dip due to using the abilities his semblance had gifted him, or the entity that shared his head had. He wasn't clear on that point, and to be honest, he really didn't care right now. He just wanted to rest.
"Grimm, demons. Pretty much the same thing in my book." the voice commented, "Now get up. We need to get back to that caravan before they leave."
Grumbling, Jaune rolled over, and stiffly climbed to his feet. He took a minute or so to brush his hands through his hair, to remove the odd stick and leaf that had gotten tangled in the golden waterfall of silk that he had been growing out since his sixteenth birthday. After tying it back, he placed one tired foot before the other and started the decently long hike back to the camp. It took him a good almost twenty minutes to make the return trip, only to find the caravan gone, and his personal affects scatter across the forest floor.
"I thought this would happen." the voice piped up in his mind. "Might as well see what you still have left."
"Yeah, yeah." Jaune replied as he went about to gather what little someone from the caravan hadn't taken. His rations and water were gone, as was the little lien he had stashed away. Though the couple changes of pants, and his treasured Pumpkin Pete hoodie had just been discarded. He picked up the small cross-body sling hard bottom pack and began to repack it.
"You should check the compartment. You could use a green lolly." Jaune just nodded and pulled out the little bit of clothes he had stored inside, before brushing his hands over the hard bottom of the small pack. By touch, he found the hidden catch and popped it.
"Sill there. They didn't find them." Jaune reported, before adding, "Are you sure? I would rather save them for a real emergency."
"Maybe you are right. Your aura is already starting to recover, and it shouldn't be long until it's refreshed."
Jaune closed the compartment, and returned to packing the two tightly rolled pairs of jeans, the couple pairs of underwear and socks he had, plus his hoodie. Draping it across his body, he stood and took another look around the abandoned camp. Brushing off his jeans, he made his way to the road, and sighed.
"They probably thought you died, to the demons."
"It's grimm, and I guess you're right." Jaune huffed in agitation. "This sucks."
"I agree, but might as well get moving. You won't get any closer to Vale if you just stand around." Jaune yawned as the voice continued to talk to him. "Though, I don't understand why you want to go there when you could have been perfectly happy and safe in Ansel."
"Because I saw the looks my family was giving me. They saw me as a freak."
"No, Jaune they thought you were having a mental breakdown, like everyone else who meets us… BECAUSE you keep speaking out loud when you respond to me!" the voice went from annoyed to calm in short order, "You need to break that habit."
"And you think having a semblance that turns you into a woman…"
"Umbral Witch." the voice corrected.
"Doesn't have anything to do with it?" Jaune continued ignoring the interruption.
"You know my theory, Jaune. Your semblance binds us, and allows us to share not only your body, but my abilities. It's the only explanation, and if it is true, then there is a chance if you took the time to really practice; for us to completely separate."
Jaune didn't reply as he just started to walk. Following the direction the caravan that he had been part of had been travelling in. Adjusting his pack slightly, he continued to put one foot ahead of the other, while the voice in his mind went silent.
/=/
"This would go faster if you let me use… what did you call it? Beast Within." Jaune idly commented as he passed the two and half hour of walking along the pretty much deserted compressed dirt road.
"You don't have the adeptness to harness that power as yet." the Voice replied, "It requires much more concentration, and stamina than you are currently capable of."
"Well if someone would start…"
"WHEN you can use Witch Time and Wicked Weave without burning two to three times the aura it should take… then we'll work on augmenting your skill set." the Voice paused as Jaune's head snapped up from watching the road he was walking along. "Jaune what was that?"
"Sounded like gun shots, thunder and an explosion?" Jaune's eyes narrowed as he noticed the drifting puff of smoke rising into the air that was filled with swirling clouds. "I think someone is in trouble."
"Then hurry up."
Jaune broke into a sprint, pushing aura into his legs to boost his speed. It took him a couple of minutes to cover the distance, the whole time the sounds of combat grew, until he rounded a corner. The cry of pain of the dusky skinned young woman as an arrow punched through her shoulder, made his fists clench, and without any second thoughts he charged forward. He activated Witch Time as he closed, slowing the reactions of the three assailants by his sudden appearance. He shoulder-tackled a grey haired young man while hopping into the air and pivoting his body snapping out with his boot feet driving the green haired girl away from the woman they were holding. The lighting fast kicking counter-attack by the grey haired man sent Jaune tumbling when one of his boots landed a solid blow to his gut. Rolling to his feet, Jaune dodged as the third figure, a black hair woman, unleashed a trio of arrows in his direction. The resulting explosion caused him to tumble, and end up sprawled on his stomach.
"Jaune they're more than you can handle. Switch!" the voice shouted in his head. Jaune pushed himself from the ground, and dashed forward, while yanking the tie off and freeing his long golden blond hair. Jaune much to the confusion of the trio of what he figured were bandits; spun on the balls of his feet, while weaving his arms and hands before him, before stamping down with his right foot while shooting his left-hand straight up into the air.
"Get him!" the black haired one shouted while pointing in Jaune's direction, spurring the grey haired one to rush forward. Jaune's hair flowed around him, covering his entire form, before a pulse of golden light bust from his form. The grey haired man's attack was airborne as the light faded, only to miss his attack, as now instead of a long haired blond guy, stood a very long haired raven haired woman. She tilted her body and pivoted on the balls of her left foot, while bringing her right leg up into a kick.
He cried out in pain, as he was almost bent over double as the woman's calf connected with his exposed back. He tumbled and rolled along the ground, his aura shimmering, from an impact that nearly snapped his spine.
"No one said you could touch," the woman said in a very serious tone as she completed her pivot, and turned to face the green haired and black haired women. She dashed forward, did a dive roll, from which she executed a flying sidekick from. The surprise that shone from the green haired woman's red eyes caused her to chuckle, "Adorable trick, cutie, but not good enough."
The raven haired woman drew her bow, as the second of her two associates was sent careening across the ground. When the strange woman weaved around the trio of arrows, the raven haired woman finally noticed the guns in her hands and attached to the pillar heels on her feet. Throwing herself to the ground, her narrowly avoided the volley of bullets sent her way. Rolling to her knee, she slapped her hand against the ground and a second later released a volley of her own. This one consisting of shards of superheated glass. The woman dropped to her knees while leaning backwards almost double, sliding underneath the deadly projectiles, as her hair weaved into the air. From a blue sigil that formed behind the twisting mass of raven hair, a massive fist materialized, catching her flush, throwing her backwards along the ground as her aura sparked and sputtered.
The sudden appearance then of a black caped man, wielding a sword, signalled it was time to retreat. A blast of super heat ground, threw up a cloud of dust, blocking them from sight.
"Pity, that was almost fun." the woman asked, as she turned towards the wounded olive skin woman.
"Who are you? Where did you come from?" the black haired cape wearing figure asked, as she approached the downed woman.
"Maybe a little later, darling. First things first." she replied, as she stepped forward, swaying her hips while sliding her arms together above her head, as her hair wrapped around her black bodysuit covered figure. A pulse of purple light and the man was now staring at a long haired blond teen.
A little confused, the man watched as the teen dropped to his knees and slowly tipped the woman onto her side. Before appearing to listen to a voice, no one else could hear. Moments later, after dumping out his pack, he placed a green leaf shaped lollipop into the woman's mouth.
"What are you doing?" the man asked.
"Saving her. It should help heal her up." the teen replied, as he gently lifted the young woman's head and placed it in his lap.
"Who are you, and why are you here?" the man asked.
"Jaune Arc, and I was following the road. I'm trying to reach Vale." Jaune replied without thinking, his attention focused entirely on the injured woman in his lap.
"Arc?" the man replied, as the look on his face signalled he was trying to recall something important.
"And who was that woman?"
"Which one? There was a black haired one and then a green haired one. I have no idea who they were, but they attacked her." Jaune tilted his head, indicating the girl in his lap.
"No, I'm talking about the one, that you used to be."
"Oh, yeah her. Umm…" Jaune paused while biting his lip, before once again speaking. "That was Bayonetta."
"Bayonetta?" The man eyed the blond, then turned his attention to the injured Amber. As she sucked on the lollipop, her colour was returning, her breathing evening out. "I think we need to have a little chat, Jaune."
"Can it wait until…" he tilted his head indicating the girl in his lap.
"Amber."
"Until Amber is back on her feet?"
"It can. Name's Qrow by the way. Thanks for stepping in, you probably saved Amber's life."
"Jaune! Heads up!" Bayonetta screamed inside his head. Without pause, Jaune acted. In the three years since he and Bayonetta had bounded, he had learned that tone of voice; and when he heard it, he acted, no hesitation, not questions asked. Jaune scooped up the starting to come to Amber, and threw himself forward. He twisted midair, protecting Amber as he skidded across the ground on his back.
"What the Fuck?" Qrow cursed as where Jaune had been now stood a massive marble skinned creature. A massive golden spear driven deep into the ground. Qrow backed away, as he took in the creature. It reminded him of a centaur. A human torso fused with a horse's body. The only problem was those were fiction and this looked rather real and disturbing. A set of great white wings spread from the human torso's back. There was no head to speak off, instead the face was located on the front of the monstrosity, covering the chest of the human and horse torsos.
Jaune still with Amber in a princess carry, dashed to the side as the beast charged, gouging the ground with its weapon. Jaune tossed Amber into Qrow's arms as he shot past. Twisting in mid-dash, Jaune powered his way towards a nearby open field. The beast gave chase, without a sound.
"Qrow?" Amber muttered, around the lollipop in her mouth, as her eyes fluttered open. "What?"
Qrow said nothing as he watched the twisted past another attack, as his hair became alive, and in a flash of golden light, was replaced by the woman Qrow thought was named Bayonetta. The fight Qrow and Amber witness was fast and brutal. The beast dissolving into golden motes of light, after Bayonetta, dodged a spear thrust, and while actually spinning about the outstretched weapon unload a barrage of point-blank shots from her heels into the beast's face.
In a replay of what he had seen earlier, a pulse of purple light later, and Jaune was once again making his way towards them while tying back his almost waist length hair. Qrow had some many questions, and he couldn't put any of them to words, at least at that moment. Amber, feeling refreshed, had climbed out of his grasp, and stood there watching the blond approach, while still savouring the lollipop in her mouth.
"We should get out of here. The sooner, the better," the teen spoke up as he snatched up his pack and started to move off down the road. With a quick look at Qrow, Amber moved to pick up her staff and followed suit. Qrow, pulled out his flash and took a long drink, before jogging off after the pair.

Jaune looked over his shoulder when the door of the conference room he was waiting in opened. His deep blue eyes focused on the green garbed, silver haired man who stepped inside. He was alone, and didn't venture any further into the room, aside from enough to allow the door to close behind him. Placing both his hands on top of the cane he planted on the floor before, he gave Jaune a smile. Jaune turned from the window he was gazing out of.
"Mr Arc, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, My name is Ozpin, and I am Headmaster of this Academy. Also, let me give you my personal thanks for your stepping in to aid Ms Amber."
"Anyone would have…"
"No, Mr Arc, I'm sorry to say in this time and age, not many would." Ozpin smiled, and Jaune's eyes narrowed. "Would you mind having a seat with me. I believe we have a few things to discuss, and we might be here for some time."
"There is magic in you." Jaune stated flatly, his eyes narrowing, while he reached up with his left hand towards the tie that secured his hair. "What do you want?"
"Interesting. How?"
"She told me, she said there is more, but she won't tell me." Jaune pulled the tie, letting his hair fall free, about his shoulders. "She also said I should give you a chance to come clean, as a sign of faith."
"By she, I assume that is this Bayonetta that shares your body? A manifestation of your semblance, perhaps?"
"Yes."
"Interesting. You are a rare breed, Mr Arc. Willing to step in a help someone you don't know without hesitation." Ozpin moved forward and took a seat, "And apparently if I'm to believe what you say, this alter-ego of yours knows more about me after just meeting me, than most people would ever learn in their entire lives."
"Lucky me." Jaune deadpanned.
"That is debatable." Ozpin leaned back in his chair, his brown eyes studying the young man. He had a feminine look to him, a look that obviously hid his strength. His clothing was mainly nondescript. Currently, he was in faded jeans and a grey hoodie. "If you would indulge me. When did you unlock your semblance? There are no records of a Jaune Arc attending any combat preparatory schools. Though, there are multiple advertisements asking for your whereabouts. It seems your family is rather concerned for your welfare. How long has it been since you've spoken to them, let alone seen them?"
"It has been a few years." Jaune admitted.
"And you discovered your semblance how long ago?"
"A few years." Jaune moved to sit on the sill of the window, overlooking Beacon's main courtyard. "You're not being open."
"My apologies, it's just that what Qrow has divulged to me in regard to your abilities, is a little… fanciful."
"It's up to you if you want to believe him or not."
"That is true, and I've seen many strange sights, so what was described about you is not so far-fetched for me to consider as truth."
"What do you want?" Jaune asked, his lips pressing into a scowl once the words left his mouth.
"That is a question worthy of asking, but so is…" Ozpin leaned forward, lifting his cane up and pointing at Jaune. "What do you want?"
"Now, why would that matter to you?"
"Because if it is with in my power or abilities to grant, I don't see why we couldn't make a mutually beneficial agreement, and achieve both our desires." Ozpin put his cane down and leaned back into his chair. "So what do you say? Would you and Ms Bayonetta care to have a discussion with me? Maybe work out how we could help each other?"

In my Original Version of "Secrets", I played with the idea of giving Female!Jaune gun heels. The idea has still stuck with me, so this is another attempt to bring some Bayonetta to Remnant.
Hope you enjoy.
Open admission:
I have not played the Bayonetta games, so I'm using the wiki and some YouTube videos to base some things around.
