So I've never written fanfiction before. please be gentle. I just got this scene in my had and had to write it. don't know where it's going yet. let's try this.
I felt nauseous. The slight jostling from the moving vehicle wasn't helping the dizziness. As I was staring at the white roof above me the beeping that filled my ears got slower. Until then crisp white it began to obscure. Black spots appeared and my impaired brain called up a memory of a field.
Blinding hot sun glaring down at me. The buzzing of bees, a familiar stench, and black spots on white. "Don't be afraid. He's lazy and slow. I'm much faster." Emmett chuckled and took my hand lifting it so I touched a white part of the fur in front of me. He held me up with his other hand balancing me on his forearm. I giggled at the odd feeling under my fingers and was startled when the cow let out a loud moo. He chuckled again and put both arms under me to lift me on his shoulders. I squealed but quickly wound my hands around his neck and laid my cheek on his head.
"Do we have to go?" I asked him sighing dramatically.
"I'm afraid so pumpkin. We'll be back though. Can't keep the cowboy away from the wild." He was imitating a southern accent as he trudged up the hill again and brought us back to the house and the suitcases that waited.
As quickly as it came it vanished. The memory left me with a strange feeling of contentment and anguish. The dread settled in my stomach wiping the slight smile from my face and urging the beeping to a faster pace. Galloping, like the horses on that hill, in the sun, with my face pressed against his back clinging to his shirt and inhaling the smell of teenage boy mixed with sunscreen. That was the last thing I smelled, oddly, before I couldn't feel anything anymore and everything stopped accompanied by a desperate "no, no, no..."
