Back at the apartment complex, a couple of police cars had pulled up with their lights flashing and sirens blaring. A bloody crime had just taken place apparently.
Detective Mike walked passed a yellow caution tape that read "police line do not cross".
There were about 10 cops surrounding the area.
Detective Mike followed the stairs into the basement where the maintenance man, Gabe, was. The very, first thing he noticed was the blood-splattered mess.
There were a couple of cops walking around the basement with gloves on and evidence bags in their hands. Whatever had happened must have been serious!
The Detective held a flashlight in his hand looking around the scenario. He saw blood and body parts everywhere. "What in the world happened down here?"
