At a café DJ was busy being a waiter for the customers serving them drinks and snacks all while being positive, everyone there took a real liking to DJ thinking he was the nicest person in the world.
Customer: thanks DJ you're the best
DJ: aw shucks you're welcome
While serving people the café's TV started playing showing Chris Mclean.
Chris: are you a teenager that wants to be famous or stinking rich then compete on our new show TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND! Send an audition tape to Entertainment Productions before May 15th for chance to compete on our show and become a millionaire
Customer: hey DJ you should try out for that
Customer 2: yeah big, strong, tough guy like you would be perfect that show
DJ: I know yawl
Customer 3: give it a thought and besides the money could be really useful for you and your parents and it would stop your brothers from looking down on you
When DJ finished his shift and went home, he thought to himself how useful the money could be it could help pay for a good college so his parents wouldn't have to work so hard, help buy a bigger home so they could move out of their tiny apartment.
DJ: you know what I will go on that show for my family
When he got home, he ran up to his room and grabbed his video camera.
(Audition)
He sets up the camera and rushes towards his bed.
DJ: hey dawg DJ here, I think I'd be a good contestant for Total Drama Island because I'm kind, I work well with others and I'm strong and… (sits on his bed and grabs a picture of his mom) well I was raised right thanks mom, actually my mom is the reason I want to win because she taught me, I can be anything that I want (starts sobbing and holds the picture closer) I love you momma…that's it…thanks for listening (starts crying)

He carries on crying for a while until he's brave enough to go mail the tape.
When he gets to a mailbox, he kisses the video tape for good luck and drops it into the box.
DJ: I'm doing this for you momma… (starts crying)
