As Gwen's mom left for work Gwen herself was stuck doing all the house chores while her little brother just spent his days being lazy. While she was cleaning the dishes, her little brother kept switching through the channels to find something to watch, soon while Gwen was picking up dirty dishes her brother switches to a show featuring Chris Mclean.

Chris: are you a teenager that wants to be famous or stinking rich then compete on our new show TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND! Send an audition tape to Entertainment Productions before May 15th for chance to compete on our show and become a millionaire

Gwen's Brother: hey why don't you audition for that

Gwen: uhm no thanks

Gwen's Brother: why not

Gwen: because I have a really low chance of winning and an even lower chance of getting on

Gwen's Brother: but if you do then we can get the money we need so mom doesn't have to work so hard and you go to college

Gwen: still not doing it

Gwen's Brother: sis I dare you to make an audition if not I'm going to constantly pester you until May 15th and…

Gwen: fine just let me get the camera

After her chores were done Gwen went into her room with the camera and started recording herself.

(Audition)

Gwen: hi I'm Gwen I'm top in my art class and practically the whole school, so when… (she sighs) alright I'll be honest with you I don't want to be on this show I'm only doing an audition is because my stupid little brother dared me to make one and if I don't, he's going to be more annoying as usual, and besides out of the hundreds of other auditions it's not like you're going to pick me anyway

(End of Audition)

When she left her room, she went to her brother to prove a point.

Gwen: there I did you happy

Gwen's Brother: not yet (grabs the tape) I'm going down to the post office to mail this

Gwen: why can't I do it myself

Gwen's Brother: because the second you were about to leave the house; you were just going to throw this down the gutter

Gwen: of course not, I was going to throw it in the trash

Gwen's Brother: whatever you can thank me later when you're on tv (he leaves the house)

Gwen sat back on the couch and then immediately face palmed herself while shaking her head sideways.

Gwen: oh boy what did I get myself into, you know what relax it's not like they're even going to pick you anyway

Gwen's little brother left the house and walked towards the nearest mailbox to deliver the tape.

Gwen's Brother: is this right to do, you know what relax it's like a hundred to one chance they'll pick her
