In this we'll see how the producers made Total Drama. And why the contestants joined, what happened when they left home, what happened when they got to the resort, when the left the island and went home, when they started school again, introducing their love to their families and so on.

27. Justin's Letter

Justin and his friend Ray were currently sitting in class learning about acting from their bald and somewhat questionable teacher Mr Sikowitz.

Sikowitz: okay before we finish for the day, I'd like to go over with you all about a style I call method acting where you become the character you play

Justin: that sounds dumb

Sikowitz: oh, really then somebody give me a character to become that is nothing like me in any way

Ray: a man with hair

Justin: a man with dignity

Student: a good, respected teacher

The whole class just chuckled then the bell went giving them all the que to go home, however Sikowitz stopped Justin to talk to him.

Sikowitz: hang on Justin

Justin: ah come on just let me go home

Sikowitz: not yet do you recall that Chris Mclean came to our school and announced that a student would go on his show

Justin: yeah…are you saying that I

Sikowitz: maybe, maybe not but this letter should explain it (hands Justin the letter) now I have to go see an audition by Trina Vega to determine whether she'll be enrolled here or not and enjoy the milk of a coconut

Later at night Justin was in his room wondering whether he got on or not.

Justin: if I got on then everything works out, if I didn't then my looks are pointless and I'll get nowhere in life, okay here we go

He opens the letter to find a contract, a plane ticket and a letter that said:

Dear Justin Budchen

We are proud to announce that you out of all the hundreds of other teens you have specifically been picked to star in our new tv show Total Drama Island. Too officially participate please sign the contract to state that you are comfortable to be on TV and mail back before June 6th if not then you will not be able to compete and will be replaced. However, if you do however mail back then on June 23rd please arrive at your designated airport and board the plane to Toronto with the plane ticket provided, once there a limousine will be waiting for you to drop you off at a harbour where a yacht will take you to the island.

Justin was thrilled by this and so relieved he was right all along.
